You will see the feddbacks of real people who have information of the products and services of Marie Curtis Park (Park) in Etobicoke (Canada).
To this day this firm has a score of 4.5 stars over 5 and the score is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is basically the best, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the assessment is very credible. If many people have bothered to leave their review when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Park is included in the category of Park.
Stunning beauty in this park with a sand beach to walk on. Gorgeous willow trees. Beauty in the city. Great place to meditate and clear your mind in nature in the city.
Great place for a family get-together. Has got everything for everyone. Old and young will love this place equally. Only concern was limited parking spots.
Enjoyed this park, especially during our morning visit - right by the lake, beaches and grassy areas with a nice, but relatively short walking/cycling trail. - 1 star because the dog park is relatively small (although we’ll kept) and the path through the park is prone to inconsiderate cyclists. If you ride through here, just slow down a bit as there are limited sight-lines through the curves and slower traffic (strollers and elderly folks).
Familiar and nice park on Ontario lake shores. Wonderful at anytime or station of the year.
It was great places to visit with my family ????, it have the beaches you can swim and place for you to set up a spot for picnic, BBQ and water park with playground. It is small but have lots of fun things to do.
Beautiful park for families and kids with gorgeous sunset views and a beach ⛱ ????
The park itself is okay. The beach area is quite spacious enough, however social distance can be an issue when it gets packed with people during weekends and holidays. Lots of open space throughout the park for picnics. Lots of areas to ride your bikes. Parking is quite limited and the parking officers are always roaming around to ticket cars that are parking on the side of the road or areas that aren't for parking. So keep that in mind. I just wish there were more picnic tables throughout the park area but otherwise its just fine. ????????
Beautiful park open space Beach Field Play ground Kids swing Bike rental $4 hour or $7 for whole day Excellent sight seeing Small falls All in all good family picnic ❤????
Nice place to spend the weekend with family n friends...but beach need to maintained lil bit
Really nice close by beach. Parking was very limited and we got a parking ticket for 100 bucks and there was no sign. But besides the parking situation, it was a beautiful little beach.
One of the beat parks in Mississauga hands down! Beautiful, clean and lots of fun for kids. My only gripe is how busy it can get. It's just that popular!
The park has 2 open fields, picnic spots, paved path for walking/cycling, unpaved trails through forest area, a small sand beach with boardwalk and is connected to a dog park. Many aquatic birds.
Great park with 3 separate hiking trails, one boardwalk and a playground and splash pad for the kids. The park is very large and there is a lot to explore. Has beautiful fall colours right now too! Perfect for pictures or a picnic
Nice lake front park with good playground for kids. There are many picnic spots and tables for barbeque parties
Good place to go with the family. To enjoy the beach and the park.
You have several options to enjoy ... the park, the lake and trails for walking and cycling. Every family is welcome! I just think it's a little abandoned ... a lot of trash in the park and on the lake's sand, people could think about it before throwing their trash anywhere, let's take care!
Beautiful park. Wonderful amenities for little kids. Well-maintained. Parking on the east side is not plentiful but there is additional parking on the west side. Beautiful beaches and a lovely setting
a fantastic park, I loved it. barbecue, lots of space for children to play. But the water on the beach was very dirty... ????????
Great park to visit, especially early on a weekday. Not many people, lots of little areas if you wanna fish or have a picnic. They have bathrooms, splash pads and a little beach.
Wonderful small park. The Waterfront trail runs through here. Can get busy at times, but still large enough to hold everyone at a great distance. Nice waterfront to relax at.
It’s a beautiful park, very sad it’s full of garbage in many parts and it’s smell like feces, but I was able to find a spot and have a quiet time
A great park for kids! Little beach area. Splash pad area and wading pool. Playground with a climbing / play structure for toddlers/ little kids and one for older kids. Stroller friendly. Ample parking if you access the west side lot off of Lakeshore. Biking, blading, scooter Friendly.
Nice place to take dogies 2. Just be careful of Parking Enforcement officers; they are lurking in the bushes waiting to ticket you if you park in boat trailer parking area.
Nice little park, start to a long trail. Currently the beach is under construction.
Nice to relax a bit this summers 2021. Close to Toronto and have park, beach and also kids water area for fun. Its a good family and kids fun spot.
