There isnt too much to see, but in the summer there is a small splash-pad for kids and 18 holes of disk golf. The park has a wooden walkway by the water, and a small path through the woods. The playground is decent and open all year round.

Really nice park. It has the whole nine yards of what one could want in a park, and then some. Complete with grass, trees, a place to park, a Frisbee golf course, and playgrounds for the kids. There are also a few sheltered pavilions if you are thinking of holding a function of sorts.

What a great park! Spacious and lots of mature trees for shades. There is a new playground structure the kids loved! They also enjoyed the splash pad. Washrooms are available. Unfortunately we were there at the same time as the gypsy moth caterpillar invasion. So until they are gone, choose you spot wisely????

Great family park with plenty to do. There is a nice splash pad with a small park in behind as well as washrooms/change rooms near by. In the middle of the park is a fair sized playground for the children to enjoy. Near the entrance to the park is the start point to an 18 hole disc golf course which takes you through most of the park. If you're planning any parties you will be able to rent out one (or however many you'd like) of the many pavilions around the park. Lots of parking and wheelchair accessible.

run down equipment but naturally beautiful. this park should be the pride of the city. too bad money is not spent sprucing it up. it ends up being home to bad elements due to lack of care and no police patrol regularly through it. also find it bizarre that entire park is often closed to the public for private events. this is odd..

Beautiful and peaceful park with lots of green spaces and picnic areas. There's a playground, access to Mohawk lake, a snack bar that can also be rented out for events and also a splash pad for the kids. There's even a fire pit for having a bbq. This is a wonderful park to get out in nature and relax.

Amazing! Loved the trails, really nice area and well kept. Could have had a bit more love and care in the muddy areas. Looked like someone had driven through with a 4 wheeler which sucked for the family on our adventure yesterday. However it won't stop us from going again. Just planning for better weather this time.

It is a decent park for picnic, birthdays, reunions etc. However could really use a refresh. The splash pad is very basic and the playground by the splash pad is really old. The playground is also behind the splash pad so it makes it very hard to see both when the kids are running around playing. The playground away from the splashpad is quite nice though still.

Park needs to be better maintained. Trails contain litter and used needles. Would not recomend take your children through them but splash pad, playground and disc golf areas are usually kept clean for families and children

My kids and I always have a fun time when we visit. There are pavilions available to rent, a splash pad, two areas with playground equipment, frolf, trails and Mohawk lake. Park is well maintained with plenty of space, shade and picnic areas.

We play frisbee golf here as a family - excellent course through a beautiful mature park with large trees. We also enjoy the splash pad and playground for our kids. Park is heavily used which is great, but it means more people and more garbage. Sometimes it is messy but the city workers are around regularly to clean up and empty garbages.

This park has beautiful trees, grounds, shade and a cute splash pad for kids. Unfortunately the shelters are a bit dirty, with lots of bugs and the playground/splash pad are getting older and out dated. Our kids still really enjoyed them though!

This is the go to park for me and the kids after school. So.e awesome dats happen throughoyt the year naturally. a few days during the late spring have hundreds of caterpillars seemingly floatung thru the air. Great playgrounds, lots of nature, frolf course and splashpad for the kids on hot days

Amazing park! My kids who are 10 and 2 both had fun. Play structures were friendly for both young and older kids. Their staff were nice and friendly. They reminded us that if it gets busy to stay for 30 minutes so everyone gets a chance. Lovely tall trees for shade everywhere. Lots of picnic table to sit in and parking closeby.

A beautiful place to spend the day with your family!! You can feed the squirrels and picnic under the tree's. They have a kids play area with swings and an outdoor jungle gym with a splash pad in the summer! In the fall and winter it's gorgeous for photos... but over all its nice all year round. You can even rent a hall for weddings or any kind of reception as well. I'd recommend it to anyone! 5 stars!

This park is great for everyone! Paths are well taken care of by park staff for walking, biking, or running. Lots of covered picnic areas for groups or just a park picnic. The park and splash pad are great for kids with plenty of seating for parents/guardians. There is a good view of the river and paths going down to the water's edge. Not a bad place to let kids play unfortunately the place is in a sorry state and is in need of a major overhaul. Could not stay long as this time a year all the bathrooms are locked and shut down. The parking lot needs to be redone. Not overly safe to walk kids as some of the areas near roads have no walk ways. I have also seen people doing drugs with needles and having intercourse in the bushes on multiple occasions. Don't recommend going to this park at all. Seems like the city of brantford gave up on mohawk park. #Brantford

The whole park is covered in original trees. They’re so large and dense that there is little direct sunlight in the park. It’s humbling in a way to be in a place that was not clear cut. Plus: Not a lot of bugs. Splash pad. Look out area and several paths.

The only reason this park didn't get 5 stars is because unfortunately, it's a seasonal park. You can only enjoy it for a few months a year. Beautifully kept with amenities and lots of shade and picnic tables. Lovely hall overlooking the Grand that is available for special occasions as well as pavilions. Love this park

We have had a family picnic at Mohawk park for almost 40 years now. We rent the same pavilion every time . There are ample tables for our purpose and electricity for making coffee. There is a splash pad for children and last year a small kiddie train drove around the park for a small fee. There are also game fields . Great place.

Great park to take the kids. There is a giant kids playground, and a large splash pad for the kids to enjoy. For those that are interested there is a soccer field, frisbee golf, and large gazebos for family picnics. Unfortunately the bathrooms are not always kept up very well by the city staff.

Mohawk park is great for families with kids, dog owners, and nature lovers. They have a great play ground and splash pad for the kids too. There is pavilions that you can rent for family reunions, birthday parties or anything like that. There is also picnic tables through out that park to for you to use. You can get together with friends and play frisbee golf. Go for a stroll on the trails. They have a soccer field near the top. Plus they have a small hall you can rent out for events too. I love Mohawk park but I didn't give them 5 stars because even though they have the great play equipment for the kids(and it is in great shape) it's old been there since I was a kid and no updates since. I remember the old wooden equipment and the was a couple of different places you could go. Now it is only the big equipment or the smaller bus type jungle gym plus the splash pad. It has been a long time and I think it would be better if they put another play equipment some where in the park. It would be good for families to once again walk from one place to another.

Beautiful, shaded park!! Fantastic, new playground with loads of activities for kids! Not to mention the soft sponge like mat for safety if tripping or falling! Fantastic Frisbee golf...18 cages/holes! Nice splash pad for little ones and many benches and tables through out the park for picnics or just sitting! Lots of shelters and paved walkways too. Something for everyone at this well kept park♡

During the summer time it's the Perfect place to have a picnic with lots of trees, pavilions and picnic tables. Kids can enjoy the sprinkler system, or their choice of the two playground areas, they also have a snack bar but is only open approx 1 month of the summer. Mohawk Park has a couple small trails to check out and a deck to privately view the Grand River. There is a lot you can do here with a family, as a couple or just with friends. I enjoy bringing my kids they can always play for at least an hour or two just in the sprinklers.

Wonderful lake views of the lake on scenic trails that intertwine around the lake. There are excellent okay parks that are creatively constructed to encourage group play. Can't wait to go back for a spring hike.

Very nice park lovely tall trees and nice views of lake. We cycle there from jerseyville on the trail which was in great condition. Washroom facilities were one as well.

Definitely one of the best parks I've taken my daughter to. They had picnic tables by the actual playground too and not just at the pavilion and lots of parking so it made the playground easily accessible and that just all made our picnic day even better However with the pandemic if it's getting busy then kids only have 30 min of playtime in the playground because there is a limit to the amount of children at play in the playground
