Love that they have 2 separate areas for the small dogs and large dogs. Wish they would treat the small dog area as well as they did the large dog area though.

Please do not take your small dogs there. They get jumped by large dogs and owners don't control them. Very sad and disappointing. There is small section for small dogs but it is too small if you want your dog to run around and chase toys.

No dogs here at 230. But it's a great park. Close by and some shade too! I like that theres grass and not just dirt. Theres a porta potty here which is a plus. Dog waste bins. Ashtrays. Garbage (which needs to be emptied more often) but a perfect place to come enjoy nature with the pups.

It's a dog park, they have picnic tables, some bowls or water (don't know how often or who fills them) a big fenced in area and 2 double gated entries so u don't leave accidentally with an extra dog or two. There are a couple waste disposal spot for dog poop and well as a porta-potti for the adults.

Very open air so be wary of visiting while windy. Also muddy after rain. Otherwise airlock style gates, and a dedicated area for young/small dogs. Will continue to visit due to convince, however it could use some form of available water for the dogs.

Honestly, I was expecting much more from it. This "Dog Park" is nothing but a barren land, no grass cut, muddy and piles of soil in the middle. I wish they look into it seriously. Furr babies deserve more than this.

Lots of space for the dogs to run around in and socialize. Never got too crowded while we were there but there was always a few people coming an going. There's a table to sit at and a few trees for some shade, it's pretty open otherwise so watch the weather. My only issue is that there isn't any water source provided (but there are bowls to put water in), so make sure to bring your own.

The city doesn't take care of the place like they should. Grass not cut, mud puddles....only half of the park is ok fir your dog unless you want them a muddy mess

This was a nice fully fenced in dog park. There are two areas, one smaller area with an adjoining gate and it's own separate entrance. The main area is a decent size and completely open. There are two dog waste receptacles as well as several picnic tables. It was early spring when we visited, so lots of mud and snow. It was a nice experience for our dog, a few nice dogs to play with a the people were friendly too.

I’m out as often as possible with my Service Dog. It’s been wonderful off leash socialization and energy burn for her. Today, we had to make an abrupt departure when another dog owner kicked my pup and sent her flying. As a result, I don’t want to go back. I love dogs, but those who abuse them? Suck!

Great park, very clean and great, friendly people/dogs that visit. Only downfall is there is no onsite water. There are a lot of bowls so just bring a big bottle of water for your dog.

Barren, dusty, desolate, far away from everything. The big pile of rocks in the middle seems designed to break a dog's leg so that's weird. But I'm much more particular than my dog. She thinks anywhere with other dogs and no leash is fantastic. Considering it's all we have in Cambridge I guess we should just be thankful the city planners have given us this. I usually go to McLennan park in Kitchener. Their council has decided dogs matter.

Come here when I am in town visiting in-laws. Park is very large and I noticed today they have a separate fenced in part adjacent to the main area. Good if you are working on some training with your dog. Also, they recently upgraded the garbage disposal with this new system that converts it into energy and fertilizer. Well done City of Cambridge!

My boyfriend and I really enjoy taking our 2 dogs to dog park. I know dog parks have gotten a bad rap in the past for dogs fighting and other reasons from vets and dog rescue organizations. These are my tips for a safe visit to the dop park. If yiur dog is addressive stay away! If you have a puppy or a small dog there is a puppy park on the right hand side of the large park that you can use. If your dog is a little shy or unsure use the puppy park to warm them up to the other dogs. Always keep your dog on leash until you get into the first gated area. Make sure the gate latches behind you. The park is older and needs some maintenance the City hasnt allocated funds for. I have seen a kind hearted man adjust these latches so they actually latch and open and close properly. If you are that gentleman thank you very much. ( these are the kind of people that go to the dog park) What i have experienced is most tussels between the dogs happen right at the gate when people come in with a new dog, im not saying this happens all the time. Come in and move away from the gate. Bring water for your dog, ive noticed a lot of people come with a nice ice capp or a bottle of water for themselves and nothing for there dog. There are bowls there, some of them are kinda dirty, the dogs don't seem to mind though. So bring one if you want. Bring poop bags and please pick up your dog poop. We count fence posts or go by some land mark because the dogs dont poop close by. For humans there is a porta potty, ive used it a few times. It's well maintained and clean and theres toilet paper. There are some toys and balls you can use to play with your dog there. You can bring your own, some dogs play nicer with toys and share better so that is something to consider when bringing something from home. You may be playing with more dogs than you expect lol. If you find a toy at the dog park please leave it there for all the dogs to enjoy. Lastly please make sure yoir dog is up to date on vaccinations .if your dog isnt feeling well please consult a vet before bringing them to the dog park. Our dogs just got kennel cough from the dog park they are both are vaccinated against it but they can still catch it to a lesser degree. This will not deter us from going back to the dog park once the dogs get the all clear from the vets. Nothing beats the excercise and enjoyment the dogs get from the dog park, and i like to pet the other dogs. ????
