This Park corresponds to the category of Park.
great for kids
Wish nature allowed me to swim here
Lovely quiet beach and facilities.
Beautiful beach and view. Careful of the Lions Head jellyfish in early summer. Definite recommend.
We are in lot 9, full service. All lots are big, we are lucky and have some trees. Grounds are well kept, washrooms are clean. The water pressure in the showers is excellent! There is a laundromat and a dishwashing station. Lots are very open. You can walk or ride your bike easily to any place in the park. The beach area was very nice. There is a kids play area as well. All in all, a very nice park. The ladies at the front gate we're all very friendly.
The beach is massive and the views are stunning. Very packed in the summer.
Beautiful!
July 2013. PEI. One of the first things you will notice is the red soil. The trip across the confederation bridge is fantastic if the weather is clear.Touring the island watch out for the little red foxes that run in front of your car.Drive safe.I hope to come back here as its so very picturesque.
Camping park was ok " wash rooms all new , beach fabulous.
Lots of space for tents, as mine was the only one I saw. RV area was very popular. Nice playground and some walking trails along the bluffs for pics.
Great spot but swimming prohibited makes it lose 2 stars!
A hidden gem
Wonderful history on first European landings. Great location for rv and camping
(Translated) When I called and asked if she spoke French she told me stupidly no and asked me if I spoke English, when I said no she hung up the line in my face !!! ???? ????
Beautiful park, campground and beach. Staff are pleasant and very friendly.
Beautiful beach very clean
Nice views
Great beach. Clean. On the smaller side. Still great just the same.
Nice spot to pitch a tent. Relatively quiet, partially sheltered site. Boys loved roasting marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire pit
One of the best beaches in the area, the park has continued to be well maintained for many years. A new wash house in the day-park makes bringing children to the beach a little more pleasant, and a mix of new and old playground equipment always seem to be a hit. Storms and dredging have substantially changed the shoreline in recent years. While it had always been a nice beach, it is now a wide stretch of white sand, even at high tide, but still has the sand bars that make playing in the water so much fun.
Facilities are close to basic
Great for the whole family.
(Translated) Very nice beach and it is shallow. The water is clear.
Very nice, pretty, sand of darker color, accessible.
So many flys. There everywhere
Great place
The park/campground itself is nice, however they redid some of the tent site markers and replace all of them. The ladies at the station let us know that our marker might not be there and that someone was using our site the day before by accident. We spent time trying to find the marker and the erroneous camper was still in our tree-shaded spot. When we checked out to next morning due to our tent ripping in the wind overnight, they wouldn't refund me for the next night's reservation - they require 72 hours notice for unexpected gear failures.
Beautiful spot
Nice fall walk on the beach
Pretty nice beach, but no piers to fish on
Super helpful staff
A place must visit.
(Translated) Beautiful beach. You have to walk a long time to have water at the waist! (Original) Belle plage.
Really beautiful. Camping here as well as spots to just park for the day. Playground and the beach are free. Little fishing harbor right outside the gate with a restaurant and great views.
Beautiful camping and great beach
Felt like I was at a resort down south very nice location to come have a vacation
Great beach. The sand is nice and you can walk down towards the cliffs and have your own private beach area.
(Translated) Very clean and beautiful beach! (Original) Très propre et belle plage !
Very nice, quiet and clean beach. A lot of sand and space to set up a place to sit. The only downside was the amount of crabs/lobsters in the ocean. Some people may love that though. The bathrooms were very clean and updated. There was beautiful red cliffs and red sand.
We love the location. There is a nice trail that leads to a quiet beach. Unfortunatly they put a massive RV next to our tent. They ran the generator often and it blocked any views. Not sure why they did not put them with the other RV's. There were empty sites that would have been better suited.
Favorite beach in PEI.