Quiet place to sit and gaze out at the lake , bring yr own chair
Large park with multiple beaches, grassy areas, and parking lots. Has a public boat launch too. The western-most beach is our favorite. Less busy and has a big shallow, sandy area for swimming. Newly installed (2021) beach volleyball courts look good, but you'll need to bring your own net. Pro tip: if parking is in short supply try the lot at the off leash dog park. It's free there too.
Beautiful place to go for a run, walk or spend time with family. Has a nice little beach and is in a quiet neighbourhood
Marie Curtis Park is a clean, nice place to visit along lakeshore. It would be awesome for the beach area to be more pet friendly as there are not too many areas for pet owners to take their pets to enjoy the lake, we frequent when we can and it’s nicely accessible for us.
We loved the trail. Great for family walks.
Just stopped for a few minutes and stayed for a couple hours. Nice small area and so much wildlife in the water. Ducks, Geese and just as I turned to leave a flock of 50 plus Geese flew in all at once. Great views and captures on camera. As soon as the huge flock of Geese decided to fly in and land in the water I got over 200 images. The public came over minutes later asking did you get images of that. Not seen up close very often and that many Geese arriving at once.
Massive yet gorgeous park located right on the shore of Lake Ontario. There are plenty of paved trails for cycling & walking (always keep to the right if you're walking and you'll be fine) as well as wooden trails for walking and mountain biking. The beach/shore and pier offer a view of the CN Tower and Toronto skyline in the distance, and there is also a fenced off-leash dog park for canine companions. PARKING: the lot can get filled rather quickly, so make sure you arrive early!
Went on a Saturday around 10am and left after 3pm. It was surprisingly not packed and was able to get an amazing parking spot. Few people here and there on the beach. The weather was great, perfect view of the CN tower. Unfortunately on the farthest right of the beach there is massive construction which ruins the overall visual appeal of Marie Curtis Park. There are two piers and a bridge perfect for picture taking. Lots of trails and biking opportunities. Left side of the park there is a splash pad, washrooms and if you are lucky an ice cream truck. However there were lots of people on this side and social distancing was not really being maintained.
Good but very crowded on a Sunday afternoon. However the waterfront trail starts here. You don't have the actual trail here but start walking from here to enjoy the trail.
Running with lake:) There’s a playground. kid friendly, pet friendly~Go train nearby.
Pretty place and nice little store with inexpensive food and drinks
Great place for family and anyone really.
Beautiful family spot, or to meet for a walk or e en coffee date. Waterfront is pretty but water is dirty. Great for walks and bike riding.
Beautiful park all year round!
Amazing beach, great for picnic and to bring young children
Great park, wonderful place to see ducks and ducklings. As is true of all the waterside parks there is the usual shortage of parking particularly on holiday weekends or other such peak times. Otherwise no complaints.
Great park for little kids or a family picnic. My favourite is the splash pad.
Quite and peaceful ful place . Clean beach.
Highlights: Waterfront: Yes Good For Children & Family: Yes Restrooms: Available Parking: Available | Free Street Food: Ice Cream Truck Another beautiful park and trail for a long weekend walk. Perfect spot for a family picnic and for kids. Next to the waterfront beach, has public restrooms and free parking! Though spots are limited, you may not find a spot over weekend since its crowded. There is usually a ice cream truck in the parking lot for a scoop to end the picnic or walk. Also, is a nearby a share a ride cycle stand to rent a bike if you want to do a cycle ride here or ride to a nearby sub station. Totally Recommended. Enjoy!
4.5 star. Stroller friendly, with lots to do and see. Cycles are available for rent. Be careful of over enthusiastic cyclists while walking. Generally a happy place to be.
Great park with a lovely view. There are many things you can do there from fishing, walking, playing in the water, riding your bike, etc. There are plenty of parking as well. Beautiful location to take pictures at.
Absolutely love that this place is in my backyard. It’s peaceful, relaxing, plenty of parking and fairly clean. There’s some construction going on on the east side so hopefully it’ll be better by next summer.
Amazing park the beach was kinda dirty on the far right end of the beach so didn't get to swim but just sitting so close to the water and having not many people around was a great spot ! Highly recommend coming to this park they always have ice cream trucks during summer times !
Come here a lot, staycation destination, child friendly, great walking and biking paths.
Very nice park with beach and lots of trees. Perfect for picnics. They have a nice splash pads for babies.
This place can get pretty crowded real quick. If you have plans to drive to this park, ensure that you come early. Also a lot of people have little or no regards for cleanliness and littering is rampant. Besides that, the beach is ideal for young children.
