We went to Bechtel for the off leash dog park. It's quite large and a good open space for dogs to roam and stay relatively in sight. Only issue would be the hill down to the entrance and the path in the park gets very icy. It's not overwhelmingly icy or steep but could pose an issue if you have limited mobility.

Nice park for walking/running/dog park. Indoor soccer field is meh. Facilities are old and very lacking in everyway. Good ball diamonds and okay outdoor soccer fields for children. The city needs to make this a better space for organized sports.

Bechtel Park is a small park in Hespeler, on Franklin Blvd. There are swings, a slide, some horses on large springs, and a spinning piece of equipment. No washroom, no splash pad. But great for younger kids.

I love this park. It has good hiking trails, and a decent dog park. However they removed a bunch of play ground equipment a year or so ago and haven't replaced it... so not great for young kids anymore.

Great place for a walk, a nice wooden area which would feel somewhat remote if it wasn't for the highway noise in the background. Most people go to really their dogs, or to do cross country ski in the winter.

This is a big open park and the sandbox is fun, but the play equipment is quite limited and old. It's close to Franklin Boulevard, and having a bit of a fence could help parents feel a bit safer taking kids here. The shelter is super strange too, small, and with benches facing each other that are so high off the ground that an adult has difficulty getting on and their legs hang. I hope one day this park gets a makeover.

A lovely place to be at within the company of nature. I truly enjoy walking through the trails and this forest. The marsh is the best place to see while the redwing black birds are nesting and the Blue King Fisher is super shy you just may be in luck to get a glimpse of him ✌️

Had a wonderful experience, had a few questions about the programs run at the facility and was greeted and assisted by such friendly staff in the bookings office.

Do not take your small or medium size dog over there because the park is dominated by large dogs which are not supervised by their owners. I was told by a woman who was having a garage sale close to the park but she never takes her two dogs there because two dogs were recently killed over there. Also the park is covered in stick burs which are difficult to extract from your dogs paws.

Has everything you need ... a field, washrooms, and places for parents or others to sit and watch. My son is currently going here to play some flag football. There is also a vending machine with drinks in case someone forgets theirs or runs out which is nice.

Nice little park. There is a fenced in dog park, as well as a children's playground. The trails themselves are not that long, but the walk beside the river is curvy and goes over and under logs and trees. Nice place in town to get away to when you need a break.
