Jayant Mathur

Beautiful place. We live in PAB and were looking for a place to ride our mountain bikes one morning; came here. There are two trails on which we can use our bikes - the Newfoundland T’Railway (old rail road tracks) or the path to the small waterfall. Recommend it the weather is nice!

To be fair — I got here in the middle of the night and wanted to see see prior to boarding my NL to NS ferry. —- but, the roads were horrendous, and it appears most of the park is meant to be a camp ground. I didn’t get a chance to see the beach, but I was told it’s beautiful. It was too windy and dark that night to enjoy the beach, though I did drive the treacherous 15 minutes to maybeeee see it. I would detour again during day light hours to maybeee see the fabled beach. And I love the name. Ha. Cheeseman.

Very nice. Convenient camping before/after ferry. It was a little buggy on one of our stays but not terrible the other. The beach is so peaceful! Will stay there again the next time we visit Newfoundland.

We nearly got carried away by the flies but besides that, everything was great. The campsites and comfort stations were well maintained. I'm sure I'll end up staying here again in the future.

Great spot to transfer on and off from ferry to North Sydney. Excellent beach a few miles for the campground, well worth seeing. As with all Newfoundland and Labrador Parks a very clean facility.

Velda Tapp

Peaceful

Barb Ruggeberg

This is a beautiful park with a fabulous beach. We stayed at site 14 which is right next to a waterfall. The beach is a 5 minute drive away, but worth it. Port aux Basques is a great little town and while you are there, you should check out the Butterfly new and used book store. It is carefully curated and they know where everything is. I wish we could have stayed here longer, but sadly we(like everyone else) were just passing through.

Gordon Muscroft

This is a beautiful park. Was impressed with the camp sites too. And there's a beach walking distance from the park. Definitely going again.

Ron Rowe

Water unsafe to drink..road into campground disgusting. ..was told it was serviced but only had electricity... and worst was told my 40 ft trailer would fit. ..not a chance even in their so called open field...was not impressed.. after planning for 3 years not impressed with newfoundland provincial parks. .

Tobi McCarthy

Beautiful beach!

Jerry Brake

Scott Ka

Great beaches and scenary. Amazing!

Donna Rochon

Darwyn Sproule

Nice park / location. We found the gate staff could use a little enthusiasm and a lesson on customer service. And there was someone on the site we reserved when we arrived. It didn't seem to matter that we booked a month in advance. The boil water advisory on all drinking water is inconvenient too.

Becca LeRiche

Beautiful well maintained campground. Gorgeous walking trails, and one of the biggest and best soft sandy beaches on the Southwest Coast.

Gerry Sheppard

Very clean quiet park with lots of amenities for the kids.
