If you live in Laval, this is the best family park you can spend with your loved ones on weekends. So many kids activities(mini zoo, little train, pony ride, kids playground, etc) They have environmental protection themed lecture and display, very educational. Not to mention themed festivals all year round!

The flowers and trees all around the parc are really nice. lots of picnic tables. the is also a cantine, but don't expect to get really healthy food. they serve burgers and poutine... Pretty busy place when i went but definitely still a nice escape for people who live in the city. Free parking for 5 hours next to the baseball diamond which is nice. The nice guy in the greenhouse was eager to tell me about the types of birds and koi fish. Beautiful willow trees and pond area as well

The park in the summer looks like something out of a Monet painting and in the winter, is a quiet, magical destination to go for a walk and play. Parking is free for Carte Avantage holders in Laval, but there are also tons of street parking on location. It's a wonderful community meeting point and it's gratefully free! There is also a playground for children, a small farm area where you can see animals, and an abundance of picnic tables in the summer.

One of the few places I enjoyed the most, it had many fun activities. You have the choice of going ice skating, where you have to bring your own skates. There is also a small farm where you can see alot of animals including pigs, rabbits, cats, horses, peacocks, and cows. There are also trails to go around the whole park aswell as a cross country skiing trail.

Only locals are allowed to park at the facility, even though they may live nearby. Visitors from other locations are allowed in, but we're not allowed to park at the facility, even though we spend our money just as the locals would. It makes no sense to me. The park itself was beautiful but it was such a hassle, I doubt I'll be going back.

Great place to spend some time with kids. The lake is nice with huge fishes. You can rent a kayak or canoe to leisure on it. But do it soon, there might be a 2 hours queue before.. huge kids amusement park with soft ground. Small farm to check on some animals and there's a carousel for kids to ride horses.

What a fantastic place to bring your kids. Small farm full of animals completely free. Restaurant Is waaaaaaayyyyyyy over priced but this place was made for picnicking anyways. The park is large and clean. Lots of swings and lots water fountains to keep you hydrated. Had a blast. My son and I will be renting a canoe next time we go.

Currently end of August, the flower beds are well prepared. There's a koi pond, horticulture is very diverse, interesting wooden structures and bridges. Worth taking some time to walk around

I went for the first time with family. It's a great place for family outings. There's an extensive playground for children of all ages. There's also a beautiful pond and gardens. Beautiful grounds nicely kept, and plenty of space for picnics. Plus there's a small petting zoo for the little ones.

Great family place, clean and with many cheap cost activities to enjoy with the kids (pedalo, canoe, poney carrousel, train, climb). The waterpark it's free and usually it's open til 7-8pm. It has a nice obstacle jumping thing but only til 4pm 5 trampolines and 1 slide but summer 2019 was broken so it was close. You have pic nic tables but not food allowed in the pool area thu only on the water play ground for toddler. Perfect to spend the whole day walking, grab something to eat, swim and rest. There's also a casse-croûte with several choices and really affordable prices it has lunch, breakfast, deserts, drinks you name it. The most of this park is that it has a lovely "little town" just for kids it's so cute and kids will love it: train station, church, police station, clinic, house is all kids size and there's some games you can borrow for Free!!! There's also a free parking! ** Be aware sometimes the park it's closed due to some kind of events so it might be frustrating and disappointing arriving there and realizing not all the park has access so check before you go. Have fun!

LOVE this place in the mornings. Very early around 6:00 or 7:00. Go see the farm but you will have to arrive a bit later to see the animals. All the gardeners work hard to make Lovely Gardens LOVE the Equinacea Garden in JULY AND AUGUST. In winter you could skate (nice skating rink). You can now bring your dogs since 2015, BUT THE PARKS HAVE NOT YET TAKEN OUT SIGNS OF INTERDICTION FOR DOGS !!!!!!! This confuses clients...... This is actually the reason i gave it only 3 stars, TAKE THE DOGS NOT ALLOWED SIGNS OUT WHY DON'T YOU????

During covid-19, water equipment rental not available and playground section is surrounded by tall metal fences. There is a hand washing station before going into the play area and watched by 2 people. We went for an evening picnic with friends by the water. Parc is very well maintained with beautiful flowers and decoration and can still see some of the farm animals.

The park is beautiful to take a walk. The kids usually love the visit of the farm (free) with its horses, pony rides (fee applies), pigs, birds, peacocks and the greenhouse with its birds and fishes. Ice skating, bob sledding, tobogganing and cross country skiing in winter is possible.

The most popular park in Laval. With multiple activities ranging from canoeing in the summer to ice skating in the winter, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Birders will enjoy the vast amount of bird species that call this place home. A small "farm" is available for the public to visit which contains all the classic farm animals. If animals aren't your thing, botany is also a prominent aspect in this park with beautiful arrangements of flowers and trees every summer with greenhouses housing more plants to compliment this.

