I know they want it to stay natural but so many of the trees are distressed. Maybe they could try to cultivate more natural species there. Have a university organization study it. Consult with aboriginal groups for authenticity
Amazing vast expanse of dog park so close to the inner city. Come at 9 am or 3:30pm any day to catch the regulars and the busier time here to give your doggo a real good run for your time. Park also has a great view of downtown through a loop that walks around the plateau. The park isn’t fully fenced but the ridge of the hill seems to form a sort of barrier.
Beautiful spot
Best sunsets ????
It was beautiful
Beautiful view of downtown
It’s a really nice area and provides great views of the Calgary skyline downtown. There are a lot of benches to relax and there’s a lot of street parking around. It is an off leash dog park and not all people watch their dogs so for some people, like me, it’s not as relaxing but if people watch their dogs then it’s a nice park!
Beautiful place nice break from the concrete jungle
I wish there was water still. It was originally plumbed, I can see the cut off pipes. Would be a perfect 5 if it had a pond for dogs to play in. I get it...public park...cost... maintenance... But it was historically zoned for livestock. Maybe a water fountain. But something for animals and people to acquire water.
Would be much better if it wasn't off-leash park for dogs. But the view is still worth it - full panoramic view of downtown.
A nice greenspace tucked into the southeast corner of Bridgeland. Has great views of the city, and is great for pooches. Feels like you're pulling yourself up and out of the hustle for a break.
Easy access from the north and it gives you great views of sunsets over downtown. It's great for walking your dog. The only issue I found was that some people didn't clean up after their dog in a few areas.
Beautiful views!!
Great view of down town. Lots of space for your dogs to run around off leash. Small parking lot as well as plenty of street parking near by.
Great place for a walk
The best sunsets in Calgary. Hands down.
This is a great place to bring your dog. Enjoy some great views of the city. And grab the 3 pokemon go stops and poke gym that are located here.
A wonderful off leash park with interesting educational component a beautiful views of the city.
Amazing views and we'll maintained
Awesome offleash dogpark Views are fantastic! Hard first time getting up there through residential area (maybe better signage would help)
A great spot to see Calgary skyline.
It's a great place for a photoshoot
Beauitful view and walking area is decent also pet friendly
Still remember as a kid the llamas and buffalo use to live up there when it was part of the zoo
We biked through on our way back from newly opened Sunny Cider in NE of Calgary. Lovely bike ride, mostly downhill. The view of the city is one of the best, highly recommend.
Great park to watch Canada Day fireworks, it is close enough to see the fireworks but far enough away to escape all the traffic
The best kept park secret in Calgary! Off leash for pooches.
Great place to hike and see beautiful skyline view of Calgary!
One of the best parks in the Inner City. Big and lots of friendly dogs&owners! Never had a bad experience here.
Tom Campbell off leash park is wonderful. Good for strollers. This park is not fenced in. It's not that larger and I tend to do a few loops around within the 45min I'm there. Paths are flat unless you decide that go down any of the hills . Great view for the fireworks and of downtown. This park is super windy! Always. Great on hot days but bring an extra layer otherwise. The parking lot is small but you can normally find street parking. Several benches and rocks to sit on. Park has several garbage bins along the west side only. Its in bridgeland but your on the corner of memorial and deerfoot and across for the zoo. Dogs are pretty friendly and no wildlife to deal with.
Nice place for a walk or to catch a sunset above Calgary skyline
Walk the pup here often! He loves it :)
Our favourite off leash dog park! It has a beautiful panoramic view of the city that can be enjoyed during the sunrise, midday, or at sunset. All of the dog and owners we’ve encountered have been wonderful and friendly. Definitely Maples favourite hang out spot to see her furry friends!
Good for a walk. Loop pathway gravel. Nice view of downtown.
Great people enjoying their dogs, beautiful views, my favorite dog park!
Awesome place to walk and enjoy sunset.
Best view in any park in Calgary. Plenty of room to walk a dog or put out a blanket and watch the sun set behind downtown.
Beautiful view of the city, fair space for doggies
Nice view of Downtown Calgary
Very nice park. Lots of wild flowers on the hillside and a fantastic view of the Calgary skyline.
Great bike trail thru the area
Great place to find wildflowers
One of our favorite spots to take our dogs off leash. Great views of the mountains and the skyline.
Great off leash park not for dogs that have no solid recall as it is not fenced in.Otherwise its a nice little walk around maybe 30 minutes around at a casual pace.
Proposed here and she said yes!
We love coming to this park for the paved pathway thru the trees, with a gravel path to follow. It is a treat to meet other dogs and their owners.
It's a nice place to go for a stroll and see most of the city.
Favourite dog park in Calgary... stop first at Luke's for a coffee, bridgeland market for a peanut butter chocolate bar and then hit the park.
