Amazing green space in uptown Waterloo. Lots of fun parks and splash pads for kids and peaceful nature walk near the water. Parking can be an issue if you are coming during rush hours.

It's pretty but be very careful walking in the grass. There is a man with a team of dogs who search for needles quite regularly to keep it safer but still use caution and never go bare feet.

Vic park is great. Wide open. Deceptively large. So if you need a washroom be prepared. There are no public washrooms but I'm told there will be permanent fixtures in the future.

I go here everyday and i do love it, staff are friendly, i do wish they would maintain the ice a bit more, i skate on the inside of the oval because i have social anxiety and i continuously fall because people making me nervous, makes it very hard to do my warm ups going across rough ice.

Sometimes business concept works. But hard sometimes to find sets or multiples of items. Plus the whole 9 day return policy should be illegal. Rural folks don't come to city that often. 3 to 5 hour drive for many. TJ Maxx card gives you 30 days but its just an email and data grab.

Really nice park! Lots of places to sit, playground for kids, and at the summer time there’s out door market every Wednesday and Saturday with food vendors and lots of cute local things to buy. Sometimes they have market under the stars with live music and during the summer there are free activities for families and everyone like Yoga in the park! Really great! The only thing that need to take under consideration is that it’s Meter parking.

I saw a local production of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors in this beautiful park. It was a wonderful venue. The park is lovely, with mature trees, a beautiful fountain, and majestic statuary. This park is a real treat.

The oval is much bigger than I expected and the ice was in excellent shape. I enjoyed the path through the trees as it's an interesting jaunt but the ice is in much worse shape there. Lots of people present but it's easy to keep your distance. Would definitely bring the kids there again.

Nice piece of greenspace with paths connecting it to surrounding streets. Lots of picnic tables and benches and shady spots under trees. Dogs are actually allowed here, unlike most of the parks around it. Recently added an alcohol allowed zone.

Edmonton is a fun, outdoors city, weather not withstanding. Lots of festivals, great venues for art & music, & great variety of restaurants. My favorite part is the connected parks in the river valley where you can walk, run, ski, or bike for hours without seeing a car. Lots of great hills for cycling - I have a 10 hill route.

I have been rather unimpressed with the market space that was created. The fact that vehicles are permitted to drive on the space seems like a waste of money that was spent to supposedly improve the downtown location. I feel as though the space needs better usage with more markets and vendors.

Very nice place to spend some family time. The rink is good for speen skating. I was amazed how many people go there. You see couples, families and lots of laughing kids. It has a playground for little kids. The shelter is warm and you can see the kids skating from the inside, so you dont have to be outside all the time when is very cold. The trails are usually clean and smooth. Bring your skates.

Been thinking of going here with my girlfriend for years now to ice skate and was finally able to last December. The way they do the parking is great and easy to understand. The narrow ice path is perfect for beginners to practice and when you finally get the hang of it you can then proceed to the big oval rink where you can practice even more and do stunts or go fast. Ever since we went, we’ve been going every now and then whenever my girlfriend and i are free. There are washrooms too and some benches to sit down when you get tired.

Nice green space, great for informal activities such as picnics, frisbee, dog walking, slack lining. Good, well lit, paved walking paths around and through the park. The paths are well maintained and usually good for walking even in snowy, icy conditions. Lots of mature trees add to the beauty of the park and provide shade on hot summer days. Plenty of benches to sit on and some picnic tables.

Not much to say. It's an old, quiet park where people come to walk their dogs, do yoga, or sunbathe. It's plenty big and there is lots of grass to run on. Lots of trees to sit under. There's a water fountain but no bathrooms.

Beautiful little park in a residential/commercial area along Lonsdale. As of the time of this writing, the City of North Vancouver is allowing the public to drink in a section (check out their website for updates on this) of the park which can be nice for some people. The park itself doesn't span very wide, so there are roads and residential buildings surrounding the park that you are able to see from sitting inside the park.

It's a nice park in downtown Kitchener offering lots of options to enjoy. It has a playground, splash pad, basketball courts and picnic areas. It is a family-friendly park and you can enjoy walking, running, biking or roller skating in the park while your children are busy playing in the playground. There is plenty of shade to move the picnic tables and enjoy a nice meal.

This is lovely neighbourhood park. It used to be our location to get fresh spring water but that is long gone. The wading pool was replaced with a splash pad and there is a nice playground. There is plenty of room for picnics but still very little parking available.

This place has got to be one of the top parks in Ontario. The landscape and greenspace are fantastic. Usually, I would see garbage laying all over the place but not at this park! Because of all the mature trees, the shade was easy to find, perfect for dogs on a hot day. I went here on a Thursday, and it was not overcrowded and lucky for me and Lucy (my dog), it was windy, so not too many nasty mosquitoes to fight off. It was serene and relaxing, such a perfect way to end the day. They also have public washrooms that are currently open despite covid. I don't know how anyone would rate this park any less than five stars.

Pretty little park but not fenced and roads on all four sides with no barriers. You've got to keep an extra cautious, eagle eye on children and pets which doesn't make for a relaxing visit.

