This Park belongs to the category of Park.
Beautiful place with a great view if the weather is right you can see the Toronto's skyline from here.
Nice quiet place on the lake complete with an off leash park.
Small but cute, has a play area for kids.
Good park for family walk. Lakeside park has pedestrian path, little pond, picnic area, playground and splash pad. This park also offers year-round restroom facilities and ample parking. Strollers and Wheelchairs accessible.
This is a great park to view the Sunset and to go on a walk by the beautiful lakeshore. Too many bugs so be prepared to fight them ????
Nice park for Humans, but the humans don't keep it clean for the canines - the off leash area is a poop depot
Nice park, pleasant to walk around
Beautiful view
Very popular and sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the crowds, bikes & strollers but well worth it. Late weekday evenings & early am most conducive for runs or walks. Pier often closed with no access during heavy storms & winter. Parking always challenging. Cycling alternate option and can link back to Lakeshore on the waterfront trail.
It is a nice place to visit for couple of hours . There is a lot to be done to make the place more attractive and point of attraction .
nice and quiet place. Good for quick walk
This park is a hidden treasure. From the beautiful cobble beach to the leash free area. There's something for everyone here
A very popular park for a short morning walk, also a nice place for kids to play. No matter what season or what kind of weather, snowing, raining, foggy, autumn, spring... it is always a place for you to have a peaceful mind
Beautiful quiet corner to relax and enjoy a nice sunday
Decent park. Not terribly big. Washrooms and some good paths. Would definitely go to a different park if you have a big group.
Very cold today but still enjoy it.
Nice park by the lake in Mississauga. Walking and biking trails. Covered picnic areas with BBQs. Lots of free parking.
An evening walk along the trail has a good view of the waterfront. Sounds of birds above and water splashes against the concrete is calming. Good place to just sit and relax and do nothing.
Quiet, small park along lakeside path in Old Oakville at mouth of Sixteen Mile Creek
This was a really cool place for riding my bike around in the snow.So many views and trails everywhere was something cool to see.I really enjoyed here and is on the top of my lists for parks on the lakeshore to visit!
Wonderful place for a walk, especially in autumn.
Great place for a walk with your dog.
Clean park with nice views. Plenty of places to sit and relax or historic building to view.
Beautiful Park with interesting Red Beach, formed from dumped ceramic shingles and brick. Nature made from the waste something really special. At the entrance to the park there are the "dancing fountains" - great place to play for kids. You can have a nice, short trail along the lakeshore. It's picturesque and full of wide flowers. Very recommend.
Beautiful park for walking and cycling at the Lakefront. Great playground and huge splash pad in season.
Very clean and peaceful. BBQs and picnics are permitted
Nice splash pad, playground, sand box and the beach. The beach isn't designed for swimming though.
This is a perfect time of year to go. Oakville has done a fantastic job of creating and maintaining this park over the years. Making it a safe space for all to enjoy.
Nice park for a walk along the lake. There is a dog park so the parking lot is pretty busy.
Lovely park with picnic areas and open spaces. Great play park for the kids too.
Nice clean. Beautiful sights. Limited parking.
Great place to read a book, hang out, enjoy the view and fish when they let you.
Beautiful place, right on the lake, a few activities for the kids to do.
Big, clean and vibrant park. Kids friendly and picnic area too
wonderful place to visit with kids or for cycling. Nice place to spend some time in the evening.
Easy access, magnificent scenery, the Sun and Moon rises, especially for photos capturing and relaxing by the lakeshore benches, amazing place, also the museum when it starts to have visitors in after the pandemic
Clean, well laid out park with water features for the kids, an off leash area for the dogs and lots of shoreline to explore. Nice place to go for a stroll with your honey.
Very Nice Park! Only missing a splash pad and bbq opportunities.
Very pretty. Parking mere steps from the lake. Educational plaques for learning.
Beautiful area with a lovely ambiance and a super cool park for kiddos.
It's an amazing place for kids to play in and it has three different types of playground and there is a small waterpark it's really nice!!
(Re)Discovered this place after around 8 years. Our very own backyard...#Oakville
Loved it, fantastic place
Beautiful place to go for a short stroll
Very nice place for walks or to watch the boats
Very clean park. The beach has stones apart from sand. Fun to throw stones into the water but its advised to wear shoes or sandels since there can be very sharp glass or rocks
Photogenic spot for pictorials
Very peaceful. Great spot to view Sunrise !
Beautiful little park, that held some photogenic gems
Beautiful park for picnics, alone time, a walk...its just amazing. Sitting in the shade while listening to the waves hitting the rocks will make you fall asleep, a guarantee that lol. It's a lovely place to be.
Beautiful red stone beach. Very unique.
Reminds me of A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte in the summer
Love this park! People are very friendly. Nice splash pad and park as well.
Just about the perfect size, good seats
Very beautiful place... The lake view is splendous. Gets quite busy on the weekend. Has a splash pad... And few benches to sit upon. Its maintained really well. Would live to go again and again.
Meaford has nice piecefull beach view.
I love the park’s layout, splash pad and clean shoreline. There’s a lot of play area and great games. I love it’s tranquility and the fact that it’s not hush-hush.
My family has been coming here since the city overhauled the space. But this year half the splashpad works, and is very disappointing. The playground here is great though.
Very clean and new park, great place for kids and for walking dogs. The playground structure is great, it’s hard to find similarly fun ones in sauga these days. Love the off leash dog park the most!
Very nice place for kids and families
Great views!
The kids like it. Nice park by the lake to hike, watch the nature or just relax at the shore. Strongly recommended during the summer.
Great park for kids
Nice place to walk around or ride a bike
Nice park bit the factory makes it bad but it has amazing Lake view
My kids and I love the splash pad and lake side view.
One of our favorite place to go for a relaxing afternoon picnic. Kid and dog friendly and great paths for hiking and biking.
Pretty area with the lighthouse and a small marina
Great park for lakeshore stroll with family
Great place to go. If you don't get space @ jack darling
I love this place but wish it had more picnic areas.
Great place to see the sunrise! The rocks by the water are pretty.
Nice park ,barb allowed ,clean washroom , but small and limited parking capacity
Lots of green space in the summer and a waterfront for some long walks. Always fun to take the little ones down to feed the ducks. Clean; accessible.
A little slice of heaven with breathtaking views of Lake Ontario. Enjoy a stroll along the unique cobble stone beach popping with colour!
This park is very nice. I was amazed at hiw big rhe park was. Usually i would just sit in the lot but wow.
Amazing place! Playground, washrooms, trail, splash pad and breezy beach perfect for the hot summer days! Highly recommend it!
Huge tree shades at lake side with nearby parking and amenities spot...great bbq pits for that perfect summer picnic
Great park!!! I've come here a few times. Always clean.
Good place for family outing and BBQ.
Beautiful view. Lot of parking space. You can cook your food or BBQ. Off leache dog park also available.
Dogs , people, water, and wind .
Great way to let your dog play and get your steps in
Nice little kids park. BBq for picnics, washrooms available, trail for running and bike, splash pads available as well and lake view with man made beach of old broken clay pipes (is amusing).
Standing by the lake is extremely peaceful. The trails are okay though.
A great park for sight seeing. Phenomenal neighborhood.
Its lake side, park with all facilities like kids play, splash pad, bbq, fishing n ample parking,
My three-year-old and seven-year-old like this playground a lot. The highlights are the artificial rock face to climb up to the slide and the carrousel & spider climber combo. It’s a nice place to go and bring some takeout for an easy fun spring/summer dinner. They also like running up the staircase for a view of the whole area. We haven’t use the paths for biking but we plan to come back and do that too.
This place is near to Oakville Museum! Great place to go if you like to learn about something's that used to take place in history.
One of my favorite places in Oakville
Great place to do open water swim - check out LOST Swimming. It is cold in June but gets much warmer later in the season!
Came here in December for a walk. this is a really nice clean park with plenty of amenities. see the map. plenty of free parking with 3 lots. the washrooms are next to the main parking lot. it is spacious and heated in the winter and they are clean. the playground is large with activities for all age groups. lots of benches to sit around. there is an off leash dog area on the east side of the park. the park is next to cobble beach with its unique red clay cobbles. fun to skip rocks. the waterfront trail connects with this park if you're cycling. there is a bike repair station along the path.
Too much flies and mosquitoes but other than that it's a very nice park
Great place to relax
It was clean, very pretty with lake and the trees, info about the stones, pleasantly beautiful.
The park is lovely and enjoyable to walk in, but there are a lot of mosquitoes there in the spring and summer. Also playground is available for children.
The park has great views of Lake Ontario and Toronto. A peaceful retreat from the city
what a great place to sit and enjoy my morning coffee.
This park is beautiful, especially in the summer when the animals are about. If you get a chance, walk by the pier at night for some stargazing and cityscape views of Toronto.
Nice place for a day at the water front. Lot of other activities for kids. Awsome Splash pad
Highly recommend
Gotta love the sunsets here. Saw some sunflowers
Beautiful area and amazing view. Can see the CN tower across the lake!
Nice lakeside walk. Unfortunately, sections of the lakeside have been fenced off or otherwise rendered inaccessible by private owners, so the walk is not very continuous.
The playground is organized. Seating areas come with tables, shaded and big enough for families. The beach is stony but nice to sit and watch the nice view (You need a thick mat if you wanna sit on the beach). I loved it. Recommended.
Safe with toddlers and good for hiking and biking by the lake, has splash pad which keeps little kids cool off from summer heat.
