Nice view, but most of the beaten paths a person would like to walk are permanently closed off. (You can see trails from people not obeying the signage). Can't understand why there is such a big parking lot when the lookout can't hold as many people as the parking lot allows.

We saw this from Cavendish Beach just south ...I think...so we walked over and checked it out. Very glad we did. Easy access and spectacular formations not to mention the view. As it turns out you also never know what sea life may come up for a visit.

The location was beautiful. It is well worth the time to walk paths. There are two main paths. One to the right will bring you to higher cliffs. The one to the left will allow you to walk down a little to step on some of the red cliffs. There is a large parking lot, as this is also the entrance for walking / biking to other parts of the park and to the beach.

Cavendish Beach West never disappoints. To the east beautiful red sandstone and white sand beaches - amazing sunsets! To the east, amazing red sandstone cliffs. Golden hour before sunset provide amazing lighting and they are also amazing in the mornings in the summer months.

High red cliffs with an ocean lookoff. Excellent photo stop. Turn in at the Orby Head sign. This is a small sign so watch for it. Easy free parking close to cliffs. Be sure to follow the full length of the path to get different views of the cliffs and water. There are no facilities here such as washrooms. Be careful when near the cliffs and don't climb over the fence to get a better view. The lookout is worth the stop and will probably take 15 to 30 minutes.

Absolutely gorgeous views from the northern part of the island. There are a couple of different spots to access the Red Cliffs from the parking lot, with informational signs as well as pathways to the ocean. This was a most wonderful place to watch the sunset after a great day on the island.