Beautiful park. Great for a walk or bbq and amazing park and water sprinklers for the kids
Great place to visit with family or friends.
The park area very huge great for family picnic, lot of fun and lot of active
The new beach volleyball courts are nice and right next to the waters to take a dip if needed.
Great place for walking on the small beach or boardwalk, biking, picnic even a little BBQ you can also cross over the small bridge to the other side, there's a nice playground for the kids and clean washrooms nearby the beach area.
Did not find this park as great as other lake shore park. Not maintained very well, lots of bushes and weeds here n there. Kids splash pad and play area is good though.
The park is a lot bigger than I expected. There are two beach sections but one part appears to be covered in sticks and was not cleaned like the other part of the beach. Live the bike/walking path. Safe park, great open space. I'm not from the area but if I happen to be I'd definitely come by again. Parking is pretty limited. Not sure if they closed the other lot which is a lot bigger but when I went today March 10th, 2021 only the smaller lot was open. Holds about 50 cars.
Love walking down by the beach every morning. Amazing way to start the day!
The beach area was closed due to construction work but undoubtedly the place is worth a visit.
One of my fave places for a nice walk.
Great park by the beach with playgrounds and pic nic tables
Terrific green space in the city with a great bike trail and other great options to be enjoyed. If you have a boat, jet skis etc...bring them here and let loose on Lake Ontario. Have kids, there's a great splash pad adorned with adorandak chairs, umbrellas, picnic tables and an ice cream truck to make it all better.
Beautiful beach and park. Peaceful and clean. ♥️
Perfect spot for enjoying the Lakeview - nice big beach - and lots of spaces to social distance - I really enjoyed it
Amazing spot for the family... splash pad, boat launch, sand beach, fishing, parks and an great view. Opening volleyball courts soon, or use the path and go for a journey..
Great park. Easy access to local trails, large splash pad, and the lake. Lots of shades areas perfect for picnicking or having a small outdoor event. Many people arent aware of the second parking lot - just past the traffic lights you can find additional free parking!
Nice west-end park, with swimmable beach and snack bar. About a 10 minute walk from the Long Branch TTC loop, which serves buses from Islington station, the Queen streetcar, and Mississauga mi-way buses.
Lots of construction going on at the boardwalk, but surely for the better. I like that it has a snack bar, decent beach, security, and a pretty great kids park. Disappointing that the wading pool stops operating before 4. Would be nice to bring my kid but does not operate outside of work hours. Weekends here are brutal! You will probably have to park in the neighborhood streets and walk awhile to get there and super crowded.
A beautiful park in Etobicoke with a small sand & rock mix beach facing Lake Ontario. On duty Lifeguard! The park has something for anyone who wants to visit - trail, abundant green area, lake, reasonable splash & swings area for the kids. PARKING is a PAIN...relatively small parking lot for a big park
Really loved this place have everything to be a great park for people of all ages. Splash pad and rides for kids and then small beach and beautiful park.
Such a great park that offers a playscape and splash pad for kids, trails for walking or biking, beach area and an off-leash dog park. Parking is free, although limited so do check out the street parking or arrive early (especially on weekends). Such a beautiful gem in the city with views of the CN Tower.
Good parking lot of greenery, rides , BBQ places and sand beach ..Makes it perfect for families with young kids to have good quality time.
Lots to do here! Fishing, playground, open space for running around, beach waterfront, river access, picnic and splash pad. Just a little bit stinky at times, but that's Toronto waterfront for you! We love biking here as well, is connected all along the Waterfront Trail.
I've been going here on hot summer days since I was in high school. Now I take my kids. It's a beautiful little spot hidden away in the city. Nice little beach area and a mini grill that serves BBQ style food and drinks. Ice cream trucks are always there and usually they have a lifeguard on site.
Great place for biking. There are bike trails throughout the wooded area, and some ramps and jumps in the forest for biking. Also the beach is nice if the pollution is low, and it's not overly crowded. They are doing some major construction on the East side near the water front.
Great place to visit Truly recommended
Such a beautiful, relatively quiet spot for picnics and family gatherings, or to simply take a walk. The thin strip of beach means you don't have to go to densely occupied spots in the city to catch some sand, sun, and a swim. These pictures were taken in March.