Great park for family
It's a great place to have a picnic or take a short stroll to the lake. There's lots of interesting things to see and read about. It's also great to take kids to what with the splash pad and play ground. It's a busy place on the weekends and in the evenings when the weather is nice so get there early.
Great place to spend an evening with family.
Good park to relax and enjoy with family
It is great that the city supports dog owners by providing leash-free parks. What is a pain is that many of them are inaccessible in the summer as all parking spaces are filled by people who are visiting the nearby "human" parks. Great for them, but the dog park is empty. More parking is needed.
Great views with easy access, can't walk/run a long length along the water unfortunately, too many rocks for fishing as well
Beautiful place to visit
Puppies love to run & play, I love my puppies, everyday!
A beautiful waterfront park with a big playground. There is also a long bike trail and plenty space for BBQ and activities. Plus, nice view of the lake with lots of red rocks on the beach.
Awesome place to spend time with family. Kids will definitely enjoy it
When I lived in Oakville I always come here to take a walk, it’s really pretty in the summer and night.
Great place to relax on a sunny day
Would be perfect if there is a washroom nearby.
Beautiful view overall but it became very busy lately, almost impossible to find a parking spot and people leave a lot of trash behind. Such a pity.
Great location for photography if you want a simple landscape by the water. Golden hour is perfect because the sun sets away from the horizon of the lake, making the lighting excellent. There are huge rocks around the area, as well as a pier and lighthouse. Definitely one of my favorite photography locations.
Very beautiful park..
Nice view!! My son loves to play rock skipping as the rocks at this park are good for that.
Nice quiet park, good place to take your dog too because it has a leash free space.
Good park, with splash pads and playground. Very calm area, there's a place for dogs unleashed.
Been here many times and always a good place to come to everyso often to enjoy the water.
Beautiful place. You can see the CN tower from the pier. Great spot to sit in nature. Not too busy despite being downtown Oakville
Wonderful place to have some rest during hot summer
Good to spend with family or by yourself
Beautiful place for a stroll. We visited during night, but will be definitely visiting during day time. Close to the downtown Oakville area for lots of food options.
A beautiful park by the lake, this place is a gem to walk through. Parking is tight on the streets during summer peak times. I come here to get away from it all. Just up the street is a strip of stores that reminds me of Mississauga's Port …
Great spot to have a coffee and read a book
Good lake views.
Very nice view of GTA.
Nice splash pad and playground also great place for BBQ
Great place with a beautiful view of the waterfront. But in the spring when there is no wind there are so many bug they will cover your whole body.
Great day out with the family. Kids loved the splash pad, not too busy
Kids love the Splash pad. Lake view is scenic.
Place was pleasent and must visit on full moon day!! It was lovely.
I like this place we went first time over here for eveing walk.
Very nice to walk around and take nice pictures. There is a spot where you can see Toronto. Super nice for sunset pictures.
One of my favorite places to go after a lunch and browsing the shops on Lakeshore. The walk to there is just so pretty with old trees and lovely houses with nostalgic architecture. Walking the path to the end of the short pier on a beautiful day is always a highlight. There is also a children's playground and an old post office and house to walk through.
Great place, lots of open space, nice lake to skip rocks or walk.
A hidden gem in Oakville. Located east end of Oakville. You will easily miss if you are driving towards Mississauga on Lakeshore Road. Nice little family park with play area with splash pad for children . Trails to walk & bike.
Nice place to spend the weekend with the family. But only few parking lots
To many people not a bidding by the distancing rule .It only takes once ...
I liked it here. It's not a traditional beach but the views here were nice. This place is in Oakville by the Petro Canada plant. I wouldn't swim here but it a nice place to eat some lunch by the shore line. There are also nicely paved trails to walk, run or ride.
Nice park with good lake view
Beautiful place. Love it and relaxing
Loved this place!!! On a Sunday morning barely anyone and it felt so peaceful. Decent parking spots. Just walking along the lake feels so awesome. Close to downtown. Most places were closed but I assume this place will be wonderful for a nice brunch and later walk along the lake.
Oakville is for Lovers! ????????
I like this park nice place to visit
Great park with something for kids of all ages. A nice splash pad and lake access!
Nice family park.
Nice place to have a walk but be kind to the local residents and care about the privacy. Good place for couples but may be not for the kids ???????? Cliks from this morning June 6 2021
Your doggies will love the size of the park, fresh water supply and bevvy of friends to mingle with. This park has been a long time favorite of ours, tucked away on Lakeshore road just east of Winston Churchill Boulevard on the border between Oakville and Mississauga. you can enjoy a walk around the park perimeter watching your animal as they play with other "guests". Lakeside park is much more thana dog park, it's also a nice place to kick back, have a walk, a picnic, or just enjoy some time beside the lake. Lots to do in Clarkson as well as downtown Oakville which are only minutes away.
Nice place to go for a walk. Good local businesses.
Incredibly beautiful place~
Absolutely love Lakeside park. Been coming here since I was a kid. Absolutely beautiful.
Good view. Nice for walk. Parking may be an issue on long weekends.
Awesome views of the lake!
Excellent place to go for a nice walk the sunsets and sunrises are amazing. One of my favorite places to fly my drone
It's one of the best park in Mississauga. Lots of space for playing and barbecue. Lake side view is fabulous.
Love walking along side lake Ontario
Not too bad of a park. The kids splash pad is great on hot days.
The best view of the lake I've ever been, clean and simply amazing ????
Beautiful park. I wish there were more picnic tables, seats to rest. When is Mississauga going to construct public swimming beaches areas ?
Really nice lake view there. There's also a small playground for kids.
Beautiful green open space. First time there It was an amazing private little spot. Wonderful. Issues being very close to factories and garbage was scattered along the beach area. All kinds of birds were about and poor diversity of trees and plant life. Park and paths were very clean and well maintained. But i wish this place would put the same amount of care into the natural preservation as they do with everything else.
I would give it 5stars if it had a swimable beach area. This is a smaller park so there isn't a whole lot of parking space.
Beautiful place for a stroll on a sunny day.
Great lakeshore, beautiful scenery, clean public washroom and great place for bbq.
Nice spot. Interesting little free museum
It's beautiful. I just wish I had more time to explore. I did notice a dog park.
My summer spot for meditation and fun
The park is beautiful and you can spend few hours here. A nice trail if you like to walk or run. There is area for the younger kids to enjoy swings or other things you see in other parks and kids love to enjoy water area to cool them off during hot days. There are benches by the trail to relax. Picnic area with barbecues or you can bring your own. Beautiful view of lake and I have seen people fishing.
Very nice view. Beautiful . But no clean. Too much dog weast
Amazing Park with lack view and yachts
Beautiful, quiet place located in old town of Oakville, right by the lake Ontario. There are playgrounds for kids, walking trail, a light house and an old preserved post office from 1835!!!!!! Parking is on the streets so keep circling on one way streets until you get lucky!
No parking. The city has to do something about parking near these parks. Splash pad is clean and lots of fun. Park is large enough to allow social distancing, beach area is tiny and way too rocky. The shore was dirty, full of sea debris and feathers, wish it was a bit cleaner to allow for some soaking.
Great place for a quick relaxation or to have a picnic with friends or family. Also a good place to take photos.
Great little scenic place
Very clean, well kept up, lots of pinic tables
My fave go to place Love it
RIP Neil Peart Midway hawkers calling, "Try your luck with me" Merry-go-round wheezing the same old melody A thousand ten-cent wonders who could ask for more A pocketful of silver, the key to heaven's door Lakeside Park, willows in the breeze Lakeside Park, so many memories Laughing rides, midway lights Shining stars on summer nights Days of barefoot freedom, racing with the waves Nights of starlit secrets, crackling driftwood flames Drinking by the lighthouse, smoking on the pier Still we saw the magic was fading every year Lakeside Park, willows in the breeze Lakeside Park, so many memories Laughing rides, midway lights Shining stars on summer nights Everyone would gather on the 24th of May Sitting in the sand to watch the fireworks display Dancing fires on the beach, singing songs together Though it's just a memory, some memories last forever
Lovely park. Families can do picnic, has big splash pad. Heaven for the dogs and owners, because it has a off leash park as well.
Great place for a fun family outing. Lake view is super awesome for spending a quiet time.
Small cosy park. Nice views but over corwded on the weekend
Interesting beach but full of garbage. They should leave some bins around.
Cute park, a few too many mosquitoes for my liking
It's a tiny little park, tucked away between a factory and factory HQ... But it's such a wonderful place to have! It has just about everything you may want: places to picnic, places to sit and stare at the lake, places to bbq, and places to play! There is a fountain area that kids absolutely love! And when the ice cream truck is there... Fun times! But keep in mind that this park is quite small, and parking is limited!
Good for an evening walk. Not that crowded. Enough parking space
It's just a beautiful lakeside park with a wide view. Tourists are usually not many, very quiet, there are small children's playgrounds, small squares paved with tiles, can skate on the top, drive remote control cars, etc. There are also places for barbecues. Along the stone ladder, there is a small hillside, the top of which can provide a bird's eye view of the park panorama and vision. The lakeside is far-sighted, full of endless Lake water, suddenly feel open-minded.
It was a nice experience as usual. We spent some time throwing stones across the water and then went to the pier. Though it was a holiday, the crowd was manageable and everyone kept their distance and stayed with their group. Quite a relaxing time.
this a cute and pretty ittle park. It's not too busy and so quiet. It's the perfect place to stop and breathe, take in the view of the Toronto skyline. They have some benches, so sit back, relax, and reflect on the meaning of life.
