Be prepared with proper footwear, paths have some downhill , rocky, slippery slopes. The scenery and suspension bridge is worth the hike.

Spectacular views of the cliffs on one side and a lazy flowing river on the other. With the moon shining off the water and the quietness if nature, it was almost as if you were weightless as you close your eyes and listen while standing on the bridge. It was nearly dark when we arrived to the bridge so we only got to see the surroundings at dusk. But it was still very beautiful. It's not a far hike from the road either so it would make a nice family hike, with areas around the bridge where you could picnic or camp.

Excellent hike, can be up to 12 kilometers or a short 1.4 kilometers. Wonderful place to camp by the suspension bridge with an amazing view of the ocean. Multiple places for a small fire. And there is an excellent lagoon with a small waterfall that's great for swimming.

I loved the walk into the bridge, because it served as a little hike. I had kids with me so it took us much longer to get in there. The views are amazing, the waters, the hills and mountains, the slsteep slopes and forests all made a good combination. The bridge was scary especially with how i saw it shaking haha. My kids were running back and forth and they kept me on my toes, making sure they were safe. Took beautiful photos and enjoyed the evening sunset. Id definitely go back here, in a heart beat. Loved it all.

Beautiful park, beautiful sceneries and great employees servicing the park. Quiet during the night and pretty private areas available. The only negative for me is the outhouses, as I believe all parks should be fully serviced in 2021; but that’s the millennial in me. Great experience and I’ll definitely be back.

I love this park. The first time I took the kids camping was here. You have many trails, campsites, swimming spots, the suspension bridge to explore. Great for all seasons (camping in the summer, not available in the winter). But this is also a part of the East Coast Trail, so there are many connecting trails; you can hike as long as you like. I also find it is a pretty easy trail for all ages.

Amazing park and a hidden gem of Newfoundland. Even some of the locals didn't know about it when I mentioned it. The hike can be a little dangerous, so be cautious when walking and do not take any unnecessary risk.

La Manche Provincial Park has some really interesting walking trails in it. The suspension bridge over the river at the former community of La Manche is a must-see for anyone travelling in the area. Most of the former community has vanished, however there are some concrete foundations and steps still scattered about the area.

Great park and awesome views, esp Doctors Cove and suspension bridge. When trying to find the entrance, avoid the camping part of the park . The actual road is 1.6 KM down the road. Limited parking, rough road but worth the effort.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to have visited this place. It is majestic. It is beautiful. It is serene! The walk to the suspension bridge is not for the very young. It is certainly worth it. Just look at the pictures. It was a breathtaking experience. What I love about this place is how clean it is. I love that everyone who visits have respected this place and treated it as it should. I'll be sure to return again to revisit this majestic place.

Trail to the suspension bridge is 1.4km each way. The trail is mostly easy to navigate, with a steeper part closer to the bridge. Past the bridge the trail continues up stairs and gets steeper as you climb. Beautiful views! Parking available at start of trail.

Great camp grounds. Kids loved it. Nice small swimming area for the kids, great hiking (If camping here, allow 2-3 hours to hike to the La Manche Suspension Bridge, hang out for a bit, and hike back). Will definitely be going back.

Very remote. Beautiful. My father in law was born in this village. It was swept away by a storm and only ruins remain. It was a bustling fishing village. Incredible scenery and beauty. Worth the visit if you're in Newfoundland.

Myself and the family stayed here on Tuesday night for one night to start our Staycation 2020. The park, bathrooms, showers, and sites were very clean and comfortable. The best part about it was the staff. The young man on the check in desk was very friendly and we met two park rangers that went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. My boyfriend's truck had issues and they went out of their way to make sure we had the tools to fix it and that were set to be on our way for the rest of our Staycation. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back. P.S. - make sure to visit the Suspension Bridge. About a 20 minute hike. But worth it.

(Translated) A nice leisurely hike to the impressive Suspension Bridge. In wet conditions, you should wear good shoes, as the way goes over slippery stones. The "street" to the parking lot was in a really bad condition and should be repaired or marked as such. (Original) Eine schöne gemütliche Wanderung zur beeindruckenden Suspension Bridge. Bei nassen Verhältnissen sollte man gutes Schuhwerk anziehen, da der Weg über rutschige Steine geht. Die "Strasse" zum Parkplatz war jedoch in einem wirklich schlechten Zustand und sollte ausgebessert werden oder als solche markiert werden.