Parc is bigger than what I thought. Lots of married people decide to take pictures here. Flowers, Animals and the lake. Nice place either for a walk or family sport here. Don't forget to get a Laval Advantage card before you go there. You can save some money on parking.

Only one complaint of this place is when employees get around in their carts they bring all the dust up and it's very unpleasant. Saw a lady pushing her baby carriage and the dust went all in the stroller. We get all the dust in our food in the picnic area. Better stay away from those paths.

Went there with my 3 year old daughter and she loved it! The whole park is constantly being worked on and you can take amazing pictures with the little ones. There's also a small animal arm for children to look at which we obviously couldn't go to because of the ongoing pandemic!

If you stay away from the areas with shrieking toddlers, this oasis is very peaceful and zen with its pond (ducks, carp, bullfrogs) and weeping willows, footbridges and pretty landscaping. The petting zoo is depressing but the greenhouses and gardens are well worth seeing.

Great place in Laval to visit with family... Ok there is a petting zoo... Pigs horses chickens goats bunnies.. etc .. there are ponies to ride and a train that runs around the park you can get on for free. There is a big pond full of coy fish and you can also get canoes and paddle boats. Little restaurant fir food. Lots of open space and flowers... Very nicely maintained. Parking is 7$.. but you can find parking for free on the side streets.

I love this park. So many things to do alone, with a partner or as a family. You can rent a boat, a canoe and enjoy some time in the water. The Centre de La Nature de Laval is a great big park that offers plenty of activities to do all year long. During the summer you can go to have a picnic, take a walk or enjoy an outdoor concert. In the winter you can bring the whole family for some sledding or ice skating on the frozen lake. They also have a place where you can sharpen your skates. For the Christmas Holidays you can buy handcrafts and various goods at the Christmas market. The farm animals are also always there all year long. The kids will enjoy seeing goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, horses, donkeys and even take a ride on a pony. The mini botanical garden is also open all year round and offers a nice tropical setting. Where else can you see a papaya tree growing in the middle of the city... in the winter? Beautiful setting for wedding pictures in the summer. Great place to bring the kids.

Love this park. A must is the pony rides on weekends, and as of st Jean pools are open. Rent a cannoe or a paddle boat. The play park for kids are all renovated and look great. Visit the farm and pet the animals. Go for a walk or a run on the many paths. Enjoy a picnic. Plenty of shade to play ball.

Very nice park. It has a big pool, lots of parking space and not a lot of bugs. Some areas are restricted for bicycles. Even kiddie bikes aren't allowed. Good place to hang out. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic but no stores or cafeterias to buy a bottle of water.

It is one of the biggest green area & park in Laval. Centre de la Nature is a well-known park & area in Laval. It is family & kids friendly & at the same time for teenagers & lovers as well. In the spring time & summer time it really worth to go & have a visit & have a tour all around the area. Totally you would enjoy your time & it makes you feel happy & relax by seeing different kind of creativities, nice flowers in various colors, a big lake full of fishes. One of the best urban parks in the Montreal suburbs, with amazing shows in the summer and even a cool farm. Beautiful place for wedding pictures, there are also great children playparks Oh, and it contains the tallest mountain of the island of Laval! Granted, it's just a hill, but it shows how flat the island is.

This is the best nature park in the greater Montreal area you have it all here. Petting pens with goats and sheep, small farm to view animals like horses pigs rabbits to name a few. Section of exotic birds and real live jungle with amazing species of plants and trees. I love this park amazing place to spend the day with the family and it is all free except for the snack bar. You can even come here and skate during the winter months on the frozen over pond.

Great park in all seasons. The mini farm and greenhouse are unique and fun. The splash pad is fun, but very cold water. Despite the rumours, there is not a dwarf Kraken to be found in the pond. Events are usually well organised although parking can get tight. Fantastic park!

This place is part of my childhood. My family used to live in front of it, and we would go often. Its a breath of fresh air in Laval. Lots of trees, great for walks. Depending on seasons, you eighter rent a boat or go ice skating. There are animals, and a lot great installations (Beware the goose) Bunnies and such. A great place for a date, family reunions and many other things. A lot of parking. Food stand. Architectural displays and statues. 10/10

Very interesting place, not an ordinary park. There are a variety of animals, a lake to fish and to do kayak, very nice spots to enjoy the nature and also tables for picnic. No entrance fees, you only pay for parking and it is easy to find a free street one. Unfortunately bbq are not allowed, it would be a perfect place if they allow bbq.

