Great little community park! Has an out building, playground, large grass area, and field that my son's soccer team practices on. The field also has large lights for night practice.

Great playground areas for kids of all ages. There is a big basketball court, a diamond court for baseball and even soccer can be played there. The play equipment for small kids is also fun to enjoy.

Bigger and better than I thought! I always wrote off this park and I don't know why. I always drove by it and there's tons of space but I always opted to go to confederation Park or willingdon Park. Those parks seem more jazzier than wesburn. Now I think differently. We came for the wading pool and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. (At least for the first hour... then more people came to the park and then the summer camps were there) The lovely Burnaby parks attendant was very friendly and she worked very hard to make sure all the benches and gates were sanitized. She closed the pool every hour so she was able to maintain the cleanliness and the chemicals in the pool. She was also very good at crowd control because of c o v i d - 19, the pools were only allowed a maximum of 12 people. She was able to talk to the park patrons around to let them know that they can go in after a crowd comes out. It's a great place when you have little kids to just cool down for the day. There's lots of big trees so there's lots of shade. The pool is very cold though, so be mindful of that when you get there right at opening. There is a lovely playground and a creek area that is well hidden behind a whole bunch of trees. There's a basketball court and soccer field / baseball diamond. This is our new favorite go to park.

Summer program for the wading pool is a nice free way for the kids to cool off and play. Tree shade is nearby. When they clean out the pool or add chlorine, the playground is not too far to keep the fun going. There's a small parking lot and neighbourhood street parking available.

It has a nice view to the mountains on the north, due to its higher ground and lack of skyline nearby, espectacular green, short grass, ideal for picnics or just laying a mantle and enjoy the view.

Always a wonderful time at the park, generally clean and safe, with well maintained playground equipment, beautiful nature - the creek, the grass field and the trees. Perfect for a picnic or some tranquil outdoor time with family and friends. The sports field does get busy but it adds life and vibrancy to the park. Lots of shades for the hot sunny days. In the summertime, the wading pool is simply the best & the pool leader Maddie is also our children's favorite person ???? I have reported damaged playground structure to the city twice and both times they have responded and repaired / replaced immediately. We appreciate the care they put into this fabulous space which we enjoy so much as a family. Many thanks.
