You will see the opinions of real people who used the services of Terwillegar Park (Park) near to the area of Edmonton (Canada).
To this day the business has a rating of 4.7 stars over 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is almost the best one, and it is founded on a very high number of opinions, so we can conclude that the rating is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to give feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Park is classified in the category of Park.
Dogs , dogs and more dogs!! If you like dogs and watch them play, this is the place. There is a lot of space to jog,run and climb. And the snow makes it so much better. This is one of the parks in Edmonton you need to visit.
Divers trail system; a very nice off leash dog park, a lot of parking place.
Lovely park for dogs and off course for bikers too, dogs enjoy other dog’s company,,they play around and in the river water they love to jump n play. All days are busy, sometimes it’s hard to find parking place.
Very big off leash park. Trails, open area, access to river, everything a dog could want. Even when busy there is so much space you aren't tripping over dogs.
Great park for walking dogs, large wide open area near the parking lot and lots of trails. Runs along the river.
The park is off-leash park but the trails are on-lease. I enjoy going from terwigller foot bridge to the fort edmonton footbridge. The trail has paved road, that is plus point when you have stroller.???? Lots of car parking spots. FACT: Terwigller footbridge is 262-metre-long
Nice views from the top, very serine it doesn't feel like you're in Edmonton. The bridge is a nice walk across the wide Saskatchewan River. You'll see people on boats, people fishing on the river bends. The path to the bridge is very pleasant as well with very tall trees almost hugging over you.
A wonderful off leash dog park. So many trails to explores and pups to meet! A great place for family pics in the fall and wading in the river to cool down in the summer!
Just found out about this park. I had no idea there was a foot bridge. I definitly recommend checking this place out!! The views of the city are excellent. There are a-lot of hiking/walking trails and the footbridge crossing the North Sask. River is pretty cool!! Great for family or just a nice date idea as well. One of the many great wonders of our city.
Such a beautiful spot for dogs to run free
A great dog park. Huge, with lots of variety. It has river access, a huge field, treed paths, and ponds. There are port-a-potties by the parking lot. As well, there is often a dog friendly (has dog treats) food truck of some kind during nice weather. The large gravel parking lot feels like one big pot hole at times. Because it is popular (great for walking and cycling), it can be near impossible to find parking on a busy day.
Love this park. Parking sucks but according to the city website more parking is coming. Trails are shared use and there are lots of cyclists. River access. A few art pieces to check out too! Lots of dog poop in the large field area in spite of lots of garbage cans for easy clean up.
What a beautiful spot in the middle of a big city. This is an off-leash area so there are plenty of dogs running around and enjoying the trails and grasslands. There are lots of places to explore and great views of the river valley. A wonderful place to take your family for a little adventure!
Awesome day outing park... good for cycling and hiking.
AMAZING Huge park....first time here and spent 2 days at 3 hours a day and we still didn't see all of it. Lots of friendly people....very few land mines around....people really do pick up after their dogs here...good for you Edmonton. You guys have a real natures gem in the city.
Really gorgeous. My dog enjoyed it a little too much.
Beautiful walking trails that dart in and out of nice and relaxing residential neighbourhoods with speed control. Connects to Terwillegar Dog Park as well through the trail system and bridges. Great spot.
One of the best off-leash dog parks in the city. Long, stretching trails, beaches, open fields and very busy. Great for socializing
Wonderful large park. The off path trail's I walked follow the edge of the river all the way from the south near the EL Smith water plant to the Henday bridge. Some rugged paths but excellent scenic views.
Beautiful, long trails that really just kept going. I walked maybe 4km before I realized how far I'd really gone. The views are more than worth it and there are tons of places to rest when you tire out. Highly recommend taking the trails with a bike or rollerblades.
Lots of great views along the river. I was in the off-leash area with a friend and get dog and so the dogs were really friendly. Plus it seems like people are really good about picking up after their pups ????
This park has two beautiful fountains! A favourite place for ducks, beaver. It’s very close to the neighborhood and there’s a huge field right beside it. It’s a great place to sit down and relax.
