You will see the feddbacks of people who are buying the products and services of Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park (Park) near to the territory of Burnaby (Canada).
Now the firm has a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is practically the top, and it is based on a high number of opinions, so we can say that the evaluation is very accurate. If many people have bothered to value when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Park corresponds to the category of Park.
Fraser river view. Trail along the river. Picnic area.
Frozen Fraser River.
Great park. Play area .pic nic tables.. bathrooms.. an exercise course..you can walk right alongside the drawer river. Even a few geocaches in the area
1) Located in south Burnaby beside Fraser river 2) Include walking trail, picnic area, public washrooms 3) Enjoy during summer
Relax by the river...bring the BBQ. Take a stroll and grab some exercise along the way at the provided exercise equipment. Unwind and enjoy the serenity.
Glimpses of the Fraser River between the trees and bushes of the wild shoreline.
Great Park. Off leash area usually have a couple of dogs. Enjoyable walk by the river.
My beloved place for every day walking, year around, using the paths along Fraser River direction from the Byrne Rd to Boundry Rd and along the ravine Keep the trails as natural as passable this is most beautiful district of Burnaby South
Nicce park with picnic facilities but there is some molasses-like smell due to some industries around it
Parks very pretty with a nice long river side walk
Alot of the fitness equipment is broken or in bad shape.
Just love this place. Picnic tables, by the river, play area, washrooms and long concrete path.
Calm and beautiful
The view in the night is good
Great sheltered picnic table area . Only thing bad was I found was there are people who walk their big dogs and they kept coming to the tables when there is a sign saying no dogs allowed in picnic area.
Nice trails. Dog park
Cool place with fitness activities
Great for walks along the Fraser River
A nice park and trail along the Fraser River. Has a huge dog off leash area! The trail headed west from here is under construction and there is no clear detour. You can detour along the road, but it is a LONG detour through an industrial park zone. Hardly scenic.
Incredibly Beautiful!! Great little place for a romantic walk!!♥️
Excellent linear parkway for walking, jogging, bike riding. Level grade with great Fraser river views all along this working waterway. Worth a visit .
Nice place to take you dog, off leash area, easy access
We go here often during summer. Picnic and evening stroll.
A little muddy today but nice stroll
A very pleasant park with a great view of the Fraser River. There's plenty of parking, and a great place to go for walks, especially if you have a ????.
I love this park along the river, with lots of trees, especially during the week when it is less crowded.
There are so many options at this park. From the walking paths along the water to the green spaces and playground there is something at this park for any level of activity.
I love this park, especially after city of Burnaby has updated it a little bit with gym equipment all over the park
Wonderful walking trail. Great for dogs and kids alike... Wish there were more public washrooms.
Nice, quite and safe.
This riverside park has a big rope climber for older kids and a pirate themed slide area for smaller kids. Beautiful trail with lots of space .
Great place for dogs and kids
I work close to here and we frequently run through this area during our lunch break. There are lots of picnic benches and a few sheltered benches as well, which makes this a great place to hold a picnic or a lunch. We've organized a few after work events here with great success. There's enough room to play soccer, throw the frisbee, and there's even a sand area for beach volleyball, though you need to bring your own net. The paths see a lot of use during the day when the weather is fine. Lots of people out for a walk during their lunch break, walking their dogs, etc.
Great for biking along.
Good beach nets!!
Nice water front park.
This is my favorite park i visit this park since 2012 and still one of my favorite ❤
Great place to run or bike. They also have bbq facilities at different spots and I look forward to that. ????
Beautiful afternoon...
Great park with plenty of trails, lots of bathrooms and water fountains. Easily walk along the river for quite awhile. Great views, you can sit and watch the tug boats work. Would be perfect for running especially if you work nearby. Great spot to have a picnic as there is plenty of tables and shaded picnic areas. Playground for the kids and several workout stations along the path. Very well maintained and clean!