AWESOME SPOT! We hit it during shoulder season (Sept 19) just before it closed for the season. Only a handful of other people there. Free warm showers included with flush toilets. Non serviced site $26 canadian. Dramatic views and cliff side spots. quiet and clean
So beautiful, great parking and clean washrooms
It was really nice. You can also walk really far in because of the body of sand inside the water. Its amazing
Beautiful stretch of coastline near Malpeque Harbour. Campground is a few minutes walk away.
Great park and beach!
This is a small Park with limited amenities
It was close when I went, but the view of the beach was great
(Translated) Beautiful red beach with cliffs. Several convenience facilities and also accessible to people with reduced mobility. The beach is guarded. There is the possibility to rent kayaks.
You would think you were in the Caribbean.
My favourite beach this summer. Huge sandy beach, warm shallow water. Fun to watch fishing boats as they try to navigate into Malpeque Harbour.
Sites are good. The beach is nice and huge. However there are a lot of jellyfish in the summer. Which sucks. Also the mosquitos are ferocious. More than half the campers were inside their units to get away from the bugs. The internet policy here is strange. Only 1 device per site. You must pay extra for other devices.
Love it
Great place to walk and take in the scenery.
Such a great beach day. Used to lifeguard here and back for my annual summer visit. Always cool to see how much the beach changes year to year.
This is a quiet spot where the oyster company dock. It's a good spot to take some pictures, but the main attraction is the restaurant.
Nice beach, beautiful but bathrooms are not very clean.
(Translated) The name sounds strange, but it's one of the most beautiful places I've seen on Prince Edward Island. This park is perfect. You have access to the beach you can go by vehicle. So you can park near the entrance to the beach.
Great beach to go for a swim! We caught a really nice sunset last night in the campground too. It's a bit hot in the open field during the day at this time of year (late July) for renting but nice tidy grounds.
(Translated) No charges. Great beach. Windy! (Original) Pas de frais. Super plage. Venteux!
In spite of no power or water due to a storm, we enjoyed our stay.
One of the beat
More to see and do here than the other fine Provincial Parks we camped at on the shore in North Cape PEI.
Gorgeous beach
It was a good beach
Great location but the campground is way overdue for an upgrade. Bathroom & shower facilities are rusty and ancient. Most of the sites aren't private at all; only 20% with some trees. Be ready to be close to camping neighbours. Fairly priced.
Great beach, nice campground
Great place for the dogs to run!
Great place, friendly staff and spotless washrooms!
Great park for kids, no shells on the beach which is awesome for taking a walk
Great beach! Family fun had by all.
Google address is wrong. It should be at "449 King St, Rte 20 Malpeque" instead of "449 Malpeque Rd, Lot 18, PE C0B 1P0"
Awesome
Love it
Very nice supervised beach! Great for children and families
Great Place anytime of year. Be prepared for wind.
Nice beach, accessible, but no swimming allowed! :(
This is my favorite beach so far! Nice cliffs and tide pools. Washrooms as well. Don't think I'd camp here , driving in we saw what other are unhappy about. Super tightly packed campers.
(Translated) Excellent provincial park. The facilities are not as good as in the Cavendish federal park, but the landscapes are more beautiful. (Original) Excellent parc provincial.
Great beach for kids at low tide, shallow water for a long ways out.
We decided to stop by this beach based on a suggestion. When we come back to PEI this will definitely be the beach we spend the majority of our time at. The large sand bars and warm water make this beach extremely enjoyable. There is anabundance of animals including crabs, hermit crabs, and lobsters that can be spotted easily in the shallows of the beach. My boys were in awe!
(Translated) One of the attractions of Edward Island has no features (Original)
Perfect campground because of lot of space and calm in the night.
(Translated) My favorite beach, memories of my younger years. (Original) Ma plage préférée, souvenirs de mes jeunes années.
Love the beaches and cliff views!
Nice spot but the lifeguards are "special"
Amazing beach and view
Next to no privacy, but the views are amazing!
Six boats coming in at once up the channel!
Beautiful beach on the North shore of Prince Edward Island. Clean and well kept. Excellent facilities on site for washrooms, showers, picnic area, etc. Nice little playground for children. Beach itself is great for walking. There is also a provincial campground attached if you like to camp.
