You know that we do not usually bother to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Park is included in the category of City park.
This place has everything and the entrance is free with lots of parking. Lots of green shaded spaces, water activities, Frisbee golf, paddle boats, children's play equipment and picnic tables. You can bike or walk your leased dog on the paved walks or off on some side trails. Theres also a foot bridge that crosses over to Gold Bar and you can continue your adventure in more parks and trails. ???? ????
Great place for picnic and playground. Beautiful view. There are biking and walking trails around the area that connected to the river valley trails. Lots of parking area.
Between 2-4pm you pretty much have this spot to yourself. Good for small children, families. Not too wild.
Good disc golf course, plenty of pathways. There is some sort of recreational center. Park can be booked for events. Was well maintained. The geese seem to like it too.
Rundle Park is a place where you can enjoy small or large group picnics, trails for biking, walking (dogs are allowed), jogging. Large playground for kids of all ages, they even have swings for people with disabilities so everyone can enjoy the playground. Ponds to see the beauty and entertainment of the birds. A river to go fishing, an amazing disk golf course (playing golf with a frisbee), an actual golf course, ball diamonds, and much more. Edmonton has truly blessed us this amazing park. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did ???????? Thank you Edmonton and community
Always enjoy coming to sled here at the toboggan hill. It's safe enough for children with the hay bales and fun enough for the adults. I guess the only downside would be that there are no lamp posts so its always pretty dark.
I love this park. You can spend a whole day here and still will not be able to visit the entire park. The day time picnic area is amazing with spots for BBQ and shades. The play areas for kids are very accessible.
I love Randall Park is such a wonderful beautiful multi Park. One of Hamilton best parks as far as I'm concerned
It's pathetic that the city of Edmonton wants to charge people to park at Rundle.
My friends and I have been walking the trails of Rundle park for almost a year now, every Sunday! We love the trails and the lovely people we encounter during our walks. Although I was sad to see the ponds didn't get filled this year it …
The go-to disc golf course in the city. This is the best course in Edmonton if not Alberta. The fairways are diverse and large. The downside this year is how popular the sport has become. Expect to be waiting to start, especially on the weekends when there will be a line. Overall this is good for the sport but I would recommend avoiding Rundle on the weekends and Thursday nights.
Beautiful park with lots of amenities, right by the river. Lots of biking trails and picnic sites. Great to visit all year round!
Always a Beautiful place to walk. A Fun downhill drive to get there (fasten your seatbelt! ????) Great for Family and Solo as well. Great place to run
I so much love this park. It is one of the best park that I have been to in Edmonton. So spacious and alot of trees. They have countless number of BBQ spots apart from the reserve spots that have shelters. Also they have alot of swings and play area for children to have fun while the adults enjoy their BBQ. The only downside is that the washroom at the Family Centre needs to be kept clean.
Nice big park for Edmonton. Lots of room to bbq, run around and picnic. The ponds are nice, and the park is pretty quiet since it's on the river valley. The park feels a bit unloved, as there are run-down buildings in the park, and the road into the park is just horrendous. The road barely classifies as a road since I don't think cars should be driving on it, in it's state.
Rundle park may be one of the most full service parks in Edmonton. Plenty of green space and public barbecues set you up for a great picnic. Great trails through and around the park as well. Not to mention some fantastic views if you find …
It was a beautiful day today and Rundle Park was a nice place to spend it. There are paddle boats for rent still at this time in September. Lots of trails to walk or bike... and even play Frisbee. Lots of parking, located in Edmonton's East End. Clean washroom facilities available as well. Nice indoor fireplace to sit around for winter time skating.
Absolute hidden gem in the winter with the skating park. Beautiful majestic trails with a large skating area in the open. Only thing that’s missing is the trees being lit up with Christmas lights.
Beautiful sunny day at Rundle Park, it has lost of space, trails for cycling, jogging or walking, as well as space for picnics (tables + fixed BBQ on the first come first serve bases and some with reservation), also playgrounds and more. You can watch ⚾ baseball games or friendly tennis???? play or take a ride in a boat at the pond!(you have to pay thought) The views are breathtaking, the colors are just an astonishing! The are several buildings with easy access public washrooms and also portable once, around the field. Lost of easy access parking too. I hope you can enjoy as much as we did.
Such a beautiful walk and so open. There is lots to discover as there are many trails. One of my favorite spots in Edmonton!
Great placr for picnics, it is big ,beautiful view ,nice playground for kids It is my first time to be there , absolutely will be going back highly recommend in summer.
I frequently head out to Rundle for mountain biking. OK.... I go through Rundle mostly. Well maintained.
