The "pond" is a tiny water hole found within Victoria Park that gets filled with pond lilies and other vegetation along with sticks and garbage thrown into it by kids and irresponsible adults. It could be a charming quiet spot if it were maintained better.

Beautiful park for all to enjoy. People fantastic, lots of space for the kids (or grand kids) to enjoy. For many displaced Maritimers it is a wonderful experience to remember a simpler time.

Many years ago, a man with a drink, or, two, too many, said to have fallen in and drowned. Thus, Dead Man's pond! Spent my summers as a child, running through the wooded paths circling this pond and swimming in park pool.
