My family went on the Ottawa River: Historic Sightseeing Cruise Had a good time the young man really knows his info and in English and french good job . But they said the 75mins but it was only 45min and the cost of anything to eat was way to much .. Basic hotdog 3.50.Ring pops for the kids is 1.25 each .. So please stop at the doller tree and pick up 5 or more for 1.25. For the price per person was great $26.00and kids under 4 r free that was nice.

This park is essentially a larger open field. It gets used about once during the summer for the Montgolfier hot air balloon festival. It looks like it would be a great place to fly your RC planes or "drones" as quadcopters and the like are called these days, but I don't know whether it's permissible to do that here. If you want to talk a walk/jog or walk your dog in a big open field, this is the place. It's adjacent to Gatineau's newly developed Ottawa River recreational development.

One of the best spot in gatineau to have a walk, picnic or just enjoying the view. The place as many table and chairs if you want to read a book or eat with your friend by the water. The city invest a lot in this park to make it safe and cute for the tourist. Just be aware, on the weekend it's crowded by cyclists and runner. Try it on a weekdays if you want some quiet time.

Very accessible and well managed. The facilities are not lacking anything but the park specialize in anything. Although it is a great location for casual visits. Local events are usually a hit or miss but you can have a good time if you get creative (or have a big group).

The park itself has nothing special really. But Jacques Cartier street is beautiful. There are marinas, bike/walking path and lots of sitting areas to enjoy a lunch and the view. There are also a selection or restaurants and cafés and a food truck. The only issue is that you have to share the path with the cyclists. Keep in mind that not all of them slow down or have bells to warn you that they are passing. So try to keep to one side of the path.

A nice walk along the river. The pathway is shared by walkers and cyclists so you have to be careful. Not once during my 3km walk, did any of the many cyclists that came up from behind ring their bell.