Amazing place for the whole family. The revamped old city "king street" is a nice place to have some walk as well after enjoying your sweets.
Very beautiful park. Do go there at night. There is no lights at all
Natural view of lake and good place of enjoyment for kids.
DOGS MEETING ! Let give your dog meet dogs !!!!!
Very Beautiful place for kids and adults .. Kids Enjoy the splash pad and swings... While adults can rest and enjoy the rocky beach side
Beautiful park, close to downtown restaurants and activities.
Not enough covered seating by playground. Usually very muddy
No parking and picnic table. Good for local people. Parking is only for 2 hrs. I drove there for 1hrs. And you can't find parking. I don't know if thay have washrooms.
Gorgeous park. So clean and extra pretty. Beautiful sunsets to watch at.
I got my daughter's hair cut today, and oh Lord.... WOW amazing and I love the time spent on her hair ????????
One of the coolest lakeshore parts of GTA.
Nice spot for enjoying the lake. Highly recommended to take a date and enjoy each other.
My kids love this park,
So serene.
Coming along nicely. Great views today.
Great place for the weekend with beautiful lake view.
Beautiful views... a nice escape close to home.
It's a good place to play with kids on the playground, to launch a kite from the shore or simply take a walk. There's access to water. Washrooms and lots of parking space available.
So beautiful ❤️
Really nice and big park!... kids splash pad.. jungle gym... covered area for picnics with bbq stations. Fenced in dog run as well.
Great view. Amazing nature
A lot space for your beloved dogs running around leash free safely!
Beautiful park!! On the lakeshore outskirts of town!!!
Rustic and quiet place to relax and picnic. Has dog park too.
This is a great place for having a picnic by the lake, there is usually a gentle breeze, and is a great place for walking including having a pier lighthouse. Also a great place for pokestops, and especially gyms as their are like 4-5ish in a relatively small area.
Beautiful and vast space with some street parking nearby, tons of seating, and public washrooms near the street. Basically every bench faces the water, lots are in shaded areas, and every bench is spaced out from other benches, allowing for privacy (and physical distancing). I went there for the first time on a Sunday morning with a friend and the view of the sunlight sparkling on the water was brilliant and healing. My dog has some socialization issues and while there were lots of dogs around, we were able to get some distance at certain benches. I will be coming back! (I have no photos to share because I was too busy enjoying it to photograph things. Haha. But trust me: it's gorgeous.)
Water is not clean smell alot
Tucked serenely, towards the southern end of Erin Mills Parkway, this park offers a perfect combination, peace of thick woods and pleasantry of the lake-side. Excellent spot for an evening stroll and for day-in-the-park with family on the week-ends. On a bright sunny day you can see as far as the Hamilton skyline
Love going to the dog park. My labs always have a great time. Fun dogs and the place is very well maintained
We went to see the lake and the sunset and it was absolutely beautiful! ???????????????? There was also a fun playground for kids!
Amazing park especially at sunset time
Amazing open park with beautiful view of the lake. Good playground for the kids and great for family picnics.
Beautiful park! They have many massive pavilions that you and your family can sit under and enjoy the outdoors without the small things of nature (sun rays, wind, etc) distracting you. When you go along the trail, you'll find a beautiful little pebble shore that is highly photogenic for all the instagram lovers! There is also a splash pad for the kids to enjoy themselves as well, along with a walking trail and playground. Basically, fun for everyone of all ages of the family! Best part about it is no entry or parking fee! Such a beautiful place that asks for nothing in return, what more could you want!
Good place for a swimming, should wear tight shoes for getting into the water. Lake bottom is full of stones. Won't be able to walk in the water without proper shoes
amazing place to be, especcially on weekends
Very peaceful
Amazing place to relax and enjoy the views
Beautiful area, it is a must to visit, to walk around is great, to see the gorgeous houses and their gardens
This is a nice place to bring kids and dogs - there's plenty of park amenities and a sprinkler area where kids can play, as well as a dog park for your furry pal. There's also a nice trail alongside Lakeshore and a red stone area by the lake that you can walk on as well.
Beautiful Park and beach
A nice little park with access to the trail. Always less busy than Jack Darling park.
For those looking for a nice walk this is the place to be! Walking by the waterside, leash free area for dog owners, water park for children, picnic areas and accessible washrooms. Must visit!
Lovely place. Amazing weather!! People respecting social distance
Small but nice for skipping stones on the beach.
Small and quite park to take some rest and relax
Small park but lots of shade and a water park for kids
Small. Quiet. Long pier to walk on
All inclusive: playground, splash pad, BBQ areas, access to the lake, bike paths, loads of shaded areas, and there's usually an ice cream truck around. Amazing time always.
Beautiful view with fresh air, plus nice plants.
Nice quiet park by lake Ontario!
Great place to hang out and chill. The lighthouse was closed but the rest of the place was clean and serene.
Water wasn't clean and was smelling bad.
Nice place. Not as good as jack darling park but less busy
Very nice!
beautiful spot to enjoy a nice view of the Lake. nice place to spend quality time with your family or just bring your kids to play around. The have splash, sand area, swings slides, plenty of fun for kids. if you one to relax you may find some spot where to chill out.
Nice family park with lake view.
Small park with red “stone” on the beach. Great for pictures
Amazing little park by the lake, children playground, BBQ stand and a nice tiny rock beach
A nice natural space to enjoy a cool lake breeze or just stroll down the waterfront. There is an excellent splash pad and playground for the whole family. Also BBQ are available in the picnic area. Please keep COVID-19 precautions in mind as this park gets quite busy.
Good place to spend your time with family and kids. the parking lot might get full on weekends and holidays sometime though
Nice place to go and feel the breeze from Lake Ontario.
Nice place for a hike, and to take your dog. Or have a nice picnic with the family. the beach is all rocks and there is lots of garbage from the lake. Not very romantic for the special one. During sping time i see like hundreds of geese fly by the area.
Amazing place to walk and very peaceful, can listen to waves sound
Nice views and descently quiet. Got really busy when the Pokemo GO craze was going on but now it is quiet again.
Awesome little park by lakeside. Redstones near the lkae instead of mud
Great place to walk along the lake, very relaxing
Watch out when you park
Great place for a picnic, to skip rocks... when the water is a bit more calm but the kids had fun
Nice place, recommended for friends and family.
Beautiful clean place to play and enjoy time with the family. Great facilities. Includes a splash pad and access to the water and a water front biking trail.
Beautiful and serene by the water, on weekends the park is a mess with people littering. My kids and I often go there to pick up and recycle
A great place to have a walk and sit and enjoy the view of Lake Ontario. Also some great spots for Instagramming! Child friendly and a picnic spot. Or just a place to sit and people watch and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Small leash free park but still in a nice, quiet location by the water. The dogs enjoy it just the same!
Park is good for kids play. View is great. You can see Niagara in the lake and Toronto downtown.
Landslide park with children playground, fountains and fenced unleashed dog area.
Great place for family fun outdoors
It's a park with some nice views of the lake. I wish there is something more lively and entertaining here. More Lighting, Some performers and cotton candy I guess.
A beautiful park with wonderful views on the lake and Toronto skyline! Perfect for a relaxing walk on a Sunday afternoon!
Well it's a red rock beach that mostly empty all the time and clean water for most of the time
It's a beautiful place with open parks to sit and do barbque. Sprinkler, beach , kids play area . A very good place to do a family outing.
Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views
Very good park with beach and kids play area with splash pad. Limited parking. Good bbq spot.
Nice view I like it, also there's a playground for children from 5 to 12
I loved this place, too many flying bugs, biking trail, free parking
Nice place to enjoy with the children or for a romantic walk. There is a playground for the children and lots of benches for the adults.
A lovely small spot to take a walk, relax and feel the breeze. But it’s way too windy in November. Remember to put on proper clothes if you plan a visit! Parking is desirable on the roadside and it is 2 hours limit.
A park within walking distance of downtown Oakville. On sunny days, it is crowded with many people, but early in the morning, the lighthouse at the end of the Pier and the trails are less crowded.
Very nice park with a playground, a nice pier, waterside trail and spots to sit and relax. We really had a great time especially looking at the old houses on the coast. There is street parking available and the downtown is walking distance.
Nice park, but it is very hard to find a parking spot ????
Beautiful park by the lake . My kids liked to play there.
Well maintained park and great dogs around.
Great spot to take your entire family
Good place for the kids to play and love the view
Beautiful on a beautiful day. I was riding my bike all over and went down to lakeside, nice and refreshing. Could just stay there till it freezes over. Loved it. Clean and fresh.
Lovely park with some great views over the water and benches to relax. Beautiful flower gardens and some nice historic houses.
The kids had a great time here, lots of play structures for older and younger kids. Lush and green paths. Large splash pad so there's lots of room to run around.
Fall in love with this place. Peaceful. Not crowded. Great playground. Public washroom near here. Lot of parking space close to the park. It’s a perfect place to spend time with family as well as to be here alone.
Great for kids: has a big splash pad and park, lots of areas for picnic. One big covered area for large group bbq. Clean washrooms! The beach is rocky, but great for kids to try and skip rocks on water or go on a rock treasure hunt. Sometimes you'll see a big sediment ship in the distance which is pretty cool. Has a bike path that i think connects to other nearby parks as well...or at least it's a decent length for a short ride.