It's a very peaceful place to go and great for taking nature photos. On Saturday I managed a few shots of a Bald Eagle in flight and a Blue Heron catching a large fish. I can hardly wait for the weather to warm up! Really like going there!
nice park with swings and view of the river. run loop and bathrooms. even workout stuff
Nice walking trail alongside water
Nice little path to walk through with fitness equipments along the way. There's also a playground for the kids. It is out of the way of any residence that I can see so you definitely have to drive to the location.
Lovely park and a good place for a picnic, walking or doing some light exercise plus a beautiful view of Fraser River. Parking was easy to find. ????
We love going here for some peace and quiet and family picnics and barbecues. We spend the entire day here just eating and relaxing by the river. There's lots of street parking, too.
This is a nice place to take a walk along the rivers edge, or play at the playground with your little people
Nice place for a walk.
Awesome place for picnics. Not too crowded.
Always enjoy an afternoon or evening walk in this park. Nice for sunset viewing
Nice place to ride a bike or walk along the river
Great park for biking, running or a picnic with the family. Many tables with roof coverings. Great sunsets.
Decent sized park and trail. The picnic area has seating but needs to be reserved . Most of the sections are closed of now in 2020 due to the pandemic restrictions in place. Would have been great if 1 or 2 vendors were allowed to sell water and snacks near the parking area. The trail is parallel to the Fraser river and has multiple vantage points
Nice place for a stroll
Long trail along the river, but currently it is partially closed due to construction. There is a big open area with many picnic tables in the tree shade. Also several picnic shelters, washroom, benches and small playground.
Beautiful
Nice place for bbq..
Very popular for family picinics
Nice park and beach
Nice place for kids to bike or scooter.
BBQ trails view kids play
There is a nice walk alongside the Frasier river, there are some picnic tables, you can play volleyball on the sand. Also alongside the path there are a few exercises machines.
This place is a good place for a walk by the Fraser River when in Burnaby, BC.
Great place, love the stroll along the river, also not so far from shopping.
Longitudinal park that provides varied scenery along the Fraser River. Nice prepared walkways that are accessible for walking, bikes, strollers, and wheel chairs. Dedicated areas for a picnick and barbecuing. Being your camera for nature photography, or binoculars for birding. If you walk to the west, you'll eventually hit the yet-to-be-completed River District community.
One of my favorite places for a walk
Very nice park for a nice walk. Has a kids park for all ages
Beautiful spot! It's where my partner agreed to be my boyfriend. Always great memories.
Lovely nature spot to see scenery, walking, people watching, dogs, busy during summer, quiet off times. Great place to unplug.
There's a lot you can do, hike, bike, exercise (outside gym), picnic, has playground etc. Just not suitable for swimming.
Great place to go for a walk and a think.
Located on the Fraser river in Burnaby, the park offers a nice exercise circuit along a walking path along the river edge. Kids playground and picnic area make it a good spot for families. Lots of fishing spots if you like to fish.
Lovely to walk or run or cycle along the Fraser River... Tug boats are sometimes spotted
Brilliant outdoor gym equipment. Not a great place for running though.
Small park by the river with some play structures and a walking trail.
Good views even though the park is dirty in contrast to some other one nearby
An easy paved trail for casual hiking along Fraser River with some river views like boats dragging logs passing by, or a flying heron landing right in front of you. It’s just 5 minute’s drive to Riverway Golf Club where you can enjoy a fantastic and reasonably priced 3 course set dinner with 3oz lobster and 6oz New York steak after a nice later afternoon walk in the park.
It's a nice place, but I think there's no BBQ
This park is perfect for walking, cycling, fishing and photography. Good for dogs walking. There are also many instruments for exercising the body.
A good walk along the Fraser River
Nature park with a children's playground
Great place for afternoon walks.
Great place to go for walks
Nice walk along the river.
Nice, shaded walk along the river. Good for walking the dog too.
Let's take a break and come out here
It's my go to place to sit by the river, go for walks. I also feel rejuvenated!
One of our favourite parks! We love to get some breakfast or dinner and make our way here in the summer time.
Great place for an afternoon stroll.
Love this kids play ground
A serene and peaceful park by the riverfront, I couldn’t get much time to explore this park but it is on amazing location.
