It's a fine park but it get a little crowded now on weekend.

This place is really cool. Calm and greeny. In the winter you can rent a ski equipment while in the summer you can make barbecue. Nice place for jogging or biking with 7km of bike lane.
Good but some wild bugs at night not much light in the night

Great place for a walk with amazing old houses
Relaxing place where u can walk, jogging, cycling and enjoy the nature, with ur family
The park is ok, however if you are here after 4:30 pm, there is no toilet available ! The people who work in the service house actually refuse to let us use the washroom.
Nice place, I love walking with my dog here. It's relaxing!
Great for walking, peaceful.
intresting place especially for whom love hiking
A hidden perl. Beautiful walk and a unique view on one of the oldest hydro electric damns in the world. The little neighborhood next to it is a great place to grab a coffee.
a nice system of bike and walking trails that circle around the island over to a 18th century mill.
Perfect place for a Sunday afternoon with family.
Beautiful place.
Very nice and peaceful. Well maintained. Lots of tables and there is a big BBQ section as well. No permanent BBQ grills though, only charcoal and ash deposits. Don't leave yourself disappointed, bring your own grill.
amazing park
The good parts for people exercises like a running, walking, bicycle and something else.
Not bad. It is OK. Staffs are kindly.
Fabulous park along Rivière-des-Prairies for leisurely strolls, special bike trails, family picnic areas, and you might spot an odd fox once in a while but also be on the lookout for coyotes which are now appearing more frequently in the north part of Montreal
Beautiful place to relax.
Great place to spend some time relaxing or riding a bike.
Its a very big park, perfect for a nice walk in the city or even bike ride. Winter and summer.
Lovely medium size park by the river with a few nice view points. Worth the walk.
Great place to take a long walk and appreciate the nature.
This was my first visit to this beautiful park,,, and I have lived in Montreal my entire life(30+ years),, and I must say that I have been missing out on such a beautiful part of what Montreal has to offer. But as they say, it is never too late to do what you want to do,,,, so pack a lunch,,, grab a fishing rod and relax the day away,,,, I highly recommend it :-). Peace out and Pay it Forward Everybody
Place on Montreal to relax
Very nice trails along the Rivière des Prairies. Lots of bird watching.
Nice hidden park with great views. Perfect for a nice nature walk.
So beautiful and peaceful place to go.
It's beautiful. Peaceful.
Beautiful park! ????????????????????????????????????
Beautiful views and a beautiful place.
Did trail running in this park today. I was not sure of going because some people saw coyotes these past years. But going in the middle of a sunny day when several people are in the park was reassuring enough for me...because I am no Road Runner !
Beautifull walk along the river
it's a great place
Really good place to walk or to ride bicycle. Well opened and distributed in spaces. Green and well maintained.
Very relaxing place
Nature in the city can't be beat when describing this somewhat hidden gem. I have been coming here for years and I'm still discovering different areas. Well worth to come here several times to be able to fully appreciate the grandeur offered by this environment.
Lovely and quiet place
This is amazing place for a bbq with family or friends. The parking is accessible and not expensive. There is some tables and lot of trees for shade. I suggest you to be in place before noon. Thanks to ville montreal. Bravoooooòooooooooooooooooooo
Worth seeing and worth visiting place
Gorgeous outdoor place, lots of trails to walk, bike, sight view. It's nice all year long and they have a big parking ($) if you come with car
Great park for walks. Doggie is allowed on leash. In summer saturday and sundays are very crowded. Good for small cross country skiing for free in winter.
That like mountain spring stream warm Work in concert with starry in sky

This is one of my favorite parks to come to, maybe my favorite. It's a very nice place to take a walk, or have a picnic.
This beautiful island will put you in touch with nature. Being close to the city we felt away from the hectic city life
Wonderful place to bike and take a walk along the water
Nice place to visit.
Good place for the near of the city. You can find free parking on the street and allow for bbq.
Lovely park for a walk. Not worth to pay full day for parking unless you plan to eat sandwiches there. A good walk with lots of nature. Absolutely great to see the North side. This is a hidden gem of a park.