The ice skating was great! Nice paths through the trees...lots of places to stop and take a break. Beautiful.
Fantastic disc golf course, super friendly and helpful local frolfers. If you hear music ,definitely check it out, had a great time dancing with the folks that were having a social
A hidden gem of Edmonton! There is plenty to do here for singles, couples, and families. I was pleasantly surprised by how many amenities and space Rundle Park has
Very good park! Lots of space! Close to the river. Awesome place to have a BBQ, play with kids or just take a walk or bycicle ride.
A great park with plenty of options in any season. Come down during the winter months and skate the ice path, play some shinney at the rink or tobaggan down one of the best hills in town. Make sure to warn up by the fire in the building at the end of the road! Come summer, book a BBQ, play some soccer or football, rent a paddle boat, go for a bike ride or just enjoy the river valley. Endless options!
Love this place and a lot of fun for your familys and kids to hang out for skate and picnics.
Very nice and lovely park
Great park in the city. Lots of space for using for day outings and plenty of parking and trails to use.
Beautiful place for a walk.
Well designed park with ample space for individual groups and enough play space for kids.
Large neat and clean Park. Lots of space to.do out door activities. Kids really love this big park. Grass is well maintained. You can enjoy the beauty of Nature. Ducks float in the pond. Good place for BBQ in the summer with Family and friends.
The city keeps Rundle Park (and Goldbar & Science) in suuuch good condition, it is very appreciable! There are tennis courts and volleyball nets, and a fountain and many many BBQs for usage. On a good day, it's quite busy but the park is …
A great park to spent time with your family or alone. If you like to have a good trail walk this is the place
Awesome place for picnic, site seeing, kids playing. Many picnic sites with volleyball courts.
Nice park with lots of facilities. Be aware that there is a disc golf course towards the end of the entry road. So watch for flying discs.
Excellent trail that follows the river. Scenic and quiet place for a nice long stroll amongst the trees and the river. Started from the Ainsworth Dyer bridge and walked to the Strathcona Science center bridge; two hour walk, I recommend it.
beautiful park with a nice pond as well as lots of family activities. The park is surrounded by paved double track, as well as a dirt double track trail, perfect for runnning and cycling on road or mountain bikes. It doesnt get too busy either which is great. The ACT indoor pool remains closed after a fire.
Lots of beautiful sights. It's a fun hilly trek for biking
Awesome winter walking!
Nice place
Whenever we wanna go biking, this is the place we go!!! There's something about this place, that makes us feel safer... And the other things we like about this park, is that, this park has lots of trails to go to, for walking, biking, or hiking! It also connects to other Parks, which is really nice, because you don't have to drive around, to go to the other park!
Nature is good for the body and mind. This is the place to get lots of it. Rundle Park is a full service recreation area. From a main building with a gym, pool and meeting rooms to outdoor picnic tables, playground, mini golf, paddle …
This place has ok greenery but its surrounded by oil refineries and chemical plants on all sides. There was garbage absolutely everywhere. Plastic bottles caps, cigarette butts, plastoc food wrap, stickers, pages from books, streamers, duct tape. This place really sucks. It reflects bad on us as Edmontonians. I would recommend your local alleyway over this place. Yuck.
This park is beautiful, and yes it's big enough, also it has recreation activities in here so makes it attractive. There's a golf course here, other sports and also water activities center. There's a lot of water around and so there were a …
The park itself was good but the washrooms need an upgrade. The tap for instance should be changed as you need to hold it open with one hand while you wash your hands. Basically proper maintenance is needed for the washrooms, otherwise the park is a great location to have picnics and hang out with friends.
While the trails are all maintained, and the parks are nice...parts of Rundle are in disrepair and are quite ugly. The little lakes are all dry, so there's no water paddles and it is very overgrown. The buildings either are old and shut, or new and for maintenance. The disc golf course looks to be maintained. It's great to go hang out here, but it has seen better days. Even the minigolf shack burnt down, and the minigolf course is all overgrown.
Well maintained and great sledding hill. Kids have a great time here
A friend and I decided to go for a walk and meet 1/2 way between where we both live. Rundle Park was the destination that we chose and boy was it ever a good decision. We ended up walking for a couple of hours, it was so beautiful. Walking …
Great park to go to for a walk, run, bike, toboggan & cross country ski in the winter. IMHO the best thing about Edmonton is the parks and trail system we have. Go out there and check it out!