Beautiful place to picnic, take a walk, bike, or bring your dog off leash,
Nice level walking trail with occasional river views
It's a park!! That's all I need to like it.????
A great park, with nice views and lots of places to enjoy a picnic -- but it's small, and always crowded in the summer. Come early or at off times for the best experience.
Nice place to spend time in nature.
Great for waking dog.
Lovely park for evening walks
This is a beautiful park, with trails for walking or cycling, picnic areas and exercise stations. It is all very well maintained, with beautiful views and peaceful walks. On busy days, parking can be a little tight but is generally good. Highly recommend!
Good playground picnic area and nice view of river
A pretty thin but long park right be the Fraser river. No swimming, and I wouldn't recommend swimming in this water. Trees line up right against the water so a lot of shade. A small play area with climbing ropes. The nicest part is the flatness and walking path great for a stroll. Also, there are much less people here than central park as it is in a more commercial area.
It's really a great park. I really enjoy the river walk on summer mornings. There are a lot of cotton trees, so if you are allergic you'd better take an antihistamine.
Nice clean park. Relatively flat trails along the Fraser river within the city limits south of Burnaby. Ample Picnic ground with tables and benches. Has bike trails and children playgrounds.
Beautiful place to walk with family and friends. Also very dog friendly
Nice walk
Very nice for a walk or a picknik with family/friends.
More of a walk than a park, although a section does have picnic areas.
Beautiful place!
Great place to walk the dog.
Beautiful, well maintained park with a walk that features gorgeous views of the Fraser River. Plenty of amenities including a fitness circuit that features permanently installed outdoor workout equipment, an off-leash dog area, plenty of picnic areas, and washroom facilities. HIGHLY recommended!
Nice picnic area, clean and well maintained. Good washrooms and even some.nice wxercise equipment with a view to the river. Great for wheelchairs as haadd a paves walkway and path.
A beautiful park right on Fraser river's shore, with gorgeous summer sunsets, and well-maintained facilities within reach. What more are you looking for?
Nice trail for walking.
Nice little park by the river I go to after work for a little walk, nice views
Good for a short stroll. Good off leash dog area. Some of the trails are currently closed off as the river is high and the trails look soupy. Easy parking amd nice river views.
Great park! Playground with various unique structures. Trails are bike & dog friendly and connects all the way to River District.
Cool breezes off the Fraser River and lots of shady trees to combat the heatwave this summer of 2018.
Great for a walk along the river. Dog park and picnic tables
Peaceful, relaxing place to be at.
On the bank of Fraser River, easy walking. Dedicated picnic/barbecue area. Great for dogs as well.
Beautiful and quiet, great for dogs as well
Not hot not cold, full of sunshine, wild birds around what not to five stars?
Paved walking trail right next to the Fraser River which is spectacular especially when the river is high. Dog friendly.
A great place to feel like your not in the middle of a huge metropolis . It can get busy with large groups in the reservable covered picnic areas . It can be void of others even on a nice day ..
Seems like an alright park but the grass is all brown
Great place to observe a lot of birds.
More expired foods there,
Always peaceful not overly crowed and sunsets are spectacular
A perfect place for runners.
Washroom closes earlier but it's a gud park
Great easy walk that is wheel chair accessible. Walk a little or a whole lot along the Fraser River. All sorts of birds and wildlife to be seen.
Wonderful spot for a nice sunset!
Very dusty when hot and sunny. I'd like to see more kids playground in this area
a very good place to BBQ by the river, take a walk, or bike along the trail; or in the business park after 6pm when the huge area is almost empty and is safe for casual cyclists. the park had been renovated and upgraded with kids playground and new and simple outdoor workout equipment.
Perfect park for short walks, enjoy some nature, and breathe in some fresh air!! It's located by the water... And it has a big field to play ball games, frisbee.. or even for dogs to catch balls!! Also, there's a few picnic tables if you want to have picnic. I love this place because is small, cozy, short trails, perfect for small gathering.
There is a long trail along river bank, BBQ tables available along the river too
Used to be a beautiful park. Now the me-firsts have taken over, it's fading fast.