So calm and private. it is so nice to walk inbetween trees and next to the water and watch the swans dancing in the air but also on the water as the sun sets out and the moon takes over in the space...
Nice place to picnic or do bbq. The walking paths are nice. Parking lot still close, but lots of street parking. People respected distances in general.
It’s nature lover place, moreover I love it because of the you may see birds and their sound. It’s really nice but in the summer time would be more people will be there to relax , walking , family time.
Really nice park in warm time.
Its a really nice place
Beautiful. A great park for a long walk. Lots of wildlife and history.
Awesome place for a hike or walk!!!
A great and peaceful place
Absolutely beautiful place! Definitely recommend going there near sunset
Beautiful park. Bike path and some picnicking areas.
Nature parc, lots of birds, river, water, cascade, bridges, tables to eat bring your food, barbecue..
Great outdoor spot in Montréal
Coyotes eh? Well, I for one definitely did nay spot one. I saw a lot of bugs, fish, people, bikes and picnics going on. A couple of felines seem to live in or around the park as well. Lots of great chilling spots and a very long trail to trek. I saw some dates as well, perhaps an awkward first in fact? After dark this place takes on a less vibrant tone, and the bridge across the way mocks you as you’re forced to decide which way you’re headed.
It's a nice park for a walk. I go there for work (belongs to Hydro), and I'm always happy to go on inspections there
Such a lovely spot on the island of Montreal! I will be coming back.
Very beautiful park and lots of people go for fishing.
Great place to sit back and relax and maybe read a book
Nice place to take a walk with friends and family. The best seasons to go would be spring and autumn. There are a also a lot of friendly chipmunks in the area. The building is located in the coast of Laval.
Best place to relax
Best park in north end Montreal for walk and jog following the river.
Beautiful park, easily accessible
Very calm and beautiful
My favorite place in the city. Peaceful and tranquil. Back to nature... :)
Very nice park for winter strolling. Nice and peaceful spot. Loved it for sure
One of the most beautiful park in montreal
Best Place For Fishing With Kids
The park could use some love... Lots of derelict picnic tables, old wooden structures and signs that could be updated and or cleaned. Otherwise it's a nice park.
Nice place to visit . You can do fishing but you should know that you will not be able to fish after the sunset, it's the park policy. It has nice places to take photos, site with the family or your friend ???? . I like it ????
Nice to be there in the weekdays. Crowded at the weekends! One of the best place for biking!
Small paths during winter feels crowded
Looking for an ideal outdoor hike or bike ride with your family in the heart of Montreal? This place is it!. Next to the river. It feels like you're up north. Peaceful and serene.
Nice
Recommended for biking or just walking. Very pleasant place from April to October.
Awesome place to enjoy a day .family ,couple And kids friendly atmosphere ,Beautiful trails ,Barbecue and fishing options and so on...
A lovely place to go
Cool place for a picnic!!! Lots of spots beside the water!!! I will go again most definitely
Nice zen place with birds. Not allowed to ski during summer.
It's so relax to do a walk
A place for meditation when the city has drained the last drop of you
Peaceful place to hangout with friends in morning or evening
Great place for a walk, fishing or a picnic.
Peaceful and good bird watching area
Marvelous! It's always a great walk in the park!
One of the nicest parks on (and off) the island.
I absolutely love going for walks here as often as I can, its such a beautiful variety of trails to walk, walking bridges to cross over to walk on the other side of the water, and tons of seated lookouts if you want to just relax in serenity
Quiet Parc, with a variety of settings. A bit confusing to navigate.
A great place for a bike ride
No large variety of animals compared how huge the place is
Nice space and wonderfully bike way
Easily accessible by public transport. Beautiful location.
A getaway into nature with wonderful views of the river. Great for those meditative strolles or with someone special.
Very refreshing and calm place. Just right for unwinding????♀️????♀️
Good place
Awesome place to pass a great day with family and friends. You can make a barbecue or a picnic . There's not a crowded park. It has lot of space for everybody. Not so far from downtown you can find here a place to breath fresh air and relax. The old Mill is and awesome place full of history and remembrance of old times. Bring your bike and enjoy.