Great park for all ages and interests. Playground with splash zone and sand pit for children. Lovely shaded areas for picnics. Trails for walking, jogging or cycling. Lengthy beach, board walk and boat launch for easy access to the lake.
I give it only three because at the dog park there's no access to water for your pet. It's nice to walk, to look at beach from the path is nice, up close not so much, water is dirty at the edge. But it's a beautiful walk
Beautiful spacious park for summer fun with the whole family. Vast open spaces, great track for jog, walk, or cycling, can spend the whole day here and enjoy a family cook out. And the best part: THE BEACH. You dont have to travel to far away places to have some beach fun, it's right here in the city at this park.
Awesome shoreline lots of trails up etobicoke creek
Great park with lots of space for picnic setup, a beach, playground, and a splash pad. If the parking is full you can park in the nearby streets and walk to the park
Pros: It's a good place to go for a day out with friends and family. The area is huge and lots of different sections. Lot of greenery and lake side is good. Nice splash pad is there, children can enjoy it. Cons: Washrooms are pretty bad in shape and looks like none cleaned it for very long time. The land is very uneven. Manhole are in the middle somewhere, which is not safe. Parking seemed a little less compared to the size of the park.
Perfect for weekend or any other day. If you go for a picnic, clean up after yourself. A good plan to follow is to make sure you take everything you brought with you back home. When you leave the site, it needs to look like it did when you came in.
Awesome park. Great playground and splash pad area. Bridge overlooking the Etobicoke Creek is popular with hobby fishing. There is a sandy beach section. Lots.of room for picnics. Saw some cool classic cars in one of the parking lots where there was a careet up. Seemed like a well equipped well used park. Did not feel unsafe or sketchy. Washrooms and parking in park. Walking paths through the park and Riverside.
Beautiful beach and park perfect for family fun.
Beautiful to come watch the sunrise & sunsets ❤
Great place for kids, sit & view sailing boats. Fresh rooms were not so clean. Have your barbecue.
This park has something to offer for everyone. There are groups of picnic tables for celebrations; there are bike trails running east and west for kilometres; there is a beach staffed with lifeguards, sure if you come on the wrong day there is algae floating in the water but most days it's a great local beach; there is a snack bar with shwarma, coffee, pop and water, open around 11 a.m. or so. There is a small parking lot off 42nd Street and a larger one down an unmarked driveway across from a car wash on Lakeshore.
Beautiful place to take a stroll or sit and watch nature.
It has it all. Great family park close to the lake with a walking and bike trail close by. Free parking kids play ground. It’s perfect. Under some construction right now but it’s still usable.
Great Place for Evening walk and picnics . Little Beach area and nice playground and splash pad for kids .
My favourite place to go for walk, chill, picnic, yoga, cycling, outdoor grill event. I just love this place and the vibe.
New additions are currently underway to make this an even more family friendly beach and park. If you like laying in the sun, splashing in the water, enjoying a family picnic under the trees or hiking the trails you will love Marie Curtis Park
This such a great beach and a wonderful splash. Besides, playground for children. In addition, quiet place for BBQ.
Beautiful park! Plenty of space for fishing. The pier is accessible to all.
It's a great park with the best of both worlds, a beach and green space. During the week it's quiet and not crowded but on the weekends it's packed. Police presence is pretty common. They do give tickets if you park illegally even if there's no space, so don't risk it.
If you're looking for a place to walk your dog this is the place Marley and I enjoy this place like no other it's the safest place I could toss the ball with her
For all my writer's and content freelancers ...welcome to a great spot for inspiration in nature.
beach clean, water clear, kids love it, dog friendly. beautiful to enjoy on a hot summer day. DON'T FORGET BUG REPELLENT.
Great spot , wasn't too busy. Parking no problem. Cycling track was a bonus. Fun day
Good park with play ground and splash.
Lovely park with lots of open green space and a beautiful beach. It's a bit rocky and water isn't very clean. Parking is free and gets full quickly.
I am glad I went there. Pretty close to GTA. I wanted to enjoy a nice sunny day at beach ????️ and didn't want to drive 2 or 3 hours just to explore sun and sand. This beach is not the prettiest or the cleanest but it still really nice to spend all day with kids. There was an Ice Cream ???? truck too. My daughter loved playing with sand and water. ???? There were lot of seagals looking for food.
