Super cool quite place to have a small fun picnic or rest while walking/Cycling up the sea walk. The beaches are Rocky so don't pack beach toys rest is all nice and Serene

The park is a great place to walk, bike, fish, sight see, and relax. There are some interesting log sculptings and a post marking the 50th latitude. A local can often be seen feeding Bald Eagles.

There's a washroom within walking distance anyway. The parking lot is selubrious. There's no real feature attraction there, besides the Memorials.

My grandma lived across the street from here so I pretty much spent 6 years playing on the beach and park around here. Always loved the carvings and wood forts and the little bay at high and low tide. Many great memories.

Beautiful area. Good parking. Large lawn area with picnic tables, easy for disabled to access. Beach is harder to get to. Large rocks and driftwood debris to walk through to get to the water. Popular park to go to. Good for Beach fires and get-togethers with families. 10 mins from downtown Campbell River.

Night and Day views of sun rising, people walking or helping others tour - people or pets! All ages enjoy and use regularly. Special events for families, charities or special groups are efficiently setup, removed and obviously enjoyed by all including us watching !!!

Rocky beach with an abundance of driftwood. Narrow strip of vegetation next to the bike path featuring coastal plants and some interesting tree species. Tidal pool looks like a great place to check out some sea creatures (we went at high tide however - saw some cool snails though). Nice view to the north of the straight.