Beautiful...but go on a day when the path isn t closed for maintenance lol
Although not very well known This one of the biggest parks in Montreal. Look it up. Cross country skiing trails on the winter
Beautiful park for a walk or a bike ride
A huge area that stretches a few KMs. Great sights. Beautiful views. Nice and calm. It's such a great area. Good for picnics, a walk by the water, or biking. Highly recommended.
I always enjoy visiting.
It is the place that feels like escape from the busy city life. I'd like to go there and have a walk many times.
Great for hiking and picnics in nature .
So purty, much wow!
Great outdoor family activity close to Montreal! The only thing is that we couldn’t find any coyote :)
Very good place to do biking and enjoy the river shore. Also you can do fishing in the area
Pure nature life and place, fresh air and cycling area,river...
Love it here! I enjoy meditating with the sound of the water and nature
Nice park.
Nice and easy hike.
One of many beautiful parks of montreal! Any avid hiker, fishing enthusiast and cyclist will find something for them.
Very relax place - good for a walk or bike ride.
Nice little park and Bird sanctuary at the North of the island and site of a now defunct mill.
Beautiful place for any activity really whether it's walking, barbecuing, cycling etc. The park is well designed, by the water and there is an islet or perhaps more that one can walk to.
Nice site. Many places to sit back relax watch the river flow.
Hard not to love this park located between the river and the city. Nature takes refuge here: birds, coyotes... Biking is a pleasure in the summer.
Awesome summer and winter!
Relaxing place, always go there and have a walk.
Beautiful and a peaceful place to visit people usually come here to do picnic with their families.
Not big but interesting none the less
A romantic place when it's not full of people.
Love this place!! Lots of spot to be calm and relaxed / Do exercices / Bicycle / Run etc.. I'm a photographer and this is one my favorite spot to come shoot with trees/water in the background instead of building! Instagram; @loko.earth (Lots of mountains shot) ????
I describe this park as mixture of love, romance, nature, and softness. It is a mid-size park with a river passing through it. You can access the both sides of the river and park. It is suitable for walking, hiking, BBQ, fishing and cycling. There are enough benches and places for BBQ or picnic. It is easy to find free parking-lots around the park, although there is a large chargeable one next to it. Lots of trees, very green area, and being next to river are among top features of this park.
This is one lovely park, a cycling path runs through it, and it's great for walks, picnics, and even fishing (please research if you need a permit first, I'm guessing you do, and some spots are off limits to fishing). There used to be an old mill here, and the city had put ramps all around, so you could walk over it but that's closed off because of the decay of the installations, it's not quite safe there anymore, and there used to be a bistro, between the rushing waters between l'île de la visitation and Montreal, it's closed for the moment.
I regularly go here to walk the dog. Nice paths along the Riviere-des-Prairies.
Very nice big park very close to everyone
Wonderful adventures club day in the parc
Great for a relaxing walk
So beautiful to walk and chill
Really nice place for summer and winter activities
Nice place for a walk under the trees. Refreshing and quiet
It is a beautiful park... Great place to go with children..good infrastructure, and a lot space to make a BBQ... The scenery is amazing. Very recommended!
Dog friendly Parc. That alone is winner for responsible dog owners.
Quiet relaxing bike paths pedestrian walks
The park is extremely amazing.
It is a very nice plate to visit I loved it
I love this park. You can walk near by the River. In the wood as well. You have nice trail also. I recommend.
Nice nature park in Montreal for family activities, such as hiking along the river and BBQ. Parking is $7.50 for two hours, or $9.50 for a whole day.
Nice view and place
Best park to get lost into. Plus you get a small island.
A place where you can find peace and positive energy ❤????????????????
Great to go with children in every season, picnic area, restrooms.
Very nice place for spending leisure time, running, roaming, rowing (of course in summer) and family recreation
Great park to cycle through. The air going through you like you were invisible. The air glistening in the sun and my bike soaring through the sky like a Falcon. Would absolutely recommend.
Definitely worth checking out !! Beautiful ????
Beautiful
City on one side and waterside on the other one, it make a nice difference between busy traffic and paradise.
