REVIEWS OF Humber Bay Park West IN Etobicoke

It is very nice n can be romantic

Fil

This is a beautiful area for morning walks, bike rides or spending time with the family. It is also a residential area and therefore would be very nice if people respected that as well as respecting the environment. If the garbage and recycling bins are full, take your garbage with you. Leaving it on top of the bins or around the bins attracts all kinds of rodents not to mention that if there's a gust of wind, all that garbage will end up in the lake. Respect the park, respect others.

Mircea Pilaf

Beautiful park in Tironto where Humber River meets Ontario Lake

House of Michelle

The West park of Humber Bay is a nice place and good for a walk, especially on a sunny day.

I B

A medium sized park on the waterfront of lake Ontario in Etobicoke. Plenty of room to walk your dog or go for a morning jog. Has a very nice view of downtown Toronto. As well as all the apartment complexes along the shoreline.

Akshat Bhardwaj

Gorgeous view amidst the natural serenity

Misty Hudson

Normally a very nice noce place to walk whether alone with a friend, children or pet... however there is construction going on in the park, mainly on the East side. Can get some great views of the city and sunrise. Lots of parking.

Ramtin Amiri

Free parking during the weekdays before 5 pm! Great reason to visit the park if you're driving.

Domien De Clercq

It's amazing this place is "right next to downtown" A little beach area where people run, walk, dive and hangout. Parking all around. There's a dog off leash area past the last parking area.

Raffi DerGhazarian

We loved the gazebo here! For a full review of this gazebo and others, check out GreatGazebos on Instagram.

Nicole Clinton

Loved it. What a beautiful day. A delightful walk.

Tyler Sarry

Can't believe it took me so long to find this spot! I was always on the east end missing the west end of the park. Stunning cityscape views when you reach the two last parking areas. Cannot wait to come back to visit when the seasons change and take more photos. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are visiting or live in the city and have never been.

Allie Smith

Beautiful location with numerous places to explore!

We went back to Humber Bay Park West today November 29th. What an amazing day to be out walking and enjoying the weekend. Beautiful park and so much to see in different directions. Take your time and explore all the paths. Beach views amazing. Swans, ducks and sand. Great views of Toronto water front. Met people walking, exercising, working out and even a gentleman practising his golf swing. Got some of the best water reflections ever from this spot and even got to watch a group of gents sailing with model sail boats. Think there was 8 boats at one time.

Dhiraj Tata Prasad

Beautiful view of the city’s skyline. Clean fresh water and air. Feels serene. I visit early morning sometimes to be alone and clear my head and just be by myself.

Ikramullah Khan

Pantea Maralani

Loved the walk by the beautiful lake

Victoria Bach

Wonderful area with access to most beautiful views of the city in any time of day or any weather. Lots of trails to explore. or have a nice picnic.

Saman Arif

Very serene and a gorgeous view of CN tower

Sajid Malgi

Beautiful park close to the watefont with mini beach areas and ample picnic spots. Green p parking lots are placed throughout the park. Great for biking and for seeing the Toronto skyline from across the water.

Deep Basak

I come here often to Scuba dive. However, the viz is mostly poor. A lot of diving classes teach their class here, hence there are guide lines. On other hand. It is a very nice park with biking and walking trails. A rocky shore line overlooking Toronto Skyline.

Mery Szabo

Nice!!! Great place to enjoy a breathtaking sunset

Jinghua Ma

Perfect scenery, perfect place for dating, family traveling, sightseeing. It is totally enjoyable when see the far away Toronto's skylines and the endless lake from a chair near the lake. There are paths for cycling, so cyclists are welcomed. if you live near there, it is also a perfect place for having a short walk after dinner. Traffics there are also convenient, there are bus, streetcar stations near there, and the bus route 66 links it to the subway station Old Mills, which is a station of Subway Line 2, so it is convenient for people from outer Etobicoke to visit there. Be aware, the washrooms there are closed in winter seasons.

Ahsanul karim Shantu

If you want to experience the scenic beauty of nature, I'll suggest you to go there and enjoy. ????????????

khurram wadiwalla

Nice place to go for a walk.

Harman

This used to be a great park until covid hit. Now it’s always overcrowded and parking is a mission. The lots are always too crowded. Be prepared to wait and have lots of patience. The view is stunning. Steer clear of the coyotes.

Rupal

The feel of freshness, walk trail and the happiness to see aquatic birds family... lead to a great day.

Mobaraz

Beautiful park parking lot is small but fairly fluid.

