Perfect for a stroll in the park to view the vibrant fall colours. Currently no vehicle access as the park is closed for the season. Just park on the road and walk in.

Nice quiet campground. Stayed here for 5 days. Very clean and well taken care of. It's a very long walk/hike to the lake is the only complaint I have.

Campsite and outhouses were incredibly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Each site is very private and has good trees surrounding them, which makes it hard to see your neighbors. Firewood is $5 a bundle in cash, and each campsite has a fire pit and picnic table. Would definitely stop here again!

Great service, nice sites. 35' trailer didn't have many options and leveling was a little tough, but thats camping. Great site. Even had a doe and 3 fawns waiting for me in my site last night.

Very nice sites. Pretty flat with lots of room for your trailer. We have a 24' and still lots of room. Has Sani dump and water for $5. Bit of a twisty curvy hike to the lake with a slope and tons of roots in the ground and no real beach to sit on. 3km walk return. Would have given 5 stars if closer to the lake.

Main hiking trail goes along the shore of the lake. There are also three connection trails that lead from the campground on the west side of the park to the shore trail on the east side. The trail along the shore is fairly smooth so strollers and kids on bikes will have fun. Sometimes it's a little muddy in the dips. The trail on the north side of the campground is a good small hike, but the trail isn't wide and has a lot of uneven ground so don't take a stroller, wagon, etc.

Charlie Lake Store is delight for all the things you may need... from alcohol to zebra toys! Gasoline, prepared foods, canned goods and ice cream! All in one stop! Superb service from all staff there! Notably great service was Tate and Teaghan! Such friendly and helpful!! Great place to stop!!!

I love camping here with my family. My kids love the play area as well as the huge open space to run around in. There is some nice trails to walk, with some leading to the lake. The sites are treed in, private and nice. The campground itself is very clean and great place to camp.

The most fun i have ever had getting a dot inspection done we had fun during our time together he a taught me a thing or 2 and i taught him a thing or 2 i will go to the oark when it is open cant wait to go for fun and not for work related commercial vehicle inspections station

Part itself is great!! It was our luck to have very inconsiderate neighbors! Trying to fix their boat motor in the park was very rude!! Revving engine all day even when park officials asked them to stop. Then blared music until 4 am. We left early Sunday morning instead of Monday like we had paid for. Park officials need to monitor much better, we only saw 1 very young girl the whole weekend, not much of a detterent for the jerks that were there.

Pretty campground to stop at while traveling the Alaska highway. It's a bit close to the road so you can hear road noise but fairly quiet at night. Clean and well maintained by friendly park staff.

Really nice campground. Has large camping lots, and lots of trees and brush between spots giving you some privacy. It was very worth the $20 camping fee!

The campground was less than half full so it felt very peaceful and private. Some sites have a tent pad. The trail to the lake was too far for us to carry a toddler through buggy bush. For its namesake we expected to be closer to the lake.
