Mike M

Great southern exposure with excellent camping .

Linda Taffs

It is one of the best provincial parks that I have been to. It would be good if there was a more visible sign at the entrance.

Darrell Monczko

Peace and quiet

Rob Lee

10km of washboard gravel road will get you to this lake with clear water. No mosquitos in late august, nice! Each site has ample space for your car and tent. Overflow parking lot gets full on long weekends.

My Nguyen

Lovely campground with private beach access

Tiara C.

Group sites here are AMAZING. no power or showers but the lake is right there to clean yourself up in.

M Landers

Excellent camping spot provided that the generator clan stays home, otherwise it sounds like a construction site with al, the cheap and noisy generators.

Lisa Luoma

Beautiful views! The road in can get pretty worn with washboard and potholes, but once you get to the park it is so nice. Only 31 sites which makes it not so busy. Great campsite hosts

This is the nicest provincial park on the island. The campsites are large, level and fairly private. The steps down to the beach are lovely and the picnic tables are pure genius for parents wanting a place to sit while watching the kids swim. I've been going to Loveland Bay for sixty plus years and I love the improvements. The down side is the road. The first few kilometers are teeth rattling. It was in much better shape in the fifties.

Kate Wilson

My absolute favorite campground on the island!

Tyler Griffith

Really fun

B. Olyn Price

Beautiful camp sites nicely separated from each other. operator staff very friendly and helpful.

Rhonda Stewart

Beautiful place! Hush though... It's a secret...

Sandy Partyka

Beautiful place to camp & keep your boat in the water at the dock. Rocky shore in places but some sandy beach near dock. Campground operator friendly & helpful.

Chuck Stewart

Nice campground with a great dock

Loveland Bay is probably the perfect provincial park campground. Every site had a lovely view, was water access, and ample space plus decent privacy. Due to the proliferation of bats, mosquitos are less a nuisance than almost anywhere else. The small size of the park limits the number of party-ers, and it's very well-run and well-maintained.

Luchie Maude

A peaceful place to camp in. Very nice gravel for putting tents, no wasps at all that's why I felt so relax during our 4 days of camping.

Great camping area on Campbell lake, well kept sites, not a large campground which makes it more enjoyable.

Junya Wu

My favorite campsite so far. Take a look at the picture and you will see why. It have what you want. A clean and well maintain site. Beautiful view. Fishing spot. Quite and friendly Ranger. Only down side is to get to this beautiful place, you have to go on a tough journey. Battle spotty cell reception so consider that when relaying on your GPS but the reward will make it all worth it. I'm kinda glad that is in the middle of nowhere.

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained campsites with plenty of basic amenities and an extremely kind ranger (Kathy, I believe). We lucked into an available waterfront site due to a last-minute cancellation and even got our own private beach access. A+ provincial park - we will definitely be back to spend more time at this gem of a spot!

Ron Beaven

It is beautiful quiet and lovely lovely

Heide Lübkemann

Quiet (after holiday saison) camp ground and very friendly staff!! No showers, dumping possibilities an electricity.

Joel Harder

Great place for camping with a nice beach area by the lake. Nicely spaced outhouses and everything has been recently built or rebuilt and is well. Well maintained

Cole Reid

Beautiful camping on one of the greatest lakes on the island. Just keep in mind very limited dock space that isn't reservable

Vikki Boyd

Absolutely beautiful campground. Kept so clean and the lake view with mountains in the background are stunning.

Roy Crowe

Right on a pristine lake. Nice sunny beach with a dock. Good fishing. Dusty gravel logging road access.

Paul Ives

What a beautiful campground here at Loveland Bay

Jeff Kleinholz

Clean, quiet and sites back right onto the lake.

Pam Johnson

Beautiful spot, well maintained. Only one out of the 5 outhouses I used had hand sanitizer so I'm glad I had my own. A bit noisy with lots of kids. I would stay here again, Beautiful lake and the campsite had a boat launch where you could park the boat and leave it overnight which was great! Follow the instructions to get there given by the campsite.. Google Maps takes you on an hour detour through dirt roads.

We go to Loveland Bay almost every summer and it is by far one of the best provincial park campgrounds you will ever stay at! Pristine sites, impeccably clean area, the bathrooms are the cleanest in all of Canada no lie!! They smell like vanilla and are probably cleaner than most people's home bathrooms!! No spiderwebs or bugs nesting anywhere which for me is an absolute relief!! The hosts, Fran and Rennie, are the friendliest and most accommodating hosts we've come across! Super funny and always helpful and caring! The lake is so clean you can see the bottom 20 feet down. Gorgeous! Our only complaint is the road in is not well maintained and full of washboards that can really damage a vehicle! Would be awesome if they built another wharf as it can get really crowded with lots kids fishing and boats docked! 5 stars for us for Loveland Bay!

Lake is super nice and camp sites are well maintained. 3 fcfs sites are tough to drive too with your fingers crossed, but it all worked out of us. Nice swimming lake. Wasps were bad beginning of August, but that's part of camping I guess .

Nortas12

Amazing place, easy going environment, large camp sites and a lot of privacy. One of the best sites we've been in a long time.

Lisa Joy McCarl

Beautiful little spot!

Ml C

Quite the dirt road in, but sites are almost all view/lakefront

Kevin Kyle

Great improvement throughout the whole site!

James Langridge

Nicely refurbished. Great sites. New outhouses. Great experience.

One of my all time favorite places to ride or hike