VERY SPACIOUS CLEAN DECENT PEOPLE ARPUND & LOTS OF PARKS * BEACHES TO CHOOSE * DOG FRIENDLY THE ONLY COMPLAINT NOT ENOUGH OR ANY GARBAGE & RECYCLE BINS NOT OF PUBLIC BATHROOMS DIDN'T SEEM TO SEE ANY EITHER THEN THAT I GO BACK WITH MY DOG * MY FRIEND ????????????
It's a good park for a family picnic. Splash pad for kids, lovely beach and plenty of space for BBQ.
Beautiful place, but be ready for the crowd.
Nice park nice trails attached to it.
Was OK prefer port credit. Hard to walk on the concrete with bikers but that's fine. If in park can see Lake
This gorgeous park is spread over a wide area. It has a playground with good swings for kids all ages. It's great for a walk or a run. It has a beach too.
It's a beautiful park, full of families and life on the summer weekends. The playground and splashpad are decent, but more swings would definitely help. The kids have to wait a long time to get a turn, which is a bit of an oversight given the popularity of the park and facilities for families. Nature, picnic tables, green grass and shady trees, with a rocky beach at the lake, and ample parking.
A very nice place to relax and take a walk. Very clean and well maintained. Decent parking space. People were enjoying fishing and Barbecuing.
Best beach & park in canada. Love it
Beautiful place to spend with your family.
Always a great park to visit but the waterfront. Redoing the boardwalk on the east side of the river.
Beautiful trees and paved pathways at this park. Also a splash pad and groomed beach. Parking on both sides of the canal. A fenced dog run area and washrooms which are pretty clean but a broken tap. The Waterfront trail passes through also. Great view of the city scape. There is a short boardwalk and benches to sit.
Marie Curtis Park is a very big and spacious park with lots of parking and lots of different activities on both side of the water. It can be very busy, but there is lots to do.. playgrounds, picnics, beach, some like to swim here.. boat launch, fishing, trails. During the day the park hosts day camps but there is lots of room for everyone. The only issue is the shape of the parking lot and drive into the parking area. badly needs repair and maintenance.
Small little Beach and there is a waterpark and picnic area with a park behind it.
Awesome park, in winter was extremely cold but looks amazing. I am waiting for summer to visit and see the difference:)
Excellent park along Lakeshore!
We had a really fun afternoon at Marie Curtis Park. There are walking and biking trails that span several km in and out of the park. There is a small section of beach in the park, but it was clean and our kids enjoyed it. There's plenty of spots to BBQ and picnic as well There is a playground and splash pad and small snack bar on site.
Park is great. But disappointed with the parking lot which is closed at 7:00 pm Came on 7:30 and there was already a police car who blocked all entries. Sad
Great park to walk around or bring a dog, overall 10/10 well kept and has a good layout
Marie Curtis Waterfront Park, which is in proximity to Samuel Smith Park and Humber Bay parks, is a colossal natural area that has many diverse things to offer to everyone. There are green areas with lots of trees, lawns, vegetation, birds and plenty of picnic areas. The children play ground is sizable, and in summer, lots of children and their guardians enjoy the splash pad. Additionally, there are short and long paved trails for walking or cycling. The sandy beach is considerably big, and you can witness all kinds of shore activities such as sunbathing, swimming, canoeing, boating, and enjoying the immense natural scenery. Two long piers provide amazing 360 degree view of the enormous Lake Ontario, and picturesque Toronto and Mississauga skylines. My wife and I had a pleasant experience at this waterfront park in Etobicoke, Toronto.
“Thousands have lived without love, not one without water.” — W. H. Auden
This is beautiful place on Mississauga- Etobicoke border. Half of the place is in Etobicoke and half is in Mississauga. I usually go there with friends for pizza night or bonfire night.
Amazing little beach that is almost always empty.
Definitely a dog friendly place! :) loved the walk by the lake and lots of green space.
Love this park and the open space. Typically this park is on our way towards port credit on a bike ride and we end up taking a break here
Hadn't been there in 20 yrs. Nice place to chill.
Good for kids! Nice splash pad and play area. Picnics can be fun! Beach is small, water wasn't clean but kids had fun with the sand toys!
Another gem in Alderwood with bike and jogging trail, picnic areas, boat launch, playgrounds and just awesome scenery. Did you know we also have beach? ????
It's nice and quiet park...on the lake full of yards, it's suitable for walking and even for kids specially at the sunset time .