No beach area. Very stoney water front. Love the picnic facilities Saw a few charcoal BBQ. Very handy to know.Awsome walking trails along the water front ideal for cyclist and baby push chairs (prams)
Great park, the fresh air breeze from the lake was very nice.
Tiny park tiny port few people a lot of seagulls, take a walk? Yes. Visit? No
Great splash pad for kids, a leash free dog park, and history of Mississauga themed climbing structure for kids. And the lake.
It's a beautiful place to visit in evening
This is a great place for throwing rocks into the lake.
This is a pretty decent park. I suggest to anyone who would like to have a great spot infront of the park to be there around 8 A.M . water park and off leash area for the dogs are just a few steps away yet nice and private. feel free to
That’s my girl spot, she is like obsessed with DT Oakville ????????
Great place to spend time with your family.
Beautiful place for relaxing
The premises are well kept, and it's a really nice spot for both adults and kids.
The park is beautifully laid out with a modern playground and magnificent view. The lighthouse itself compliments the park well.
Love this park, good for kids, good for dogs, view, photos, history, there is the light house, beach to throw some rocks, and the small museum of Oakville.
A cool and neat environment to relax, the place is save and people around the place are very friendly.
Solid park.
Beautiful ❤️❤️
Always a lovely getaway....
Used to go for leash free area because of my dog but now starting to use the park as well. It's excellent for family outdoor activities. Or just for running too. Both areas are well maintained. Sufficient parking space too.
Such a Great park it is not busy you can find the spot easily here and enjoy the view
Beautiful view of Lake Ontario! Also great place to play Pokémon Go!
Beautiful view of the lake and downtown Toronto
Nice Park with my best friends
Love the place
Beautiful park at the edge of the lake. So much history in the area.
Nice place, small dog park within; not the freshest air due to the numerous industrial plants in the area.
One of the most beautiful parks in Oakville area. Great place to walk along the lake Ontario with playground for kids and a nice strip of boutiques and restaurants in walking distance. Must visit place during spring, summer and fall season with friends and/or family.
Recommend visiting this place it’s just so peaceful and quiet
Superb. Very clean. Free parking if you are lucky. Please keep it clean. Take no plastic bottles and use trash cans available there. Thank you.
Nice quiet area to walk. There's a dog park adjacent as well. There's a playground and you can cross the fence to get right up to the water on the clay beach. Had fun skipping rocks with the kids and running around.
Lovely shade trees and beautiful rocks on the beach. The 2 old buildings are interesting.
I went there with my dog to walk for 10 minutes they gave me a $60 parking ticket, believe me it did not take even 10 minutes
Stunning landscape beautiful small Harbour and lighthouse closet nice restaurants and shops nearby
Really nice park. Lots of pokestops
We Like ylthe place, very clean and quite areas with a safe kids play
A small but decent park on shores of Lake Ontario. The big issue is parking especially on weekends as only roadside limited parking is available
This park is amazing for kids! The water splash place is so fun!
One of the nicest parks overlooking the sea
Its a pleasant park with lakeshore in front of you. I good spot for your walk.
Great place for a relaxing walk and view of Lake Ontario. Minutes away from downtown Oakville, this trail is great for a relaxing afternoon of lunch nearby and walking! Be sure to visit the area with stackable rocks near the lighthouse!
Pretty park to bring your kids, dog or significant other too. And even just yourself!
Not a big place for walking or cycling. But good picnic spot
This review for the Off Leash Dog park only. Originally a 3 star rating, I’ve bumped it up to 4 now. I thought it was best for large dogs because my medium sized dog was overwhelmed by the number of larger dogs which sometimes run around in groups. Now I’ve seen the light and realize it was my dog and I lack of inexperience which impacted my review . I can now say we feel very comfortable with the large dogs the park attracts. They will play with my dog now and put him in his place when necessary, they don’t bite only bark. I was also not a big fan of dog walkers bringing their packs with them however I now like it because the dogs quickly figure out who wants to play and who doesn’t. So the more dogs the better. The down side is that’s it’s a fairly wide open, flat, area with little shade. For something much more like a hike/walk, drive over to Jack Darling which is ~5 minutes away. J.D. also has a park for small dogs; after going to the parks for a number of months now I that section is likely best for puppies under a year old. I see lots of small dogs At Lakeside with big dogs and I really haven’t seen any issues.
Wow. It's a awesome park. Good place to spend time with family and friends.
Awesome and quite place
It's a decent park to visit. Parking is a bit of an issue.
One of the most beautiful view of Lake Ontario in GTA. Beautiful 18th century buildings, nice walk from the park to the light house. Highly recomended for a walk on a quiet weekday morning in spring or fall.
Clean, lots of benches, shade sun and fresh air with magnificent view. ????
My favorite park. Located by the lake with a playground, lighthouse and access to the water. People who visit this park are polite and friendly. Walking ???? distance to oakville dt.
Clean place to enjoy with your family or friends
Such interesting rock and old clay pipes. Need to explore more of this coastline.
One of the best near by park to our home...
Excellent park. Kids playground and splash pad. Great paved trails
Amazing place. You'll never get bored of going there.
Has everything you need. Not as busy as other parks. Splash pad, playground (one with sand and other with wood chips), by the lake, nice trails, washrooms.
Enjoy a marvellous night in this Summer!
Lovely place with splash water, the only downside is that there is no sand beach.
Very nice park for families, wonderful for kids. With nice water splash. The walk way is great for bikes.
Awesome park for young and old. Splash pads dog area picnic area trails parking clean restrooms.
Great waterfront trail right beside Lakeside Park.
Fun..but no sand ..just Rick's at the beach. Had a great playground!
Welp, went fishing here and just as I set up park guys came here and set up signs that say NO fishing. Just be aware of that if you come here thinking to try and fish. Otherwise, it's a nice park with a really nice view of Lake Ontario.
Nice place but very busy
Beautiful park. Nice place to take a walk and fun for kids too. There are washrooms, a modern park with spinning activities and a small splash pad.
Very quiet and lovely place, very clean
Hidden gem, gland I found it!. Thought rocky shore would be an issue but actually unique in its own right. Curious to see how park would be with splash pad when allowed ton reopen.
Quite big ! Two way path for bicycle riders! Swings and fountains for kids! Overall its Worthy! Cool & peaceful place!!
This park always has a lot of people and because there’s not much space to go with groups. Arrive a little early.
Great place to walk the dog and enjoy the water. Park system is very well maintained.
Great place to be with family to relax and have fun.. lots of trees and grass to sit in the shade..
Wonderful park for kids and adults as well, ???? area and more
Nice view and good place to relax. Many people in the weekend though.
Beautiful place
Amazing park having splashpad and variety of playing areas suits most ages and Barbecue allowed, ice cream truck and sandwich truck are there also for the kids to enjoy ???? but park slots are very limited, would have given it 5 stars if it had decent parking
Nice place to relax. I never saw this place crowded.
Great little park with a great walk along the lake. It is a bit of a hidden gem.
Nice park by the lakefront. Has a large off leash dog area and a splash pad in the summer.
Good. Has a great play area for kids. However, the uncovered benches are all placed under trees that have some tennis ball type of fruit.... which during summer falls off the trees. It is remarkable if no one has been seriously hurt yet. We had infants in strollers and had to leave the shade of the trees due to safety risk. Elderly should also avoid sitting under these trees. Too risky.
Beautiful park, Charlie loves the dog park there. Everyone is friendly. Lots of great changes from when I was a kid.
Nice place for visitors with kids and 4 legged friends, great splash pad, lots of play equipment, sand and lots of grass and trees, access to the lake Ontario. Some noise from nearby industrial area, but not really bothersome.
Love it, unlike jack darling not crowded on a sunny day
Good place to visit if you live in GTA and don’t want to travel a lot. I would suggest to visit here on weekdays because on weekends this place is fully packed. Nice place for children to play. Also, if you’re planning a family picnic or get-together, you can visit here.
Park not maintained. Every bench every chair has huge spiders and huge spider webs. People are feeding the waterfall therefore there is feces all over. We also encountered either a fox or a coyote. Used to be an awesome place to take a stroll
Great for a evening stroll and a dog park nearby - Unfortunately, people have started excessively littering the place.
Amazing playground area for kids
Nice park, mature trees, great walks along the shore. The stones are perfect for skipping!
Really scenic and peaceful place
Awesome experience. The light house, birds and shoreline path makes surreal.
Lakeside Park in Oakville is very beautiful. Downtown oakville is at 5 mins walking distance. Very nice ambience and place. Good to spend an evening with family/friends. Cobbled street of downtown is too good. Wish it was pedestrian only area. Nice quaint shops, boutique stores, coffee shops and restaurants. Very vibrant and lively
The Lakeside park is a lovely location to access Lake Ontario. The beach is full of clay stones, makes for a very pretty viewing, but slightly difficult to navigate for toddlers and elderly. Sunrise here is breathtaking, check out a few pictures here. Sunsets are gorgeous too, especially during the winter. I was here with my toddler when it was -20 and would have loved to spend lot more time than we could. The geese take over the corner of this beach over the winter and that makes for fabulous views. If you like watching the geese that is. This is a frequent hub for dog walkers, so you will see a variety of them walking around you. There are what I believe large refineries so not sure we are breathing very fresh air.
Quiet and beautiful place Long live Canada and the people of Canada in peace
Very nice park
Today was perfect to enjoying Mother Nature
If you are fan to just sit along a sea side, this is nice place for you. Also can get some nice clicks around this place.
