Mattice Park a long standing Park in cornwall ontario . I visited the ice rink out one night for a midnight skate . Great ice surface and a great evening. In the summer time it's a great place to go swimming with you and the family. Swimming is from 1 to 4 pm and night swim from 6 to 8 pm. It's a great outing and not that expensive.There's also a park right next to the park where you can take the kids so they can burn off some much needed energy . It's a great little area fun for the whole family . There's also a picnic table and places to sit . It's one off the last standing pools in cornwall ontario in a pretty good location . It's safe and the life guards are great to be around and you can always bet they have the children's safety in mind . The pool also is a great size never having to worry about crowding of any sort. It's clean and for and outside pool is a all around great place to swim, with corner stores right around the corner, just in case you want to grab a snack or those kids get thirsty , but I recommend with the prices of things now a days just bring a picnic Baskett for the outing and you will be just fine. And always remember in those summer months it gets vary hot so with that being said make sure your children have a hat on, sunscreen on there bodies ,and a towel to dry off with or to lay on . With all that all there is left to do is to go out and enjoy the summer months splashing and having a grand old time . There is also a park leader and a lot of great activitys going on there if they didn't cut the program . I hope you all have a great summer and remember safety first .