Good view in summer
Very good park. Good for family outings. My kids bicycle here a lot. They enjoy the new fitness circuit too. But it can get very windy. So be prepared.
Great for picnicking, but no dogs allowed to the picnic areas. Dog off-leash area is nice but small.
A good place for a dog to run around.
One of the best dog walks in the city
Nice walk. Great views, family and pet friendly
Always beautiful and relaxing.
Great park with plenty of space. I like to go fishing here, but have never caught anything. Nothing better to clear your mind than trying, for several hours, to think like a fish, unsuccessfully.
Beautiful Frazer river view. You can touch waters very friendly people around.
Good walking trail, outdoor fitness spread out, and nice 4+km loop trail for kids to ride bikes. Good blackberries too!
Secret unsung park area that is secluded and not overrun with people. There are nice picnic benches by the river that provide a peaceful tranquil setting when you need to amp down the noise and just feel the breeze off the waters.
Long pathways, mature trees and picnic areas. There is ample parking and views of the river. This is a great place to walk, jog or enjoy a sunset.
A nice place to bring the whole family
Loved this park. Can understand why so many groups were having picnics. Plenty of shade or sun whatever your choice. There's something for eveyone (trails, greenspace, fitness circuit, playground, dog off leash, volleyball.) Will be back!
Lovely place for a stroller. Only a little crowded and people were social distancing.
So nice eating dinner by the river :)
Very nice day by the river. This one lady was playing an instrument and the vibe was just right
Nice place. Good for walk.
Magical!!
Dog off leash area, kids park and a nice 2km flat trail following the river, perfect for the whole family!
A beautiful park with scenic river views.
Great place for families, dogs etc. Beautiful place to walk.
Best Place to hangout with your friends and family.. go for a picnic, barbecue. Plenty of tables and space to play around would suggest to keep the bug spray handy though :)
Very nice, dog-friendly park with trails right along the Fraser River.
Good Place
To many dog parks. Construction has left trails closed.
Beautiful on a sunny day
Lovely walk also great for children.
Calm and quiet. Well maintained.
It's a nice park, has something for everyone just about. Wasn't super busy on the Sunday, which is nice with COVID restrictions to deal with.
Stay away filming going on, not walking friendly
A lovely riverside park with lots of benches, tables, and green space. There’s a fitness circuit with chin up bars and assorted work out equipment. You’ll find gorgeous, classic trees, numerous covered picnic tables and an off leash area for dogs. A fun playground for toddlers and a climbing structure for older kids. Washrooms and plenty of parking, too. Great park!
Beautiful river walk along the Fraser with a dog park nearby
Great place to commune with the great outdoors. The Fraser river, the trails, the marine activities, the picnic and playground area all outstanding
A great little oasis buried in the industrial area. Gorgeous view of the river and separate trail for bicycling.
Nice little park with Park that has something for everyone; Playground with slidea nd swings for children, Bike trail, BBQ spot, Picnic area or just a quite spot to watch sunset over Fraser river. This place has it all, except food options.
Great park to unwind
Great park, but it's quite urban by my standards
Great place for walk and quite as well!
Late November so high tide (yes it is tidal even this far upstream) saw much of the picnic area lightly flooded.
Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but this park is the best!
Nice park and picnic area along the river. The new exercise equipment is a nice touch and the playground is great for kids. Great walking paths as well.
Great place for a hike with the pup
Very good place to walk and jogging. Very calm to walk along the lake. Easy to see Beautiful sunset.
A favourite for a picnic or a stroll along the river!
Great park for a nice walk. Very clean and ample street parking. Good for kids and families looking for a relaxing time.
Nice park with shades. Not too busy. Many small paths which still lead to the general direction.
..one of the best urban walks around.. riverfront/close by cafe/facilities/friendly, smiling dogs/(& owners)..varying loops for walking..
Very nice park great to go for a walk or sit by the water!
Very attractive and comfortable to take time here.
Setting is beautiful, has a fitness track and sunsets to view and appreciate!!!
Beautiful for nature walks!!
Can't wait until trail is finished and can walk over the foot bridge ... Great walking along the Fraser River.