Beautiful park with a playground, splashpad, wading pool, beach, docks, creekside, tons of birds and ducks to watch, great trails and forested area, lots of shady spots to picnic and a snack bar. We love this spot! Just watch out for bikers, it's a shared path but bikers are bit aggressive, especially in narrow areas (like the bridge).
I really enjoying taking walks in this park. Really nice trails for walking and biking. Also get to see the lake.Edit: great news even tho city washroom are closed. They put portable ones.
Park was nice.Nice splash pad, beach was ok too. Kids had great fun. The only problem is with parking, there was shortage of car parking spots, half of parking spots were reserved for big vehicles like car with trailers and lots of people got $100 ticket. Be aware.
Are you in search of an aesthetic, uncrowded, decent and spacious beach where your family and friends can have an indelible moment? Look no further. Marie Curtis Park has a reasonable parking size, water areas, swings and other outdoor play equipment for kids, clean bathrooms and a lot of lovely areas.
The waterfront trails were closed for various kinds of construction, so the walk was mainly in the neighberhood. Still nice, but not as nice as it could have been
Park was really good, luckily I got the parking quickly. Pat's has a lot of old trees and most of the park has a shade of trees. I saw some people boating in the water and the trail very peaceful. Nice place to visit.
This is a beautiful spot with lots of nature. I was invited to the release of a Canada Goose I helped to rescue through Mississauga Animal Control Dispatch and Toronto Wildlife. Toronto Wildlife so released 3 other songbirds while we were there. Go visit!
I have been there twice, but the last time was raining. I wasn't too bad, we were having our picnic under the trees and it was funny with the rain. Hope to have a better weather next time. But the place is good for picnics.
This park is beautiful. The only reason why I'm giving it 4/5 is because of the lack of parking within the park itself. There's more parking on the other side of the walking bridge. Pros: - Has quite a few trees bunched together in a number areas so you can have a great get together and stay in some shade - splash pad is big. Kids enjoyed it - designated bike lanes Cons: - the parking area is small and very narrow - no benches. Bringing your own chair is a must! Overall, it's a beautiful park with so much space to run around. There was a group of people near us playing cricket! - that's how much space there is! Advice: - if you have a pop up canopy/tent, bring it. It'll help with sun coverage. - bring your own chairs - bring your own tables - be ready to wait for a parking spot, especially during long weekends. Or just parking on the other side of the bridge.
A lovely place with scenic walkways and a little beach. You can also find lots of ducks and swans swimming on the lake. Kids are sure to love this place. There is a little play area too. The beach can get a little crowded during the summer though.
Beautiful place in the lakeshore, lots of space for children and good for jogging. There is even a beach, never seen it in summer but there is a lifesaver chair then maybe people actually go there in summer. Lots of ducks for your dog to run after and there is a pier for you to take nice photos
Getting better all the time. Great for Sunrise
Good place for picnic
It's a big nice park, but hard to find a parking spot ...
Friendly resident nearby, friendly police who made presence known in a non threatening manner and a great sense of community with other parents around the splash pad and playground. Bring your own snacks, watch your kids and relax. Have already been asked numerous times by my little guy ( age 7 ) as to when we will be going back. Oh yeah, this trip took place on July 1st and I had no problem finding a parking spot!
Beautiful park. Great trail and places for kids to play in.
Parking is free, limited since phase 3 is open now. Be careful of the parking on the west see one of the photos I uploaded. Good place with a good combination of parks, beach, BBQ, shared bike & walking track and a playfield with splash pads for kids. The washroom is available. Food joint in the park Sunset Beach Cafe.
Great spot by the lake, very large so always space for a blanket and picnic, and you are able to fish there. Although I have yet to catch anything there
Love this place but they could have made the driveway wider
Wow! What an amazing park! It's got a splash pad and playground for the young ones, huge rows of picnic tables, good parking space, access to the waterfront trails and... best of all... a beach! There is some construction going on right now, so a little bit of space is inaccessible, but it wasn't much of a bother. This park was literally one of the reasons I wanted to move to Etobicoke!