This place is great for photography, picnics and sports. Really easy to follow distancing and overall great place to get out of the house
Nice park, can be a little trashy but frisbee golf is great
Beautiful park with lovely trails, benches, picnic tables, disc golf course etc. I would highly suggest running as far away from the bathrooms as humanly possible though. I will pee in a bush from now on and risk jail rather than go into that disgusting building on a weekend. It looks like it is maintained once a day, and last time I went the toilet was clogged with feces high enough that it was in a pile over the rim of the toilet. All other stalls were taken, a child was peeing in the sink. Go to the bathroom before you visit this park.
Excellent place for outing
Great lil picnic today, loving the fall colors.... Nice place for family walks along the river and gatherings
Very good place for day picnic. Many trails & bridges to cross-river.
Great Walks for my Family and Pets! And so close to the dog park off leash. At any time of the year! ????
Best park in the city, well maintained with golf course, small ponds, 50 - 60 feet high rising water fountains. Needs improvement in roads, difficult for senior citizens
A very nice park with some thing for everyone, walking trails, playgrounds, skating in the winter, ballfields... It’s beautiful there any time of the year.
Its a great place to go anytime especially with family and friends. You never get bored at Rundle park there's always something good to explore. Complete outdoor experience without having to go out of city.
Went disc golfing there. It's an 18 hole fantastic course. Lots of dynamic holes. The only thing I'd recommend is, if it's going to be a hot day, going early before the crowd comes. Lots of people set up lawn chairs and picnics on the course and are unaware they are in the way. Otherwise its fantastic.
I love this park, we go here often. Not too crowded, lots of space, clean bathrooms and a great playground. I would give it 5 stars but they've drained the pond (maybe because they're not renting out boats during Covid?) And it gives it a bit of a run-down, disused kind of feel. But they have disc golf, tennis courts, football fields, ball diamonds, lots of bike and walking paths, and it connects to at least 3 other parks via bike/walking paths.
Great walking trails. We prefer to walk on the unpaved trail first to be in the nature area and see the water while walking. Then back on the paved way for different scenery. Always good wide paths to follow with the family. Dogs on leash, great walk for them too. Also a good kids park there as well.
Beautiful landscape. Good tree coverage if you don't get a site with a canopy. Lots of sites to choose from.
I live within walking distance of this massive park. There is frisbee golf, picnic sites, River views, and even sections of The Great Trail.
A beautiful walk with nature. We always find trees we hadn't encountered before. It is relaxing but miss the water fountains this year.
This park has been one of our favorites! Clean, nice bike trails as well. Some of the paths might need maintenance but still walkable, the other side of the park is under construction right now and the paddle boating and mini golf course …
Rundle park is my go to place for quick access and lovely walk along the River Valley after a day of work.
Amazing disc golf set up , it takes a few trys to get the course direction right as it is a little confusing but I assure you that the second you start getting it you will be flying high enjoying the very properly set up course and have many fellow disc golfers around to socialize and speak with among families that probably will wonder what you are doing as well . Usually pretty busy but for an active spot you always seem to have your own space .
My go-to park for a beautiful scenic walk across a bridge or a picnic in the park since I was a baby! Love rundle park!
I've only been here during the winter, but I love the ice trails and rinks they've made. There's benches, tables and firepits available right next to the ice trails which is really nice. Great place to go skating, have a fire and roast some hot dogs
Took my cat here it was her first time out in the world, she had a good time. Lol
Perfect course for beginners. Affordable for families. Best to walk this course and either bring a walking cart or rent one. The cost to rent an actual golf cart isn't worth it for this course. I always love going to this golf course though at times there can be quite a backlog of golfers at some holes as they aren't as strict as some courses about keeping pace with the rest of the golfers.
This winter, you can find a large number of geese not migrate to the South , ????, even beaver playing on the North Saskatoon river. There are very good trails around the park area. Easy parking. You can do a lot of activities such as flying disc, skiing ????.
Fairly relaxing even with hyper active school kids around. The pond was filled which was a first for me and added to the experience, with the ducks and geese and other waterfowl. Not as busy tucked away at the eastern end of the city perhaps qualifies as a hidden gem.
Nice trails to walk around and also for all the bike riders. The only update I feel like giving these days is the family parking lot is closed due to some construction going on. Please refer to the picture posted.
Beautiful, long trails. So many trees with nice paved trails, plenty of picnic tables/bbq pits, and even an off leash river trail nearby. I would love for the path to get patched up in places where the tree roots have bulged the path, to make it more wheelchair accessible, but otherwise a beautiful area!
Very spacious, well maintained, lovely scenery along the pathways. There are also tennis courts and baseball diamonds ready to use. Picnic areas, play areas and more are on offer for visitors to the park.
Great park! Lots of people using it this last weekend. Walking trails are awesome! Bikes use them too.. so keep an ear open
