Great place for kids

A good range of climbing gyms for toddlers and children to about 12 years old. A favorite for mine was the Zipline swing. Also includes a splashpad zone with a good variety of water features that starts up at 10am. Also included were four workout stations for older kids or adults as well as some picnic benches for food breaks and parents to relax. One star removed as one of the toddler swings was damaged and not currently usable.

Kids had a great time at the playground this morning. Water is closed off for the year, but they still had fun with the dry parts. Good group of parents about, preventing knockouts/overs at the swings and with the zipline thing.

It was so much fun for my kids and there were not lots of people. It also had swings and place for people to sit and watch their young ones. It's not so big as the picture shows but it's a cool place for a quick kids hang out.

Under 5 year old space is just right with climbing, and balancing practice. Water park is full of exciting spouts, and dribbles with one huge splash for the more brave. Then to the other side of the water is a >5 section with rope ladders, a zip line and tall slides!

Good 3 hrs free parking. Lots of fun water park things to climb on , swings, rubber ground covered and you can get as wet as you want. Public washrooms are available as well as a few picnic tables and benches. Not much shade though. Can get quite crowded.

This is definitely a 5 star water park where you can have lots of fun with your kids. Even the washroom is very clean and non-smelly. The water splash is awesome and kids at any age will love this place.

I love bringing my niece here! She has a riot and I admittedly have a blast as well. Only downside is the lack of shade. It would be great to have some more shelter so the old folks can rest their bones while the wee ones play.

Kids love it, but the whole water garden section is a head scratcher. A quarter of the park is effectively unusable. There's virtually no shade and while there is a water fountain there's not not a good one for filling water bottles.

This is a fantastic addition to our community here in Esquimalt. Awesome layout with hours of fun for the kids. It does get very busy so come early if you want a table or a spot on the "grass". The lacking component here is the washrooms/changerooms are small and under-scaled considering the occupancy of the park. My wife tells me there is only one toilet in the Women's washroom which is inadequate. The rec centre is close for additional washrooms but definitely not convenient.

Must Go Here! This is the perfect toddler park- 100% fenced with bathrooms inside fence, splash pad, swings, crawling/balance structures, big kid structures, little toddler structures, rubber matting, kid water fountain, mommy workout machine, benches and picnic tables, and trail around the park.

Great water play for a hot summer day like today, which feels like 40 degree and breaks the record. There’re plenty of parking spaces and just 10 minutes drive from downtown Victoria. The only con is there is not much shaded area for parents to rest in.

Fun waterpark for kids but has a few problems. One is the horribly off-gassing of the rubber padding that makes up the ground, in super hot weather the chemical smell can be overwhelming. The other issue is the water supply, very anemic supply for the water features. Also a near total lack of shade

Good but really needs more shade for kids, that's where it loses the fifth star. My kids loved the dump bucket. There is a fitness course for the adults which is a nice addition. Best of all, it's FREE. I would definitely go again but with an umbrella or aunt shade tent.

WOW! What a great place for kids. The playground is amazing, with a good distance between the little/big kid playground. Splash park is fun, still trying to figure out which button does what because they really don't make sense. Older kids come here at night and are rough on some of the equipment causing things to be closed for repair. Please respect this great park. If your kid breaks it then our tax dollars pay to fix it.

Our favourite playground. One side for the little kids, one for the bigger kids, and a great water park in the middle. I love that they have washrooms on site, and they're always well cleaned.

My 1 and 2 year old babies had so much to do! Great variety of climbing, swinging and fun. Love the spongy ground rather than sand or woodchips like other playgrounds. Super clean.