Calm, clean and beautiful scenery
Great park, kinda smells like poop from the dog park :(
Has so many natural beauty in just one place. Kids can have lots of fun. Very m7ch recommended.
Beautiful park.
Plenty of benches to sit at and enjoy the scenery.
Great Park for kids.
Good park for little kids all year around
Lovely to walk through and see parts of Oakvilles' history! Great place for a picnic as well!
A really nice hike. Take a walk by the water and enjoy the views.
Great place to spend the day with family! So much for the kids to do!!! Amazing splash pad, awesome park and food vendors in the parking lot ❤️❤️
Nice place for a lakeside stroll
Nice little park with an awesome view on Toronto and the lake, with a playground and a little pier. Walking distance from the Oakville museum and downtown.
Pretty
It’s a beautiful place to relax and have a good time with family.
Lakeside Park - its a very beautiful park, its good for a walk and enjoy the lake side view. You can see the Toronto downtown , good for photo shooting. There is a Museum in the park offering free admission. Park close a dusk.
Amazing view a great place to sit down and relax.
Cool park with red rocks from a old terra cotta brick factory.
Great spot on the water. Bathrooms, splash pad, playground, picnic area, off leash dog area, waterfront trail, Lookout spot
Recently constructed park nice and clean but too cold weather haven't been there yet.
It's a nice and green park, lots of benches to sit and relax, these a small playground for kids too. There's also a few small trails nearby that can be enjoyed and give a veiw of the lakefront.
Very pretty. Nice to visit but I prefer sandy beaches.
Great place for a walk along thé waterfront
Great, large leash-free park.
Brand new playground equipment. Smaller playground for toddlers and a bigger one for older kids. Large splashoad, Nice little bike trail and a small off leash dog park. Very relaxing and well maintained park.
A great place to relax, stroll and enjoy the views.
Smaller than expected
Great park. Great beach and full of interesting stones
Just sit and relax watching the horizon and the Lake Ontario on the Oakville's side.
Nice park and many benches where you can just sit there and relax and watch the waves crash into the rocks. There is also a marina and a little garden area. It is a great way to just sit and unwind.
Good for kids as there is a splash pad but a lot of insects and bad smell Cuz of the lake water.
Small park with a great waterfront . Picnic spots for kids with swings around.
Great park for kids of all ages, however the naming of each area of the park was in poor taste (aboriginal, industrial revolution, settlers, etc)
Always enjoyed coming here. it's a wonderful park with amazing lakeshore path.
Lots of activities for the whole family. A great view of lake shoreline.
A beautiful park with an amazing view.
Beautiful very quiet and peaceful place!! Watch out from the geese the might Hess at your dog lol ???? but I love the spot
Crazy waves that day!
Great for walking, and visits with family. Nice scenery.
An easy walk with beautiful views.
Gorgeous simple beautiful spot to sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of lake Ontario.
Great park and picnic area. Splash pad also. Pack patience for parking chaos...not nearly enough spaces for a park this size.
The lake looks awesome there and I got many great photos!
Nice park for short walk.
This area is very interesting. If you have depression and anxiety, you should go there!!
Great park by the lake with restrooms and lots of green space surrounded by historical buildings.
Nice little park for younger kids, with splash pad and playground.
Great park, I love the boardwalk and the view is gorgeous, this park is a nice little gem and close to a drive in movie theater.
Lovely park, clean and very open. Bike trail is tiny, if you could call it that but great to walk and enjoy the sun and sound of the waves.
4 Stars for the breathtaking view. On one side you see the endless Ontario lake till horizon and on one side skyscrapers of Toronto with can tower standing tall. Park with lush green trees and ample parking space around the area. Its not a beach but rocky shore with pebble rocks adds to the fun.
Very nice little park with a great view of the lake. Many places to sit down and relax.
Nice little berg in the middle of the rich and famous to take a break and watch ships come and go.
Will come back again.. highly recommended place to visit.
Nice well equipped park, splash pad, lake side barbecue, dog park and nice long trail. This is a really nice park right in the middle of city. The hill with binocular is a nice touch. Only addition I will suggest is a solar operated charging hut.
Very beautiful lakeside. Clean water with a great beach! Awesome park. Great play area for children?
Very nice and clean parks. No picnic area and no public parking.
Great park for a leisurely stroll. Nice view of dowtown Toronto as well!
This is a somewhat hidden gem in south Oakville. It is a water front park with a dog park, playground and splash pad, picnic tables and bbqs and the waterfront trail to walk, bike or rollerblade on. We went down to walk the dog and skip some stones into lake Ontario. Many people enjoying a quiet friday night by the lake. There is lots of parking too
Clean and open park. Has places to have a bbq, same area also has power outlets. Water fountains children can play in. Bike trails. Beautiful view of the lake
One of my favorite places in Oakville. Quiet in the morning with some spectacular views of Toronto skyline.
Lake Ontario, beautiful red rock beach
A lovely little park by the water with lots of fun for the kids and quiet little bbq and picnic areas for the adults or large gatherings.
Good place for evening visits... Its very comfortable place for kids and family.
A great park to spend a quality time with lovely friends.
A LOT CAN be said about this Favorite Park of Mine. A sanctuary for ALL. This place is HUGE and has TOO MANY Kool things to list.... From a Water splash pad for toddlers and BIGGER kids.... to.... a Playground ... Day camping sites... Public Washrooms are here as well for all Handicap patrons as well Lots of FREE parking For ♿ Handicap patrons Weather permitting there is usually a Mobile Food truck on site serving ice cream as well The Dogs ???? will love this huge park as well There's even an OFF leash park for them to run FREE along the Lakeshore Easy to get to and out of Please remember to be Kind to Nature and Help KEEP THIS park CLEAN Thanks for doing a great job PARKS AND RECREATION in keeping this park looking awesome My Dog Jak and I ride through here every time we ride from Scarborough to Oakville ???????? ROAD WARRIOR ????
Nice to be by the lake. Between the shade and lake breeze it's usually quite comfortable on hot days.
Nice peaceful area and has great view of water. Overall a great setting.
Nice park to walk around.
Beautiful spot with loads of history. Well restored and free admission to the museum.
Ive been here a few time and love the park. Lots of waterfowl and an amazing view of downtown Toronto in the distance.
Stopped by yesterday evening. Place is clean except the dock area near TOWARF . ITS PAINTED by the poop of birds. The view of the skyline of Toronto is wide and glorious. Parking around the block is available Mon to Sat 8am to 5pm for 2 hr limit.
Great place to visit
They have a great off leash area by the Lake.
Good place to walk, but needs a facelift.
Beautiful park, public utilities were well maintained
It was ok but I believe it still needs attention in terms of tidiness and maintenance.
Great off-leash dog park as well!!
This park is beautiful! Upgraded washrooms, the playground has an amazing theme best playground in Mississauga... and the shore is fun to hang out in.
There are a water splash and playground as well as the trail. Clean and well maintained. Good to hang out with family.
Has a Leash-free zone. On the other side you have a picnic area and beautiful walkway leading to the lake.
Has very good view for lake Ontario
Nice clean park by the lake. Excellent view, good for a walk.
Nice park with good walking paths
It's a truly unique beach made out of old weathered factory bricks, but I wouldn't recommend it since factories around dump their waste into the lake, and because of that, it smells terrible.
Amazing view, very open and natural place.
Great leash free park on the lake! Good well behaved dogs!
Nice park, well kept with good walk and bike paths
This is a nice park located with the best views of the Oakville harbor and lake. There is a nice observation deck with a grassy hill to sit on and take it all in. The parking area is big with lots of people parked to enjoy their lunch or coffee while taking in the views. Over the winter is full of sail boats being stored for the winter but they're is still space to park and on a good day enjoy the view.
Beautiful place, right on the Lake
Amazing place to stroll around, run, ride a bicycle or simply sit at the banks of the lake... choose what you want to do and the park has everything for you. Was a calming sit on the banks and an amazing stroll. Nothing more to say... watch the video and see for yourself ????
Great place to go and watch the lake through the seasons
All I can say is it's no Dingle Park.
Great place to enjoy an afternoon. Huge gazebo, children's park, beach front (stone) pier and lighthouse. Plenty of free parking.
Beautiful place to go for a walk along the waters edge, visit the light house down the pier, sit and enjoy the lake views.
Beautiful and well kept park
I love walking and biking there it is one of the few I visit frequently and love very much
Lakeside Park is a sentimental favourite among Oakville's waterfront parks. While not as large as Coronation Park, Lakeside Park is located next to the downtown area of Oakville and is steeped in the history of the Town (with a few monuments for the history buffs). There is a playground for the kids, a waterfront trail and a pier that you can walk to get great views of the downtown Toronto skyline in the distance. A great place to spend some time on a sunny summer afternoon.
As most of the lakeshore's canadian parks lakeside park inspires peace and tranquility
Awesome place for bbq, big spaces for groups to enjoy and social distance. Nice having washrooms and play areas
Great place to stop and rest while cycling.
Large completely fenced in Dog Park with Benches and Poo Bag Dispensers. Multiple Two-Way paths all the way around the Dog Park right on the Lake, multiple Splash Pads for kids, and Public Bathrooms access.
Nice ,quite place..not so busy..green area was excellent but no sand on shore side to play it walk.. only pebbles
Excellent location for quiet time alone or as a couple to relax and take in the lake and watch the boats coming in and out of the marina. small playground for kids.