(Translated) Superb beach (Original) Superbe plage
It's my favourite beach!
Lovely beach to catch some rays, listen to the surf, dig your toes in the hot sand, or just go for a stroll. Swimming is currently not permitted, and can be dangerous due to rip-tides and undercurrents.
Beautiful. Can't wait to go back and explore more
Beautiful view
Beautiful scenary and trails! Definetly worthed going

Nice beach
Great campground
Had a wonderful time and the weather was wonderful as well. Beach was great to walk on and great views.
(Translated) Just a beach too beautiful with fine sand and red rocks.
Great camping near the beach
Cabot Beach is one of PEI's most adored beaches to go visit! It is located next to the Malpeque Wharf so while your lounging/tanning on the red sand beach you have the opportunity to enjoy the views of many different fishing vessels on there way out to fish & returning back home. The red sand and the red rock cliffs that line this beach is breath taking. Anytime of the day you will see this beach lined with beach goers enjoying themselves. Trust me you'll not be disappointed with your visit to Cabot Beach & the Provincial Park that is a great spot for camping. The park is clean and well looked after. Highly suggested area for Anyone that Is looking for a spot to take their family camping.
(Translated) Very beautiful view (Original) Tres belle vue
Interesting that it is a beach park. I feel like it is better to sightsee here rather than swim. Still good, just not to relax in the water in
Lots of space and beautiful beach.
(Translated) A very beautiful beach with very few jellyfish, even in the season! A superb place perfect for a picnic and a swim!
(Translated) Beautiful park with beach, large campsite, reasonable price (Original) Beau parc avec plage.grand camping.prix raisonnable
great place for a morning walk or a swim, if you can brave the water temp, most of the summer (August) its quite warm. It is also very picturesque with the red sand, green grass, and boats in the harbor.
(Translated) Such a wonderful place !!! (Original) Tellement un endroit merveilleux!!!
Another one of Prince Edward Island's great beaches.
(Translated) A very wonderful beach. Very well maintained and clean. And extremely few people there. Highly Recommended. (Original) Ein ganz wunderbarer Strand. Sehr gepflegt und sauber. Und extrem wenig Leute da. Absolut empfehlenswert.
Camp staff were lovely (Deborah is the best!!), clean grounds, just a wonderful camping experience.
Beautiful place!! We just love this Beach ????
Its a beautiful place for a walk or to enjoy a bath. Beautiful red color sand. There so many activities that you can do there. Plan to stay for 1-2 hours
Awesome Beach
This is our first stay at a PEI Provincial Park and we were disappointed with the RV campsites. Although the park is quite large, the RV campsites are clustered very close together and there's almost no trees which means there's no shade and zero privacy (tenting sites fare better with most being treed sites). All of the facilities like the washrooms and the activity center are in desperate need of an upgrade. On the plus side, it's relatively inexpensive, there's a nice beach, the WiFi is not bad (but limited to one device only), and a short walk outside the park you'll find a seafood market / restaurant.
I really wish that I had camped here as the sites are nicely separated and it looked like a mellow crowd. The beach was perfect. Sandy and shallow forever. The kids loved it! I may go all the way back to PEI just to experience this place again.
Beautiful place
Mixed red sand and some cliffs
(Translated) Nice little campsite but not very well maintained. Not very intimate. Satisfied despite everything because it is affordable.
Great park. Quiet and peaceful
Less pristine and smaller than the nearby National Park beaches, but free to enter and charming. Lots of grass to play on. Walk and wade right down the beach and around the bend into the inlet. It will likely be deserted and the water is MUCH warmer. Fisher boats pass nearby. Watch the receding tide in front of the inlet--we saw a kayaker rescued by a fisher boat when he was unable to return to land.
Peaceful spot ❤
(Translated) Very beautiful magnificent beach !! (Original) Très beau magnifique plage!!