Surprisingly the path was all snow or ice.no mud yet. Definitely still good for a walk.
Really small park for runners. Better in the summer.
Nice!!! Good spot to run in the summer!
this park is very quiet.not the best but so so
Great place to go biking or have a picnic with friends and watch the sunset! Parking is 8$ for 2h, but you can find parking on the street nearby.
This is a beautiful park on the north end of the island of Montreal. It's a good place for walks. Lots of people are out walking their dogs. There are some great waterfront views as well. It's easier to drive, but you can reach it by getting off at Henri Bourassa métro.
Nice spot to enjoy the now. Beware the poison ivy off the paths
Mostly just a path but also some areas to rest. No points of interest.
Love it ???? a river with two elevation!
Scenic lookouts & breathtaking views of the river.
Nice parc near the river.
Very calm and peaceful place to walk as a family.
Lovely little island and green space on the North shore of Montreal.
Very beautiful place overlooking a lake.
Beautuful place for fishing and family
Love to discover new places. Lots of fowl and other wildlife
A wonderful park. I recommend it.
WoW amazing park and the environment. Wonderful cycling trail and many other options
It is mostly ideal for those who love walking, jogging & cycling in certain part.
Nice place to fishing, lots of spot to give a try
Nice o place for canoing, bird watching, and relaxing with nature in the middle of two islands Montreal and Laval
I enjoy my walks there. Not too much crowded, allows for picnics.
Love hanging out here.
Very nice park, dog friendly too ????. Walking in this park makes you feel like you are taking a walk outside the city. We used to go to the park along the water in Verdun, but we prefer this one because there are more trees and natural paths. There is also a nice walking bridge that you can take to a small island type place.
Beautiful park for a jog, biking or a simple relaxation visit.
Great place to hike, bike, picnic and spend the day relaxing. The place is not far from montreal or Laval. One of my favorites parks in Montreal.
Love this park so many things to see and places that are unforgettable.
Nice place close to Ahunstic.
Nice place for biking or walking with a nice scenery
This is a beautiful nature park love the hiking trails. I would ride my bike here often. They used to have a beautiful old rustic style cafe right by the waterfall there it was pure bliss. They have amazing wild life and species of birds you cant see anywhere else on island. They have beautiful old rustic mills abandoned but they still have their exteriors shells. There was a time one could walk through these mills and experience life on the Island over 200 years ago how it once was. But not anymore for some reason the city barricaded the entrances and you can only view from afar which sucks. This is why they do not get a 5 star rating for this park.
Loved it, next to water, pretty and places set aside to BBQ if you want . Had a great walk about , excellent afternoon.
Beautiful park along the Montreal back river. Unfortunately it's a litter bin and as the milder temperatures kick in its a haven for drugs and prostitution. Bodies are regularly recovered from the park.
Beautiful and peaceful place!
Wonderful place to take time-out and enjoy the peacefulness of nature.
Beautiful place to take a walk or to take some photos!
Great for a run or nature walk.
Great place to go any time of the year
Still quite a lot of people in these Covid-19 times, but people respected the distancing quite well. I had the opportunity to try my drone for the second time. The mosquitos arrived around 19h, but thankfully I had repellant with me.
The river and neighborhood is beautiful, but the old structures feel dangerous. I saw bits of concrete falling into the water while standing there. It really needs a make over
This is a must-visit place in Montreal. Absolutely wonderful for walking near the water. You can see a hydro power station and a dam. A nice little cafe with low prices and beautiful outdoor sitting. A delight!
Grest place for cycling, loved it so much.
Nice park to visit n walk along the water
It's a nice park, wasn't too busy, and it has great view on the river.
My new favorite place to walk.
Very nice nature getaway in the city
This is a beautiful park with nice bike paths and a gorgeous view of the water front and the dam. Totally worth visiting.
Nice park for walking and enjoying nature
Not like an urban park (cut grass an a few trees). Natural state along side the trails. A few picnic tables in diff areas. Can't hear the sound of the city. Just the birds and the water. Some trails are reserved for pedestrians, no bikes.
