This Park belongs to the category of Park.
Great spot for fishing, biking and going down the river. Oh and camping.
Great facilities to have so close to home
Best campground I can find within a 1 hour drive from Brantford, and it is here in town. Only downside is the pool...I personally think it is just as gross as the Grand River, which you also have access to. But I go tp camp grounds to camp, and it is large, quiet, and the sites are fairly isolated from eachother.
Portapotty for campers near the rafting launch was disgusting and not cleaned frequently enough. It's also only one (there should be at least 5) that is used by hundreds of rafters in a day, and it's not right it's shared with campers.
Beautiful park
Beautiful clean trails with plenty of wildlife to see.
Great campground, choose a site in the back woodsy lots though... and the pool is a kids dream come true.
Beautiful park with lots of trails and the Grand River running right through it
????????
Great time, nice neighbours, a little sad the pool wasn't open but good times
Washrooms near by, great service, big pool, big camp space
This was our first year camping here, it was close to home. We had a big beautiful site. We actually rented two sites as we were over in numbers.. one was massive and private, the other was extremely small and had no privacy at all but was the same price- we were confused about why they would be the same price. ( both premium sites ) The pool was exciting for the kids as he was huge! though it was freezing cold it was a lot of fun. My only complaint about this park is there is no beach.
It was beautiful
Nice park, unfortunately it looks like all the best sites have been permanently occupied by long term seasonal campers.
chill place to be
Just amazing, experiencing mother earth waking up and all the critters.
Nice views
Great times, washrooms could be cleaner.
Surprisingly large well serviced campground hidden across the river from a large town. Lots of activities. Beautiful location. Too close to civilization for die hard campers but great for families.
Nice area, large park.. Weekend/weekday full service lots are a nice size. No laundry facilities and no convenience store. Labelled roads and numbered sites on a map would be a great improvement. With the price of these lots, the pool should be included. It is minimal at 1.00, but why.
our smile say it all
This is a very nice campground and conservation area. The pool is big and lovely, and the trails are beautiful (also easy to walk through). Staff is very nice and helpful, including the pool staff.
Our favourite Grand River Conservation area park. So well maintained and there are lots of sites. Tent sites are big and premium rv sites are a good size. Regular rv sites were average size. Lots of areas to hike. Huge pool.
A great area to go for a walk or a bike ride. Some really nice trails along the river
Massive pool that the kids loved. Can get super busy.
Great trails!
Good times lots of services including canoe and kayak companies
Great place for camping partying and nature. Live the river
lots of trails to explore.
Great campground close to the city. The park and washrooms are lean and the swimming pool is enormous. Campsites are large and shaded by huge trees but provide little privacy. It's a great getaway for new campers or campers with small kids.
Great place for all ages, nice pool, good camping and access to the river for fishing and boating.
Great place to camp. Booking online is not so easy
Wonderful place to just go and get some relaxing time and get back to nature.
Would be 5 stars if you didn't have to be charged for camping when you're just going in to use the pool, that seems silly to me.
Amazing place to watch wildlife
Best place to be
Great camping! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites were large and clean. Close to playground and washrooms and pool. Will be back for sure!
Nice and huge pool
It is very nice place for camping fishing and there is huge swimming pool. The best time for swimming is around 5 30 Pm not too many people. If you like to come and have bbq there is covered area with bbq. It is nice place to spand outside with kids if you are on low budget. Buy pass and you can enjoy other parks as well.
Great nature space for exploring with your dog
Very large camping area that is uncrowded and still camp there.
Took my kids for their first camping trip here and we loved it!
Not a lot to do once you have been there a few days
Swimming, camping, BBQ to take your family for a fun weekend close to Toronto.
Excellent for fishing and sight seeing!
A diamond in the rough! We went during the off season and basically had the place to ourselves. The island is loaded with different trails to get your exercise. Didn't get to check out the pool (offseason) but the size is impressive! Bathrooms were well maintained and campsites were awesome. Theres a large central playground for children as well!
Occupants are bit noisey but the park and river are lovely.
