This Park corresponds to the category of Park.
Beautiful Mosaic, must see
Amazing
Beautiful park with great views of Ottawa skyline.
Great place to visit, there was a garden event and was very busy. There was a huge line up but we did not wait too long.
Nice place to exercise and walk with your friends or by yourself!
Calm beautiful park, great to do picnic, relax or go for a walk, you can rent a bicycle in summer.
Great fun! Free hot chocolate from Timmies helps with waiting in lines...
An extremely beautiful place with tons of eye-catching flowers.
Amazing! Place of many activities, great for family, pest recommended!
Best spot in city to watch fireworks on normal Canada. Today it was cancelled as usual but they had independent groups that did Quebec vs Ottawa and they didn't disappoint. Well done gentleman and ladies. Well done indeed. If I came prepared and didn't just have my horrible phone camera this review would definitely be accompanied with some pictures but don't hate on the guy cus he chose to carry beers on the bridge instead. Happy Canada Day everyone!!!!!!
Bike path east and west both great. Parking details easy to follow.
Beautiful sculptures!! Just amazing...i can't even imagine the work that must go into this
Great view of the Parliament Hill and the market.
Stunning art work with the gardens
Great parking always hosting major events for Ottawa 2017
Dont go by the photos of this park .. that's exactly what we did. Perhaps the photos are temporary installation
Beautiful park. Went there for the MosaiCanada exposition running until Fall 2017. Well worth it!
Loved sitting by this legend of a man!
Nice view. Quiet and peaceful for a walk
A beautiful place to walk, sit, cycle, or take a boat tour from. We enjoyed our visit. There's just a bit of construction going on now.
During the tulip festival
Amazing views of the city. Visited for Winterlude 2020 - awesome! Best winter experience we've had as a family. Already planning our return for 2021
Very lovely park. :)
The place is beautiful. The sculptures are well-made. I enjoyed my time here.
With all the grass fenced off it's a bit more complicated for beautiful pictures.
Winterlude has some great winter sculptures built and tubing so it was a cool night out.
Went fishing here with my brother in law. Although we did not catch anything, we saw some monsters jumping out of the water. And the geese were enjoyable to watch as well. Parents were fighting over each other's children. Will go back here again in hopes to catch one of those monsters.
This post should read - Mosaiculture It is an amazing experience, worth every cent. A must see attraction. You won't believe what they've done with plants and the ambiance is great.
Walked across the footbridge from Ottawa to see the sculpture garden. Huge lineup but it moved well and took 15 minutes to get in. Beautiful horticultural display where Canadiana is interpreted. Anne of Green Gables, the Gold Rush, Haida animals, the Canada/Russia hockey game to name a few. Mother Earth is the grand finale.
Nice grand spa e for phonics and gatherings with social distancing space.
Beautiful park. Visited during the summer and winter and they hold great family events. Parking is usually available nearby.
Beautiful park with great views of the Ottawa river and Ottawa downtown core!
Fantastic family venue especially for kids.
I am so glad my wife convinced me to come. It was a good experience seeing this artistic garden with a lot of history behind it. Take your family and enjoy a lovely Sunday afternoon.
Great in Winter and for Winterlude. The park near the Alexandra bridge itself isn't utilized well for spring to fall however.
An amazing place to visit
Great park to explore. Beautiful place to go for a walk.
Beautiful sunsets and sunrises, good safe area. Great spot for fishing.
Beautiful designs and exquisite statues made of grass... a nice walk with the family for free... good areas for sitting and enjoying your day if u bring your own food with you... and they have a small ice cream shop in one of the oldest houses in that area ;) (renovated to its original form)... enjoy!
My favorite park in Ottawa. Spring and fall bring the best mushroom harvest in Ottawa. Relax with whitetail deer. Wild Turkey everywhere. The biggest Alqonqin sediment in Canada. Great carp fishing. And a spitaculer wooden ship wreck.
Dog friendly and very beautiful maintained paths. Great for biking too!
The hortultural scuptures are amazi g
I feel the Gatineau side of the Ottawa River doesn’t get as much recognition as Ottawa. The views are actually better from this perspective due to being able to see the skyline of Ottawa. Jacques Cartier Park is a great space for that. Lately though it’s been off limits due to the maintenance requirements. Once open again it will be a pleasant space to enjoy and take in the environment. ????☺️
Very well kept park, spacious, good parking.