C. Z

Such an amazing place with great scenery! We went there for a picnic sitting right beside the lake - absolutely enjoyed the view and summer breeze! ☀️☀️☀️

Brett Cutajar

Went bike riding with a friend for the day and realized that this is a amazing beautiful place to go and explore for the day. It's safe for adults with kids . I notice how different the people are when there here compared to other place in the city. There easier to talk to, everyone seems more relaxed and it's so beautiful. It's looks like a post card. I go biking or walking there usually every weekend and would recommend it to everyone to check it out and I'd bet you'll be back because of everything mentioned above and it being so relaxing and a great overall stress reliever. I realized how lucky I was to live so close to this place. You will be hooked!!

Paul Nazareth

This is a not so hidden gem. It gets busy every weekend but always worth the visit. My kids’ favourite beach because it’s covers in rocks that they throw for hours…

Ayat Obaidullah

Nice spot to see the skyline but it is from a distance. You can bike here if you’d like! I also took my drone here to fly but zone is pretty small so its not worth flying.

john cannings

Arrived about one hour before parking lot closed. A great hour with lots of families having picnics. The small beach is a perfect setting for this kind of gathering. And the beach itself is well maintained.

Yifan

Nice spot for sunrises, lots of bugs though.

Sergey Zhukov

Great park for a walk, you seat in chairs and enjoy view of the boats. Good public marina to dock your boat.

Hamza Y

Good place to relax and have a little picnic. Plenty of parking available and it's not free on weekends. There is a little beach and a view of the Toronto's Skyscrapers. Beach was clean. There were few ducks and Geese around. Geese didn't seemed to be aggressive as they are known but just be careful and keep your distance.

Shahzad Gidwani

Great place for a morning walk

Cerise

Peaceful vibe. Have a picnic and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Ontario.

sharang sinha

Must visit places in Toronto. Great trail and beats views. You’ll see a variety of birds and butterflies depending on the season

chandan kumar dogra

It’s wonderful beach to visit and the water is so clean. We can do barbecue in summer time and bone fire at night it is so soughing and pleasant.

Fizza

Gorgeous park!! Very well maintained. Pretty paved throughout so running shoes not essential. We went in an attempt to catch a sunrise. Was too cloudy that day but amazing nonetheless. The sun peeked through behind the city skyline. Great view of the CN tower and all the beauty around it. A million bugs sadly, but thats the just curse of summer near a lake. Recommend checking out for sunrises, might update this once I catch a sunset too.

Mx Aurora

Great spot for exploration and for storytellers with writers' block to commute with the Muses. This place makes me feel alive.

Liza Epishina

Beautiful view! Very romantic! U can spend hours and hours walking around. Recommend to all !!!

Stephanie Lucas

We take walks here weekly. Winter walks are stunning. We've even taken walks on the ice ( please take caution - we only walk where it is safe, while it is super cold).

Karan Patel

Nice place for wood fire ????

John N

Amazing views of the lake.

Kevin Jackson

I experienced this park as a visitor on our boat, we walked through the park on our way to the stores and restaurants. What a popular, nice place! The many bike and running paths that cross through it are connected to a larger complex of paths, so there is a lot of traffic - people biking, skating, and running everywhere. The park is well cared for, with a unique view of Toronto across Humber Bay, and some unique natural butterfly gardens, art installations, and interesting little corners to explore.

Helen Young

Tranquility and spectacular view of the city skyline. Great plàce to walk your dog while breathing in fresh air.

Elio Assuncao

Great flat park with nice view points of city landscape and surrounding nature.

Mir Omar

A quick drive from East GTA, minutes from the Gardiner. What drew me to this site is that it's well maintained and features a great view of the downtown Toronto skyline at night

Greg Mills

For views of Toronto there are few better more expansive vistas. Plenty of parking, clear walking trails and the beaches are great for kids with all the different worn down industrial detritus (old bricks, pavements and concrete worn smooth by wave action. Trust me it’s actually kinda cool) . Can be open and bracing on a clear winters day but invigorating nonetheless. Easy walking from Lakeshore transit or by bike too

Anwar Hamze

Beautiful quite, clean park, with bar-b-q benches ready for visitors to enjoy, in the shade, facing the lake, Toronto skyline and next to skyscrapers. Highly recommended

vamsi krishna

Such a pleasant and beautiful place to breathe some fresh air and walk ! Must visit place

GRAY

Absolutely, positively beautiful views of the Toronto city skyline, the Humber Bay area skyline, and almost all the other angles of Lake Ontario. There are not many parking spaces though and at night it smells very strongly like marijuana everywhere because so many people go there to smoke.

Angela T

It’s awesome experience

Ruti

Amazing views of the city, great restaurants and good vibes. I love taking people from out of town here.

