This is a quiet spot in the busy downtown area. One can sit and actually destress One can also reflect on the veteran who gave their lives to allow us to sit and reflect.

Went for the winter festival. They had candy and games for the kids. Our son lived riding the sled down the ice trail. Also had a free ride on the wagon from St Jacob's pulled by large horses.

Recommended: This park really lives up to its name. It tends to be the centre of the Preston downtown. There is a gazebo with wheelchair access that is utilized for concerts, children's story time, Preston market and other various community events. There are annual events such as Candy Land, the seasonal skating rink, the Easter egg hunt and Remembrance Day. There is a small splash pad which turns on after May 24. Preston market is open every Thursday in the warmer months. This includes a local musician, farm stands (fruits and vegetables), our local bakery (Rising Dough Scottish Bakery), a honey stand, and other stands throughout the season.

For such a small size this park, in the heart if Preston, contributes a lot for it's local citizens. The gazebo is fantastic cover to protect performers during inclement weather. Terrific for small gatherings. The cenitaph also pays respect to our fallen heroes, as does the giant beautifully painted mural posted high above on the neighboring tall building. Great place to shop for local produce, in the open market, during the summer. #celebrity_bucks

As a Veteran it makes me proud to see the amazing artwork by a local artist giving hommage to my fallen brothers and sisters in arms. And appropriately right there next to the Cenotaph.

Nice to sit and have a coffee with a friend. Not so great to bring kids. Not much for them to do.

Its a public space to hang out. This shouldn't even be on here. There is no "experience" to be had but what you make of it.

Beautiful experience here for the November 11th memorial service. They fired the cannon and muskets a couple times which was something new I experienced here and found it quite impressive.

You can always find discarded beer cans in this park in the garbage and you find a lot of people grabbing them but there's very few cigarette butts because the people in the city and they're in the surrounding area gives a very clean so it's very nice to go there and just sit and enjoy the nature and the trees and Jade by don't go there on Thursday because it's too expensive at the Farmers Market

Randy Patterson

Well kept little place to have a drink and a chit chat.