Restoring the parks grass and habitat, but lovely place for walking.
A small oasis in the city. I went for their floral arrangement celebrating the 150 anniversary and it was gorgeous! All provinces were represented as well as China and may be some other country I do not recall. The creativity and details of the pieces was outstanding! I hope they will organize something like that next Summer! Great for kids and adults!
Wow... incredible trees and flower sculptures... just minutes away from Ottawa
One of the best attractions around Downtown Ottawa for families.
Amazing ????????????????????
Great gardens. Lots of amazing sculptures made from living plants
Beautiful park and amazing natural sculptures. Lots of options to eat around there. Be ready to speak French
Beautiful, with beautiful people.
Nice to visit during the summer days! Lots of green to enjoy.
it is not a botanical garden
Visited the Living Sculptures here recently. Amazing how much work has gone into them. Worth the hassle finding parking!
Big spaces, free parking for 2h and picnic tables!
PARK'S name commemorates the name of an early leader of French colonial imperialists set on looting and plundering for the glory and swelling coffers of the motherland... For aboriginal peoples, it was the beginning of a centuries long nightmare which continues...
#Winterlude
This park is a must go. You will love to walk, see the sculptures while listen to the sound coming from them.
A beautiful park which has something to offer regardless of the season. Friendly atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge sometimes.
In the summer, this place is beautiful. Lots of flowers and greenery made into various large statues, etc. In the fall, the changing colour of the trees is beautiful, in the winter, the park changes to large snow slides and sculptures for Winterlude celebrations. In the spring, there is not much to do in park except watch the big chunks of ice flow down the river, provided that the river isn't flooding the park, which was the case in 2017 and 2019.
Great park for afternoon or weekend walks. The winter and summer events are awesome!
Lovely huge ice sculptures, good photo spots and great play spots for children as well. Really enjoyed delicious beaver tails and hot chocolate along side some nice live music. Recommended visit for those looking for good outdoor activities during winters.
I went here during the Canada 150 Mosaic event. It was a very nice park to just take your time and walk through. The only downside was parking was a bit pricey.
Very big park. So we rented bikes at $5 each for the day (until 4:30pm). Then rode them to see the bountiful display of flowers made in Canadian images from different provinces and the Chinese. It's the 150 years Canadian Anniversary. What an art! It's wheel chair and stroller accessible, I believe.
What a fun time! For the kids and for the adult kids as well!
The Canada 150 exhibit was really great!
What a cool place to check out, great for a family outing. Check the hours before you go.
Went to the park to attend Winterlude 2020. They doubled the size of the zip line, both height and length of it!! Had a great time sipping hot chocolate and ate Beaver tales!
I love this place. It was my first time in Ottawa and I’m glad I have been there. I have never seen anything like this before. The arts were so realistic and interesting. They combined culture and mix them into beautiful art pieces. Appreciate the founder of the Jacques Cartier Park.
Beautiful park.
We had a ton of fun at our first winterlude! So much to do and the park was beautiful. We loved the snow sculptures.
Best place for nature loving people. A place which gives peace of mind. Work as eye coolant for flower lovers.
Quiet. Gorgeous views of the river. Lovely walking paths and routes. Connected to many other riverside parks. It's a perfect location for relaxing or having a picnic with the family.
I just absolutely love this park this time of year! A nice walk across the bridge and through the park makes for a great day especially if you've got kids and live on an apartment building or have minimal space for kids to play at home!
Amazing place . There are so many tourist places around the world. Only some places will always register in our mind and still there be in our gallery or Dp to cherish the moment . definitely this place will be one of those. The concept of mother earth and the future extinct animal was really amazing. The photos shown are very less , it will be more beautiful and colourful in your eyes.
It's an amazing park but most of it is fenced to grow the grass. Still good for photos and for walks or bike rides...
It's incredible to see different plants arranged in floral masterpieces. Fun activity for the whole family to experience!
Worth every penny.
Amazing scenery! However the food and drink choices are quite limited and expensive, but I think it's well worth the free excursion.
No statues there right now, huge let down when we got there and tried to find them but the whole area is under construction. Don't bother going if thats the reason.
Beautiful exhibition. All made of plants! The attention to details is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, it's closed now.
