I've been in fort mac for 2 years now and this was the first time I've been there. It was nice. Walk path is a decent length, there's a good boat drop off/beach area. In all honesty there isn't much to do there other than walk around and maybe swim but it was still worth checking out!

Beautiful place to get out for some fresh air

This place is beautiful, and it's the location that my fiancé and I chose for our engagement photos! We've also enjoyed relaxing on the benches overlooking the pond, and it has the atmosphere of a place where you can feel both alone and surrounded by people. It's well, taken care of, and provides space to simply sit in nature's beauty. Do use sunscreen & mosquito repellent as the weather requires, though: mitigate the cost of being in nature ;)

Boreal Park is, in my opinion, the best park in town. Lots for the kids to do. There is a water park there and lots of playground equipment. Lots of open space for picnics or a game of frisbee. Go there, you won't regret it.

Beautiful walk along the river athabasca. Nice clean grass with multiple benches to sit when tired..there is also a new restaurant with a park and swings nearby for kids. Good ppace to spend a beautiful sunny weekend afternoon

Borealis Park is a cool spot for parents and children cool off especially, when the weather feels like we're in Spain or Africa. The best about it are the trees, and nice spots for picnicking and a shade. It is the best as far as I'm concerned.