This place is so nice!!!!!!!! Lots of street parking along with a bathroom and playground for children. You have some nice views of the water and the trail is nice and smooth and perfect for strollers, wheel chairs, walkers, etc. I'll definitely come back to this spot again !!! Highly recommend!!!!!!! ????????????????
Great place for walk ha e picnic with family friends and some activities
Big open space by the water, such parks are rare in Burnaby. Even on a busy Sunday you can still relax or take your kids to play there pretty safely. Nice variety of play structures for kids (2 years old and older). There is even a set of pull up bars! It's a big bonus for me, because I get a chance to get some exercise in, while watching my kids.
Pleasant on a nice day, discovered tons of picnic tables and outdoor gathering. Went on a cold but sunny day, caught the sunset, but as the night slowly progressed we were swarmed by gnats and then mosquitos. We escape to the car but I have never ran through such a huge cloud of mosquitos in my life. It was terrifying.
Lovely place, close to river, plenty of parking, dogs welcome, picnic area
Beautiful but crowded
Excellent place to go for walks along the Fraser.
Sick ass park, bring your binoculars and peep some birds yo.
Walk in nature by the muddy Fraser. Great place to run or walk the dog, or have a family picnic.
A nice family friendly, dog geopark right on the river. Play area for children, beach volleyball for the adults. Washrooms could be better.
The best location to walk your dogs.
Great place for a walk close to the city reasonably easy to get good social distancing. Lots of trails and open space right on the river. Good for dogs, cats, and families to walk and bike. A good place on a windy day to fly a kite.
A close little slice of nature. Lots of birds and even some snakes.
Beautiful park
Beat dog friendly park in greater Vancouver
The off leash dog area needs to be fenced. As a party with dogs and trying to adhere to the rules. It's hard to prevent dogs from running over to the volleyball/sand area over the sidewalk.
It's the Best place for me and my friends. Almost everyday when the weather is dry and sunny I could walk along the trail by the River side all day.
Great little walk. Nice new plaground. Different free exercise stations throughout. Good view of the bust Fraser. Clean. We'll kept. Street and lot parking available.
This is so beautiful. Love being near a river.
Great fun to walk along the Fraser River and watch the working boats going up and down the river. Peaceful setting.
Great park with long trails that follow along the Fraser River. Plenty of picnic tables, open fields, a playground, and washrooms.
Lovely park right on the Fraser River. There's an easy, accessible trail, fitness circuit, and a cute kids/teens playground.
Great place fora walk or cycling..
Trails can be very buggy during the evening got a bike ride
Beautiful spot to sit or get on exercise equipment or take kids for a climb.
Very nice place to walk your dog or have a picnic.
Very nice place for walk or exercising.
I love this place because near me
Always a great place for a walk or a picnic. Unfortunately people dont know how to clean up after themselves which can be an eyesore
Great place for a walk!
Beautiful area along the Fraser River where there is an off-leash dog park. Great walking paths.
Lovely walk along the river
Nice place to walk
Beautiful walk! We only did a small portion of it.
Beautiful place to spend time!
Lots of nice trails to walk with your dog.
Very nice place to go for a walk. There is excercise equipment place at intervals along the path. There is a playground with a good size climbing apparatus for the kids. Nice view of the river as well.
Quaint hole in the wall with great food. Note unless you have a trucker appetite, don't order a side or pancakes with your breakfast... Large portions. Definitely recommend!
It's a good place for a walk.
Love this place. Come with kids or by myself to walk and meditate.
A great place for a level walk. Also a nice place to have a group function at with all the available tables.
I never even knew there was a beautiful park here in Burnaby. All my friends who were here said the same thing. The view is just beautiful-- too blissful. With the sunlight, there's no words to describe this divine moment. It's the perfect place for a barbeque or even to bring kids for a picnic. There's a long but a nice walk that goes for 1000 metres. It's quite a clean park, with fun machines like the ones in central park. Too bad there's none like this in the rest of Burnaby.
Quiet and refreshing. Great place for a stroll, bike, walk and even a picnic.
Almost broke my neck in a large pothole while riding my bike
Good place for a day picnic
Love this place I visited quiet often.