I went there to see the flower sculptures on 6th sep 2021 but didn't find any. Not even the frames...!! I guess the pics uploaded by others on google are from couple of years back.
Winterlude activities were great fun!
Currently hosting MOSAICANADA 150 until Oct. 2017 (7 days a week).
Very Beautiful Park in Gatineau. Across the OTTAWA River. Beautiful walk on the Alexandra Bridge. Just to your right. Use the Street Crossing Lights for a Safer Walk. The Canadian Museum of History is to the left. The Canada 150 Floral exhibition is over. While there for the Canadian Tulip Festival May 19 it was still fenced but did manage to get in to see the Tulips which was a sea of colour Not sure what the plans are for planting this year 19, maybe grass or having the space return to Nature. Amazing Green Space for a casual walk near the Water. Once the River has resided. Looking forward to the Fall. Great space for a Boot camp, running, yoga or just a picnic.
lovely park, home of the Einterlude for Gatineau-Hull and many other seasonal recreation ... photos were taken during MosaiCanada 2017 event
#winterlude TONS of fun!
Winterlude festival
Very beautiful and interesting but kind of expensive!! No food, drinks, or pets are allowed.
Beautiful clean park but finding a parking space can be a pain, then again we were there at a very busy period during the exhibition
The views are amazing, spent about an hour here. But there were no sculptures which I think were removed because of the floods in Ottawa river. And ideal place for trailing by foot or bicycle.
Nice but under re-construction
Beautiful
Winter is always fun in canada . Please ignore this person ???? # Winterlude Festival 2019
Mosaïcultures was spectacular.
Beautiful park with a riverside view
Lots of fun to be had but it is a shame that the parking there is so poor.
Beautiful! We love going around 9 or 10pm and walking down to where the boats stop. When there's a full moon it's an amazing place to take photos and there are benches by the water so you can just relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Anytime we've gone we have only seen a couple people just enjoying the view as we were. Great place to walk off a big restaurant meal!
Nice to have good time there with friends/ family
Magnificent place for children to play with snow games
The wildlife, vegetation make me so close to nature ; the charming bank of river offer you a gorgeous view of the capital city, especially on the Canada Day!
One off the most relaxing walk I have done. The view off the river from the other side is amazing.
A dream
Park is decent but there not flower sculptures…photos on google seems pretty old… If you are tourist and wanted to see the sculptures…don’t bother..
Winterlude Feb 2018
Very disappointed not with the park but with Google because they gave me out of date information. The park is CLOSED and I guess it's been closed for months since they are doing a massive construction project. If you are going there double check first I think it's not going to reopen any time soon, maybe for 2021.
Great Park view and outside activities!
A must visit this summer
The living sculptures were amazing! There were great walking trails and lots of places to relax by the water. Every so often there were booths that sold snack/drinks which were needed on the hot summer day. We would happily go back.
Great living sculptures!
Awesome place with a scenic view of the parliament and the Alexandria Bridge, big parking, great place to come for a walk around sunset hours ????????????????
A family friendly park just across the river in Gatineau. There are always activities happening and the last time we were there they had a topiary exhibit. Really nice.
Nice park this year with the living garden.
It is amazing place.
Beautiful display of art!
Beautiful park. Clean. Nice view of the water and sail boats. Very lovely and a hot spot for biking.
Disappointed. The magical garden you see on Google are no longer in this park. They were already taken down last year. We were disappointed; we really thought it was still there cause of the google photos that were posted. According to the lovely couple who told us this piece of information, the garden show is now in Montreal. However, this is still a nice park for a walk or to ride a ride. And there’s this nice view of the bridge by the water. Good enough for an instagram post! There’s also a boat tour available. Parking is a little hard to find, and quite expensive.
Under Alexander Bridge and close to Ports, it's a nice place for fun and relaxation
Nice view of parliament and currently a nice exhibit of Canadian history made out of bushes and plants.
Stunning display a must see ????
Large and beautiful waterfront park with some wildlife. We visited it at the beginning of June when the installation with flower sculptures wasn’t opened yet. But it was interesting to look at these sculptures being made. I liked Canadian flower sculptures more than the similar ones in Dubai.
Who made this was an amazing place that was a display of mosia Canada here this time and we went to see this place. It was well decorated and was stunningly guard sculptures from the plants and flowers which would just blow your mind. in general the spark is really good for walks or taking your dog, or even biking. This is not a really big part but you can spend good quality time along the river and in the park I would definitely recommend going here.
