My very first visit to this park . I really love this green space . The moths and bugs were a nuances. It was still manageable. What I didn't like and strongly believe is needed is water supplies especially if we are encouraging hand washing and following safety quidelines during this pandemic .

Lovvvve this amazing spot for walking, running, biking, walking lunges, meditating, high kicks...whatever fitness style is calling you, this super sunny Park has space for it all. And the BEST sunsets. Enjoyyyy Oh and don't forget to pay for parking at the machines at the entrance. ????????????

Beautiful park! Doesn't even feel like you're in Montréal. Great to watch sunsets. There are washrooms though no sinks (at the tip of the park). It can get quite windy at times. Tons of nice and fun sculptures and statues throughout, bike path.

The park is amazing. Has outstanding view to the river. You can watch the beautiful sunset. You are free to barbecue and have fun with your family. It is a good place for ridding bicycle, exercising, running, playing skate and etc. It is one of my favourite place to visit.

Right by the apartment, we have a gorgeous park where you can do many activities. One activity is just admire the birds and squirrels and enjoy the leaves change during Autumn.

As always, this park is a great place to run, bike, walk, or just sit, eat and enjoy nature. It can get a bit crowded on weekends and holidays, but it's still well worth it. The ice cream stand at the entrance is worth a stop too!

Absolutely beautiful place to walk, run, cycle or ski, season and weather dépendant. Be aware that the area isn’t really sheltered from the wind, so will e extra cold on windy winter days.

Big and open park which is great as it’s not accesible by car, only walking or by bike. It’s a great bike path around the island and river family friendly. Not too many outdoor park games for kids

Very nice place for bike and picnic. Be aware of birds and moths. There is a parking lot (to pay). Love that there is a lo t of green space. Some parts of the park was dirty with the feces of birds. There are trash cans, picnic tables and a lot of places to do bbq.

This park is in the midst of nature as it is surrounded by water with a massive parking space, which is a plus to it. However, the mobile toilets are the worst that I have ever seen because they appear not to have been emptied in the last 12 months. Aside from that, the park is a great place to be for inspiration and partying.

Visit the park every now and then especially in the summer. It is absolutely beautiful. With the breeze, it is very relaxing and fresh for people to walk, cycle, rollerskate on the assigned trails, or to have a picnic on the grass, or chairs, or the picnic tables. There are ducks and geese on the shore, and the view from the park to the river is amazing. There artworks in the park make an indispensable decoration. There are bbq spots close to the entrance. Parking is easy with meters. Sometimes the wind from the lake is strong. Bring a sweater. Toillets are found close to the entrance and the end of the island.

Pathways and cycling lanes makes this park a must see in nearby Lachine. With views of the St Lawrence River and the historic canals, i recently spent some time photographing its' character using a modified camera. Whether you come for exercise or relaxation, the Park has many amenities and is accompanied by exceptional views.

Surrounded by water on the three sides, and a beautiful Sunset location at the end with flights taking off every 5 minutes, this park is a happy place for photographers. There is adequate space for BBQ and family get together. The walking/running and cycling tracks are separated, and you would certainly enjoy doing those activities by the waterfront. If fishing is your hobby, you are bound to have a good time, as it is next to the river. There are some sculptures spread across the park as well. On the flip side, the restrooms are way too small, and accessibility is a problem, as it is on the slight uphill kind of thing. Cleanliness was also a constraint, because of the bird droppings, but it's ok I think.

Park Rene Levesque never disappoints, although be prepared to deal with a lot of people, and if you go after 9:00 pm you start seeing junkies and people selling drugs trying to be discrete, a pity some of the young people don't care and just throw garbage to the water, but overall an amazing experience specially for sunsets..see photos below find me on Facebook as GGGMontreal
