It's a great Park they have an area for the kids they have an area for you to go around and walk around the lake it is all paved there are bathrooms available but I can't guarantee because of the covid-19 if the bathrooms will be open

Loved this park even before they made everything prettier. Love what they're doing with the place, fishing is ok if you're under 16, or a senior, or have your BC disabled anglers ticket, it used to be stocked with trout every year, not sure if that's still a thing. in the winter theres usually a rink to skate on and a hill for first time snowboarders or more commonly, sledding. Firepits available, on and firewood usually can be found somewhere in the park if you look hard enough. I do miss the treeforts they used to have, and the look out tower. Those were my favorite thing about the park as a kid. But they did make a bunch of other cool stuff, to compensate for taking the rickety thing down... it would still be cool to see something similar down the road. Great park for the kids and unless they got rid of it there's a work out system down one of the trails with gymnastics rings, and the whole lot. It's a pretty sweet spot to hang for sure

A great nature place with a paved walk around the lake. Also has playground equipment including 2 zip lines to keep children busy and active. Lots of tables for picnic in the park, and fireplaces for grilling. Watch out for the goose poop!

a bit has changed since i lived in Cranbrook, but i am very proud to see that the pond is accessible to all! ( i am a bit concerned about the lack of a barrier around the south side of the lake next to the walking path) as i the path is too close to an embankment to the pond. Great place to absorb nature and a an easy leisure walk!

Happy to comply, no “no boating signs” seen by our group.We did no swim, just paddle boarding around, someone told us us this during our visit, that it’s a liability - we understand the concern but...clear signage would be helpful.