Nice park, huge ground, children’s play area but extremely crowded today even in COVID season. Flash pads was not crowded due to cold weather. Lots of people walking with dogs. One strange thing I have noted lots of dogs were with out leashes, is it allowed? Beach was also busy. Ice cream trucks were also seen there in the parking. Lot of parking available which is free
Beautiful park. Lots of brown families. I was worried that white folk decided to move to an undisclosed location leaving us all behind. But don't worry, we brown folk will find you, and move right next to you!
Just a cool little Park on the water of Lake Ontario with a splash pad for the kids and a dog park
Hidden Gem on Lake Ontario. Bring 2 chairs and sit right at the edge of the water under ancient trees. Very quiet even though the Waterfront trail passes right through. There are Trail markers scattered around explaining the history of the area which are very informative. Lots of free parking. Can get busy on holidays and weekends.
Always nice to walk along the path way or hang out by the lake
Great park with lakeside viewing. It's too bad the on-site ice cream truck (exactly the same as I recall from my youth) has not been updated to needs of lactose intolerance.????
Lakeside Park...willows in the breeze; so many memories. Laughing rides, midway lights...shining stars on summer nights.
Amazing place and lovely view????????????
Beautiful, peaceful, great for morning walk
Forgot the name of this park, but I call it Lakeshore park. Great park with a lot of memories of me spending time with my kids. Situated right in front of the lake. Even in deep freezing cold, I come to this park. The park is not that bog, but that is one the big point of it.
A huge, beautiful lakeside park as aptly named with a great variety of attractions offered!
It's so beautiful when the sunset comes
Wonderful place for evenings.
It's a nice park, it's never over crowded, and there is plenty of street parking.
Beautiful!
Very nice place for kids at lake shore.
Good place to spend an evening with family and friends. The pebble shore is a great place to relax by the Lake. Walking tracks, green area and even a splash pad for kids.
Great view nice beach and their is also swings and their is a fountain really great for bbq
Wish the park was bigger with a longer trail but still a nice small park with a dog park and splash pad. Or just sit by the water and enjoy.
Very relaxing place. I recommend anyone.
very good
Beautiful, tranquil, safe, relaxing, good for running or walking or strolling.. picnicking or bringing your ????
Park is unique and educational. Connected splash pad, picnic area and Lakeshore trails.
Went there with my friend!
Love coming here, mostly at off hours and in the off season. It can get too crazy in the summer. If you’re lucky, you can get some nice waves here and see some ships docked by the refinery.
Very crowded and full of people with poorly trained animals. Not my kind of scene
Love this park! Beautiful place with lots of things to see and do. Bring your bike or skates and enjoy the trails or check out the red brick rocks by the water.
Nice park with lake breeze.
This was the most beautiful park we have been to recently!! Soo beautiful, the water area was so nice so clean and great place to go and sit without the hassle of a beach and sand! Bathrooms are nearby so not to worry! Kids enjoyed so much and hubby and I got to sit and enjoy the sound of the water ???? also bonus you can see the toronto skyline from there!
The BEST!! Everything at one place! Lakeshore views, bbq, lots of swings and slides, splash pad.. a perfect park for a picnic!
Excellent place to spend time with your friends and family. Very neatly maintained. Alot of things to do for kids. Highly recommended.
Clean park and more family oriented with lots of trees and clean lake side
One of the best places in Mississauga with the lake
Very clean and well kept park. Many parking lots.
This is a beautiful park. You can usually see the Toronto Skyline, and on clear days you can see all the way to the other side of the lake. The views are simply superb. There's a beach, and rolling hills...what more can you ask for? (Well, a dog park would be nice, but still)...
Nice and less busier park than port credit.
Excellent park not too busy!!
Beautiful, best place for photo sessions
The large stones of the shingle beach provided my grandson with lots to do like building a dam and slipping stones. There are a few benches and picnic tables. Bathrooms are a significant walk away at the adjacent park.
Silence and good fresh air.
Cool spot. Spray pad, playground, off leash park for dogs and a paved trail. Lots of great shaded spots to have a picnic or BBQ. Also, beach with the unique, clay colored stones is worth a visit. Lack of parking is an issue on a busy day.
Great place for the whole family. Lots of space for picnics and plenty of parking nearby.
Lovely part of Oakville. Nice area to walk and watch the boats.
Went here and found a random fire.. it was cold outside so I didn't mind! Anyways I'd go here just to listen to the breeze and waves of the lake :)
Excellent park for a walk along the Lake Ontario lakeshore, see the geese, ducks, other water wildlife and many boats. See the Toronto skyline and if it's a clear day all the way to Niagara On The Lake.
Nature trails, fenced off-leash dog park, children's play area, paved walkways, all beside beautiful Lake Ontario & the red clay pipe shale beach. Clean washrooms & accessible parking on site.
I love this place.. there are waves when its late evening.. do be careful though..
First time in there. There is a okay number of parking spots. A splash park and play ground. There is a good shedding area for seating, and only 2 BBQ grills.
This is a very beautiful and peaceful place I visit often. My dogs love it and it is very clean as well.
Nice area, great view
Kids love coming here and watching the water.
Great place with a big play area for younger and adult kids.
Nice trail for walking also with children's play area.
Small but nice. A bit industrial with a oil refinery on one side and a concrete plant on the other but it's still a nice place to enjoy the water
Beautiful scenary and walks on the lake
Great view and nice place for picnic and trail running.
Washrooms are clean and the views are gorgeous.
Simply loved the place. Went with old friends and enjoyed it.
Gorgeous area right by the lake. Very frequented by many but mostly people are adhering to social distancing and other guidelines.
Nice little park, perfect for an early morning or evening stroll.
Too crowded. Permeating stench of washed up rotten fish on the lakeshore
My dog jumped the fence I fell down the bank Now she is chasing rabbit and will not come back.
Great park with some really unique play centres for kids. The lakeside view was also fantastic. My kids already want to go back!!
This is the place for skipping stones on the lake!
Good parking in two areas & not bad for a quick trail ride or walk if you don't mind the Petro Canada Oil Refinery nearby. Ok view from the lake & great playground for the kids. A good effort to create a nice space amid the heavy industrial area.
Waterpad and park , parking is alright usually packed. This park is quite nice. There is a leash free zone as well.
Not so many people if you go there on weekdays. Such beautiful park at the lakeside.
Beautiful park right by Lake Ontario - nice park for kids also.
Tired after full day office and workload? If you are around this place then grab a coffee or some icecream from nearby famous icecream cafes and just go to the park. Either take a walk on lakeshore or sit and enjoy your icecream or coffee. The sound of waves hitting stones and view of sky with orange and blue hue will take you to some other world. I will surely recommend this place if you are looking for some peace.
A scenic mini 'peninsula' for picnics and watercraft watching. Alot of trees. Some foraging (mulberries, black walnuts,...). This whole area is really quite beautiful.
Got a parking ticket????
Good fun spot! Not much to do though but good scenes for a pit stop
It's a nice park, some extra benches would help.
Park is well maintained and has public washrooms, a "splash pad", plenty of parking and a nice view of Lake Ontario
Very nice little space in the city. However, they need to enforce some rules more proactively- lots of people with their pets here. The sign at the entrance clearly states “no pets” but no one seems to care.
Beautiful little Waterfront Park in an unsuspecting industrial area. Well-manicured Park with lots of area to have a picnic and barbecue there is a water pad to cooldown and of course the beautiful Lake. Dog park also on site
Lakeside Park willows in the breeze Lakeside Park so many memories laughing rides midway lights shining stars on summer nights
This park has it all dog park, splash pad, playground and ample picnicking space as well access to the water which is incredibly clean and close compared to other spots along Port Credit.
Good place for relaxing
Very good dog park. Large with well maintained fence and gates. Good running surface for dogs, and great view of Lake Ontario at the South end of the park. Located in an industrial area bit a park and walking path next door.
Very beautiful park to visit in a nice summer evening!
It's ok. Quite close to industrial areas. But a decent place to walk your dog.
Relatively small park, well served, hard to find a parking spot afternoon summer days
Medium sized lakefront park with lots of variety. Children's play structures splash pad, overlook hill, dog park, cobblestone beach, naturalized marsh area with lots of birds, washrooms (not during COVID), paved path and multiple parking areas. Too bad it doesn't connect with other waterfront parks. TIP: It can be buggy, so be prepared and warned.
One of my favorite places to go. Playground under shades of trees. Beautiful and chill there.
Had 7 pokestops. Clean park with benches, nice people and a small pier with a light house.
Not a lot here but some beach access for the dogs. Needs a cleanup
Nice place for take a walk and a lovely village around.
Very nice quiet beach with 2 shaded areas for picnic. Can do bbq also. Love this place.
In summer very busy on weekends, great splash pad for children,
Scarcity of parking, unattended rest rooms with no proper cleaning. People also have no common civic sense, dont know how to properly park a car in a designated spot, majority of visitors were occupying 2 parking spots due to improper positioning of their vehicle, overall a very bad experience.
Beautiful park at the lakeside. Ideal for quiet time away from the city
nice&clean Park but washrooms need more attention!
This beach is quite small and in the summer is filled with freshwater sea weed. I do not recommend swimming here since the bacteria levels are usually high in the water. It is a nice place to relax, ride the carousel for 5 cents, walk, tan or grab an ice cream. Alot of people picnic here.
I don't spend much time in Oakville so I was pleased to find this little gem right by the lakeshore. It isn't huge but has a nice little playground and a gazebo. It offers a very nice view of Lake Ontario as it is a little bit higher up. There are washrooms located at the top with disabled access.