It's close to home has huge swimming pool it's very grassy the mosquitos aren't bad at all unless by the water showers are decent some sites aren't very private racoons can be loud at night little scary
A great park for camping n fishing. Close enough to Brantford to easily get anything you need... Or forgot. Huge pool with splash park for the little ones. GREAT family fun zone.
A beautiful place to go canoeing and kayaking! The people are nice! I definitely do this again.
NiCe
This park as always was great. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Very friendly as well. The neighbours i had were great as well. Dog friendly park makes for dog heaven. The fishing was good as well.
Sites are clean, fishing was tough
Campground was fine, nothing fancy. The pool is an amazing concept and could be awesome but it's not kept clean. The pool is very large but should be maintained like every other pool. Pool deck was filthy and change rooms/showers were absolutely disgusting.
Great for camp or even take a ride
Very nice place in the summer. Fun for the whole family!
Very nice park. Miles and miles of Biking, walking and jogging trails right at the entrance to the park.
Nice park. Rafting on river was great
Very nice and quiet camping area.
Online reservation requires you to select 2 nights even thought it days single night camping allowed. Campgrounds are ok but neighbors are close.
The pool is clean and huge... Makes for a great day of swimming with people of all ages... There are a lot of hiking and biking spots too but we focussed mostly on the pool area. Bathrooms were also clean... I will definitely be going back.
I was there to go Turbo Tubing. The river was lovely but saw little of the park besides the giant pool.
It was okay but not that exciting. If you are a genuine outdoorsy person it won't be the place for you. Has alcohol ban and parts of the conservation not allowed to play radio. It's like a trailer park in the woods type of feeling. When saw a couple guys go out on the inner tubes down the Grand River, which they rented from the conservation...they had no life jackets on. So some safety concerns popped up.
Fun camping, close to home.
Rode the traill from Cambridge to Brant. So pleased when the trail took me right into the Brant Conservation Park. Huge place with many great campsite area's. Pleasantly surprised when i came across their concessions stand. Enjoyed a large 12" hotdog. Was set to go swimming, afterwards, but disappointed when thunder caused them to move everyone out of the pool until at least half hour passed before any other sounds of thunder where heard. Koodos on their process regarding safety. They do care about us campers.
Nice park. Great people. Kids love the pool
Gorgeous
Very nice Kayaking spot, river water is very warm A nice camping spot
Awesome place for picnic or camping. I wish washrooms were a bit cleaner. Other than that lots of activities available for kids and adults.
Spacious, clean sites. Staff are helpful and polite . Pool is very kid friendly. Close to shopping plaza in case items were forgotten. We Will definitely make this a part of our summer adventures moving forward.
Had a good time here. The campsites are big and the nearby trails are nice. It wasnt buggy at all and the washrooms are clean. The showers have very good water pressure.. like rip your skin off powerful. The water in the pool is very cold. Firewood is $8 a bag and you help yourself. Recommend keeping your receipt handy as a security guard asked me if I paid for that wood i was loading in the truck. Parking is kind of steep at $12.50 per day.
So peaceful!
Stayed at a group site with a bunch of families and had a blast! The man made lake is great to have at a campground. Just wished they had better facilities close to the group sites.
Cold pool
Have camped here 3 times and all were enjoyable. Large pool, ok fishing, and good camp sites. Great spot to paddle the Grand River.
Love Brant Park camp here every year. Looking at seasonal camp sites in the future.
Great facility for family camping and outdoor recreation.
Just amazing place to chill and you can rent a raft or a kayak
Nice, small campground. Very quiet in the spring. Field of birdhouses and various birds to watch. Garbage littered about on pathways though, which wasn't expected in a conversation area.
Went tubing down the river. Great fun!
Awesome place to go, very clean
Beautiful conservation area. It is tick season - so beware! Check your pets when you leave the park, found a tick on my dog today after a beautiful walk.
Great place, mostly set up for camping but has a nice trail by the river and lots of natural wetlands and wildlife.