A great place for picnic and relaxing. It is a big, beautiful and huge area for walking and relaxing. They allow you to bring in bouncing castle for children and you can reserve the picnic sites. The only downside for me is the limited parking area compared to other parks like Kinsmen Park. For barbecue, there is a small store close by where you can get some stuffs though quite expensive as expected. A great experience all the same.

Beautiful memorial. Lovely walk through the city. Keep dogs leashed watch your kids heavy traffic there are two parts of the park you have to cross Lonsdale crosswalks easily accessible with controlled lights. Great way to picnic see the memorial service in November and lovely for a picnic or read suntan go for a lunch break..

This shot was taken along a footpath which follows the old EY&P Railway rail-bed. The Edmonton Yukon and Pacific railway ran from the CPR yards about 60th Avenue in Strathcona, down the Mill Creek ravine, across the North Saskatchewan River on the Low Level Bridge, looping around to the southwest then back to northwest, climbing the valley below the legislature building, reaching the top of the valley just before the Groat ravine. At that point it curved around to the northeast following Clifton Place and Wadhurst Road, joining with the rail yards north of Stony Plain Road/104 Avenue just west of the old brewery near 122 Street and 105 Avenue.

Great place to bring the family. They have areas where you can have a fire and a covered seating area in case you want to beat the heat or rain. Plus , they have two portajohns in the front of the parking lot. One of which is wheelchair accessible.

Went to this park to celebrate Aboriginal day. The park was beautiful with lot's of old growth and Victoria golf course wrapping around it providing some of the most beautiful views of the Edmonton river valley. There is a lot of walking/biking tails around this park!!! With some free public parking!

I like this park, it's definitely different since the homeless have made camps but I never feel unsafe. They are welcome to stay as long as I feel safe and can also enjoy the park. I really enjoy the lazy seating by the fountain.

There are definitely some questionable characters out and about here. Expect to find people asking you for cigarettes or spare change. What's with the curved metal trash heap? If it's supposed to be art, consider me not impressed. The large glow sticks littered about are kinda nice... y'know, in an unsophisticated, tasteless way. Did someone forget to take down the Christmas decorations? There's also this hilarious fake rock close to the library. For what purpose did they create a fake rock? It's probably covering some electrical equipment or something, but why a fake rock? Did they think no one would notice?

This is a nice park in Regina's downtown. Lot's of summer activities are planned in the park making it a great place to walk around over lunch. Farmers markets also take place frequently. It has also been the site of some demonstrations from time to time but those are small and well behaved.

The environment is good. There were games going on in the Park for weekdays..you can find cheap food around. Close to Cornwall center. But you have to be careful a little bit. You can see any type of individual in the Park.

The park and its surrounding trails are great with beautiful scenery and lots of space, the only unfortunate part of the experience was the fitness weiners that can't help but show off in public on the stairs, the stairs are there for everyone to use and to create access to the river valley from downtown, it is really unfortunate that in this time of public health crisis some people think its ok to screw around, panting and spitting with no masks on, on a public access infrastructure. my family and I had to go the long way around.

Small green space housed between Spring Garden Road and University Avenue. It has several memorial monuments and a working fountain. Lots of benches throughout and paths leading toward surrounding side streets. Great bike maintenance post on the north east corner. Downside is that there's a lot a undesirables drinking and sleeping after dark

My friend and I stopped by Victoria park for the lights festival in the middle of summer. The park was beautifully maintained and manicured and has well kept facilities. The photos provided are of the park during the event so maybe not wholly representative of the park all year round. But it's a great sledding spot in the winter and sometimes is one of the quieter parks in town, though it can suffer some for its location near downtown

Super great for skating during the day. The last few times have gone (between 5pm-8pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights), the rink has been closed for speed skaters. It is usually very busy and hard to find parking, and the lights on the path have burnt out a couple times. When it is all open, it’s beautiful though! People are friendly, no hockey sticks allowed so it is perfect for people who just want to enjoy skating without people playing hockey getting in the way and knocking you over! The rink is very well-kept, but the path is very sloppy. The ice feels like it has never been zambonied and snow keeps falling on it, making it very difficult to skate on and we see people wiping out on it constantly. The microphone by the rink is very fun, makes it feel like you are in a movie (but is very crackly so hopefully you like the old-movie vibe because you can’t hear the music very clearly haha)

I really like this Victoria Park. I happened to drove by here and had to make a stop to check this park out, as there were cannons at one entrance of the park, then a baseball diamond and then at another corner, you see this memorial. I really feel peaceful taking a nice walk around this area, also it's worth admiring these historic Victorian architecture houses around the neighourhood. It's nice there is a memorial to remember and thank the Canadian Soldiers who sacarfrice their lives to serve our country. Lest We Forget! Thank you!

It's a lovely park. Used by many. It was set up many years ago with our war veterans in mind. Once a year cerimonies are held to remember the men and woman that work hard and died for our country. It has an old air raid siren located on the south side with a statue of Fallin solders where wreaths are hung. This also has a bick/walking path going fro. Chesterfield right the way too ridgeway. St.

Seen the statue that is causing so much controversy. As a Blackfoot Indian from British Columbia I can see why this was covered in red paint and a angry individual from Six Nation's reported this and wants the city to remove this large statue from the park.