Love it there .dogs do to
Really nice park in S Burnaby. Lots of construction going on, so some parts might be fenced off. No concession stands anywhere, but plenty of picnic tables can be found if you want to bring your own food.
Medium traffic trail on a weekend morning, not much to see or play for kids, but grownups will enjoy the the trail, no elevation, and short, good for a short walk for families with young kids.
It's a quiet beautiful park by the Fraser River
One of the most beautiful parks in greater Vancouver..
Nice place but could be a bit more cleaner but generally quite nice
Not usually crowded.
????
Nice park right beside the river. You can have picnics here . You can play beach volley ball here and its has big green space to play any other sport .
Nice and quiet during evening time
Great place to walk, picnic or exercise. New exercise equipment compliments of city of Burnaby and Burnaby Rotary Clubs.
Great place to walk a dog, jog out have a picnic. I love going down there.
The Foreshore Park connects to the Vancouver trail. You can head east, but I'm not sure how far it goes. When you head west, you will eventually end up in Vancouver, where you could stop for a meal or snack at Romer's Burger Restaurant, or continue walking for another 20 minutes west. The views along the Fraser River are great.
Great views.
Great place for a nice quiet walk and very suitable for younger children (below 5 yo) and elders. Good for biking especially for younger ones that struggle with up and down terrains. Paved flat paths. Downsides are playground is very small and parking is very limited. Most people park along the street. Also not much around it in terms of restaurants, cafes etc. You should bring your snacks along with you.
Favorite 'in town " park. Not busy, perfect for bike rides or picnics by the river.
!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!! The water can make your pet very sick, especially in the summer months because the water is stagnant. My dog ended up getting leptospirosis from the water and almost died. He was in and out of the vet for 2 months from the infection.
One of my favorite places to walk. Lots of shade on a hot day.
Great BBQ's to be had and a wonderful offleash area for the dogs.
Nice trail and not too busy with lot of space
Mosquitos are everywhere. It's a bad place if you have allergies
Long walking paths with lots of benches and areas to stop and enjoy the view of the river. They have recently added exercises equipment and created a fitness circuit along the path. There are washrooms near the parking lot.
Very good walking trail along the Fraser River bank. Can walk for miles. Trails mostly flat and paved. Grass area near parking lot hv picnic tables. Very good place for family outing/lunch. Lots of parking. Washrooms on site.
Nice park
Foreshore Park follows the Fraser River shore, hence its name. I park at the foot of Byrne Road, at the parking lot where a lovely walk through old Cottonwood trees starts (Go west). I walk until Boundary road around 45 minutes but you can continue alot farther. There is construction after Boundary so the trail may not be complete at this time. There is a lookout about half way that allows a view up and down the river. You can walk, ride or jog this trail and its good for stroller and electric assist machines. There is a picnic area, (not opened during the pandemic,) volleyball area, dog park, and a washroom.
Lovely off leash area, and a nice on-leash walk along the river. Washroom is heated (bonus), and the sunsets are gorgeous.
Place is gorgeous. Alot of its closed due to covid but still a good place to take your dog for a walk.
Beautiful trees, calming path and public washrooms
My favorite place for walks and river water relaxation.
Great park for the kids to play and lots for them to do! Beautiful views and benches for the parents!
Lots of space to walk your pup's
Picnic, barbecue, good place for family outdoor activities.
Has a playground, fields for Volleyball, BBQ pits and washrooms. Limited parking
Okey walk, lowly, but a bit too short.
Busy but nice
Enjoy the long walk along Fraser River
Beautiful place, too bad all along the shore (river banks) are logs and they stink so badlyl. It's also overcrowded people are not following 6' distance during this pandemic.
Nice, safe and long walk.
Great view! Good for picnics
This is a great place for going for a leisurely walk along the trail next to the river. You can hear the birds singing or seeing a beaver, river otter, eagles, different ducks that use the area and watch the boats in the river. Its a good place for a family picnic if it's not busy or just sit and relax and take in the moments and even take a camera for that ultimate shot. If you you bring your pet dog please keep it on the leash and clean up after it, as a person who walks there have been issues with other pets while not on leashes and attacking each other or even people. This area is well used for walking and hiking and some good hidden gems for food like the Fraser Park Resturant, Romers Burger Bar. Enjoy the area and have a good walk!