(Translated) Beautiful large beach! (Original) Belle grande plage !
Must go to. Will be going again next year.
Super big campsite near the water with the perfect sunset view. Laundry available. Shower and bathroom can be improve. For reservations, you have to come in and look for the campsite you want. Then come back to the front to reserve it. Map for campsite was a bit hard to understand.
love this beach
This is a great campground. We camped twice over the summer. Always quite, no drunks. Lots of space for kids to run. We went to one of the National campgrounds, sites were practically stacked upon each other, no privacy. We got the hell out of there and gladly drove the hour to get to a proper campground!
Beautiful campground. Friendly staff.
One of our favorite campgrounds on PEI! Friendly, helpful staff and a great location with beautiful views.
Amazing
Such a beautiful beach for walking! No swimming this year though! Watch out for rip tides, they're very dangerous.
Huge RV park that is very well kept. This is a great place to bring young kids but older kids not be bored. The beach is very close and the sunset are amazing here.
Beautiful beach, lots of great shells to collect
Nice beach and cliffs. Camp grounds were busy and it looked like a nice place to camp.
Nice beach, not too crowded.
Awesome Beach!
Spacious, quiet and fabulous beach and sunsets
Excellent camp ground. Staff is fantastic, friendly and easy to deal with. Though the weather this Canada day weekend was horrible, the site had enough trees to keep the wind blocked and a good amount of privacy. The trails in the woods, and the beach is beautiful!
Lovely park, more sea life than we'd seen in the rest of the trip. Highly recommended.
Lovely beach with red cliffs and smooth sand
Washrooms could have more work done on them.
Beautiful Beach, easily one of my top three beaches when it comes to how pretty it is. You can't really swim there currently due to a riptide making it too dangerous to enter the water. If you are like me and don't swim, and like combing the beach for shells and things, there are a lot of really great shells, as well as FANTASTIC driftwood. Just don't come here expecting sea glass ;)
Great beach highly recommend when I got there I was surprised to feel something nibbling on my feet then I put on my goggles an noticed little shrimp where cleaning my feet, cool Lots of hermit crabs and red rock crabs very calm beach
Loved it
(Translated) Very nice site. View of the sea and sunset. Correct sanitary fittings but not too practical for showers.
Beautiful beach, not nearly as busy as Cavendish although we went during the week. It's so beautiful and clean!
Beautiful beach.
(Translated) Outdated sanitary facilities! (Original) Sanitaires vétustes!
(Translated) Beautiful beach with dark sand. Traffic rate very good, with nice parking. I highly recommend.
(Translated) Perfect and close to Kite Point ????
Very beautiful campground! Except for the mosquitos!
Beautiful sandy Beach!
Peaceful. If you're looking 6o get out into the wide open, this is your spot. Lots of beach frontage. Dunes, cliffs. Walking trails through the woods. Accessible in the winter as well. Great spot for snowshoeing in the winter. …
Nice quiet campground!!! Nice employees.... Visiting friends there.
This is one of our favourite beaches on the island. As a provincial park you can pay to camp but it is free to come in and swim for the day. Less than an hour from Charlottetown. Have some fresh oysters at the Malpeque Oyster Barn and you've got yourself a perfect day trip.
Great beach. Campsites near the tall grass field or groups of trees are popular with mosquitoes ! They are waiting for you ! Great restaurant nearby at the Malpeque Barn, shopping in Kensington.
A hidden gem on the island. Clean bathrooms, awesome staff and within walking distance of one of the best beaches I have ever been to. If it were possible I would give it 6-stars
Pretty dead beach since you aren’t aloud to swim here anymore! Love walking the trails and visiting all the wildlife, gorgeous spot!
Nice place to visit
Beautiful and scenic. New facilities and beach improvements.
(Translated) I will return again several times. Very accessible, proximity to beach, toilet, large lot, tranquility (Original) J'y retournerai encore plusieurs fois. Très accessible, proximité plage, toilette, grand terrain, tranquilité
Fantastic spot for camping!