Andrea Eybe

It's a great park-- fantastic shots of the Park Lawn urban sprawl and of Toronto downtown -- though please beware of Karens, keep your dog on a leash, and enjoy!

Adam De Biasi

It's a lovely stretch of area, with a lovely view of the skyline, unfortunately it's also underr construction for the next 3 years as they provide the shoreline and revamp the space.

Daniel Clifton Schawill

For in the city it was a very quiet and beautiful place to be. Some really r&r.

Irina

Diver's spot. On Saturdays at 6:30am no parking space

Brandy Daoust

This place is awesome, great view of the city and a great spot to hang with friends or just a walk along the shore....a must for anyone looking for some calming amidst the chaos of life....

Yeti King

I like to take long early walks .Is good for Mental and Phisical Health

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ One place you can see downtown toronto view without riding a boat. Toronto is one of best night city scape in the world. There’s lots of parking but expect for long wait time during peak times. Because it’s so close to downtown and a big park lawn community just right beside this park. Nice people around. Nice lake front. Surprisingly bot polluted too. Safe for kids and family to enjoy. Images taken March 26th 2021 8:15pm where nature was showing great skyline formation and vibrant colours. Great area to see night sky and stars too when not cloudy. Attached 1 image is a night sky shot. One of the starts look more yellow is planet Mars. Do drop me a like ???????? if you find this review helpful. Thanks ????

Iftekhar Alam

Amazing place! Near to the city center and downtown. Parking is cheaper comparatively (5$ for max for any duration otherwise 1$/hour.

Leola Durant Looking For Eden

A great place to sit and take in the beginning of a new day as the sun rises over the city of Toronto. It’s also a nice place to go for a jog or to take a leisurely stroll. The park is well taken care of and the workers friendly. A variety of wildlife can also be found here, like raccoons, hawks, and many different types of birds.

Tony Corsillo

Great place to test scuba gear in the city... Clearer water after the full moon Parking fills up quick and no bathrooms currently

Mushin media

Beautiful park in South Etobicoke. Plenty of open space to have pets and children roam free and safely. There is a shared pathway with cyclists and plenty of parking for out of town visitors. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the city's facade and their are restrooms available. There are local businesses around including sailing and boat services. There is a dock for boaters to unload. There is also a Famers market that happens every weekend during the spring, summer and fall months. This lakeside greenspace is perfect for any occasion.

Sahil Faraz

Excellent place to experience nature right here in Etobicoke. Can spend entire day here just enjoying nature and taking photographs of this place, specially in Fall ????

Meredith Chou

A beautiful place to visit in anytime of a day. You can see the city view and sky colour changing. Pink sky is my favourite ????

Sol Chrom

I come here for two reasons: walking the dog and diving. For several years, there were a couple of picnic tables right next to the parking lot. They were really handy for gearing up. A few years ago, the city removed them. Still don't know what that's accomplished.

Smriti Tandon

Lovely views. Parks are great. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Ravali Anjuru Venkata

I love this place it is the best place to go if you just wanna sit and relax or ride a bike or just have fun. You can get your canoe and motor boats too. A fun place to visit

Vanita Budhai

This is an incredible area for pups. The park is in its own secluded area, well away from the rest of the park. There is a designated off-leash beach. Next to the beach is a gated off-leash wooded area. The entrance to the dog area is a long dirt path that is not gated so be sure your dog has good recall, else you'll have to walk them on leash to the beach. The water is clean, the beach is clean and the gated area is clean. And the views from the park are amazing.

Jeff Tebbens

It's a great view of the city. The Beach is rocky and today it was seaweedy too, so not great swimming. If you have a dog there's a wonderful off leash area off to the right when facing the lake at the end of the peninsula. Parking can be a challenge at busy times.

gtpnxt

Fantastic park!

Humber Bay Park West is a narrow park jutting out into the water of Lake Ontario in the City's west end. It's an excellent spot for bird watchers hoping to find interesting waterfowl and shorebirds. Along the shores of Humber Bay West, you'll also spot a wide variety of ducks overwintering in Lake Ontario. Combine your walkthrough Humber Bay Park West with a loop around Humber Bay Park East for a great day of hiking. A number of parking lots and paved pathways make this an accessible park.

Sonny's World

Very nice trail by the shore

Lorna O. Davison

The native wildflowers here are abundant. The natural experience is one enjoyed easily by a very diverse group of humans. Smiling and happy to be walking, biking, boarding, running next to Like Ontario in September. The sunny days could not be more perfect. This is a very fit place to live.

