A little partial block of greenspace in the middle of downtown. It's nice, and not as far to walk as the riverfront or Prince's Island when you're on your lunch break.

Often overlooked, this lovely little park is surrounded by some of Calgary's tallest buildings and is a stone's throw from Chinatown. A nice quiet place to relax.

This little park gives people a nice reprieve from the urban jungle surrounding it. While there are nice benches and a grass lawn, the constant klaxon from the adjacent parking garage’s alerter makes sitting there for more than 5 minutes almost unbearable. I’m not sure I would choose such a spot to relax again if I was in the same area.

It's a Memorial park for a homeless man who died that was meant to be a safe sleeping place for the city's less fortunate it is open 24 hours with security that doe hourly checks

Heated underground parking. Only $3 for the evenings. I must mention about the great customer service! I was overcharged as I hit the max time twice while paying for parking. I called them and sent them an email as per their suggestion. They refunded my money within 3 days.

Great underground heated parkade, so nice to park out if the weather, especially on cold winter days. Easy to enter facility from 5 Avenue (eastbound) and may exit onto either 4th Avenue (westbound) or 5th Avenue. Available parking stalls are easy to find because they're indicated by overhead light: green = empty, red = occupied. On foot you can access levels of parkade via elevators or stairs.

Haven't had the parkade experience as I utilize public transport within city limits 90% of the time. But it is a good park at ground level. More of a semi green urban space. But a place for a decent pit stop when weather permits.

The city has been busy hub for homeless individual's. Hands short park was dedicated to a couple of chronically /mentally ill and homeless and for 20 some years since the last sale of the green area there it was dedicated to be a safe place to sleep through the night where police wouldn't bother u for sleeping or being in a public park after midnight. The idea that it was made safe by a city councilman or MLA (I'm unsure of the actually facts) but that an area of the city gets tagged for allowing leniency on the street. Came from a government official because that is something he fealt strongly about and hit close to home. So I can't wait for the day that I area true RAGS TO RICHES human being be votes I to a position that he can stick up for the most volnerable people that have no voices again.

This park has a fabulous green space and a small gated playground in the northwest corner of the park that many don't even know is there. Around 9:30 - 11:30 it is often busy with daycares and school groups. Any other time you go the park is not very busy. The Suncore and Bow towers offer a lot of shade so even on a hot day this park is a cool spot to play!
