We took a wrong turn and ended up here. We had some hamburgers and fries etc etc so we went in anyways and we walked a bit. Yadda yadda yadda the etc etc and we ended up sitting at a bench and eating or some what. It was 10/10 walkable.

a beautiful park with multi-uses for all ages. this should be the rule not the exception with the parks in the city. there is not a heck of a lot for teenagers to do in this city and as we all know, idle hands are the devil's playground. this park has a wonderful bike park brought by the rotary club. it is well maintained and the bike club is there pretty well every weekend it's open to offer help to novice to pro. there are also walking trails and green space and ample parking. so there is something for every age.

OMG! I wish this place was around when my children were young! It looks like so much fun! So many hills and jumps, just like you see the pros using on TV. I think anyone from 8 to 28 would have a great time here! The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars; I'm concerned about what would happen if there was an injury as, obviously, there are no emergency medical personnel on site.

Great place for a casual stroll! Beautiful forest with very little poison ivy (if any) but a bit of stinging nettle. Only criticism is the locals hitting golf balls from the other side of the riber towards one of the river side trail as we were walking along!

Nice access to the trail. Large park good for watching stars at night or flying a kite on a windy day. Kids will love that there is 2-3 Pokemon stops here. Coming soon is the bike park which should be great Park could benefit from bathrooms and fountains

Beautiful place for friends, family and dogs! Plus the walking trail is right there as well as an awesome bike park! My son and I took a walk along the trail and had fun exploring the different paths. It's very maintained! I definitely recommend you check it out!

The trail here is great. It's about a 5km loop from the parking along the berm to Wilkes Dam and back. Suggest taking the berm out and on your return there's a trail that follows the water intake, sort of a canal, that will take you back. In the summer there's a great bike park there as well!

These park itself is quite nice and well groomed, dogs for the most part are leashed, many different trail options but the roadway to get in is in pretty rough shape. More moguls than the bike park has, the city needs to do some repairs as I'm sure it's pretty rough on vehicles and not very attractive

Great diamonds but limited seating on diamond 1 and zero seating at diamond 2. Pitching mounds are clay base and the entire field is very well maintained. Completely fenced-in (which gives the players something to hit over) and is also locked to keep out DOG WALKERS!! What a great idea.

I come across off leash dogs in this area way too often. If you have a reactive dog, I would stay away from the area...or be prepared to defend your dog. This is not an off leash dog park, but people use it as so. There is a sign infront of the park stating leash and scoop for anybody who would like to question that.

This is one of Brantford's finest gems. There are several kilometres of wooded trails, as well as the elevated paved trail. There is a huge multi sport field and the bike park full of dirt jumps and dirt tracks for bicycles. A great place.

SQUARE SILO built by Thomas and Hartley Berry in 1903. Stone was taken from the nearby Grand River bed and used to build these very unique square silos. There is one at Waterworks Park (Lew Witton Fields) and one down on the west side of Birkett Lane. Only two square silos in Brantford. I have never seen one anywhere else. A must see to check out! The pics shown of the square silo hidden in the trees is the silo on Birkett Lane.

The badeball diamonds at this park are great. However, while the bleachers are open and available for use they are not that comfortable and there is little room to put chairs to watch the game. There were a lot of foul balls that were hit and lost as well.

A very good place to be close to Nature. It has well kept hiking and cycling trail and a BMX trail too. Good for people of all ages groups. The Grand River is good for fishing. When we went, was very shallow so we could walk through the river. Pets are welcome too

One of our 'go tos' for a short or long walk. Multiple trails mean you can take a short hike or long. Wilderness style trail not a rail trail....though a paved path runs though the middle starting at Wilkes Dam. Mostly hikers, cyclists ....the odd time a dirt bike. People do not always keep their dogs on a leash.....or clean up after them. :( There are paths that go near the River and you often see people fishing. There is also a bike park close by...located near the 'bus Barnes' (City Buses left overnight)