Fantastic spot for camping!
so far favorite beach in pei
Great place tons.of space to walk your dog or bike on a deserted beach. Staff were fantastic but lots and lots and lots of masquitos.
Nice , very calm space, dog friendly, walking at broadcast. Plan to return.
Great staff and a great place with beautiful scenery
A little piece of heaven
Compared to Ontario parks, this was less. The lots are extremely small (had to park over fire pit it was so small) and canopy couldn't be opened all the way. There isn't anything like a park warden here, so fire bans aren't enforced. Free WiFi is "offered" but once you finally get connected, you cant get anything over it - just used my cell data. The only things going for the park are the 3-way service and the close proximity to the ocean.
Beautiful beach. Very clean.
(Translated) A beautiful provincial park. Large and well maintained lot with a variety of lots with or without service. The beach is superb. The front desk and field staff are very friendly. (Original) Un beau parc provincial.
Best camp ground on the island
(Translated) I like it but don't go back if you have had enough of the seaside (Original) J aimé mais faite pas dedétour si vous en avez assez du bord de mer
Can't beat camping right on the waterfront
Quiet and beautiful sunsets with amazing beach...
Visited early August, temperature of the water was great and saw lots of crabs.
Wouldn’t really recommend and definitely won’t be back. We went to Cavendish and had debated sleeping in our car overnight but decided to book at Cabot instead to give it a try. No swimming pools, not really much of a store to buy anything if you forget anything, small playground for kids but nothing special. Bathrooms are kind of run down and need an upgrade. RV’s looked really crowded, however we had an unserviced site. Unserviced sites are in a big field with few trees and because it’s close to the water the wind is extra bad. Our tent blew over during the day and we came back from Cavendish and ended up sleeping in the car anyway. Not much there to keep you occupied in comparison to other campgrounds on the island.
Perfect for kids and families.
(Translated) Nice. (Original) Schön.
(Translated) Very beautiful beach, uncrowded. (Original) Très belle plage, peu fréquentée.
Beautiful scenery in winter!
Beautiful scenery in winter!
Beautiful loose sand beach. Lifeguard on duty. Water was shallow for quite a ways, but there was a fair amount of seaweed in places. There was a tap to rinse off with at the top of the boardwalk. There are washrooms with running water.
(Translated) Personally it was the favorite beach of my whole family. The water is warm, transparent and very shallow. Especially a lot of crabs, fish and shells ... The park and the beach are not very big, but we really liked it.
This is a gem. This beach is away from the big tourist area of Cavendish, about a 30 drive from Cavendish. It does not cost anything, free to enter, free to park. Great spot for kids, the water does not get deep very quickly, and beautiful sandy beach. This is my first pick of all the beaches I have been on in PEI
Amazing place for sunset. Very great for tent.
Beautiful trail and beach , upset there no swimming this year but its still great for a nice walk :)
Lots of fun friendly staff beauitful beach and park!!!!
Beautiful beach, nice campsites and clean washrooms.
(Translated) Beautiful park beautiful beach had a nice temperature new sanitary units a good restaurant and fishmonger at walking distance (Original) Beau parc belle plage eu d une belle température unités sanitaire neuve un bon resto et poissonnerie a distance de marche
Beautiful sand and water I just wish it had been warm when I was there...
Needs care and attention, run down. The park has so much potential its heartbreaking to see it like this.
Fresh snow....snowshoeing!
Great place to play around
Great beach, dang jellyfish...
Nice beach, warm sand, good facilities to clean p and change. Just one drawback...mosquito heaven. ????
Wonderful place.
Beautiful place and great for kids.
(Translated) Typically beautiful fishing port! (Original) Port de pêche typiquement magnifique!
Will have to visit again as most services were closed and beach was closed to swimming
There are many beaches that are more beautiful, but a nice family place.
Clean and easy access to beach
(Translated) Excellent really welcome very clean beautiful beach satisfied. (Original) Excellent vraiment bien accueilli très propre belle plage Satisfaite.
