Very Large park with the frisbee game setup throughout the park for anyone to enjoy with their frisbee, and pavilions to sit under and lots of green space to do things in, soccer, riverside, trails, lots of parking

This is the best free park in Brantford for kids to play! Very nice for picnics, walks, grilling and has washrooms!

I played my guitar in one of the pavilions and then went for a hike down the trails to the lake. Very scenic. Also has lots of playground for kids. Perfect place to get the family outside for the day without spending a lot of money.

We had our family reunion there. It was our first time at the park. It was clean, park staff made sure that the park and playground and washrooms were clean. I was totally impressed with the park and the breathtaking views of the river. Were definitely doing for next years reunion.

Good place to play disc golf with your college friends, just avoid down by the water. There are far to many crack heads in brantford that prefer to shoot up down there.

I tripped on a pile of heroin needles and got covered in a thick maroon mud, I went to wash myself in this bathroom but was disturbed to find a small group of goats and large, fresh piles of manure spread around the room. I was absolutely disgusted but nevertheless waded through the dung piles to wash myself off. As I did the goats gang jumped me and ate my clothes I had no choice but to use a hardened piece of manure to fight my way out. I reported it to Parks and Rec but every time just get some email about how we have a goat infestation!

I love coming to the Mohawk Park and Pavillion. It's always a fun time especially with the splash pad! My son always had a blast at the splash pad. It's usually always clean and they have avFrisbee throwing course for some extra fun! Plus the play park is pretty awesome for kids with all kinds of different activities for them to do. I've never seen an unhappy kid at this park. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing day or some fun for the kids!

Nice park with lots of space and nature. Splash pad is more of a 2 sprinkler system. Very crowded on weekends. Adults use the splash pad.

This is a great park for the whole family to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. There are pavilions that can be rented for a family reunion or any get together also throughout the park are randomly placed picnic tables for your day out lunch, dinner or both if you can't get the kids to leave. There are 2 areas with equipment for the kids and for the child in us too. The main playground is bigger and better but the one by the splash pad is fun for the little climbers but it is not so big. Since I mentioned the splash pad I guess I should say something about that.... it is ok I really wish it was bigger and better but for a free day at the park it is nice to have especially on the really hot days. I noticed though the kids don't seem to mind so overall I think the park deserves a 5 star..... I just want to say I have seen some pretty harsh reviews of this park and I feel they are unjust #1 as for accessibility I happen to know that parts of the speed bumps were removed for wheelchairs as a fix so they could still stay fully on ash fault with out needing to go on the ground to get over them. I am hoping someday there will be a path in from the top for easy access for all like parents with strollers too. #2 I have been to this park a lot and I personally have not seen a "junkie". If anyone ever read the newspaper they would already know that the needles are coming from down or up stream somewhere investigations have been happening for that. I would definitely advise to use caution but I would do that for anywhere and in any city these days. So please have fun and enjoy our little piece of nature.

Mohawk Park is a great place for family celebrations including; family reunions, birthdays, or any other type of Gathering. It has a built in BBQ in the middle of the pavillion. Also it has a sprinkler pad off to the side. And many many many Trees for shade it iz beautiful. <3 it. Try it.
