Fantastic location on the North Shore. There are changing rooms with bathrooms. There are shelters with a working woodstove and sometimes there is wood sucked as well. There is fresh water beside the shelter- you will never get water as fresh as this! The civic address is 828- turn right after going through the Stanhope park entrance.

Very good facilities. Life guard on duty. The playground is new and well laid out. Picknick shelter immediately accessible from playground. The beach is sandy, sloping gradually into the ocean. Water temperatures range from 20°C (end June) to 25°C (in August).

Perfect for a small family. Amenities are close and it's not too busy. Also the beach is smooth and not too deep. It is the best beach on the island

Had a great day here today! The beach is long and well maintained. The water is really shallow, providing comfort for kids playing in the water. I would recommend better signage for finding washrooms and parking, but otherwise great.

An excellent beach in Stanhope National Park with ample parking and washroom and shower facility. Compared to the Cavendish Beach, this is much better with less people. The best feature of this beach is the ramp and pathway onto the beach. Also available are several water wheelchairs!

(Translated) There is a beach for the physically handicapped. A nice ramp to go down, a carpet on the beach, wheelchairs for the sand! There is a shelter for picnics, a park with new modules, nice toilets and a disabled toilet with showers! There is also a large parking lot. The beach is shallow, the waves are small because there is a sandbank not far away. (Original) Il y a une plage pour les handicapés physique. Une belle rampe pour descendre, un tapis sur la plage, des chaises roulantes pour le sable! Il y a un abris pour les pic nic, un parc avec des nouveaux modules, des belles toilettes et une toilette pour handicapés avec des douches! Il y a également un grand stationnement. La plage est peu profonde, les vagues sont petites car il y a un banc de sable pas loin.

It has all the conveniences of Brackley (minus canteen) but on a smaller, slightly less populated scale. Bathrooms and change rooms are a short walk from the parking lot and there's a short boardwalk to the beach (with ramp!) Pick a couple of wild raspberries on your way through. There's also a shelter with picnic tables and a park on the low cliff overlooking the beach.

Beach itself had a few rocks, but in the water was perfect. No rocks and no abundance of marine life. Water was calm and beach was large. Top end PEI beach.

Lifeguards during the day, check the tide, but there is a sand bar in the middle of the water, water pools between it and the beach, ideal for kids keeps the water pretty warm. Water is not very deep also gppd for kids. All sand!

One of the best beaches, with showers and wc, even with the kids playground, wheelchair accessible. During low tide there is are small islands along the coastline where kids love to play

You can walk for miles on some of the most beautiful beaches in Canada. Sunsets are amazing here too. Full on brand new washrooms and showers, good job Parks Canada..

Nice family beach. Roped off safe swimming area with life guard. Lots of room, rarely crowded, clean beach. Scenic views. Changing rooms, showers, and bathrooms close by. Playground also close to give the children an additional distraction. Water fountain and bottle refill station by bathrooms.
