We really enjoyed our stay in Brantford over the Easter long weekend, we spent time each day at this park and our pup really loved it here. He made many new friends and was able to roam freely without any worries.

I go here on a daily basis. Park is okay but seem like a lot of wasted potential. Where the park could be a lot better. Bigger with some lights and wind protection

Quiet dog park located beside some trails adjacent to a river. Some decent parking, I think 10-15 spots past a short dirt road. Doggy bags on site if needed. The park is decent, some benches to sit on and some trees. Could use some obstacle structures or obstacles to keep dogs excited.

This park does not have any natural water source. Make sure to bring water for your pup... Bowls are already there. This park does a great job supplying dog bags but... If you use one, replace it next time.

This is a well used fully enclosed leash free park that is avout 3/4 of a hectare in size. There are large shade trees in the enclosure and numerous fixed benches for human seating. The ground cover is primarily dirt that can get quite dirty in inclement weather. On hot days the strong smell of dog urine is unavoidable. There is a porta potty available outside of the main entrance where the garbage cans are also located. The park is very well used...perhaps overused. Dog owners will need to bring their own water. Poop bags are offered at the entrance to the enclosure. Please be a respectful pet owner and pick up after your dogs

Good park, decent sized park and easy to keep an eye on your dog. The poop bags are often very well stocked. Tends to get very wet and muddy after rain. We won't take our pup in the afternoon as it tends to get too crowded and people tend to form groups, thus the dogs tend to stay still/around their owners and it just causes problems between the dogs.

It's a fairly good dog park and generally clean. Some owners do not bother to clean up after their dogs or correct their dog's aggressive behaviours at times. Keep an eye on your dog, watch where you are stepping, and be responsible and you should have an enjoyable time.

This park is reasonably well maintained and usually has free poop bags at the door. Occasionally after lots of rain and in the spring it can be a real mud pit but they have done their best to avoid these troubles with ample wood chips being added in the low parts. One criticism is the small size and it us fairly boring for the dogs. I have seen deer off the back fence a few times now though so that is pretty neat.

People don't really pay attention to their dogs so they are off causing trouble but the owners don't really care. Don't clean up when they poop. As soon as you get out of your car all you can smell is dog urine.

Great park, spacious and well fenced. Great to see some trees in the area too for hide and seek with your pup. My only concern are people who bring their children or newborn infants. I feel like 12+ should be the age limit. Incredibly unsafe to bring your infant as well, all it takes is one dog to knock you over and its potentially fatal. Let’s keep it DOG friendly.

There are plenty of trees for shaded areas and benches to relax on. Plus there are always bags provided to clean up after your dog in case you forgot your own. There isn't that much grass in the main area but other than that, this is a great dog park.

Great place to bring your furry friends, lots of wide open space with grass that is maintained and some trees for shade. Doggy bags are provided at the gate and there is a port o potty in case you’re caught short. Wild recommend.

My dog and I have been enjoying this park for a year and a half. It has a nice balance of open space and trees and lots of room to run. If you have a small dog they may have problems with the roughness of some of the large dogs. The good news is that there will be a second area dedicated to small dogs in the near future.

Find that the park could use some fresh grass seed as the trampled areas cause sand/dirt and mud on the wet mornings and especially rainy days it can actually be a deturant on those types of days. all of the dogs are extremely friendly however some owners are obviously there strictly for their animal and pay little to no attention to others around them as they open and close the gates so if u have a escape artist I would highly suggest being extra vigelent around the gate(s) until u become familiar with the people.

I wish there was a supply for water for the dogs. As long as it's not too busy and people don't bring dog toys I love taking my dog here! It is one of the larger dog parks I've been to around here, which is great! But watch where you step, I find people dont always notice or care when their dogs do the business. Doggy poop bags are provided.

I love this park but not as much as my dog does. This is a great place to take your dog to get some exercise and let them socialize with other dogs. The one problem I have with the park is some dog owners don't read or just don't care about the rules of the park. The rules clearly state that if your dog digs you must fill it back in. This rule is clearly for the safety of the dogs and there owners. Please follow the rules so we can all have a safe and enjoyable visit.

Needs to be brought up to date.way to much mud and water around entrance.3 out of four park benches sit in depressions surrounded by 6 inches of water.also short people cannot sit on benches as their legs dangle.use of wood chips in the right areas would significantly help. Other than wet muddy areas Park in good shape..a few more benches placed under shade tree would be appreciated as the previous benches were placed out in the sun.hope my input helps.

Park is big and lots of room. For improvements I would suggest work on the parking lot and driveway, which are covered in potholes. A water source is really critical at the dog park, this park does not have one. There is not much shade during the summer months. Some spots are super muddy but staff do respond quickly to fill with wood chips. To really make an improvement to this park, a small area for smaller dogs would be awesome.

Had a guy threaten to call the cops on me and told me to get the F out because he thought my dog was a pitbull when in fact he is an American bulldog. One lady said my black lab was causing “chaos” because he was trying to hump another dog. I think a lot of people just go there to socialize with other people rather than getting their dog some exercise i.e. gathering in big circles and chit chatting.

Coming from Toronto and then Oakville and then visiting lots a dog parks in and around Ontario, I’d say this one is damn good. It actually has grass and trees that have not been completely damaged. People and dogs there are nice too and extra bags there by the fence. No water is my only suggestion.

First time taking my puppy there had the park to ourselves. Second time lots of people and dogs didn't go so well. Too may big dogs came running to greet us and scared the daylights out of my dog. Only 1 of the pet parents bothered to come see if my puppy and I were ok! No one else bothered they were too busy talking!
