An excellent park with a beautiful view. Great for quiet walks. When I was there I saw some kite surfers in wetsuits even though it is cold and was quite impressed.

My family just discovered this park this past summer and it's one of our favorite places to go now. There's a walking path, boat launch and docks, picnic area, beach, volleyball nets in the main area. But, a small drive or walk away is a kids park and playground. This park has it all for family fun and if highly recommend it!

Great place to bring your kids. The play structure in the parc are some of the best I've seen. The area supervised by lifeguards on the water is clean and not too crowded since this area is quite large. Lots of big trees for shade. You can take a long walk along the water in the parc, beach and port or along the bike path going thru. However the public bathrooms could use more regular cleanings.

I’ve lived in Aylmer for a while now and I don’t feel that I visit this area enough. It has plenty to offer throughout the year. Summer time of course is fun when the weather cooperates and you can cross country ski in the winter. Weekends are pretty packed so prepare for that if you plan to visit. The beach isn’t half bad at all. Too bad they didn’t allow food trucks of sorts to set up. It would add some ‘flavour’ to the area ☺️. All in all a nice place to come and chill. ????

Pool itself is good. My issue is more with the covid policies. To be clear, I agree with covid measures, but I do feel information could be better communicated for new patrons of the pool before arriving (maybe included in the confirmation email. For example, you have to wear a mask while in the change room and while around but not in the pool. This is fine however, you should really bring disposable masks as you have to wear your mask while changing, to get into the shower, and to get to the pool area. Very good chance that your mask will get wet and, once it's wet it's useless.

There's no play structure for kids, but there are several picnic tables and, if you go a little further down, a nice, small, lookout with a view of the bridge. If you play pojemon, there are several pokestops... which is a bouns for me...

Honestly I've been extremely delighted with the efforts that have gone into making Aylmer a fantastic place to visit. I had spent years working there and have had the pleasure to witness it's transformation into a great place that you could be proud of and have it as a nice place to raise your family there. They have removed all of the problem areas and focused on creating an amazing environment which a glimpse can be seen by the Beach at the Marina.

Parc des Cedres is a great and pretty big park. The view is fantastic, no obstruction to see the sun completely disappear. The river looks great and there are very large areas of grass to sit on. There's also parks for kids and the bike path cuts right in the middle of it. Easily accessible with lots of places to park alongside the park. Thats also a place where one of the biggest St Jean celebration happens in the region, if not THE biggest. I also personally love to see the boats and the little lighthouse

A large public boat launch with ample parking for your trailer, large marina, a nearby pavilion for food and refreshments, a sandy beach (though it feels muddy when you are in the water), with beautiful views across the river. In the winter, the beach is the starting point for ski and board kiting. Great place overall.

If you want a cheap date idea, this is it. You can take a nice walk along the water or on the beach. There is also room, if you bring your food, to have a picnic. This place is especially beautiful if you are there during sunset or early in the morning. It can be suprisingly entertaining to sit on the docks, with your feet in the water, gazing at the horizon and watching the boats go by, all while losing yourself in your thoughts.

This beach is okay, but the kite surfers definitely need to do more to respect swimmers and stay far away from the swimming area. A kite belonging to an experienced surfer slammed down directly in the middle of the swimming area with a ton of force when my 6 year old was out swimming. Luckily it and the cables missed him or it would have been life changing for my little boy and potentially others who were using the beach. IMO there needs to be more formality and enforcement of bylaws to augment the self-imposed kite surfing "guidelines" for this beach. In lieu of this, all I can say is be careful if there are kite surfers out when you or your kids are swimming at this beach, or just find somewhere else to go and avoid the risk.

Lovely park and amenities. Great place for a half day adventure or in the summer heat pick up the BBQ and find a shady spot to setup. I appreciated the double playground for different age children. The parking was copious and the recently renovated restaurant is available for food surface. Washroom and change rooms available. Sandy beach was clean.

Expansive waterfront park with modern playgrounds, picnic tables, summer co certs and activities, a beach with lifeguards, bike path, tobbogan slopes in winter, next to a marina, boat launch and restauant. Walking distance to the historic downtown of Aylmer.

Very nice park by the river. Very popular with young families. There were many people both young and old walking and playing in the park. There is long walkway along the river with children's play area and picnic areas.

Definitely one of our favorite places from April to the end of October ... we go there every week. (Original) Que ce soit pour aller voir les canards, admirer les bateaux et couché de soleil, prendre un verre et une bouchée sur la terrasse du resto, aller à la plage, faire un pique-nique, jouer dans les structures du parc des cèdres, se détendre près de la fontaine au parc de l'imaginaire ou faire un tour de vélo sur la piste cyclable qui longe la rivière, tout le monde y trouve son compte. Définitivement un de nos endroits préféré d'avril à fin octobre... nous y allons à toutes les semaines.
