Large areas for hiking, biking and even horse riding! The community forest is 2,000 hectares, so be careful not to get lost. A great place for walking dogs. Quiet and with plenty of wildlife and birds. Connects to many places across Cranbrook with several small parking lots and many access points. Most trails prohibit motorized vehicles, if not all.

Wow it has been a while since I came to the CCF since we moved to Kimberley. Some of the main trails have been newly packed, I bet you could take a wheelchair now into the Forrest with minimal extra effort, well done on the updated trails. Took the Grizz man out for a beauty walk this am. Such a spectacular place. And check out trail forks, the private land trails to the South are all updated on the app now, amazing. Biking, hiking, snow shoes, and fatbikes, the CCF has it all. And better yet there is a team of volunteers that pour their time and efforts all year into making these trail top class. The grooming efforts in the winter are amazing. Check out this little gem any time of the year, so worth it.

I do not live in Cranbrook but have stopped here a couple times for an epic day hike. 100s of kilometers of trails for all skill levels criss-cross this large park. Volunteers have done an excellent job of building and maintaining the trails. A few nice lookouts with views of town. A great place!

My heart roams, take a good look down as you go up, there are many branching trails leading down. Hard to get really lost I think, but you might come down in the wrong place.. the herbs! Sweet pine and mullein, yarrow and clover and dandelion, all the friend live here.

Cranbrook Communuty Forest is a beautiful collection of trails maintained as close to nature as possible. Especially Sylvan Lake looks stunning and really worth to wonder around engulfing the views while encountering local wildlife.

The trails at Fraggle rock are great. A little or everything to enjoy, so reasonable climbs, tech climbs, steep descents and flowing descents. Trails are well maintained and well marked making it easy to know where you are even if you haven't ridden here before.

Protected forest close enough that we don't have to drive to it. Paths are well maintained. Would be nicer if people cleaned up after their dogs, but its less if an issue on the trails less travelled.

Came on a Sunday afternoon around 4:30PM, parking lot didn't have many cars, trails are confusing since there are so many intersections so bring a map. Trail wasn't anything unique, just dirt and trees, First Alkali was dry, Sylvan Lake had water but wasn't anything special. Didn't see many people.
