This Park is classified in the category of National park.
If you go on a sunny day the sea is amazing! There's is a little forest near by around 6 min of walking but its really calm and chill to look around! Amazing place to go if you are near by!
Nice beach,It's still a little cold. it will take some time to get into the water.
Amazing!! Gets busy after 1pm. Get there early. There is a little place to buy food. Great shower facilities and bathroom.
Should be free of charge!~!!! It's a joke for National Park
Very long and winding beach. Very good for walks and swimming. Lifeguard on duty during the day. Main Beach does need to be combed as there are alot of sharp broken shells and garbage.
Wonderful place to go. The beach is clean and the washrooms are fine. There is hot water in the showers, which I find amazing after walking on the sand or bathing in the sea. Entry is free after 5:00 pm.
Amazing beach to explore with great views. If you like geology and the formation/erosion of rocks, it’s a great place to visit. Also very affordable!
This is one of the best beaches in the maritime but is quite busy. Come before 9 if you want to stake your spot. The red colour or the sand is nice and you can get a good view of the cliffs as well. The foot wash station is a little walk from the beach along a board walk so plan accordingly.
Beautiful expansive beach, lots of the “red rocky coastline” we were looking for. Lots of parking, but pretty hot when we went in August so make sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen. Snack bar didn’t have too many options, so recommend bringing your own food. Water was fairly cold even in August (I’m used to Great Lakes temperatures), so don’t expect it to be super cosy. Pictures I attached are of a trail you can take to rocky area slightly away from beach.
This beach is amazing and so close to Charlottetown! Good facilities and parking. Beach is beyond clean. Canteen is covid closed so take your own snacks!
Awesome beach. Neat to see the cliffs and such. Lots of shells scatted about. Nice trail to the beach as well.
Just a wonderful place to visit. Beautiful sunsets and beaches.
Really nice beach. The men's bathroom can get quite gross. Entrance fee required per person.
The beach has new facilities and a nice new accessible Boardwalk down to the beach. The facilities are awesome, clean and well appointed. There's also a canteen onsite. The beach is monitored by lifeguards in some areas and the beach is nice and sandy.
One of the best Atlantic beaches i have visited. Nice clear water but a little cold, Overall it was a wonderful experience. Just make sure to check their website for jellyfish warning lol
During our visit to PEI, we stopped at the beach with our friends and their kids. This is an amazing beach with great sand and breathtaking scenery. I would love to come back here next time and enjoy the sun and the view.
Omg the views are beyond amazing. The sand is fine and so soft. You need to stop here if your in PEI
Fine sand, great for families. Lifeguard on duty and marked swimming area. Showers, toilets and a kiosk for ice-cream and snacks. Well-organized and marked parking. Worth the entrance fee to the park.
Beautiful place, lots of space and usually populated. Great place to take pictures of the scenery.
February 20th, about the only time of year that you can have the beach to yourself. Lots of tracks around though, boot prints, skis and snowshoes
Beautiful beach with change rooms, small canteen, life guards, lots of parking and the parks board brings out educational tables! The views are great but if you want a good picture, go early before the crowds. Water temperature was great, so it really depends on the time of year and your own tolerance to cold.
Great place to go for a swim and sun bathe on the beach. Very clean.
What a lovely place. Canada has some great beaches too.
Very busy place on a Thursday afternoon in August, but the great facilities and trail system attached, along with the fact we already have a Parks Canada annual pass, made this beach an easy choice on our vacation.
Beautiful clean sandy beach!
Beautiful beach not that far from Charlottetown but is quite overrated by tourist agencies
Any season, you can find activities to fit your needs, the beauty of the land.
Cavendish National park and beach. Wow what great facility. 1 beautiful beach with sandy brown sand, lifeguard stand and swim area. Trails. Great facilities including warm shower and change room.
Some say it's too busy but it was very fine when we were there
Amazing beach... But really crowded for social distance practices. Too bad there are only 7-8 weeks of good summer weather. ????
Great Beach to come to. They have outdoor showers, a boardwalk to go to the beach, a lifeguard supervised area, and a pretty long beach. There is a trail near the beach leading to other areas, which you can go by foot or your own bike. The water was great, but the water can get wavy. Normal for the ocean. Recommend to come here.
