Very Wary

Nice, new building with interesting displays and artifacts. I learned lots. Favourite thing was extensive photo album of historical images (and a great polar bear)

Very informative museum on the people, animals, region, and culture of the surrounding area. Worth a visit while in Churchill. The museum itself isn't very large but it offers many artifacts to browse through and information to read. It also has a nice gift shop for the Churchill souvenir. Don't forget to sign the guest book before departing.

Purely a fantastic museum, from the outside looks can be deceiving because once inside a vast collection of Northern Art awaits you. Truly a surprise, a wonderful surprise. No matter your knowledge on the Northern Culture and Arts you'll learn something new and especially you'll see it.

The woman working at the museum was very kind and offered her insight into some of the displays. She was incredibly keen to have us come back and visit and made our stay so welcome, and familiar - like talking to an old friend. Must see, take your time, and if you can pick out some novelty local items to bring a little piece of Churchill home with you.