Good place to visit, park for children, can do barbecue, red stones, beautiful water....
A nice walk besides lake Ontario. Has a leash free dog park, fun for the dog and most other dogs, except for anxious owners. Spring is little cold but summer is great . Has kids sprinkle pool.
I found out about this park at an Airbnb and it was beautiful. The air felt clear being further away from the city, water looked extremely blue, and I loved the rocks/stones on the beach. It has a nice path that you can walk or bike, a small splash for children, and barbecue pits. Great place to be at sunrise/sunset in the summer especially.
It's not a big park, however good for families as it have splash pad. It's equipped with jungle gym for children. The beach area is covered with red flat rock which I love.
Small and beautiful place to go for a short walk and see the lake.
Great park with trees for shade, splash pad to cool off and a play park for all ages. Wish the bathroom didn't smell so bad.
Lots of parking space, water fountain and splash area for kids, nice play ground, enough space for BBQ. Love this park.
Nice place to spend a day out with family.
Lovely clean park and facilities overlooking the bay and a distant Toronto. Cool pier and lighthouse to explore along with a cove of sail boats.
Saw lots of frogs and wildlife. Was a great day!!
Beautiful and scenic
Nice paved trail by Lake Ontario. Great dog park, children's play area and public washrooms. When wind is from North you can get an industrial smell in the air.
It’s a great little beach if you want to get away from people but it’s all brick and clay pipe. So don’t expect a beautiful sandy beach, but If you go in expecting brick, broken clay pipe and silence then it’s the perfect spot.
Beautiful scenic views and birds
Beautiful park family and pet friendly great for a picnic
Very nice place to skip rocks
Great place
So horribly overcrowded, no parking, 4 people in the dog park, not a single available space
Loved this place. Very nice!
Beautiful park and lake view
Nice little park near Oakville Downtown, very nice looking and shaded area, and good place to take photos at the back of the museum building. However, parking is a bit challenging.
I wouldn't head there for the sunset though!
Nice place. Realy love to came here. Do not understsnd why city clouse washrooms for winters.
It's a park. Very busy considering covid is still strong. Lots of people walking around and using the dog park. I was trying to get my motorcycle headset working so I stopped in the parking lot.
Nice place to go but hard to find parking.
Always a pleasant breeze! Always fun!
Beautiful location and really good for kids! Something for everyone in the family.
Beautiful park with a great splash pad for kids
Very nice and maintained park and splash pad for the kids.
Beautiful park to stroll in during the morning. Great spot for pictures especially during sunset.
Too good to watch sunset sunrise and full moon
It is a tiny cute lakeside park .
Beautifully landscaped and well equipped Bbq/ Picnic shelters. Well kept washrooms. Playground is fun for parents and kids to play together. Bike/running paths. Rocky beach (no swimming) Amazing splash pad. Great spots for kite flying. Education about rainwater and environmental stewardship. Wildlife viewing: Beaver, snake, frog, Monarch butterflies.
Beautiful interesting calm place for adults and kids... Nice view... Splash pad and playground.... A lot of tables and barbecue grills
Too much crowded, most of the shortcut route to the park is restricted for members only. Not enough sitting facility, no designated place for picnics, no places free of pets, pets everywhere.
Beautiful spot with fantastic views of Toronto skyline .
A very pleasant park. Good for families withyping kids . There is a nice playground for young kids. Beautiful lake view. You can see Toronto if the weather is fine
The pebble beach is great for kids and family. Not too crowded.
Oakville's shoreline is perennially resort-like. The most beautiful place in southern Ontario.
Summer day near the lakeshore
Excellent place for an evening outing. Lots of place.
Lovely park with water view.
Nice park, but parking is challenging
It’s such a beautiful park. Can’t wait to come again in the summer ❤️
Nice place for families and friends. Recommended.
Good spot for picnic
Excellent please don't litter people please
Good place for a picnic, lacks benches and shade
Beautiful park. Nice place to spend some time
Amazing location and scenic atmosphere. Perfect place for short family trips.
Beautiful park! Very relaxing and lots to do!
Good place for children to play. Clean and good path for walk
Good park to relax , play spikeball , good view of the lake Nd with splash pad is an added bonus for kids
Good place to relax. I little litter , but it is people without consciousness.
Not-so-crowded but beautiful park. Good for family or friends gathering. Do not forget distancing in the pandemic period
Beautiful place. It has nice peirce.
Lots of dead fishs on the shore makes it mildly stinky
toomany mosqitos
Beautiful place for walks and just sitting down looking at the lake
I love this place because it is relaxing, interesting and most of all magnificent. Plus it's a good place to just go sight seeing and perhaps chill with ur friends or family.
Beautiful park. Nice place to walk.
This place is very beautiful and you can peaceful and enjoy the nature well with lake at one side
Its fine.... very cunjusted place so much crowd lake shore water is fine
Splashpad, beautiful trail with access to lake, benches, bbq, children playground. Very nice park.
Very nice place to bring the kids, the lake has some "calm" time, during which the view is amazing.
Good, but always many people is here
I need to say that the City needs to be more vigilant here. Little social distancing maintained here. The middle-eastern people all around here seemed care very little about Covid!!! This place must be serving as a Covid hotspot and the negligence of the people and also the City must not be overlooked. Check the photo and judge by yourself, please.
someone has left garbage before we occupy we told parks who was picking up garbage he told us he will come to pick up but hr didn't
Beautiful and serene, and lovely area to walk in. Didn't know such a lovely park existed within walking distance from the main street in Oakville
A very beautiful park, with its natural scenic beauty with lake Ontario glowing on one side.
Love this park. Great place for BBQ, kids love it too as it has splash pad and better swings. Always busy in summer time. Saturday is the busiest.
Small park, nothing much to see
It has play ground with lots of different types of kids friendly appliances and splash pad ,plus plenty of greenery with benches and access to the lake. I give it a big like ????
Good place for walk or kids playground
This park is near industrial (cement and petroleum plants) and smells
Great place to sit and enjoy a picnic snack with lake views. Swings for kids and benches for adults to sit down on
Beautiful red rock beach. A nice small park.
Sand for the little kids, wood chips for the big kids playground and swings. Splash pad, and Lake Ontario. Easy to spend 3 hours without noticing
Excellent place to walk, relax, enjoy with kids, party and so on . Some very old trees add to the beauty of this place
Great run for dogs, plenty of space.
Some small flies near tree water, a little bit of algae, but overall nice park. Splash pad for the kids, trails, open grass areas, BBQ pits with nearby picnic tables
Very beautiful place. In holidays parking lots may be full.
Nice little park with beautiful lake view and crystal clear clean beach water.
???? loved the calmness, the moon, the water, everything ????❤️
You can see different scenes in different seasons
Beautiful view of the lake..... Alot to do there with your family or just a walk down the boardwalk.
It's a great place to go with your family or with friends. It's a really beautiful park, right beside Lake Ontario. It's an amazing spot if you enjoy BBQing. There is also a leash free dog park near by.
Awesome park. Took son here to catch Pokemon on Pokemon Go. Lots of space and the dog park is great.
This is a small park so not too overwhelming. It is very clean and on the lake so beautiful view and nice breeze off the lake on a hot day. It is very accessible and has free oarking. It has leash free park for dogs and playground and splash pad go kids and beautiful lakeside trail for walkers and bikers. People are very friendly .leash free park had water taps for drinks for dogs or to cool them off in the heat.it usually has an I e cream truck there in the summer and spring.it has benches in the leash free to sit on.ther is also high steps and used to be a telescope to view the stars but still can go up steps and get a beautiful view of the area and lake.
The washroom door was locked, it was a big inconvenience to walk to the public library. The door should be open to public use since they're a lot of kids at the park that can't control their bladders as well as adults.
Love taking my dog here. So peaceful and its a fairly clean park.
Great local park. The beach is really unique
Would be even better if there were shades with the benches so people can come in the afternoon as well instead of flocking all at once in the evening hours.
Park is nice .... Has bathrooms.. nice playground and splash pad
Been going to this park since I was a kid. My kids always have a great time.
Great water park and playground. Always packed with families. Nice social atmosphere for the kids especially during this pandemic.
Nice place to go.only some people doesnt care about the place they throwing their garbage every where.while they can see waste can everywhere.but lovely place..
Worth a try! Nice and relax place to take a walk
We have a 6 month old puppy. Not really a fan of off leash parks but this place is great. Never too busy and very friendly dog owners and dogs. Close to the lake so you can also go for a walk right by water...
Beautiful park on lake with splash pool, etc. Out of way of normal traffic but worth going to.
Beautiful lakeside with a kids play area and great views of Toronto skyline
Very nice mark to hang out and relax
Very calming and picturesque
Great to relax and has a small water park for kids .
Superb n clean place to visit n relax
Splash pad is nice for small kids and there is lots of shade along the sides. Walking paths are also nice and there is a large dog park next door
Beautiful park to spend some quality time with your family. Easy access, bunch of free street parking available not far. and there's a nice playground for the little ones. A lot of heritage buildings surrounding the park make it a nice walk not only in the park but also around the park.
one of my favorites to calm and relax
Amazing park. Hidden ????.
It is so nice to take a walk throughout the lake shore.
Pleasant atmosphere, lots of space and a good view of the lake.