Pristine Beach with ample walking and Beach territory. There's a life guard area as well! Very shallow sandy decline so the kids can safely wade out pretty far. Lots of parking and on the day we went there was a hands on three hour workshop on sand castle building! Clean washrooms and change rooms. Such a beautiful place to come here! If you are looking for an even quieter spot, head down the road a bit to Ross Lane!
It's nice but can be very busy. Water is a bit deeper than some other beaches so we found it to be a bit more cooler. Depends on what you are looking for ????
The devastation from Hurricane Dorian caused alot of changes to the campground but overall still a fine campground and beach.
Fantastic beach! Bathrooms, shower rinse station on boardwalk. Tons of space for families!
What an amazing experience, this place is gorgeous. The water was clear and the beach was very clean. Within a short walk on the beach there are some magnificent rock formations that are spellbinding. If you're in PEI definitely check this place out
Excellent experience! Great sandy beach and clean water. You van fid lots of shells just left of the guarded beach.
Awesome. Lots of beach side - sand space. Water not too deep which is good for all the family. Red fine sand. Can walk to the park nearby. Great place for panoramic views. Supervised beach means there are lifesavers all the time. Lots of parking places. Changing rooms, showers and toilets also available at the entrance. Cannot compare with the Caribbean but work while you're in Canada. One of my favorites beaches in PEI.
Amazing beach! Impressive amenities too for such a small area
It was great I loved it.The water is the perfect temperature to swim and it’s best to go when it’s warm out so that you can lay on the sand ,swim in the water or just take a walk. And after you can always go to eat a delicious cows ice cream so that you can cool down a bit.I really recommend it !????
Excellent love it
We visited off season in November. The views are stunning. Definitely worth a visit.
A national park and a treasure at that. This beach has plenty of parking, changing rooms separate from the washrooms. A clean boardwalk up to the beach with a fantastic view. The water is a bit chilly but on a hot summer day it's just what you need.
Visit every time I'm home. I love that you can walk for miles. The new stairs and walkways are a great improvement.
Nice beach! I recommend going early to beat the crowd. There is a small canteen at the entrance that sells snacks, drinks, and ice cream. There are also change rooms, washrooms, and an outdoor shower area. But once you enter the beach area, it's all beach!
One of the most stunning beaches in all of Canada. Beautiful water and beach, but the most impressively is the access ramps for physical disabilities. Would recommend for anyone looking to get a taste of island beaches.
Beach was clean, and had very good facilities. Defi itely had a great time with my wife
Very clean beach, clean sand, water is also clean. You can see through the water, like crystal clear. It’s the best beach I’ve ever seen. The pride of Prince Edward Island????????
Nice beach! Can walk to red cliffs as well, costs $7.90 per person to enter, pass good for 24 hours
Beautiful beach, easy parking, clean facilities. Lifeguards on duty. Lots of people here.
Beautiful beach. Better than Florida in my opinion.
What a gorgeous beach! A must see in PEI.
Gets rather busy between 1:00 and 4:00. Make sure to bring some extra food with you, there is only a small bar serving hotdogs around.
Nice beach to spend the day with family!
Beautiful scenery! Lovely sand to walk in, sandy area for swimming, beautiful dunes behind you. Seashell hunting, relaxing in the sun, walking through the waves, and swimming are all available to you. Bring a good camera as the scenes are worth capturing!
Super tourist attraction! We visited so many other spots that were peaceful and serene that this shocked our senses. Beach was clean, facilities were available, and if we go back we will walk the dunes boardwalks. Definitely need to see the red cliffs in contrast to the "white" sand.
If you're in New Brunswick this is a "must do". Great beach that stretches for miles of soft white sand. The water here is much warmer than in many parts of the maritime provinces making it a very popular stop. Lots to do in the Cavendish area including restaurants, hotels, gas stations, shops etc.
B + L = ♥️
Nice and safe for kids
Very nice beach. Fine sand , lots of parking and beautiful views. Excellent for kids. Cons: some people can find the place to crowded, you have to pay ~7$ to access the beach and it is often windy, so, expect some problem with your umbrella…
Incredible beaches. Beautiful views. Ocean was great. Has showers along the peir, posts of water and tide conditions along with temperatures. Stores along the boardwalk. Red sands. Beautiful cliff views. Lots of parking. Cost for entrance (approx $15 for 2 adults) lots of parking and spots, world famous Cavendish Beach is a must. Highly recommended on the list of "Things to see on the Island"
Construction still under way, but great spot.