A beautiful park in the heart of the capital.
Lovely day walking around the park. The MosaiCanada exhibit was on and the statutes were wonderful
Nice place to take a walk. Literally nature two steps away from the city.
That really was a pleasant experiment of being in a beautiful nature with so many people in our lovely home, Canada.
Amazing giant plant sculptures for Canada's 150th celebration!
So much fun for adults and children.
Extremely beautiful and well maintained
Visited on a insane hot day. Wouldn’t spend hours here but it’s a neat place.
First time we visited in the summer (we have been for Winterlude) ... The reason for our visit this time was for MOSAÏCANADA 150. It was spectacular. We had parked in Ottawa as we were spending the day downtown and it was nice day so we walked across the Macdonald Cartier Bridge. It was a fantastic presentation with Free admission.
This is a must see if you are around. Charge your phones to the max and even take a power bank with you. It is definitely worth the admission and the parking fee that you'll pay. Leave a half day to visit this park otherwise you won't be able to make the most out of it.
Great place to walk and spend time with your family
Great events for the family
Beautiful setting and green space accross the Ottawa River and the Parliament Buildings. Simply a gem in our Nation's Capital Region.
Large open space, along the Quebec side of the river. While we visited the Mosaicanada was showing.
Was an amazing experience. Will definitely go again.
Beautiful Place
After seeing the photos we really liked it and wanted to have some good experience. But after seeing the place we really disappointed because there are no sculptures. I think those were made for some event and then removed after that. Park is great for walkers and readers who enjoy silence.
Beautiful place! Attended the mosaïcanada festival and 100% recommend it.
Had a great time at Winterlude. The slides are great this year. There are only the tubing slides this year so might not be as fast as the ice covered last year but still awesome. There is only one slide zone so no mini one for the little ones. The slides are the central piece of the new location. I also saw there was no maze this year, so missing that part of the event.
Great park, great view of the parliament!
Great view and awesome place to spend some time....
Good place to walk mostly for families. Kids slippery playing. There is a place to eat. Some big snow scultures no more to see but huge snow field.
First time in Gatineau and a first for Winterlude! Amazing park space with multiple events taking place. Fun and laughs for everyone!
Got to see the show art in Jacques-Cartier Park tonight. How gorgeous!
Beautiful place
If you haven't seen the Sculptures made of all natural living greenery, then go quick! I likely will not be there for 2018
Wow... Beautiful structure of different shapes of people's and animals that was far beyond our thoughts. All design were made with green natural plants and grass. I recommend whosoever visit Ottawa never miss this wonderful place to visit.
I saw la Mosaic Canada! I was amazing! Crowed but clean. Parking is tricky.
Best park. Please must visit. Very beautiful flowers and plants
Simply, is a Beautiful Place, transports you to another world, fascinating, love it☆
The park grounds and pathways are well maintained, and the scenery is great. The topiaries, while impressive, definitely looked worse for wear in 2018. Several of them were even completely barren and deconstructed. There could definitely be better care to maintain the beauty of these structures, but it clearly is a difficult task. Nonetheless, it's still worth visiting as a nice tourist attraction.
No more gardens. Pretty dissapointed. Still a picturesque location.
Very fun activities. Especially with this super nice weather of the year
There is no art work as displayed in Google images
I was sad , wanted to see the flower subcultures and they were ropped off , however the park was still beautiful
First time visiting this park for MosaiCanada and the sculptures were beautiful. Very nice walking trails, clean and a gorgeous place to just hang out and take pictures. Had water and ice cream stands conveniently located throughout the park. Would recommend going earlier in the day, as it got extremely busy by 3PM. Parking available beside the park, but you can also park along the streets or at the Canadian Museum of History (~5 min walk from park)
Beautiful sculptures and amazing experience!
Good one.
Was there for Mosaics Canada 150 topiary exhibit was awesome and free but you will likely have to pay to park nearby $10
In summer 2021 the park is under renovation after two years of the stupid Mosaiculture exhibit. The grass is completely fenced off and inaccessible. The grass looked great; supposedly the fences will be removed soon.
Free coffee and hot chocolate from Tim's.
Loved the views and activities.
