Great park to visit with friends and family or both. Lots of green space and a large kid playground as well as metal workout equipment grouped in groups of 3. Covered eating area and a public washrooms as well. Some picnic tables have woodburning pits as well.

Beautiful park along Sturgeon river in St.Albert, it has two bridges that are great for photographing,one is the CN bridge which is probably over a hundred years old now.If you follow the paved path along the river you will walk past two cool grain elevators also great for photographing.All ages friendly park with concrete pathways which means good for wheelchairs.

It's a nice park located near downtown St Albert. There is a playground as well as outdoor exercise equipment. There are several picnic tables here and many of them have fire pits as well. The park is near the river trail systems as well which is nice.

Beautiful park Kids do track and field there and i have played ball there in the past but have always gone there for Canada Day Celebrations. The only negative thing is people. There are à ton of garbage cans and recycle boxes every where in the park but after the fireworks when the lights came on i was shocked at the amount of garbage on the ground. My granddaughter felt the need to pick some up on her way to the garbage can with ours. What a shame for the poor parks people that had to clean that mess.

A great place for the family and kids ! There is free parking at the library and public bathrooms right in the park. They have a playground for the kids and a bunch of fire sites to build your own fires for BBQs. It is alongside the bike trials so it is perfect for walking or bike riding.

The park is relatively clean and HS a small water park for the kids. The water park is seasonal, as are the bathrooms. There is a large open grassy area that one can pick if or sunbathe. The only downside to the play areas is that they use sand here and not the rubber mulch like some of the other parks and it can be messy. All in all this is a good spot to come spend some time with the kids!

Went for the Rock'n August car show and it was awesome. Soo many cars, spent almost 3 hours and didn't even see every car. The farmers market was on as well which had some fantastic vendors, spent a lot more money than I expected.

This park had been a curtain standard of excellence for over 25 years . Contains fire pits for public use ( check covid and fire restrictions before). Also has a few shelter areas with picnic table seating incase you need to make a dash for cover for unexpected rainy days ! Leads to a large system of gorgeous walking trails ! Nice easy trail along grand river. Trail is wide and what is not paved is hard packed and level ground for walking with a stroller or to bike. Trail has loops to double back to your car.

This is a great park. It's well shaded thanks to the large trees around the park and has lots of picnic tables as well as benches. There is a sandbox area with a playground, a fairly large green space, a fenced spray park, and a basketball court. There are also bathrooms available. PS: It's a popular spot for birthday parties in the summer!

Great place for meeting friends or family, having a picnic or party and a fire. Park for the kids, plenty of picnic tables and walking trails as well as quite a few covered picnic sites. Also fairly clean as far as public picnic sites go. If you're planning on a fire, definitely bring something to put it out with as there is no water on site to do so

Very old arena of my son's hockey team was there for a tournament this past weekend no bells and whistles but really when you're playing hockey what bells and whistles do you need I find the walking tracks in most new arenas are just a way to make old people upset at children for playing so I don't miss them what I did miss was heat it was so cold you can see your breath in the arena and they did have heaters they just chose not to turn them on oh and although it's a decent arena

I have been here for a few car shows in August and the park is always well maintained. They have a nice outdoor gym, and running paths.

An excellent little park with several fire pits (with grills) on site. Two sheltered picnic areas, and flush toilets on site. Bring your own wood - there is sometimes wood there, but not always. There is a good sized playground for kids 4-12 or so. They also have a small skating surface in the winter (or they have the last couple years). The park is usually busy over the weekend during the summer, so get there early. Weeknights and winter it is rarely full.

Lions Park is beautiful, well kept, and appreciated by everyone in St. Albert and area, assuming they've been here at least once before. Man, you can cook hotdogs here, work out, enjoy a sick skyline from the hills, and walk your dog. What's not to love?

Was a 5 star 3 years ago. Its family friendly before 4pm on Weekdays. After 4pm expect the horrible smell of Meth. I would advise removing your children from the area, as I once took part in the weed smoking right on the benches in-front of the park under the roof connected to the washrooms. Majority of teens have knives on them, or mace. Drug sales are done, drugs are boughten in the parking lot, injections take place in the washrooms, heavy heavy vandalism occurs daily at all hours, massive 7 foot flames from the bonfire pit, non stop loud gangster music, snorting of drugs, fights, and the lot of criminal activity.

This is a nice little park with 2 ball diamonds, a large playground for older kids and a smaller set of equipment for the littler ones, plus swings and a half basketball court. Lots of green space for playing soccer, catch or practising gymnastics during ball games without fear of being hit. It's well-maintained and a good place for kids of all ages to play, however, I've found people ignore the signs forbidding smoking near the play equipment; some local kids occasionally vandalize the equipment; and the language of some of the teens and even younger children using the park often leaves much to be desired; hence only 4 out of 5 stars.

It's a park, bring your kids here and have a picnic and enjoy the summer weather..don't taint it by using drugs or getting drunk but if u are that ignorant and can't help yourself for God's sake at least clean up your garbage and DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND for any small children or toddlers to grab, I can't imagine seeing a kid cut or poke him/herself on something some idiot junkie left behind cuz they can't be functional and respectful to the other people in society, some of the stories I've seen out of London scare the hell outta me and I myself have seen used needles and spoons laying on the street or lawns all over town which really sickens me, if u are going to do it at least do it properly and clean up after yourself so it doesn't bring anymore harm to other people than u are already doing whether it's are family memeber, friend or just someone they had to walk their kids by on the street when their looped outta their minds on dope ????

Cosy park offering views of the lake, a boat dock and a lighthouse. A seafood restaurant is close by and we got lunch from there and ate at a covered pavilion. Lots of wasps around so be careful when having picnics. Some sinkholes near the edge as well.

This was our first time here and we were impressed by how big it was, how many picnic tables there were and the distance the walking/biking trail goes. We loved that there was a washroom facility right beside the playground and my son loved playing in the sand. I thought it was really neat that there is old adult workout equipment outdoors. St. Albert has beautiful parks!

Had a fire and hotdog roast, kids played at the park and we would have skated but it was a bit too chilly. For the most part people clean up after themselves and the bathrooms were clean and stocķed.

Great location for a park and ball diamonds in the city. Needs more upkeep from the city and/or service club. The infield on ball diamond 1 is all overgrown and there was dangerous debris from the construction on Hughes over near the backstop.