Beautiful rugged terrain great view of Calgary and fireworks
I feel city lessened the value and beauty of tom Campbell's hats over the years.i used to climb around there when it was natural.
Great place to feel away from the city while in the city. After a nice walk taking in views of the rockies and city, head down for coffee, beer, pizza or ice cream on 1st ave
Dog park, but great city views.
Excellent dog park . Great view of the city for sunrise and sunset.
Wonderful park. Great place for dog walking.
I have to say our city is amazing still on a cold day but a little shady and police should look into the kids parking lot right beside the corner by tells spark centre ... really shady characters around that area looking for adult fun and drugs ...
A place where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery with your dog.
Beautiful spot and a great off leash area
So lucky to have this park in the neighbourhood. It’s the best second to Sue Higgins! Only thing is there’s no garbage receptacles on one side of the park for when your dog goes #2.
Gorgeous view, not 2 busy and wonderful people and dogs❤
Wonderful place
Great place to run your dog off leash! Friendly, non aggressive dogs and great owners
Great place to walk your dog off leash and a great view of the downtown core. Fireworks aswell
I lived in Forest Lawn for five years, and never knew this park was here. While searching around recently for some of the best views in Calgary for some content, i discovered this park! The reviews did not lie. Definitely in the top three for views of the downtown skyline that i have seen!
Beautiful cityscape views but very busy on warm days.
Lots of big dogs great for to have a place to run
So beautiful here! I hope this park will always remain a park. No private developments here please. This is a place for all of us to enjoy the beautiful view of downtown Calgary with the company of loved ones.
Great place for taking pictures of downtown and sunsets.
Good, clean park for dogs.
Beautiful views in this off leash dog park!
Best dog park in the city
One of the nicer places for a quick walk and play with the dog. Nice people and well behaved dogs. Nice view of downtown also.
Best dog park with fantastic views. And apparently lots of fun after hours XD
Beautiful evening views.
Our favourite park to walk around and see views of the city in a natural grassland setting! The only thing is that since it's so close to Memorial Drive and Deerfoot, it can be loud at times.
Great views of the city. Just be sure you know it's a dog park and don't have your lunch there unless you are willing to share with the fur friends.
Beautiful and little known park, great view of the Calgary skyline compared to Nose Hill
This is a great look out over the city. We were there to see the Stampede fireworks.
A great off-leash park with a variety of terrain
Great hike from Mission!
Beautiful view of the city
Love this park as an off leash area, relatively quiet and clean, good access and great views!
Wicked place for some great pictures!
Great place to meet multiple dogs and their owners. Enjoy how open it is. Beautiful city views from the information circle.
This one of our go to off leash dog parks. Nice for the dogs and nice for the humans.
Nice place to stop and enjoy the city skyline
This park is absolutely wonderful. Every time I go to hike there I feel great the rest of the day, it clears my mind and just puts me in a peaceful place.
Fantastic views of the downtown core and a great place to walk Anne take in the views
Love this place for walking my dogs
Love taking my pup to this park. Great views of the city! Beware when the wind blows... No where to hide.
nice place to go for a walk with your dog, but I was there for work
Beautiful Park, great views West toward the mountains and downtown... but be aware that this is a dog park. The place was over run!
Great off leash dog park. Lots of paths to explore. WARNING: BEWARE OF COYOTES! There is a parking lot at the top.
Cute happy wagging tails everywhere and a great city view.
It’s a nice park to go for a walk and get a beautiful view of downtown. It’s also an off-leash area to bring your dog for a walk. The park is not very big and finding a parking spot can get a bit challenging sometimes. There’s a tiny parking lot but mostly people park on the street.
It's a beautiful park, some dog owners should not own dogs though and really take away from the experience with their screeching. If your dog isnt trained and runs away maybe you shouldn't take your dog to an off leash park. Also pick up your dogs sh!t
Great views of the skyline.
Peaceful with a great veiw
Cool place to walk with your dog and enjoy the view.
Great view of the city, calm, mini Nose Hill vibes.
Windy tonight
Easy place for walking and biking
Pet friendly place where you can unleash dogs Nice view of the city
Great off leash dog park with beautiful city and mountain views. Lots of room for your four footed friend to romp around and still visit with other dogs. Due to its proximity to the river valley and number rabbits in the neighborhood it is also a draw for coyotes.
Nice park...awesome view of downtown, the mountains and south of the city.
Nice place to hang out and good for photographers and yes dog lovers
A proper hill, heaps dogs & friendly people.
The treck up the hill helps me gage exactly how out of shape I really am... but once you get to the top and walk around, you just gotta love the view! I love meeting all the dogs, there are a ton on a good day and it will be very pretty when the grass turns green. Only negative are lazy dog owners that don't clean up their mess. I guess they thought the snow would somehow dissolve the poop when it melted. Be careful where you step for awhile ????
It is a nice park.
Mostly a dog park! But watch for crocuses in the spring on the slopes!