Fz Radwi

Nice hidden getaway! Bikes, runners and bench sitters, all welcome ;)

Sanjeev Dandekar

Very nice area to walk along the promenade. The best time to enjoy taking photos is around dusk. Lots of swans and ducks. Many beautiful yachts are to be seen here. Bike, walk, stroll, jog many ways to enjoy this lovely area.

Sharbano

Good place for catching up with friends. Parking available. $5 until 9pm great thing. Get your bug spray in the summer.

Da Ria

Great park with beautiful waterfront trails. I do not recommend to visit this place on weekends, too busy… All public washrooms are open.

Jay R

The best place to wat h the airshow+$9 parking for the day. Get there early to avoid not finding a parking spot. Water was clean. Beach well maintained.

Sally St Germaine

This beach is lovely and so close I think I was up north until the skyline comes into view Lol

tenzin saldon

Absolute beauty of meeting water, land and sky. Abundant birds, tree and rocks. Avoid severe winter, else seasons grab yourself there!

Brian Rumball

I would say that between east and west humber park they are without a doubt the best parks on TO WATERFRONT JUST WISH THERE WAS A VENDING STATION TO BUY DRINKS OR TREATS ON WEST SIDE

ANTO KELEDJIAN

Great place

Hifzmaster

May, temp is 24c It can get hectic on weekends, but that's the idea, lovely people, nice atmosphere, something for everyone, photography? You can get great shots here, don't park your subjects in people's way, look for nice areas with great backdrops. You like reading in the sunshine? Like I do? Find a nice chair, we have many scattered around, a cold drink, and polish off a few chapters. You like walking in that tank top and shorts? You fit right in, problem is, no one is paying attention to your lovely butt, hehe. Where everyone goes, Absolutely beautiful, where you can see the Toronto skyline. Humber Bay is all landfill, from the construction of all the large buildings, they had to put the dirt somewhere, so the built a park jutting out into lake Ontario, now you can see the skyline without leaving the city, Car parking available, great trails for bike riding, ice cream and lovely ladies. If you are new to the city, come and enjoy, if you have friends and family visiting, especially older folks, bring them, and bring a picnic basket and enjoy.

Derek Dwinnell

Clean beach front with lots of space.

Walid Abdulrahman

A park with diverse qualities, you could see the beautiful view of downtown Toronto from under a tree or you could be part of a large community of morning athletes

Sergio Helio Acosta Solis

It's a good place to enjoy beautiful sights of the city a catch an spectacular sunset picture. Even this winter season you also can practice you favorite exercise safely keeping your social distance.

Amit Brahme

Great place to see Lake Ontario, fill your lungs with fresh air and see the city landscape.

Andrew Zimbel

Humber Bay Park West is a beautiful place. There is a wonderful path that winds along the lake.

paul c

Nice place along Toronto lake shore cycling path

brenda Bilow

I love this trail.. beautiful scenery

Nemanja Ivanovic

This park is significantly less busy than the east park right next to it. If you would like to just enjoy the lakefront scenery without large crowds, I recommend this park. Bring a snack, sit on the rocks and enjoy the view. Don't be surprised to be visited by some very cure wildlife such as groundhogs, mink/weasel, etc.

Christopher Jackson

Fantastic views of the Toronto skyline. Great for photo opportunities or exercise. Bike/walking paths are available.

T W

Love this area, so peaceful and the view is gorgeous. Huge lot at the front of the entrance if you cant find a spot down the path

Mubashir Muhammad

One of the better parks in the city. It's huge considering it have a east and west park. Both have something different to offer. I firmly believe you can not come here and not enjoy the view at whatever day or time!

Dhruv Kumar

Great park, good views, pubic toilets. Lots of eating options close by.

Roy Kayser

Water was clean, but cold, obviously since it was April 4th. One boat launch closed due to low water levels but out of anyone's control if course. Lots of parking. Two wide free boat launches available.

Lourde Rassam

Really beautiful park! Lots of walking and beautiful scenery. Parking wasn’t too hard to find. You can walk all the way to Humber bay arch bridge which is a nice sight. There were many places to sit along the way such as smooth flat rocks on the water or also benches. The atmosphere here is different from other parks I’ve been to in Toronto; it’s a beautiful combination of nature with a backdrop of high rises. We also saw a really cute swan couple with their 7 babies! Definitely a new favorite park!

dev and u

Very quite place and clean water. Plenty of parking space.

Robert Colucci

Humber bay west. Can find a quiet spot along the lake. Rocky shore but was able setup camping chairs. Non obstructive view of the skyline. Great for watching fireworks or the air show. Parking available but on weekends usually full. Large parking area for cars with boat trailers. Beware: cars only not allowed to park in trailer area, you will be ticketed.