This beach is super busy and it’s for a reason. It’s got a great changing facility, fabulous beach, amazing views, warm water with fun waves and a life guard on duty. There is a trail off of the parking lot. It has a floating boardwalk that takes you over the ‘Lake of Shining Waters’.
We were only here for a short time due to travelling constraints but enjoyed what we saw. The beach was clean and well monitored from what we saw. There is a great near by cliff like area for good hiking and awesome rock formations.
Amazing views! Just so pretty!!
Many trails explore them all. Specifically the one which takes you to the north side of the Atlantic view.
Great beach, could see for miles, just wish it was warmer so we could've gone for a dip.
So beautiful
Lovely expanse of a beach. Lots of parking. This is part of a national park. But if you come after 6pm, it's free (tip). We came on a very windy day, so could not enjoy the beach much. But I can see it being extremely popular on a nice warm summer day. The dunes walk should not be missed.
Easy access to the beach for all also handicap.
One of the best beaches in the Maritimes. Clean, clear water, beautiful sand.
Beautiful and uncrowded, free parking (when we were there) showers and toilets nearby.
All the photos of Cavendish Beach are taken at this section of Cavendish National Park. There is an entrance fee that allows you to enter the North Rustic Beach area, as well. At Cavendish, you have a roped off area that has Lifeguards. At the entrance to the beach, there is washrooms as well as change rooms and a canteen style restaurant. The boardwalk to the beach has showers to rinse off after your beach day. There are stairs as well as a ramp for those with disabilities, that leads to a wheelchair accessible ramp to the water's edge. If you want there are at least 3 special water chairs available for those who need assistance. The water was wonderful, with sandbars at low tide, for digging and making sand castles. There is plenty of room for everyone at this popular beach. I would suggest you go early (a pass let's you in before those who pay that day), gates open around 11, I think, and stay late. Check open and closing dates prior to going. They were working on a new toll booth when we were there. Have a wonderful day! We did.
Beautiful beach and National Park. This is typically a summer and tourist destination and can be quite busy. The beach is great in season, but the overall area has much more to offer. There are walking trails and bike area that can be utilized the majority of the year. Service are only provided in summer months, so be sure to plan ahead. Well worth exploring and spending some time.
LOTS of people. Under construction as of August 7th and parking is free! There’s sand dunes/ walking trail throughout and a large beach. A canteen, showers and bathrooms are available. No dogs permitted on the beach, but expect to see smuggled small dogs
Nice sunny sandy beach. Before you walk to the beach talk all your supplies ,shades, mats, food etc. If not it is a 20 min walk both ways from the beach to the parking lot. There are changing rooms and fresh water showers. Few picnic tables available in the common area where there's is a shed and showers. It was one of the Best sandy shallow beach that we visit. Safe and fun.
Beautiful walking on this very calm red beach.
Loved everything about this place, beautiful beaches, great trails, will visit again.
Beautiful huge red sand beach. Shallow (although not terribly warm) water makes it great for kids to frolic. Lots of room for visitors and the bathrooms & changerooms are clean. Great place to visit!
The weather was perfect. The waves were huge. What a beautiful spot in PEI
Huge beach with lots of space. Beautiful scenery. There are public washrooms open here even after the info center has closed for the season. Good access to biking/hiking trails. Be prepared to do a little walking.
This is a great beach! The life-guards on staff were very friendly and the sand was nice and clean. Smoking laws are politely reinforced here to keep the air clean for your family as well. Water both times we went this summer was very clear and free of Jellyfish, so the kids loved being out in the water. All around a great experience!
Truly picturesque beach. Clean, neat and tidy.
Beautiful beach which highlights sand dunes, red sand, ocean waves, marsh land, and a floating dock over a lovely pond area! Public washrooms, lots of parking, it truly was a beautiful place to visit!
Best stop on PEI. If you go anywhere plan to spend 4-5 hours here. Beach, trails, bring a lunch and enjoy the day...cost about $8 per adult and youth under 17 are free in 2019. You must visit this location.
This beach is beautiful. out of all the beaches I've been to in the mertimes it is busy there but I just walked to the back of the beach to avoid all of humans. The view from the beach is amazing and there is food nearby (Cows and Beavertails) there might be more but I know for sure that those stores are there. I don't know if there's a bathroom nearby the beach but there might be bathrooms near Beavertails.
Cool sand dunes
Very scenic with sevaral beaches big and small where you can access the Gulf waters
Awesome beach, beautiful, just beware that if you go mid July you are not getting in the water to swim, jellyfish will sting you like crazy. Great place to go though, lots of things for the kids.
