A beautiful network of trails open year round for hiking, running or walking the family dog. You can cross-country ski or snowshoe on these same trails in the winter. The lake is small, but it’s a great place to cool off close to the city on a hot summer day. Ample parking and washroom facilities.

Good catch and release fishing. Smallmouth bass and catfish. Please keep your dog on a leash per signage.

Great place if you cant drive out to the ocean for some beach time. I dont like the sand around the lake though, it is not as soft as beach sand. It is almost like fine gravel..

A nice place to swim, fish and picnic. Picnic tables and parking. Lifeguards are on duty during day hours.

I always loved loved Killarney Lake but since becoming disabled I can NO longer enjoy the lake! Being in a wheelchair I can’t get near the water which I always enjoyed! When my children were small we spent many days all day there! Its just soooo sad that now I can’t! Wish the lake was accessible like the outdoor pools!!
