AmAzing scenic spot to hangover with family in Fort McMurray. Beautiful view of the forest with flowing river. People enjoy fishing. It has a play area for kids. More parking lots close to park as well to the river.

Enjoyed a sunny afternoon eating my Samolian takeout dinner watching the kids having fun in the playground and people walking barefoot in the grass. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and laughter. Canoes, and boats on the river. A great experience.

This place was a Fort McMurray Hot spot 5 years ago. They just kept chopping down the tree line. Now it’s just a open patch of hillside and a fancy boat ramp. They need more trees. A LOT MORE. Make it a park again!!!

VERY POOR DESIGN!!! Boat launch itself is beautiful. Nice place to tie your boat up after unloading. That's only WHEN the waters High. Was down there the other day. Nothing but rocks. Also very difficult to get to and from the boat. Should have some type of walkway or stairs. People with disabilities or small children would have extreme difficulty entering and exiting vessels at this location. With the money that was obviously spent here it's unreasonable that a few extra items were not added. Also the parking lot for trucks and Boat Trailers is always jammed with cars and people just hanging out. This parking lot should be designated vehicle with trailer only. Most of the time I can't even find a spot to park that is legal. Sure it's fine for people that don't have boats but isn't that what the boat launch is for?

I would like to thank the RMWB for building two beautiful beach volleyball courts. You guys did an amazing job. If you want to improve them even more, you could install nets around them or at least on one side so the ball doesn't fall down to the river. Thank you again ???? Well done!

A favorite hangout for the family, you can play on the park, walk down to the water, watch the boats come and go and if your lucky see a float plane take off.