Loved the place so much ????
The best beach by far in PEI. Avoid the touristy traps along the main road before turning into the one leading to the beach it's located in a National Park so it's tolled but the annual Parks Canada pass gives holders entry at no charge. The beach is pretty wide and fairly shallow approach means you can be out pretty before you reach crotch level depending on the tide. It had washrooms and change rooms along with a small snack bar.
Absolutely beautiful evening!!
Maintained by Parks Canada on the north side of PEI. The prominent red sand dunes are everywhere. A new welcome center has been completed together with new cedar walkways. Good to know that your entrance fees are going to something tangible. This beach can be windy though so plan your visit accordingly. Unless it's a warm and humid day, water temps can also be cold.
Amazing views in the National Park. Camping is quite comfortable, affordable and close to the beach. Lots of places for tents and RV's. Plenty of washrooms, showers and laundry. Grass is manicured and garbage cans emptied on a routine schedule. Main office sells I've and wood for campers as well as a limited amount of snacks. Staff put on information specials in the small Amphitheater located close to the beach. Great place to spend a few days.
Very nice walk on the beach at twilight!
Beautiful red beach. The sand has such a unique consistency and is red like the soil. This area has public washrooms and a foot was station. There was also some Parks Canada people on the beach with en education booth showing native wildlife and artifacts. Great place to visit, wish I had more time there but I was part of a tour.
Beautiful beach. Usually the red pebbles/stones are cleared during the summer for swimmers. It's still too early for swimming so the stones have not been cleared but it made for a gorgeous looking beach.
Awesome beach in Cavendish,PEI. The entire Northern part of the island is beautiful showcased by this beach. The water was warm and the shallow beach extends very far into the ocean. The waves were pretty calm for a family friendly day at the beach without fear of trouble. Yes it is a little more crowded than others beaches in the area but the long coastline allowed for privacy for those who are willy to venture out a little further from the crowds, the option was there. I would make this beach a must see destination as the national park offers much more than just the beach.
Cold water even in August, but beautiful beach with soft red clay underfoot in the clear water and lots of sea life.
+19C and it's 16th October!!! BEAUTIFUL day for a walk along the beach. Love it!!
Really nice beach!
An excellent beach. A true “sea” experience; you’ll see some seaweed and gunk pushed up from the ocean. 4 kilometres down the beach, one can find the vulnerable piping plover species (for avid bird watchers). Ospreys, great blue herons, numerous gulls and bank swallows are spotted here. You do have to pay to enter - it is $7.80 per person or you can pay $15.80 for a family. Seniors and children have discounted pricing.
Easy drive from Charlottetown. Clean, relaxing. Great place to spend a day at the beach.
Can't find anything better. Beautiful and vibrant beach. You have to pay to enter, but you'll use the pass for free up to 24 hours, and stay as long as you need. Accessible for disabled people. I think more shower spots are needed. A couple of restaurants nearby. Great family experience.
What a beautiful setting! PEI at its best. It quickly turned into a hot and sunny fall day but fortunately the beach was quiet
We visited PEI last year (2018) and love the island, its remind me of Iceland in Europe
Our last night on vacation we came down to Cavendish beach to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. We walked along the beach and sat in the sand as the sun set. I would have liked to spend more time here, hopefully next time.
Great beach, went in the summer and had a tonne of fun. The water was extremely cold so only a few of my summer group went swimming. It is extremely beautiful here!!! The change rooms were ok, kind of dirty but not too bad. Also my friends socks got stolen here which was weird :/
Warm water to swim in, and a really clean beach It was still early on in the season, so the beach was not packed yet
Trully amazing beach, huge and wide, clean , perfect for holidays for families , the water is not deep , very safety
Beautiful beach. Water is nice for swimming not very cold in August. We loved swimming in it.
Went at 8:30 in the morning. It was so quiet and peaceful and stunningly beautiful. Was thrilled to see the beach wheelchairs and access to the water for the wheelchairs.
Favorite Canadian beach...best sand!!
Not officially open yet today so it was nice to have the place to ourselves. It was a nice walk and lovely to watch the waves
We couldn't visit ot during the day time as we had our dog along. Pets are not allowed on any National Park beaches on PEI. We went back the next day to see the sunset. It was right after the thunderstorm. It was quite deserted and beautiful. People started pouring jn after we got there. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. I think you will be able to get both views at the beach...sunset and sunrise. The facilities are great. The washrooms were clean and the boardwalk is gorgeous. The grass makes this beach special. Keep mind though that there are no tress close to the beach, so take what you need for shade.
