Lots of free street parking, benches, a grassy area for picnic, quiet and spectacular views.

Amazing views. However as the sun sets, be prepared for noise pollution from large rowdy groups and revving cars that ruin the peace. It's also a small area and gets crowded easily. Best to head elsewhere if you need peace, quiet, and personal space with your views.

The best spot in Burnaby to watch sunset! But we had to leave not long after as several people were smoking cigarettes or pot. It's really a small area (in contrary to English Bay) and the smoke and smell were way too close and strong. We don't like it. Also they were smoking less than 10m away from the residence, not sure that's legal. Wish the city ban smoking in this park.

Great place to go to watch the sunset, or just to come late at night. Amazing view of the city. It is in a neighbourhood, so please be respectful to the people living around the area. Also limited parking space.

If you wanted to experience sunset viewing, I would suggest park your vehicle far away from the residential street parking because you could hardly have a hard time looking for a parking spot close to the reservoir park, otherwise you may wish to visit the park during off peak hours, probably during twilight.

Its a very nice area, but as another review mentioned after sunset it gets noisy and crowded. I went around 11pm to eat my dessert and look over the city, but there were many groups playing music and talking very loud. I'm surprised the residents didn't call the police. Overall, beautiful be place to see the city but be aware that it gets quite noisy at night time.

Beautiful view of Burnaby suburbs, Vancouver harbour, and a glimpse of downtown Vancouver all in one. The sunset view is amazing but make sure to bring sunglassses cause you’re looking directly west. The park is essentially one big steep hill. So nothing for kids to play on. There’s a few benches, but you could also sit on the road blockers or on the grass at the top of the hill. It’s not a big place so spots are limited. Locals love to come here and consider it a “hidden gem”. Though around sunset to night it starts to become very busy and crowded. Usually teens and young adults like to come here to drink and blast music.

Great neighbourhood spot. Just HOPE that folks who visit the park by vehicle would respect the neighbouring houses. High speed, garbage and loud vehicle exhausts are elements frequently abused when visiting the area. Respect the folks who make the area their home.