Beautiful place to go for a walk or after dark get hammered.
Great space in the city. Good dog park. Great place for BBQ picnic.
Mass Tree manufacturing lumber in the river are killing all living fishery..
Very nice place for family and kids to enjoy
Great place to just go for a walk
Great dog walking. Unique river-side park. Don't forget about the marsh lands on the east side of the park.
Nice park. Beautiful views
Love this park ???? great off leash area, well maintained ????
A nice and quiet park by the river. It has all the activities you wanted. It has a children's playground with a washroom nearby. A couple of exercise machines to try out. A dog's park with ample picnic area. You can even play volleyball there, just bring the net and ball. A nice bike trail runs through the park. Truly a gem.
Great Park for walking and biking.
An amazing place!
Unbelievably beautiful park and view! I felt so connected with nature!!!
Nice place to have a evening walk or to have picnic with family. You will also able to swim and kayaking too.
Lovely area to walk, have picnics, walk your dog, bring your children and some biking. Close to the river with pretty views everywhere.
Is my favourite urban trail, rain or shine
Nice park but serious lack of parking
Great walking trails that stretch for miles.
Nice park, but unfortunately, it is filled with toxic air due to the incinerator only a few hundred meters away. It is burning 24/7 spreading carcinogens (cancerous fume) into the air in the park. The city needs to move the incinerator as this is no longer a remote area as when it was built. So sad for all animals and birds living there breathing in the toxin fume.
Easy parking, convenient tables, nice walk
Nice walk. Too bad 1/2 closed for repair.
One of my favorite places to take my lunch.
Favourite walk by the river. Park at Fraser Foreshore, walk west for 3km to grab a burger, then walk it off on the way back to the car. Lol!
Playground is open now!
Excellent location for picnic with a river view. Scenery is not the best. There is public washroom and small parking lot.
Great trails and views
Nice waking trail good for thinking and winding down
Quite, waterfront, easy to park!
Super for children ,and grown up picnics.
Few handicapped spots and even worst are the lack of parking when the park gets busy. Didn’t feel safe using women’s washroom. The water looks calm and want to swim in it but the water is only for industry now. If I had my way, I would use a portion and make it a beach. Over a hundred years ago, the original inhabitants were probably using it for swimming. What a waste!! People have to go to Mexico to swim when we have it here but we gave the Fraser to big industry to polute the water and tow lumber up and down the river.
Good place for walking, jogging, biking and picnics.
Great park for family events bbq's and the dogs
Not much to do was expecting better not up to burnabys standards, quite subpar.
Very interesting place
Love this park! The playground is quite good and big. There's lots of trees, picnic tables and benches. You can even book the covered picnic tables for large groups. Directly faces the Fraser River. Best part is there's plenty of parking on the street!
It's a great park for dogs. There is a large off leash area, with a water dispenser
My weekend rendezvous-clean-calm-easy walk, applicable for all ages...
Love the walk. It's a slice of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of life
What a hidden gem. Great place to have a bbq or get together. Lots of picnic tables and greens space to set up shop. Also have washrooms and garbages for convenience!
Very beautiful. Good hiking
Great place for outdoor work out!
Great picnic area for any occasion!!
Quiet, great place to walk
Good walking area
Lovely place I like to go there always
Very clean and scenic place
Super park with great walking/biking pathways and a lovely view of the river. There's a nice low, grassy hill with picnic tables (some covered). The playground has some neat nautical-themed things for the kids to climb and a rope climbing structure was recently added.
Cute little park with a off leash area. My dogs love walking here
Nice place for large or small groups, popular on weekends in summertime. We have our church picnic every year here.
I love parks along a river with places for picnics, bbqs, beach volleyball, outdoor gym equipment and even the chance to see a bald eagle perched in a tree once in a while...and this place has all the above. In the afternoons when the nearby businesses are closed there is plenty of parking around and it's very tranquil.