Nice view of the city and huge grassy area to walk the dog
Nice off leash park with a city view
Nice view of the city
Great view of Stampede fireworks, off-leash dog park too boot
One of my most favorite places in Calgary so far. From the West side of the hill you have a perfect view of downtown Calgary and the mountains. Absolutely unreal place to watch the sunset. Also there was lots of dogs, which I've never not appreciate! ????
Great place to catch a sunset!
Great dog park...lots of room to roam...easy parking...relaxing walk...great view of the mountains...Enjoy!!!!
Nice view of zoo & downtown area Nice dedication to area nature
Nice Viewpoint
Nice place to visit
Great off leash dog walking in inner city!
Full of dog walkers who dont pick up after their animals. Animals.
Great dog park, but I wish they had more garbage containers around the park.
Nice view of downtown. Dog park. Access into bridgeland and could walk down to St Patrick's Island. Went just before sunset pretty busy with people walking dogs. Also good spot from the north east to watch stampede fire works. Not a spend the day kind of park, but a nice walk.
a nice dog park with some history behind. very common to see multiple dogs so if you are not friendly with dogs avoid this park. has a great view of the city skyline but parking may be a little but difficult. If you afe looking for parking it is $10 for the calgary zoo parking or $5 for telus spark centre or the parks actual parkinglot which is free bur very very small. to get to the top of the hill closest parking will be zoo parking and furthest will be the park's parking lot.
to moviebuff whatever. dogs ruin your day? ....really? go home then, don't go to an off leash park. if a dog ruins your day? you must be a crappy human.
it was getn very chilly but we will B BK! its beautiful was very slushy also lol nx time..
Absolutely unique view specially for night
Beautiful park with breathtaking views. I recommend this park to anyone, great trails with an amazing vibe
Small slice of nature in a busy busy city. Awesome views of the city and a great place to run the dog!
Good views but can be windy up there.
One of the best views of Calgary
Great Calgary downtown view.
It's a beautiful park. Nice to walk your dogs in.
Great place to see stampede fireworks. Not too crowded.
Love this place. Good space for my dog to fun around and nice walk path for humans.
Gorgeous view and so many friendly pups and people
Lovely place to picnic or bring a doggo
Nice view and great offleash dog park.
Decent little dog park but theres no water feature for them. So on hot days id rather go somewhere else.
Good park, good dogs, always clean, and great view of the sunset.
Enjoy everything thats outdoor
The park being on top of a hill is a saving grace for moisture. When all the other parks are a sloppy mess this one is always dry. Only downfall is I do find more dog poop is left behind compared to the other dog parks.
Great view of the city but it's rather small and high traffic park
Great park for after work
Beautiful park with a nice view for a dog walk
Beautiful views, nice people, good dogs and never busy
We went there for the July 1st, 2021 Canada day fire work. The firework was amazing and beautiful. There were not that many people, it was not crowded at all. We throughly enjoyed the fire work. Compare to the regular downtown one, it was definitely less crowded, enough space to park. If they do it here the next year, I would be definitely coming back. This was my first time at this park and it looked amazing at night. I would love to come back at day time to enjoy the view.
Happy dogs on a windy day! Views are spectacular!
Dog toilet with a nice view
Great off leash dog park. I found this park very clean, nice pathway and trees for shade.
Trees block the way for night view
Good dog park bit very windy
Perfect dog walking park. Excellent views of downtown.
Great for walking dogs, has trees and grasslands, my dog's favorite park, nice view of city
My girlfriend and I call this place something else. It's not polite though. Something to do with how a lot of dog owners don't pick up after their pets. As long as you stay on the path it's safe. Nice view of downtown, especially at sunset time.
Haven't been there for years, the view of the Downtown and Bow river is still as amazing as I remember. If you want a great view to take some pictures this is a great stop.
Nice view of the city here. Encountered a lot of cool curious doggos and their owners.
Amazing place to take your dog and have a picnic it's an off-leash Park so lots of furry friends and the view of the city is absolutely amazing
Love coming here with my pupper
This is our border collie's favourite park! He just loves running around and meeting up with his pup pals here!
It was a fine park. Beautiful view of the city what's there to complain about?
Beautiful view of the city lots of open space to run around or follow the paths for a nice walk!
Great place for my four puppers. Little wet at the moment.
Great dog park. Nice view of the city. Always has other dogs. Lots of open space. It's our go to dog park.
Wide open spaces and brilliant views of the Calgary skyline and Rocky Mountains. There are bins, benches, a small parking lot and street access.I prefer this park as it is a much quieter location than Scotsman's Hill, Crescent Heights or other popular viewpoints around the city.
Loved the view and went back there as my relaxing spot
Great off leash dog park. Trails to walk while the dogs play.
Fair size, nice view, pretty clean.
Amazing dog park. Very friendly dogs and owners. Beautiful view of the city.