My granddaughter loved the play area. We didn't get much further than that. I was a little disheartened about the parking. I know the idea is to get more local people to park there cars there but there was only on the street parking for non residents which I think is wrong. There are two car parks that I saw both for residents and so we parked on the street. This is the closest nature reserve to where we live.

Dont like the fact that you have to pay 8$ if not resident of Laval, but it is not unreasonnable. Boat and train-train (4$ per person) is pretty cheap. Very nice to come chill out with family and kids. Very nice place to walk around!

Went during winter to go tubing. Several slopes are available, bring your own sled or rent tube for 5$. There was a free do Hill skiing for kids 5-8yrs

Not too bad. Finding a parking spot is an issue. The playground is swarming with kids, which is natural, but keep an eye on your kid because it's easy to get them lost, especially when they're not aware of surroundings, they move a lot and don't do regular checkups if you're around. There's a pond where you can feed fish - they jump out of water and catch the bread you feed them. My kids really liked that.

The best public park in the Montreal/Laval area. Large walking areas, more than one pond, flowers to rival the botanical gardens, and family friendly. Activities include many animals and a mini-barn, a very nice kids' playground, gardens with seating, some pop up stands, and during Halloween time special displays and activities.

Really nice park, you have even a small farm, which now is closed for covid reasons. Parking is not free(like someone would take the bus for a relaxing walk...) so a pain if you are tired of paying everywhere you go.

The reason for 1 star cuz bad service for the boating. They lied to us, they said can be refund if it is raining but when it happened, you can not get the refund and you can not back on the boat after the rain stop. You have to bring your young kids on the boat during the raining or wast your money. We like this park but not the unreasonable rule for boating. At least, they should tell you the rule before you buy the tickets, not lie to the client. We paid $8 for 5 minutes cuz my youngest one is only 2yrs, I don’t want let her get sick for this $8. If you want to bring your kids for boating, be sure choose the sunny day.

Really fun nature center with so much today. Perfect for a day trip with the whole family. There are okay grounds, a greenhouse, please zoo, lake with equipment to rent for rowing etc. Even a train ride for the kids. Seems like also a water park area. Lots of big open fields for sports games as well as lots of more forested areas for walks. Highly recommend a visit to this park.

We went there over Thanksgiving weekend and it was packed. People celebrating Birthdays, we saw 4 weddings, taking their photos there. I would recommend going on a less busy day.

There is a playground for children, beautiful outdoor gardens, a skate park, greenhouse, a farm with animals, a cute village of tiny buildings (church, barber etc..) a small lake with kayak rentals, or skating in winter. There are a few activities that cost about $4 such as train rides and pony rides for kids.There really is something to keep the whole family busy. I love this park and go in every season. Parking is $7. If you go during the week there is sometimes street parking available, usually difficult to find on weekends. *Tip: If you are a Laval resident and have the Carte Avantages Laval parking is free when you show your card, it also gives you a $2 discount on equipment rentals

I can only share my review for the skating ring there. The two times I went there, the ice was pretty clean and neat. There is always a person for security and as soon as I fell, that person was there and gave me a bag of ice to put on my injured knee. You can also rent skates and other things related to winter activities. Will go back there for sure...as soon as my knee get better !

An amazing experience. It's a wonderful botanical garden mixed with a huge parc. Green areas, picnics, playgrounds for children, people skating, jogging, reading, performing several sports or hobbies.. That's cool. They even have a farm and an exotic greenhouse. You must go there alone, with friends and family. And the best of all : it's free!

Great park for families. There is a farm and 3 playgrounds. Long walking areas. There is also a track for running. There is also a lake. Parking on weekends is 7$ unless you have the Laval card Avantages, than it's free. We live near by so we visit often. It's one of the best parks in laval.

Amazing place to spend on a beautiful day with your family. There's a small farm (free visit), a great walking path, a nice lake where you can rent boat, kayak, etc, at reasonable price. There are picnic tables (no BBQ), and a huge park for kids with padded ground for safety. Everything you can ask for to take your kids! Enjoy!

Its nice, easy to park (free for people of Laval, easy on street for others), has toilets open even during COVID. Can get busy, but calm most evenings. Has animals and a lot of flowers. Can distract the kids for a couple hours. FREE.

Great place to have a picnic or have a nice walk. Family friendly. We did some kayaking which was nice. The views are great, the parcs are big, the kids loved it. There's a little farm where you can see some animals (cows, pigs, chicken....). Poney riding was also available. If you have the card "avantage laval" you have free parking and discounts on some stuff. Will defenitly go back.

(French review below) Free parking, but only for Laval residents. However, there is ample parking around the park. Beautiful, clean, family-friendly, and even has a little farm area. During the winter, the little lake turns into a huge skating rink. Ideal for long walks, especially nearing sunset (for all you hopeless romantics) ------------------------------------ C'est malade !