Lots of green space and colorful trees at just minutes from downtown
Nice biking trail along the river.
Beautiful jewel in our capital
I am sure its beautiful but with stage 2 being reset, it was closed so you couldnt see anything. Very unfortunate
Sick place to hang out on a beautiful sunny spring day #slackline #420
It was the most beautiful place I had been to! The pictures tell more!
MosaïCanada 150 is a must visit. Free entry and open until October 15th. The sculptures are incredibly impressive.
Great green space with a breath-taking view of Ottawa skyline from across the river. They hosted Mosaicanada, a topiary event to mark Canada's 150, this year. Visited the park three times for that and had a great time on every visit. Just wish there were some coffee shops, etc., close by to allow you to grab some snacks and enjoy them at the Parc.
Beautiful place to spend time. You can hop on to a cruise and also trail. Parking is a bit expensive. They need more bathrooms there. Now they are working on it and you can see seasonal attractions there
Nicely trimmed Bush's abound!
It is nice to walk around the park and of course seeing the Maurice the rocket Richard statue. The statue is probably more of an attraction for older Habs fans, but being a diehard leafs fan, it is not as big of a deal for me lol. If you come here, make sure you walk around the waterfront to enjoy the view. The park is also known for special seasonal events as well.
Perfect! We arrived just when they were celebrating the 150 years so it was awesome.
An Amazing place to be , you can find parking in near by place if the main lot is full, we paid 10 bucks in a street close by. They do check the bags , front being anything glass other than they will check and let you in. You can take water and pop, also any food in plastic containers. Enjoy your time here it's well worth it.
Great place for family and kids.
Nice place to visit ????
Great family place to visit
Loved it!!!!!!! Awesome. Fantastic!!! A must see!!!
The photos on Google Maps are old. There is no attraction or tourist spot here. It's nice and beautiful, a very decent park - but not a place to visit as a tourist
Amazing Park, beautiful garden with incredible theme for mosaicanada 150, great view near the Ottawa river. Love it.
Nothing crazy, I guess it's good when you bike or run there.
Very nice and beautiful park
Beautiful place. Dont miss it in the summer.
Woweee. Still getting over the amazement. Beautiful. Creative. Never been to a place like this. Thumbs up.
During Winterlude, this park transforms into Snowflake Kingdom. Although there were lineups galore for the attractions, the kids had a great time playing in random piles of snow. We got here around 10:30 and decided to have Beaver Tails for breakfast to beat the lines, but there were still lineups! Crazy! Nevertheless, it was a fun experience.
Everything around the Parliament Hill area is world class. Well worth the walk around this area for some great monuments, views and architecture.
Really nice place to walk around with your family, and the special exhibit for the 150th of Canada was great
Went for Canada Day. Far better than being on the hill, only a couple of hundred well behaved families watching the fireworks with an incredible view. NO MOSQUITOS! There are food and drink vendors so you are able to enjoy your time. Stage was set up for musical entertainment. .. this is where it falls apart. There is so much great Canadian talent out there but there was no effort into pulling in any very talented artists for this big day. No. You don't need Famous names, but you need better than karaoke singers. When the fireworks start, turn off the terrible techno terrible music. The entertainment is at that time the fireworks, don't compete with that, let it be what it is.
Beautiful park
MosaïCanada was beautiful! Well laid out and not too long if you have kids.
Lots of construction going on there at the moment, but otherwise this is a nice park with awesome views to Ottawa river and the city.
Park is closed until Spring 2021. You can walk on Museum side but after Alexandra bridge pathways and park is closed off. No access to River path until MacDonald Cartier Bridge.
Absolutely beautiful! Worth going to check out if you have time!
Amazing natural looking & extremely decorated park. Nice place to go with family.
Beautiful park with a long cycling path. They have a nice bridge-like structure which is really nice to walk on. You get a great view of the entire city from here. Don't expect to see those statues, they built them for a show and they are long gone!
Nice park. Lots of space and parking. Might start bringing the grandkids there.
We attended Winterlude and it was a lot of fun. They had ice sculptures, snow sculptures, and huge sledding hills! The park is beautiful with an awesome view of Parliament Hill across the river. I highly suggest visiting this park.
Great Place for visit in Ottawa
Great little park. Often hosts special events.
Another beautiful park by NCC.