This is one of the best park in Edmonton, I love visiting here, it's close to the place where I live. It's amazing place to come with your dogs if you have any, else you can still enjoy this place sitting by the river, fly a kite or get your bike and go on the trail, or simply just walk the trail. In the recent visit I saw a lot of bird in the river, mostly the gulls and terns, it was just beautiful to watch them. The footbridge is also closeby so you can also visit there if you have enough time. You can enjoy the time here on any day.
Lots of nice dogs. Great weather. Water was clean.
Beautiful park for doggos to play. Not the best park but for lots of place to move. Get ready for dirty puppers tho lol! ????
If you want to get in touch with nature that's the place to go. Untouched forest area and small trails to explore
Tones of space to walk you dogs, endless trails and if you get tired of the off leash part you can cross the foot bridge to another section that is 6km around, you’ll get your steps in here and then some! This is my dogs happy place
Great place for a walk all year round!
love taking my dog for walks here. you could spend hours here exploring all the paths. access to the river too
This park is known as one of the best Urban mountain bike areas in Canada and for good reason. Well over 70 km of single and double track that will either satisfy those who want a nice easy ride or those who want an incredible challenge. I cycle here 2 to 3;times a week, am still finding new trails and can say without a shadow of a doubt that with the exception of not having mountains to look at when you ride it is every bit as good as Banff, Jasper and Canmore, some of the trails are not for the faint of heart but there are plenty of detours if you come up to a trail feature you are not comfortable with. From the Goat Trail, to Fireman’s decent, to willys flow you can easily spend a couple hours and totally forget you are in the city. I’m not sure how many acres this park is but you can expect to encounter other mountain bikers, hikers and of course lots of dogs as it is an off leash area. Pro tip, put a bear bell on your bike so the dogs and owners hear you coming, go slow when you pass them and give the owners time to gather their dog before you reach them if they want. Treat them with respect, be kind and just appreciate the fact that you can ride these kinds of trails in Edmonton. There are VERY few ornery dog walkers when you are nice to them and almost all will have a few kind words when you acknowledge and thank them. It’s not a community of mountain bikers, nor is it a community of dog walkers. It’s more like everyone really appreciates we have this incredible place and just gets along. Ps: if you have a dog that likes to run with you as you ride, bring it…you won’t be sorrry, such a terrific place.
My second favourite dog park in Edmonton. The are so many areas of explore in this park. Watch out for the mountain bikes if you’re walking on the single trails. The park is extremely busy especially on weekends. Get there early or go after dinner in the summer to get a parking spot. It’s quieter in the winter or when it’s raining.
As far as off leash parks in Edmonton go this is one of my favourite. It has a blend of open area for fetch and wooded area for a scenic walk. Check it out if you haven’t already.
I love the off-leash park. My pup really enjoys the trails as well as going for swims. I enjoy the food trucks that are there most of the time. Some days I wish it was a little easier for find a parking spot (just because of the popularity of the park!)
It's lovely place for my dogs to go for a long walk and meet up with my friends for the doggies play dates.
It was a great place for long walks. Open paths river views. Decor is very strange and ugly must be where the city dumped its ugly ornaments. Not much prettiness compared to Rundle and Hermitage parks. Not much access to river either. But interesting and OK if you like boring wide paths and open fields off leash.
Wow I've been to many dog parks and this one is by far the BEST so far! Its huge, people are so friendly, and all dogs are so happy. This is definitely Doggie Disneyland lol If you want a wonderful adventure and best experience...you gotta try this park. The only complaint that I saw is that because of the massive size, many people don't pick up after their dog. So please bring a baggie for poop there are garbage cans for your use. Go and enjoy! I go back every week as its equally as beneficial for me. ❤
Excellent trails !! Lots of room to move around ,, I will be bck
It's my first time to go to this place and I really love it. My plan was just to get good pictures for autumn then I didn't realized that this is also a good place to jog and walk while enjoying the beautiful ambience. Also, you can walk your dog here.
My favourite off leash dog park in Edmonton! It has loads of paths you can take that are off the beaten trail. It’s always so beautiful here. I’ve been going for a few years now and I’ve never had any issues.
Love riding my bike over the bridge it's beautiful
