Such a beautiful place to spend the day. Walk the boardwalk and walk the beach shore looking for shells. The water is warm and clear. A fabulous lighthouse and some lookout spots to enjoy. I could spend the day here on the beach with a picnic lunch for an amazing summer day.

Excellent place to go for many reasons. Get together like my visit today. Work BBQ. Plenty of Picnic tables plus washrooms. While there today I saw a wedding party taking pictures... as well as another group doing the same. If it's a group gathering or just a safe place to go for a walk or bike ride this is definately a very good place to go. There is also Handicap Parking for those interested.

What a gorgeous park with walking trails, marvelous trees and a few areas for pikniks and for kids to play. Real close to the splash park too if you want more playgrounds. Between both parks, you can spend a day in family there. Odell is very pretty and very well maintained. There is also a parking lot on the north side which is not very big, but should have plenty of parking spaces during the week days if you are on vacations.

One of my favourite places in town. Especially now that I have my drone! It's such a peaceful location in the middle of the city where you can hike, bike, and picnic on a nice day like today. It's also perfect for remaining physically distant, but not feel like it. There's an extensive trail system and some beautiful landscaping such as the pond and other flower gardens.

This is a beautiful park with large areas of untouched thick forest with excellent trails throughout. It also has a Botanical Gardens, kids playgrounds, open fields and lawns. Great for young and old. It takes over an hour to walk on the trails closest to the outside perimeter. The only negative is that there are dog owners with dogs off leash, in spite of all the warning signs, and many obviously do not pick up after their dogs.

Beautiful spot. How lucky we are to have access to this island! It’s a day park with lots of picnic sites, many with spectacular views. It’s worth the drive just to see the lighthouse, which is painted in the colours of the Acadian flag. The boardwalk could use some TLC. I’m sure that will be taken care of because everything else here is maintained with pride. Next time, I’ll go for a day and not just a quick visit.

This place is very close to my heart ❤. Every other day I went out for a walk in thus park and I just wanted to say that this place is very clean, natural beauty and well maintained. Enough space for family gathering and outdoor activities. You can park your car just before the entrance. There are many sitting places as well so that you can take rest if needed. Cycling ???? is one of the most popular rides in this park area. I recommend people to visit this beautiful place.

Spectacular area along the water. Great place for bird watching. Nice, easy trails along the beach head. Note: The boardwalk itself is closed as apparently deemed to be unsafe and this would appear evident as the boardwalk is literally "out of commission" in a few spots. Regardless, its a great place to visit and spend a couple hours. Bring your bug spray!

Such a wonderful, peaceful place, for either bringing your entire family or just your dog or just yourself to clear your head, It is beautiful in all seasons but I highly recommend the Fall season as it is very beautiful with all the leaves that are in the process of changing colors and also, faliing off the wonderful huge branches from the nice, big, park that is safe from Irving from being developped any further since it goes from downtown to uptown and then some, it is a protected park, some private land, some that university of New-Brunswick own and I hope they do not sell it/give in to big corporate dollars!!! Very quiet nd pleasent for any event!:)

Pleasantly surprised on our visit to the lake! It was a great day the water was refreshing there was lots of spots to choose and overall a great way to spend the afternoon. And to top it all off its free!

It is a lovely park with a beautiful setting right at the entrance with colorful flowers. This area is often used for photos be it for graduations to weddings and family photos. In the fall there is no better place to be for photos of the fall colors. It also has beautifully maintained walking trails through wooded areas.

Great walking paths. Trails could use a little more identification but a great wooded area in the city where you can walk in the summer, have picnics, even BBQ in the fire pits.

Fantastic old growth forest within easy walking distance of downtown Fredericton. Especially impressive is the 4-500 year old hemlock stand, the largest and oldest in the province.

We just rented the lodge for a baby shower at a very low reasonable hourly rate. The accommodations were great. Lots of room. . Great scenery. Beautiful large deck and plenty of chairs and tables. Great for any event. Has a kitchen ...which was very helpful. We all had a wonderful time and I recommend the lodge to anyone

Odell park is an amazing spot to get away from the hustle and bustle. Free! Spots to BBQ and a play park for the kids near the lower entrance. Botanical gardens at the top. Only complaint is I wish bikers would listen to the rules and stay off the woodchipped paths, makes for deep ruts and puddles when it rains. Great spot for picnics and exploring nature. Dogs on leash are welcome, I wouldn’t let them roam though... foxes and deer are hiding here. The best place in Fredericton!

Beautiful park. Groomed trails were very nice. I took a stroller on the groomed trails and it was nice, although there were some steep hills that were challenging. I'm giving it 4 stars because it would be better if the trails were marked and there was signage along the trails. Overall a great park and the fall is a gorgeous time to visit.

One of favorite places in town. The trails are a great escape from the city. Not sure how it's possible but you can easily forget that your in a city park once you head into the trail network! New parking lot is great even though the traffic directions are counter intuitive!