Good off leash area for dogs.
Lovely place to walk near the river
Really nice trail to walk along the river with a good play area for kids, picnic areas and even a fitness circuit.
Excellent place to hang out by Fraser river, picnicking, walking, biking, in touch with nature, kids playground... even fishing, if you want to try.
Lots of public squats for barbecues, even a sand pit for volleyball
Our children absolutely love the playground.
This right here is a park
Easy bus access
Quiet. Plenty of picnic tables. Great view of river.
Super nice spot for a walk a d a play for the kids
Not much people early in the morning
Quiet place next to a river
Park, Riverside Walk ????♂️, Kids park
Nice place for a wall, very family friendly but lately it's been extremely busy
Great place to take your family or go for walk or bike ride.
Great place to go along the river and evening walk with kids, parent, spouse and by yourself.
Great place to watch sunset. Very quiet, not too many people. Lots of free parking. But bring mosquito repellent in warm months!
Fine if you don't mind seeing a snake on the path. Yikes!
Long shady walking trails
Enough open space and shades with nice breeze. Great for walking, jogging and cycling. Just added some fitness equipment and so provide a wide range of choices.
A hidden gem in the heart of Burnaby! Right beside the water, with some pretty beautiful views. There’s a wonderful walk through the park, full of seats and benches to take in the scenery. You can find some fun workout gear in the public areas, and the bathrooms are well maintained. Playground area is pretty unique. There’s also a huge barbecue area with lots of room to set up activities. Open parking lot with plenty of free street parking all throughout the walk. Not much in terms of restaurants or food nearby though, and hard to access with transit.
Nice to go for a evening stroll !!! Beautiful sunset.!!!
Great park for walking our dog, and for our toddler to play in. Close enough to the busy shopping area to pick up lunch and walk here at lunchtime, too! Only downside is the bathrooms could be kept cleaner.
week days are good to visit weekends are popular for picnic.
nice park, but off leash dogs EVERYWHERE
Great place for dogs and picnics
Perfect place for long peaceful walks.
Beautiful park, dog friendly, nice walking trails along the river. They have nice proper washrooms with running water not just an outhouse. Lots of seating with benches and picnic tables. Along the walk there is spread out exercise equipment. Fun playground. They have bookable / rentable covered picnic areas for groups. If you're looking for a nice walk along the water this is a great place to check out. There are a few parking lots but lots of street parking too.
A great recreation area, Dog's welcome. Always good parking Free at that. Just "Nice to be nearly on the river"
Nice park across the river. Calm and sunny.
Did not have a good experience at the park when I took my grandson there. They need to add more fun stuff for the kids.
Great place to walk your dog
Nice day / nice Park to stop in at ????
A nice park with children's activities for a variety of ages. Good walking paths, and a serviceable picnic area.
Good walking activities park. Fresh air coming from Frazer river, good playground for children, calm sorrounding, very clean washroom.
Great place for dogs
A great place to walk the dog. Take in a stroll. Ride your bike, skateboard, you can go for, K's. Or just sit back with a good friend or a coffee and watch the river flow through.
Nice walk along the river. Could have better lighting.
Very peaceful.
A nice place to go and sit and relax by the river. There is a playground for children and a washroom which is very nice to have at a park.
Urban trail along the river. Shady trees most of the way. Part dogs off leash. Picnic tables and shelters. Ample street parking
Beautiful park with lots of spots to BBQ!
Great park...great trails...but the weirdest dog park layout I have ever been to. No fences...
Cheap food. Huge portions. Not crazy about the self serve set up.
Nice neighborhood walk and cycle
Walking and thinking are most internal activities for my daily life.
Beautiful, quiet place
Nice little park & walkway by the river. Sadly, the playground equipment has been dismantled due to CoVid19. Small parking lot but there's also lots of street parking. Very accessible park. A hidden gem
Unfenced off-leash dog park! ????
Nice park with a trail that runs parallel to the fraser river. The trail goes for miles now that they have finshed with some of the construction. Often times you can catch film crews working here. They installed some weight free resistance gym/fitness machines to the east of the Bbq area.
