Great campground with spots right at the river edge. August onwards one may be able to spot salmon resting in pools here on their way spawning further inland.

Such a peaceful place, hard to believe this place is just a few minutes from town. My go to camping spot. Bonus the outhouses are clean and don't smell!!

Enjoyed a weekend in March on this clean, quiet and nicely layed out campground just minutes outside of CR. Fresh water in site, outhouses and view to the Quinsam River.

The sites are very close together. If you're looking for a quiet place this is not for you.

Beautiful campground, we love visiting here all year. Our one dislike is the charge for our commuter vehicle. If you're in any type of motorhome, and tow or bring a driving vehicle you have to pay an additional per night fee to have it in your site, or park it out on the highway.

nice little campground right outside of Campbell River. perfect place to camp and fly fish for steelhead. well maintained bathrooms and garbages.

It was not bad but some of the staff are very stressed and often go alittle to far with their personal opinions about how others and I find very aggressive in their attitudes toward some people often yelling and name calling which in my opinion comes across as predijusical

warning, they don't update the status is the first come first serve campsites on the BC reservation sites. Other BC provincial campgrounds south of it seem to do this with ease.Talked to an "Ranger", unfortunately she seemed clueless and says it couldn't be done. Don't believe it as miracle beach nearby marks them off regularly. Disappointed

Park slash campground.. right near town and plenty of parking spots. Fish in the river or go for a hike. Just chill by the fire.. awesome place.

Our first time camping.. it was a awsome experience.. there was always some one coming around to make sure the bathroom was clean.. and always had wood in hand for campfires. I wood definitely go back again.. staff was awsome..

Clean flush toilets, very quiet at night. Be sure to reserve the spots along the river at the BC parks website. Keep your camera ready cause the Giant woodpeckers live there.

We saw a bald eagle during our visit. It was great. They actually clean your picnic table and fire pit with the fee they collect. I would recommend this place.

Great little campground close enough to town but secluded enough to feel out in the woods. Perfect for glampers who want to get coffee in the morning and regular things during the day.

Camp site was cleaned on arrival the family had a great time. Camp host was very prompt and helped us with our wood that disappeared on us, always like going to quinsam campgrounds highly recommended.