I loved this place! There was fun for the whole family! There were splash pads, ice cream trucks, 4 park sections, picnic spots, vast areas of grass, beautiful and a huge beach area. The weather was very beautiful and pleasant near the water. The beach wasn't as crowded either. Hope to visit here again!
Awesome place for BBQ, small parties, kids splash pad and swings. Cool looking water front.
Beautiful and peaceful place to to get some fresh air. Great for a walk and having a picnic with kids as well.
Nice small waterfront park in downtown Oakville. Good children's play area. Lots of benches. Plenty of shade.
Beautiful place to spend your afternoon
Great place to for a walk in summers, Light house is the best part.
Very nice park...my favourite
Nice place for a walk
Nice calm area...has playground for the kids...and looks like one of the water areas for the summer...also a gated area for the dogs to walk run and get along with other doggies
Nice place to just relax on the grass, walk/ride the trail, bbq , skip rocks on the water and much more fun
Fog rolled in, amazing experience.
Nice playground with unique equipment. Not as nice water access or walking paths as some other nearby parks. Splash pad and washrooms are a great bonus.
Really nice park
It’s a beautiful place to have fun with family . Lakeshore view is super awesome.
Great park for BBQ and other fun stuff
Nice place for a walk!!
Clean and beautiful park. Nice view.
Dogs all get along and dog walkers and pet owners and spectator s enjoy and so clean
lakeside park nice place to sit or for walk It makes your mood fresh.
Great day for a walk by the lake. Very clean.
Park is run by a private group and not the City. The Park is fantastic and we'll maintained. My dogs favorite park.
Great park. Right beside the lake BUT unfortunately there are a lot of families there who leave their little kids run crazy without supervision. One little boy hit my niece because she didn’t want to play with him. I had to yell at that kid because he kept following our daughters and nieces and they had no interest in playing with him. His parents were nowhere to be found even after I made a scene yelling at him and asking where his parents are. This kid was 2 years old....sans supervision.
Amazing view where you can see the Toronto skyline on a clear day. During days with nice weather there will typically be many people down by the lake enjoying themselves.
Very pretty park ! I haven't been in the area for some time! Very pretty!
Red beach blue lake There is wonderful.
Amazing and quite place to walk with family and friends beside the Ontario Lake
Absolutely beautiful area sat on the benches listening to the waves..a peaceful experience
Nice place to enjoy time with your family. Rush due to weekend but we got the parking luckily. Long pathway for walk. Will come to this place again
Nice place to relax
The dog had quite a bit of exercise with the other animals
I had a nice morning over there... wonderful view.
Nice little park to bring the family, there is a splash pad for the younger ones to play in. Has a nice path for a short walk as well
Very nice and very good to see and visit.
Vintage. Beautiful.
Nice place for the kids ( age 2 to 14) to play in the park. Have bike routes in the park for everyone to ride their bikes.
They have a playground and a picnic area here.
Park with paved walking trails. A couple of picnic tables with grills. A leash free area for dogs.
Kid friendly. Clean. Decent parking. Some decent paths for walking. Is not a wow park.
Lakeside Park willows and the breeze Lakeside Park so many memories wasted long
Enjoyable during shutdown.
Nice park
Beautiful park in the heart of downtown Oakville. Also best pokemon go area in Oakville
Amazing cool place to relax
Beautiful park with nice small beach area
Quiet and peaceful...good place to escape from work.
Beautiful day for a stroll; pier nice and clean!
Nice place to relax with friends and the views are wow????
Weird garbage smell coming from the lake/shore. Garbage everywhere. Washrooms are clean though
Beautiful serene Oasis in Old Oakville..too crowded during Summer but deliciously deserted this time of year.
Beautiful park with splash pad and stoney lake shore but very few spots for BBQ or to just sit down with your picnic basket. Parking is a problem too
Very hard to find parking in the summer.
Lovely old post office, and pier to over look the lake.
Good size park, location is good, splash pad is awesome during summer. There is a separate leash free park that is fenced off for pet owners. Kids play area is okay, but we miss the diggers and scoops in the sand area that used to be there. Also, the lookout is pretty neat with a good view of the lake and the Toronto skyline. No sandy beach is the only negative, though there is a rocky beach you can access.
Beautiful place
Great place to watch sunrise over lake Ontario . People can walk their dogs unleashed. Other than that, quite loud noise and a bit chemical odd come from the industrial facilities nearby.
Great place to chill and hang out at anytime. The park itself is quite busy at times but the lakeshore is accessible and not crowded. Parking is limited but free.
Nice rock beach. There is a splash pad as well as kids play area that is currently open. Quite a few picnic spots and a ice cream truck too :) it wasn't very crowded when we went
One of my favorite parks in the GTA. Water view, skipping rocks, view of the CN tower, gazebo, sitting area & a good size playground for the little ones. On top of all that you have the historic Thomas house and old post office to view (open very limited hours)
Beautiful views.. very clean.. not crowded.. has splash pads, lake view, amazing playground, washrooms, grill area
Gorgeous area for a nice stroll on the lake. Come down and give it a go!
My kids love this park. From the splash pad to the park for toddlers and older kids to the rocky beach. We can spend all day here! Parking is a bit tight so best to get there early. A little hidden park on lakeshore.
Great place to take your dog for the off leash park although a little small and no shade.
Beautiful place to walk
Clean beach with red pebbles. An absolute photogenic beach i must say!!
Nice park with splash pad. Next to lake so cooler. Well kept grass and sitting areas. Pokemon go player stuff: 3 stops close to each other. With 4th in parking lot. With lures on all 4 you'll run out of poke balls in no time.
Beautiful view of the water. This park is perfect for sitting and relaxing.
We haven't been to this park in 2 years and we really missed going to this park. Not too many people visit this park 2 to 4 years a go, but when we got to visit it again, I was surprised how busy this park has become since our last visit 2 years a go. The stair waterfall connected to the splash pad no longer work but the splash pad is still enjoyable without it. The children's playground is well maintained and the paved trail is a nice place to train your child how to ride a bike. It also has a decent size picnic area. If you're going on a weekend, be there early to get a spot. Parking can also be a pain on a weekend. Also a great place to practice paddle boarding.
Nice cool breeze on a hot day.
The water of lake was clean park was well maintained
Interesting area, had a dog park
I really like this park! There a lot of amenities that are available compared to some of the other parks that I've been to around the city. There is a play area with swings, there is a trail that you can walk (I will be honest I don't know how far it goes-- but it's there lol), there is a covered picnic area, and there's open space where I've seen groups gather for picnics, lunches, get-togethers. The Lakeshore / Lakeside is a decent length, and you can get close enough to the water to experience its benefits, without actually having to get in. You also don't have to manoeuvre over large boulders or have to sit on the rocks to get close to the water. I like it.
Small but nice park for kids to play and for walking on the trail.
So nice place... has a Picnic area, washroom, splash and playing area for all age
Best lakeside park in Oakville. Make sure you grab your Starbucks before you walk down the pier.
Beautiful scenery, trails and nice neibourhoods. Quiet area with friendly people who always smile and say hello! :)
Great path to walk great scenery
Excellent place to stay and recharge my batteries.
Nice place to hangout with kids. As it has swings and small water area for kids entertainment
It’s in the industrial area !! I love this place ???? ! Only thing I didn’t like is there were bugs everywhere ???? !! Also, it would be much better to go here on summer ????
We Always go for a beautiful walk here, it’s very nice and very quite area.
Great place. Some portions of the beach are difficult to navigate due to stones being stacked a way that prevents me from coming close to the water, which was not the case last year. Don't know if this was done by staff or nature.
Nice spot for a short walk , not much in amenities.
Very spacious even though there were about 10 large families with little gatherings.. it was still spacious to move about without interacting... nice place for outdoor events.. ideal for picnics, large play park for kids and a water park as well...
Hey everyone, I've been to this park a bunch of times, and now as the weather is getting better, I'll be able to venture out more. I like this park because it's nice, and a decent size. You can have a picnic with family, you can take a first date here, or if you just enjoy a stroll near the lake; it's definitely for you. Also I do want to point out, if you own a dog, there is a dog park on site as well, friendly dogs, and friendly people all- round. There is also a jungle gym and a fun sprinkler system for the kids, now that the weather is warming up. It's always nice go for a splash. (**In these times; use at your own accordance) In all there's a little something for everyone, whether your local or just looking for a spot that isn't too busy, but moderately sized. Until next time, Cheers.
Always a relaxing place, meeting with nice people.
A nice harbour. Fresh air and natural beauty.
This place is relaxing, nice trail to walk to, theres a washroom and you can skip some rocks if thats what you like to do!
Nice park to visit with kids. Not a lot of parking though
Very nice calm and not so busy park!! Far view of Toronto timeline
I don't think playground is opened yet during pandemic!
My go-to jogging spot. Beware the overgrown foliage as I've come across skunks and coyotes during the early morning hours. But still a great spot!
Very nice park by the lake With kids splash pad, public grill and restrooms.
Beautiful park. Lots of room to walk or picnic. Filled with people playing Pokemon go.
Quiet,Clean. Beautiful view of the Lake and an excellent shot of Toronto's Skyline.
Great place to have wonderful vantage views of the lake. Along the waterfront trail!
Beautiful park! Such a nice quiet spot to relax and enjoy the nature!
Beautiful park for a walk, especially in the fall
Love it for relaxing with my kids. Splash pad, park beautiful view of the lake perfect for family time
One of my favorite spot. This place was awesome. Beautiful view.
A very beautiful park to visit on a hot sunny day.