Nice place I liked it
A decent park, facilities are here, a bit of a late night ruckus but not too bad.
Over all we had a great time there but we had asked why our camp site didn't have a picnic table, they said they would give us one and it never showed up. Not too happy about this.
Great flora and fauna
It is a great campsite allow easy access to Grand River for canoeing.
Nice place to walk and enjoy nature . ???? Dam is nice
Lots of raccoons and skunks. Do not leave any food out at all. Bathrooms were kind of clean. Definitely drive around to find a good site. Some are much better than others.
Great conservation area and excellent fishing.
Good place for family camping.
Was a pretty good camp ground, kept mostly clean. Will be coming back.
Awesome Place
Great park to camp
Beautiful place to hike.
Love this conservation area. I camp here all the time
There is nice paddling here, whether it's canoe, kayak or raft, that you can rent as well. The camping looks nice, never been camping here before but the sites look pretty private and decently spread apart with lots of trails between.
Excellent, well kept property. Great for summer camping or going for a walk any time of the year. Scenic Grand River and lots of trails to explore.
Muthafrickin 5 stars!!
Beautiful park with lots of open spaces. Camping areas were quiet and clean! Pool was closed but that's due to covid, can't wait for it to be open next summer.
Very nice clean, well kept Conservation Area. Nice big park. Swimming pool available fairly larger in size. Excellent for kids if you happen to go with them.
Very helpful and friendly staff and a lovely HUGE park with various amenities : camping, playgrounds, pool, sports fields, access to the grand. The outdoor pool is a sight to behold! It is perfect for little kids because they can wade in. Life jackets are free to use for your little ones and the lifeguards on duty do a wonderful job. Lots of green space around the deck with big mature trees on the one corner. There is a small splash pad area and a snack bar/eating area beside the building with the change rooms. You can’t eat on the grass in the pool area which is unfortunate, as you need to pack up your food and kids and eat in the designated area. Change rooms are large in a slightly older building, but they have been clean each time we have gone. This is our go to place in the summer! If you live near Brantford and you haven’t been, you need to check out the pool!!!
Awesome park, very close, awesome pool, camping... And on the Grand River
Nice pool and friendly staff.
It's like a glorified trailer park. Had a lot of issues finding enough trail to hike. Tried the island and that was ok, but the next viable trail is a far walk through trailer park. Would never go again. Only reason for 2 stars is that the pool looked good and well maintained.
Nice campsites. Decently private in most areas. Park area in Hawthorne is good as there were plenty of kids for mine to play with. Close to the grand river is very nice for viewing and canoeing. Pool is cold. I usually like cool but this one is cold. It is also quite a hike from the campground with no walking paths so you must use the roads. Nice overall for a short visit
Super
Very nice place
Great place to camp along with great fishing.... What more can you ask for ??
Excelent fall camping
The dish pool is great for kids. It is very bush here in the summer. Bath and change rooms definitely need some tlc. Not the cleanest.
Lovely! We did DIY rafting here as the ending spot. The daily parking was $7 which is fair.
We return annualy because of Dan he is great always helpful! LISTENS TO YOUR CONCERNS
Clean well maintained with large sites.
No beach, at least a spot to put your boat in though
Helpful staff with a great atmosphere. Was a great time. Washrooms were clean.
Gorgeous views of the Grand River! Well maintained trails and a lovely environment to relax in. Lots of wildlife to see too. Recommended!
Great place. Love the fact if arrive after 830pm can pay at thw gate foe camping. I just look online to see what spots are available to camp for two days and went into office next day to pay for next day. Lots are huge great people. Only thing bathrooms a bit of a walk. We are tent people however still like to have water and electricity on site.
Showers and bathrooms were cleaner than most camp sites. Nice old trees, great time
Nice sites, pool is ok
Great!
Great place to escape the every day grind. Big outdoor pool. Daily, weekly and monthly passes.
Spots are too close to eachother and a lot of people seems to live there for the summer. From the spot we stayed at we heard the highway all night. Probably not a big deal if you are with an RV and AC. It's clean though.
