Elk Falls is only 10 minutes out of town and yet feels like it's in the middle of a lush rainforest environment. There's lots of RV parking and the trail is a very easy 10 minute hike to the bridge. Definitely worth stopping for a rest if you're headed up island.

I enjoy the trails at Elk Falls and the suspension bridge. Make sure you check out the park interpretive center. It provides alot of history about the John Hart damm.

Crazy difference in water volume from May to November. Worth it to come at different times during the year, to experience the falls at different volume. Beautiful spot!

Nice location to enjoy lovely view of Elk falls and suspension bridge is another cool experience. Visit also Elk falls down the road, near camping locations, its worth your time. Enjoy

Amazing views, wide easy paths with few stairs. Suspension bridge is absolutely terrifying, but well maintained and solid, no worries there. Definately would recommend again.

About 300 metres from the parking lot, down the trail you'll reach the suspension bridge and it's very bouncy when walking across, but you get a great view of the falls off the sides and below your feet. You can walk a couple hundred metres more and find a better view from below the bridge, almost touching it.

Beautiful! The suspension bridge is fun and a good part of the trails are wheelchair accessible. There's also a lovely Loop along the river, just be ready for a steady climb at the end...Kudos to the Campbell River Rotary and all others involved! An excellent choice for a walk on a hot day, nice and cool in the trees and near the water. Don't miss the old growth trees, they're huge!

A great view with a very short hike these waterfalls are always flowing well and the suspension bridge gives you a great view. It can be busy during tourist season but that's to be expected when you have something this great.

Beautiful free short hike. Look to spend around 1.5 hours here. The waterfall is so pretty and you can get up close. Just be careful don’t get swept away