Beautiful park with a mini forest feeling with a few short trails. The only drawback is limited street parking. Works best if you a bicycle.
Beautiful in face to a great cycloroad in the forest one of the best places to visit in Montreal
Always look at the ground if you dont want to step on animal poo But except that the park is clean and very beautiful
NICE PLACE. NICE BIRDS. DEER. CALETHENICS PARK . NICE PLACE.
I can't believe that I'm only a mi ute away from busy boulevards when I'm here. Peaceful, beautiful, nice walking trails and bike paths.
Great spot to take a nice relaxing walk. It's pretty quiet and it's along the water edge so you have a nice view. There are also some stores and restaurants nearby so you can get snacks if you want!
Nice place to visit
couldn't go if I found the parking ( which the sign said I did) there were 2 spot total is this a joke . Also the price is $7.50 for 2 hrs with no services due to covid 19 This maire know s were she can shove that idea
Beautiful park. Just beware there's poison ivy throughout so be sure to keep an eye on little ones!
Beautiful part with historic buildings and great activities.
Love it. Piece of nature in the city. No weirdos nor junkies like parc Lafontaine. Good for walks biking and jogging. Bike road goes right through the parc. So you can reach on bike from West island to RDP.
I've never been here in my life. Google thinks I have. 5 stars for confusion!
So lovely place, even in winter.
We got engaged here. Beautiful place.
Awesome park for a long walk next to the river. It is quite big and many squirrels around. Parking can be easily found in the street. Some people do fishing there. Last 2 times I've been there I've notices that some maple leaf trees are sick. There are black circles in the leaves, specially in the east section of the park. I hope Ville de Montreal can take care of this issue before it spreads.
Nice park for a walk or a picnic in the nature in the city. Very nice bike paths as well. There's a parking but it's 7.50$ for a minimum of 2 hours and depending of the day it might be full.
I love to walk here and take a break from the city.
Great nature park. Doggy loves coming here. Parking fee is 9$ per day or get the yearly pass. The most beautiful nature park of Montreal. Great every season. Small park, but you can enjoy going on the island and the park. You can rent cross country skies in winter.
I love it. The nature is the strongest point in this park. Used to go on bike for, walking .. chilling with friends .. Even for having fun with my RC Car it's nice, lots of free space. I usually see also people making exercise, why not ? In general it's one of the best parks I ever visited. 5 stars
It's so close to the city, just a bus ride away but it feels that you are lost in the country by the river side. Perfect for walks and picnics
This is a great place for anything outdoors. Thinking about having a great time eating with the family? Great, cause there are plenty of tables. Wanna go for a bike ride? Ideal, there is a bike path all over the place. Or do you simply want to go for a comforting walk? Look no further, cause this is perfect for this. Whatever you can do here, it will be fun as heck.
Great park for a walk and coffee
Its clean, lots of benches, and doggos
Nice little green, hidden in the city.
A classic nature park. One of my favorites
I had anice walk in there really thank you for this beautiful place
Beautiful park with many paths and benches, interesting historical points, and a spot on the river to grab a quick bite.
Great pathway, even for a run or cycling
Beautiful place to spend time with family and friends! Lots of activities all year long
Great place for a walk, a picnic or for meditation. Special area for bbq. Love to there for a walk looking at the river. Peaceful and relaxing. Worth a visit.
The only place with a true waterfront Bistro on the island
Such a huge water side park with bikers trail. Very impressive place to picnic, have a long walk, bicycle ride, sit by the water side and relax with some music. There's also a decent children's play area. My little one enjoyed his bicycle ride and chasing geese.
Realy nice in summer time
Nice nature walk
Nice quite and lovely view for those who love nature
Attractive park and great view at the river.
The ducks and geese are an absolute delight.
Fantastic place to enjoy a walk with your dog in all seasons.
A favorite of mine for both biking and walking. Lots of nature and quiet for the most part. Not bad for spotting some wildlife either. Just be careful as some of the paths are walking only and I have seen the cops ticket people.
Nice hiking experience for beginner
Great place for walks in the dark!
Good place for family
Super big park, scenic views near the water's edge, lots of paths and spaces to visit, not so quiet of an area.