Cold and unsuitable due to arctic red jellyfish which sting. View was pretty but we came to ????♂️????
Amazing feeling when you are in bare feet to have a walk on the beach !
Beautiful beach, but quite busy. There are other beaches along the north shore that are just as nice - just less busy and more private. I’d recommend adventuring around.
The beach was busier than I like, but for a tourist area I expected it. There are many attractions and family activities to enjoy close by, Anne of Green gables historic site, mini putt, golf and a phenomenal haunted house, if you are into that type of thing. I think I even saw a water park.
Amazing windswept beach with huge waves and gorgeous sand dunes. It was raining but great for a walk. Happened across a giant communal sandcastle being built, organised by the park workers - all in all a v nice experience.
Best sunset in PEI. Wonderful place to spend time.
One of the best beach on pei. No rocks at all but can be very crowded
Beautiful dunes, you can analyze the erosion of the beach pretty well
Nice beach within the national park. Good facilities.
Beautiful, clean beach, red sands, no rocks as you walking in the ocean. Shallow waters to a certain distance. We were there last year on vacation to East Coast and went back again this year.
Pics speak for itself. On our 20th anniversary this is my husbands 1st time ever seeing a ocean. The views are just breathtaking. If ever we come back to P.E.I we will definitely be back.
It has everything you need. Places to change, snack bar, boardwalk to a sandy beach, showers to clean off the salt and sand, big waves. We had to pay about $7 per person to get into the park, but it was worth it to us for the amazing beach and amenities. It is also wheelchair accessible, including a ramp to beach and an accessible carpet-thingy to get to the water.
A beautiful clean beach with warm soft sands, red cliffs overlooking and a lovely board walk next to it. Everything is perfect with the exception of the lack of care that is shown to the sand dunes which were once well guarded. We saw multiple people on it. No signs or gate in front of hill. Please put more protection around it, since they are easily destroyed just by walking on them. Stay off the dunes! Don’t be that guy.
What an amazing beach! The water was so warm.
A very well maintained national park. There are washrooms, change rooms, as well as a small canteen. Trails are clearly marked. Would recommend to others!
Not a good beach day had chilly winds and clouds. Beach and dunes were great.
Nice view on the cliff. We sat on the right side closer to the cliff and there were not too many people. The sand was fine
As far as beaches go, this one is beautiful and a worthwhile stop if you're visiting PEI. It was particularly windy the day we visited but still managed to have our family picnic. The water was too cold for any of us. Perhaps it gets warmer later on in the summer.
Been to Cavendish numerous times, this was first time on the actual beach!
Beautiful spot to take the family. Lots of parking, clean restrooms and a spot to fill up your water. It is a lot of walking if you have somebody that has any difficulties.
You don't see places like this everywhere! Was breathtaking definately drive thru both areas of the park
Nice beach. I enjoyed. Recommend it
Beautiful place to watch sunrise. Lots of parking and warm early morning washrooms. Nice boardwalk and if you are lucky, the occasional early morning fox.
Third time here in my life. Always want to spend more time when I visit. It's incredibly picturesque.
Great beach. Great amenities including change rooms and bathrooms. However each time I swim on PEI beaches I leave the water with a scummy residue on my skin that I haven't ever seen swimming on other salt water beaches...
Nice beach located in an easily accessible area. We went close to the end of season so it was not crowded. If you're into taking nice photographs, this would be a great addition to your trip.
Most beautiful beach and wonderful views nearby. The sand is so good and clean. Its easy to reach from the town. The wash and rest area are also very clean and water availability always to help clean from the sand. Good place to go with families and friends. Lots of greenery and spots for photographers. The fresh atmosphere will make us relaxed and stress free. Lots of Parking spaces available .Totally recommend.
Pretty nice. Large facilities. Big beach looonnng boardwalk. Lots of parking. Wheelchair friendly. They can even float a paraplegic with a special float chair
Very nice beach, sand is super good, water is super clean, and if you walk longer, the red layered rocks is wonderful. And the trail is the widest i ever walked.
First time there, it really is a beautiful beach to experience.
Calm and beautiful sandy beach ???????? you have walking trails along the beach. Sunset views are awesome. ????