First time there rather disappointed. Extra long lineups. So we opted for FREE tobogganing in Orleans at Green creek hill. No lineups no crowds just fresh FREE fun.
1st time here. My kids loved it. Went on he beat cruise as well. Very informative and we all enjoyed it. Very family friendly
Wonderful place to visit and to take pictures. You will feel that you are in wonderland. History reformed by leaf and flowers telling stories about Canada
A lot of fun for the 40th Winterlude!
Fantastic View of the Parliment Buildings and clean beautiful spot.
Great location on the Ottawa river for summer and winter events. Before heading out check what is going on as events are temporary.
Nice winter event
We went and checked out the mosaic. It was amazing. I would recommend it to families.
Very nice and relaxing park! Plenty of space to walk or for bicycles!
What a lovely sculptures from plants and flower. Must see place.
Scenic Park overlooking the Ottawa river.check out the statue.
Totally awesome. Went a few times. Best things I'd since in years. Great job done. Amazing what they created with plants. Breath taking.
Mosaicanada150 is beautiful! Only downside of this venue is parking is hard to find.
Went to see MosiCanada this summer in the park. Excellent
The plant sculptures are amazing and it is free. A must go! They open at 10 in the morning and not a minute earlier and there is a huge line up at the gate by then. You have to go through security if you have a bag so skip the bag if you want to save time. Bathrooms are those construction sites/concert portable things. I haven't tried them so I do not know if they are kept clean but there are a number of them around. You also have to pay for parking unless you are lucky and find a spot on the streets around the park.
The garden that people are seeing on google is not there anymore. A lot of people come from different places in canada, drive down and it actually isn’t there anymore since COVID-19. So if you are coming for that garden art. It’s not there, it’s just a park
Loved the mosaic display for Canada 150!
Fantastic experience! Great fun for ther whole family. Was our first visit and we would all like to return at some point
No sculptures as in Google pictures, walk for about 2 hours and it was just a basic park. Was nice but just not what it was advertised as
Visited for Winterlude festival. Free slides, a lot of activities. We had fun.
Very beauty park. You can see there the bridge that separate Ontario to Quebec
very underwhelming Winterlude 2018 experience
Very nice place to take pets and children to see this statue and enjoy the great weather!
The mosaic garden was beautiful The volunteer guides did a really good job explaining all the different exhibits It was for Canada 150 so I'm not sure if they'll be here in 2018 but I did see a petition so they might
Great floral display great for a family outing and picture taking
You can see the craftsmanship put into these sculptures. Worth visiting and is a big tourist attraction. One of the best garden's I've been to.
Amazing display
Mosaiculture show 2018,
Nice place to have a good view to the Parliament from Gatineau. There is also a bike path that runs along the river that offers a nice view and biking path. Overall, would recommend having a walk or bike in that path for a nice view and cool breeze from the water
Nothing in there. Do not waste your time
Free parking on the north side of park and it’s only a 15min walk to get to south side!!
Thought there would be floral sculpture. Not there
Don't even bother going to this park the pictures that you see on the website they haven't been there for 2 years waste a time
Wonderful!! Ideal for families. Specially in winterlude.
We visited this park while passing through Ottawa/Gatineau. Beautiful park with a great view of the Parliament buildings.
I stop by the park today to take in the MosaiCulture exhibit, where they make sculptures and art displays out of various plants, flowers and grasses. Most of the displays had signs with works of literature or historic events which inspired the design. Some even had audio effects or music to go with them. It was absolutely fantastic, and I enjoyed it a great deal more than I even expected. A big shout out to the park for bringing in such a wonderful display.
Lots of fun
The best part of this park is probably the river front walk from the Alexandra Bridge to the King Edward Bridge. They've built a really nice boardwalk bridge which hangs over the river at some parts and provides awesome views of Parliament and the Ottawa skyline. After dark I'd probably avoid this place but daytime it's a great walk or jog from Ottawa.
Nice area but unfortunately most of the marina is gated off because they are either doing construction or landscaping.
Very beautiful floral sculptures... a must see for everyone ????
The Mosaic exhibit was amazing. So beautiful and very well set out.
Mosaic 150
Beautiful park. Love to come here with my dog. Nice path along the river when it's not submerged by the spring floods. The park itself has allot of goose doodoo. Aside from that, you get amazing views from here.