It's a good place to fish.
Scenic and romantic. Good for picnic too.
A lovely park that offers excellent access to the Riviere des Prairies. A great place to see wildlife or to take a stroll amongst the trees. Features an ample spot for BBQs, fun for the whole family
My Beautiful meditation place during summer !
Nice place to walk, very windy though. Also there was a lot of ice when I've been there.
Great place for a picnic, nature walk even some fishing
Beautiful large park near the water line
Amazing park with breath-taking views over the river. You can do cycling, dog walking or just a nice and pleasant walk through it’s paths. Great for children as it has a couple of playgrounds
Nice park for local people.
Nice park for a walk.
Nice park..very clean..but if you go after hours.. theres only one outhouse..on the little island with no toilet paper....?????
Great place. Nice, well kept trails. Good views, abundant wildlife. An easy place to spend many hours in any season...

Beutiful place to go with the family or friends. Trails, sports, animals. Lol. You see alot there its a good time for all.
Great park for a good long walk along the river.
Great place for a walk and to be by water
Located on the edge of the basins or along the Rivière des Prairies, the panoramic viewpoints offer interesting views of the different landscapes of the nature park. The waterfall of a hydroelectric dam can easily be seen. Also, more than 200 species of birds can be observed. The park also has walking and bike trails, and many spots for picnic. Important historical sites are worthwhile to visit: 1) La Maison du Meunier, and 2) Cité historia - Musée du Sault-au-Récollet.
Lovely place for a brisk winter walk. Many paths. Interesting views. Well maintained. People respectful of nature. Really enjoyed!
Big parc
Wonderful place to be, nature within the big town! Just wow!!!!!
What a beautiful day and place to ride our bikes.
Amazing trail!!! Quiet and tranquil alongside the water. Has a picnic area, washroom. It was great sitting on the rock while listening to the mesmerizing sounds of the water from the dam.
Nice parc by the River
Beatiful park. Good walk path. Friendly pet.
In the city but doesn't feel like it
Beautiful park. Long trails.
Great for walking or jogging. Dogs allowed with leach.
Good place for outdoors activities
Great park to walk or ride through. Take some sun and listen to the birds sing.
Amazing place! Great for a bike ride
Great place to walk
Very crowded over the weekend and no parking
I could have given this five stars, but what's perfect? God would have to appear there in person for me to give it five stars. That being said, if there's a god, then he created this parkland beauty. Bike there 4/5 times a week. That should tell you how it makes me feel. Go and enjoy.
Thé girls are so lovely
Great natural park. Has a BBQ area.
Nice place to see and feel the beauty of nature.
Love it, very nice place to be
Great for bike rides; excellent bike trails. A good place for a picnic.
A hidden jem with walking and bicycle paths, picknick tables and a restaurant.
Enjoy a nice walk face to the prairie river north of mtl
Enter into history, ruins, river and dams. A plqce you can walk, bike, run, and just play around.
We were a group of friends seeing each other since 17 months and we had a great time making some bbq. We had a couple of drink and had no problems at all and people around didn't bother and no police in sight. We left around 9pm
Amazingly peaceful place with a viewing deck, trails, ruins, a picnic area and a small cafe.
Great place to walk and bike around .
The park is a hidden gem in the north of Montreal! It's perfect for hiking or biking. The picnic area is clean and you can bbq. We saw alot of people fishing, it might be a good spot! The parking is 9$ for the day or you can park for free in small streets.
Wonderful place to visit!!!
Nice park, great views in Montreal

Absolutely beautiful for a morning stroll with my dog
Beautiful place to spend the day with family.
The restaurant is closed for renovations, but still very peaceful and quiet. Great for a break from work or a quiet walk.
I've love this park since I was a little kid. I spent a lot of time there in all seasons and it's always incredibly fun. You can walk around the beautiful trails or stroll around on your bike and enjoy the ride. Beautiful spot with lots to do and discover. One of the best parks in Montreal for all seasons.
Nice fishing spot!
It's also great in winter for hiking and skiing
Went with the students, breath taking views of the river and old barrage
