Awesome park with a baseball field, two kids playground, one supervised beach, 3 double sided graffiti murals, a basketball court, multiple tennis courts, a community recreational center, toilets and changing rooms, parking, picnic tables, a cycling road and I'm probably missing some other things. Only thing missing is a place to rent canoes and kayaks. Quite romantic at night, but it closes at 10pm and security guards will kick you out if you overstay.

Beautiful park and beach within the city. There is a wonderful bike/in-line skating path that passes through there and a nice parking lot to leave the car. A few Picnic tables, a volleyball net and basketball nets. Also a play park for kids. So definitely a great place to spend time as a family. I recommend. Beware: it usually floods in the spring.

This is a very well equipped park. It gives out to the Outaouais river. It has a beach, a volleyball court, tennis courts, baseball diamond, community centre, kids play structure and even lawn bowling (pétanque). Dogs prohibited sign posted up.

Also I have heard and I am NOT 100%. But appearently at the end off the day when they start draining the pool, they allow you to bring your dog for a swim.

It was awesome. There was "Zumba in the park" for free on Wednesdays at 7pm. I was able to park my car, walk with baby in the stroller and dance away. It was nicely organized with instructors and places for the people to dance. They had loud speakers so even though I danced in the back, I could hear the music. Great music selection too! 80s music, Salsa, Current pop music, etc. The instructors were energetic too. Next time I'll bring my husband and toddler. The park is very large. There's a community center building, baseball diamond, basketball court and two playgrounds with picnic tables everywhere. And it's right at the water. There is a beach and bike path too. Absolutely beautiful. I will go again ❤

Fantastic park all year round. I'm not sure if the washrooms are open during the winter but they were recently. Nice view of the river and Ottawa from the beach. Easily accessible by car or bike and close to many other amenities such as the entrance to Gatineau park, food and a bike repair shop. The bike path is very nice, the two playgrounds are very fun and there are spaces for beach volleyball, basketball and softball. During the year there is the old Aylmer market and a summer camp, which makes it a bit more crowded in the summer though.

This is a really nice, clean and scenic park. There is a jungle gym for the kids, basketball and tennis courts, lots of trees, a sandy beach and shoreline. It also connects to take that traverse the shoreline and lots of opportunities to see some wildlife. Great place to bring the kids to the park to play. This park has lots of outdoor structures for children of all ages to enjoy for hours. Seating for parents available. Plenty of free parking. It's also a good area to enjoy winter activities like sledding, ice fishing, and skating. Beautiful area for a picnic and a swim or a summers stroll. The sunsets are spectacular!

This is a very nice park with clean bathrooms, a good mix of shade and sunny areas, and a beautiful view of the river. If you are visiting with children, there is a nice play structure and basketball hoops. The only bad thing I have to say is that there is goose poop all over the beach which impedes its use. Not much you can do about that though!

It's a large multi purpose municipal park located on the Ottawa River in the Hull quarter. It has a really good baseball tournament quality field, tennis courts, a community center, and, first and foremost a relatively wide municipal beach. The beach's downside is that once you're in the water, the feeling on your feet is like walking in near mudlike conditions.

The beach is dirty, too many Canada Geese dropping and the water is dirty (ottawa/gatineau river). The kids only started there for maybe half an hour, got grossed out by the water and wanted to leave. The good thing is free parking, there are play structures nearby for the kids (we didn't go on uber play structure although Quebec lifted the restriction) and it's in the city.

Two licks of water for my 5lb dog on a leash. Didn't swim or anything was there for a minute, if that. I get told, as I am already walking away, that dogs aren't allowed on the beach (for future reference). It's just 32 degrees out. I'm dog sitting for my sister and now I understand why dog owners complain about these types of rules. Be very careful at the edge of the shore, watch your children c a place where there is a real danger of drowning, with a large powerful current of water. This is a lovely park on the Gatineau side of the Ottawa River. Bike/walking paths are easilly accessible as the run through the park. There are play structures for children and it has larger trees to seek shade. There is a small section of the waterfront that is usable when the water lowers during the summer, but I wouldn't recommend very young children play there as the are rapids fast moving enough to be a significant danger.

Beautiful park , has an amazing beach facing the city. Kids play area , tennis courts bike lanes . 10 min from downtown Ottawa plenty of nice views and very peaceful. It wasn’t busy during covid time . No a bbq parc it is more going swimming and walking biking even going hiking off-road . I m pleasantly surprised I found this
