Extraordinary! Grounds are so clean. The garden and it's water fall is simply gorgeous. Very quiet, multiple trails are easy to find with benches and picnic tables to rest or have a happy picnic. A perfect stroll!

Depuis maintenant 3 ans plusieurs sentiers de marche (faciles) de plusieurs kilomètres ont été ouverts dans la partie la plus « sauvage » de l’ancien jardin et sont entretenus à l’année. C’est vraiment un endroit idéal pour se balader et voir la magnifique nature évoluer au long des saisons. Bon endroit aussi pour promener son chien (en laisse bien sûr)... on en croise de toutes races et cela reste propre, les propriétaires n’ayant pas l’excuse d’absence de sacs...il y a plusieurs distributeurs gratuits toujours alimentés. Des tables à pique-nique, des poubelles et des bancs ont été ajoutés, quelques panneaux d’interprétation sur les oiseaux aussi... Profitez de ce beau havre de paix.

Beautiful place to walk around on a nature hike. Bring a picnic basket. This was Quebec City Zoo previously. Since closing this site has roughly 9 acres of nature and up keep grounds. Birds and different bird houses placed around the site. It has some beautiful buildings that was built from the last century Windmill and luscious gardens and flowers. There is washrooms and impressive surrondings. Creek and waterfall dam which homes about a dozen ducks. A must when in Nature walks.

The entrance leads to a beautiful and well maintained free park. There are 2 available washrooms with drink fountains. There is plenty of parking as it previously was a zoo. They also opened a big walking parkour (less maintained, more nature-like) which you can easily take walks for an hour. We frequently encounter ducks, marmots, birds and squirrels.