Love the park and all the local amenities.
Very busy weekends, book early. Washrooms and showers kept clean but in need of an upgrade! Friendly staff and grounds well maintained. Super nice sandy beach area!!! Great family park.
One of the Best Beaches I visited in PEI, but I think the signage could be better to let visitors / tourists from Cavendish and surrounding areas how to get to Cabot Beach, because even though I got directions from locals I still got lost twice.
This is a little island gem. We found it by accident but will definately be going back.
(Translated) Beautiful beach in a magical setting. The beach was unfortunately closed when a storm arrived. Many mosquitoes in the park.
Very nice park. Clean facilities. Nice open sites.
Very clean, has three way and drive through ease for campers. The beach is so, so but nicer than most.
(Translated) Very relaxing !! (Original) Très reposant!!
(Translated) Courteous service with kind and sympathetic attendants. Nice, well maintained and clean campground. There were, however, a lot of mosquitoes.
A gorgeous beach with lifeguards, lots of sandbars at low tide. A beautiful healthy beach with fish and crabs swimming around in the tidal pools. Try to come at low tide. You need to be careful of the currents with the tides.
Beautiful park, just watch out for the currents
Beautiful beach , nice walking trails through the woods with great views from various points along the trail
Nice relaxing campground.Pet friendly and very pleasant staff . A little different than last year due to the covid restrictions .
Perfect Beach!
Great park for the whole family. Clean washrooms and plenty of campsites available away from the busy areas. They also have a staffed kids program and a dedicated space. The beach is huge and the water is lovely a warm.
The best beach stop on route 20
(Translated) Beautiful, the forest the beach the campsite. Very recommended.
very nice and clean
Hi I think 72 hrs for cancelation is to long we canceled 4 campers that were coming in for 2 nights possibly 3 but because the of the rain and wind we are not going they took one night plus $10.00 off the 4 of us we are not happy we will not return to this campground when another time another time we had to cancel because of dirty weather they only took $10.00 off of us will not return to this campground
Great park.
Great place and great views
Pretty park, quiet, mosquito's are hungary!
Beautiful
Nice clean beach and warm water
Don't believe those who say it's cold to swim there. It's cold in Alaska
A beautiful beach with accessable washrooms and playground
Great beach, life guards are amazing! Water was really warm
Great views, nice beach for swimming. An old favourite
(Translated) This park is worth visiting, with shade, water supply and clean toilets. (Original)
Absolutely beautiful!
Lots of camping site and lots of open areas to play and run. Great day park next to beach and within short walk from camping sites. Great beach!????
So beautiful and peaceful.
What a beautiful beach! Good park there too
Nice beach. The water is cooler. No jellyfish.
Provincial park beach has facilities and supervision. About 5 minutes of walking from parking to beach is required, with some stairs.
Nice beach
Plenty of parking; dogs on leash are permitted. Beautiful beach and day use for picnicking and family gatherings.
Beautiful beaches and sights at Cabot. Love that there are lifeguards on duty all along the beach! Beaches are well cared for and amenities are plentiful...including very clean showers.
(Translated) Beautiful quiet beach. (Original) Belle plage tranquille.
(Translated) Superb beach. Slightly less interesting at low tide. A little jellyfish, but it's nature! :) (Original) Superbe plage. :)
Great beach lots of space to enjoy with kids .
Nice to much mosquito ????????????
Great friendly staff, beautiful place with awesome beach on one side and beautiful sunset at the cliffs on the other. Serviced spots are small and too close together feels like a parking lot to me for RVs. We moved to unserviced site after first night and was happy. They were doing renovations so i wont complain about washrooms and shower that havent been renovated yet.( i understand it all takes time and glad to see work being done.) There was another place newly renovated and nice to use close to our unserviced site. Only thing i can think of to make this place 5 stars is make some of the unserviced sites with electical as they are more private and or spacious.
Beautiful beaches and big trailer park