Well maintained. Little crowded. But one of the main problem is the parking. Looks like it a city's hot spot to make money out of parking They block off the whole side street with no parking sign ( which I don't find a reason to block them off). They make other streets with no parking as well. And then they have limited parking while is not enough to accommodate the people in the park. And here is the interesting part. The city have employed a full time parking enforcement to be just there to ticket people. And during my stay there for 6 hours I saw 3 cars being towed from the parks parking. I don't think it's a fair game. I understand people should not park where there is no parking but I don't think it's that of a serious issue that they need to be towed I mean its not that it's blocking any emergency service and or that it's blocking the traffic. Again, it's a hot spot for the city to make money. So if you want to enjoy a park with water front access, you better walk to the park or talk to your city councillor. Poor people came out to spent some time after the long lockdown and it's socks to have their cars towed. Thank you
The is a large beautiful park with a wide variety of facilities for children and families. We can also picnic there or enjoy the scene of Lake Ontartio or a stream.
There's construction happening at this park but aside that it's a lovely park to chill on the beach.
Nice park, lots of place for picnic. Parking was not available though. Beach is small, starting with rocks initially and thereafter sand. Not the best but good for a visit
Nice place to play with the kids...very neat
As always the park is a serene break at the end of an urban work day. A slowly moving river, the lake, sailboats, sunbathers, kids enjoying themselves...it is a mini vacation to stop there on my way home, if even for a few minutes
Less crowded than other beaches
What an awesome place! It has a small sandy beach and a full park amenities. The beach and picnic areas were packed... no surprise as it was the weekend and the weather was perfect. The police were ticketing cars in the boat launch parking lot, so best to park elsewhere. We brought our bikes and took the path along the river which is quite scenic and well maintained. Highly recommend this park.
For some reason everyone this year has been painting birdhouses and placing them around the waterfall. It looks so beautiful walking through the path.
This view is like a mirror ... !! The whole park is beautiful , clean and safely besides there is free parking lot big enough for the visitors .
This is a great place to walk, a little breathe of the country in the city. You can walk from the lakeshore up to tthe QEW.
People were following the rules being distancing and wearing a mask. Place was well clean and had clean bathrooms. Park was good. Parking a bit tough but ample of parking spots so a 3 to 5 minute wait to get a spot. Beach very good and spacious.
Great place to visit, have nice beach, park, kids area.
Large Sandy Beach, water was clear, a little cold for a swim. Ample parking, good social distancing, boardwalk needs a bit of work with proper deck screws.
In the west end, there is a lovely park. Greenery abounds, with numerous trees, lawns, flora, birds, and picnic places. The beach is also pleasant if there isn't too much pollution and it isn't too crowded. The only concern is the parking lot's form and access to the parking area. It is in in need of repair and maintenance.
Nice location. Has beach⛱, park, splash pad. But the parking was full. The people who parked in the long yellow lines/ (spots for boat trailers) were issued $100 tickets and saw few cars getting towed by parking enforcement. ???? No entry after 7:00 PM.
Beautiful park in the west end.. Ton of greenery and lots of places to set up for a picnic.. Love the amount of trails around the park.. Definitely a must see
If you can imagine spot to watch the autumn salmon run up the Etobicoke Creek, water, sky, land and treetops full of migrating birds, young and old native plants, humans relaxing on mossy-grassy open spaces, easy to ride your sweetest bike, bumps free trail or just quiet place to watch a sunrise, there it is... Marie Curtis Park West. Place for all, place to do nothing else, place to be and feel better. Bounded to the west with Lakeshore Park/Arsenal Lands. Off-leash dog park for your best friend. Not enough parking places when weather is pleasant. Worth the effort, anytime.
Enjoyed our walk along the water. Although a busy park people were respecting social distancing. Clean shoreline and beautiful grounds.
Six brand new beach volleyball courts. Free to use. You have to bring your own net and the lines. Very close to the beach. Parking becomes really busy on the weekend. The only inconvenience is a lack of washrooms.
The water is so clear and sky blue. Very impressed on how well it's been cleaned up and maintained. The beaches are clean and sandy, as they should be. This is a perfect beach for families and picnics.
I love this place. I don't enjoy the beach here but my family always sits from where we have the view of the splash pad. It is fun to watch kids enjoying. It is just so peaceful for me.
Very busy park. Nice size beach. Under renovation so walking to and from beach takes a little longer. Limited parking so we parked in the neighbourhood on the eastern side of the park entrance.
Lovely beach, not crowded, pure sun on the beach. Didn't go to splash pad but would've if we had more time, it looked great. There's a great little hamburger hut with good food and ice cream. There isn't a lot of parking so get there early!
Nice park love the swirl ice cream there is a vendor selling grilled corn on the cob. Summer is in full swing perfect place for a picnic!