Amazing views!!! With red earth, everything is red the dirt is red, the rocks and , the sand! Now to the next part. The Fox's. PLEASE DO NOT FEED THEM!!! MAKES them dependent on people also make them run towards cars. It's very cool hanging out with Fox's just don't feed them!
Beautiful Sandy Beach that stretches quite far in all directions. It also connects to fairly nice walking and biking trail. Full washroom and rinsing facilities on site.
Great beach- supervised in summer with a roped off swimming area. The day we went there were some surfy waves for the kids to have fun jumping into. If you walk further down tons of space to spread out. Soft sand and clean area.
Very nice beach with soft sands and waters around 20 degrees C on summer. An amazing section of the beach with red rocks gives a special view.
Is there really bad beach in PEI???? NO! Only drawback is the $15.00 you have to pay to park and you may have to walk a bit after that depending on how busy it is.
Closed for the winter. Was quite windy, had trouble holding my phone straight at the beach. Washrooms are also closed. The municipal office connected to the Cavendish information centre let me use the washroom. Tim's and gas station in town are also closed
The Beach was beautiful. And I loved the tent they had set up with employees that showed the water animals and shells and allowed us to touch them. My 4 year old boy learned so much and they were so great with him!
So very pretty!!
An amazing Narional park. Very simple installations. Here it's all about nature and fun. Beautiful sandy beach. Do keep in mind it's bit windy here. So bring some pins to keep your towels down. Water is cold but hey, it is the north-atlantic after all...
Beach really beautiful to spend your sunny days.
Very nice beach. Water was 21 degrees. Lots of swimming. Sand was soft and clean as far as sand goes.
The beach looks spectacular and very calm, and most people stay there. But don't overlook the beautiful boardwalk and red rock cliff area where we dip in and see many small crabs. On the downside, it is somehow hotter or more humid than other parts of the island.
Clean, warm, and with an on-duty lifeguard. Beautiful swimming area.
Beautiful beach and peaceful place!
Great beach - life guards on duty. Water was clean and refreshing. Lots of parking available - clean washroom and change facilities. Small concession stand with popsicles and drinks. Fun day!
This place was beaaaaautiful! We had an overcast day and one if our expeditions in the area was cancelled in the morning so we went to walk along the beach instead. It was pretty early when we got there (around 8a) and we had the whole place to ourselves. We didn't go in the water cause it was very windy and cool, but we had an absolutely lovely walk and enjoyed the scenery very much. The sandy areas had nice soft sand, and bring some runners for the trails. This was one of my favourite stops in PEI. It does get busy later in the day (and I'm sure also during nicer weather), we saw lots of tour buses stop by when we biked by again in the afternoon. Still a lovely stop, would go again, and I think pictures are even nicer on an overcast day. Stunning!
Just across the street from the beach. The owners were awesome! The housekeeper went above of what was expected. She grabbed the provincial park pass for us so we can see all of what the island has to offer. Quiet cottage with everything you need for a long stay. Laundry on site. If we go back to the island this is where we will return.
just as beautiful as I remember. having walkways is great as I have had knee surgery and stairs are difficult.
Nice beach. Has shower and washroom facilities. All for free!
This is particularly hard to rate As a guy from manly beach I'm used to white sand and lots of surf. For pictures and walking around the dunes it's great with clean facilities. For actually going into the water well I went out but didn't stay long
Spectacular view of the striking red cliffs so special to PEI. The beach sand itself is soft and makes for a lovely walk. There were lots of families enjoying the water as well. Picnic tables, washrooms and water fountains are available. There is a pretty walk (Dunelands) over to the more rugged landscapes that I highly recommend. This short and very easy walk goes over MacNeill Pond which has some educational blurbs about the ecosystem. At the other end of the walk, there is a boardwalk in place to protect the dunes and promote public safety as there is a danger of cliff erosion. Nevertheless, I saw countless people (with their kids!) strolling on the off-limits area. Not cool, guys. How about we follow the rules so that future tourists can also enjoy it?
Lovely beach with amenities at entrance. No shade so bring an umbrella. Nice beach to walk
Even with the storm, in early September, water was warm enough to swim, although it was forbidden due to sea conditions. Nice place with bathrooms, changing rooms, showers to clean off the sand and yes, you do have to pay but it's only 7.90 per adult so not the end of the world.
Such an amazing beach. The Water was amazing and really enjoyed our stay here.