Winterlude was amazing! So much fun! The snow sculptures were spectacular!
Great for the whole family, wonderful things to see.
So pretty. Visited the park before 3rd phase was lifted. We enjoyed walking in these great park. Family friendly and the river is clean.
Winterland was great!!!
Nice views on parliament hill, great place to walk around
Peaceful serene and the river...perfect afternoon
Went here for the Canada 150 events and Winterlude. This is a great location for large events like the two mentioned above. Very spacious, good crowd control, decent parking and facilities. Four stars because trying to drive here and park during events like this are a nightmare. Better to take public transit, especially if it is free, like during winterlude.
It's a beautiful green space right on the Ottawa River. A stone's throw away from the Byward market.
Beautiful park with lots of events during winterlude
It shows the picture of a very beautiful Hedge. And even though I visited and it is a beautiful area, I certainly didn't see anything that looks like that picture
Nice biking trails but no garden sculptures unfortunately. Very disappointing as Google Maps portrays this area as an amazing tourist site. Unless you like goose-paloozas, this is not the tea sis.
This is a great place to be at. The park has so many big sculptures made of grass and plants. We were three in our family and we all thoroughly enjoyed being there for couple of hours. There is a parking right across the park. 2-3 hours are good to cover the whole exhibit in this park. I have never seen this type of amazing exhibit which interests all age group in a family. Best place to have some outstanding scenes for photography. Although entry ticket seems a bit pricey but definitely worth for this type of excellent exhibit. Overall enjoyed this place a lot!
Amazing nature based sculptures to celebrate 150.
Great views of the Parliament
This is a great place to be at. The park has so many big sculptures made of grass and plants. We were three in our family and we all thoroughly enjoyed being there for couple of hours. All the cool photos of green flowery sculptures are apparently from 2018. Now it's just an open field. Don't travel here for the sculptures. They don't exist.
No garden sculptures this year, very dissapointing. There is also some construction happening. Other than that, the park is decent and has a nice waterfront. 3 stars since its not as great as it was advertised in the years before.
Must go see! MosaïCanada 150. Beautiful exhibitions you will want to take lots of pictures. Its open until Oct 15,2017, so go now and see. Since we are starting to get colder weather and rain, a rain jacket (umbrella too) and warmer clothes is a good idea. Takes about 1h-2h to go over all the landscapes but depends if there's lots of people, as they will want to take lots of pictures too. There is no picnic area in the park so consider eating some place nearby. You can pay parking outside, or walk a couple of blocks to find street parking, either way its worth it, the entrance to the park is Free!
Great place for family all year around
Vere nice
Went here for Winterlude and had so much fun! I was amazed by the amount of work that was put into all of the displays and activities.
Amazing park in Gatineau!! It has fantastic views and is a great place to get outdoors and be active. Whether going for a stroll through the park or just sitting by the Ottawa River and watching the boats pass through. The park is very clean and is a great place to take your family. There is always a lot of things to see and do!
Really nice to visit. Be aware though they will keep any food at the front entrance. So you will need to leave your lunch if you do bring it for after. They also had some first Nations group sharing some song and dance. Very nice!
Beautiful park, loved Richard's statue, big Hockey fan and marina is small not too crowded, no bathroom here except for construction workers took over out house and even put a chain and lock around it ! Asked workers if I could use it and he said no only for workers!!
A very nice park
Great park , can be difficult to park near by. Has food trucks serving drinks and food . You can see it in one hour .
The place was barricaded and there was no sculptures that we see on pictures here. Totally disappointed
Beautiful garden sculptures for Canada's 150 years celebrations! Bathrooms conveniently located at several spots throughout the park, lemonade, ice cream and water stands. Free entrance. Go check it out!
Veryyyyy beatiiifulll!
Beautiful spot, lots of parking! Great place to spend an afternoon.
Google has not updated this attraction. The flower sculpture area has been closed for the last 2 years as we were told by the locals. A bit of a disappointment.
Seen the MosaïCanada 2017 Tribute show to help celebrate Canada turning 150 years old!!!! Its a miraculous place displaying all different Canadian things. Grab a snack & friends & camera & head out! Seen at Jacques's Cartier Park. Parking nearby. Staff awesome to help you with anything. Porta potties on site as well as being wheelchair accessible so all can go. Beautiful work check it out.