Cant wait till this summer to go camping again !!!!
Group site 705 - This was a great site for a large group. We easily fit five trailers and a few tents. As with all GRCA parks, the are no services. This site also doesn't have an outhouse but the walk isn't too far to the bathrooms, maybe 5 minutes. The site is quite private, we didn't hear much from other sites during the day and through the evening.
Absolutely love this place, the staff are amazing and so much to do here with kids. Especially if you like nature and bugs. Great spot
Very quite due to Covid. The kayaking and canoe rental is open, which is wonderful.
Fantastic camping in the fall and lots of room for kiddos to run around, explore, and have fun.
Love the pool and splash pad area!
Good times
Nice area to chill. Lots of places for a picnic. Kids have plenty of space to roam and explore while burning off extra energy.
River rafting was an amazing experience. The raft did get stuck many times along the river but everyone enjoyed the fun.
Great place to camp.
Pretty cool here, the river's quite shallow and a bit smelly but there's a massive pool, so it's all good. Kayak and Canoeing for $10-15, lots of camping space.
Excellent service grand river rafting great place to go
Amazing river side trail.
Great park for camping with the family.
Beautiful grounds. You can camp there or take you camper there. The river goes right by there so you can do some rafting. Good wilderness to hike.
Beautiful area to explore right here in Brantford! Lots of trails and places to check out. Since it is a conservation area expect to pay a small fee for entrance.
Nice place for camping but it doesn't have good walking trails. There is also a decent trailer park area but I don't have a trailer. Not great for my purposes.
The campsites have little to no shade but there is a public pool you can enter if you come at the right time of year.
Great campsite with large private lots, nice walking trails and an amazing pool!
Great Place :) Easy access to surrounding trails.Geocache's everywhere...fishing..reasonable prices. Lots of campsites available. Ive added some photos of the "200"s campsites as thats where we were. Will 100% return!
Great place for a hike!
Great place to hang out with the family, the employees The gate are very helpful and make camping there simple! Had a great time! Would recommend!
It's a good Park but I'm forced to go there all summer every summer and it gets boring
Beautiful view of the grand river.
Great staffing and a good place to just relax or swim
Lovely space to get out and pretend you're far from home.
We had an unserviced site, was pretty big, washrooms were close by and a playground, Great for the kids. Reasonable price. Lots of wildlife.
Very Clean and well organized.. Beautiful place to to camp, water rafting, picnic
Lots of mature trees and the park is quiet. The bathrooms could be cleaned more often. The wildlife, raccoons and skunks, are not afraid of people's. Pack up your food carefully all the time.
Went for a company picnic and it was clean and quiet.
It's a wonderful place for hiking, canoeing. Grand River Experience was awesome. Rent a kayak or canoe and get all necessary instructions from their staff and you're ready to go.. looking forward for my next visit.
Seasonal camper up there I love it
Great place for camping we come here every year.
Not a bad park, some great nature spots with the proximity to the grand. Some large sycamore trees, as well as a bald eagle's nest. Great spot to pull out your canoe on a journey from Paris. I also enjoy visiting the swimming pool in the summer.
I did the river rafting and it was amazing 4 hours of pure enjoyment would definitely recommend staff is knowledgeable and also humorful i also liked that they were friendly!
Great polite staff Very large area. Good for folks who are strictly keeping a distance during the COVID19 pandemic.
Well kept area. Very nice getaway in the city.
Awesome camp sites located here. They also have a nice swimming pool for people to use. The only issue we had with the place was the outhouses for restrooms. They do their best to keep them clean but the smell inside of them is just appalling. All in all, it is an excellent place to camp.
Great conservation area, minutes from downtown Brantford.
Great outdoor family fun. You can fish near the beautiful dam. Nice trail to spend couple of hours, huge pool for everyone and best of all, never too crowded.
(Translated) world (Original) bote
Great Campground. Huge place. Amazing pool. Friendly staff.
Nice place to go camping, River right there, playgrounds available and bathrooms/showers.
Great time , close to town , close to the grand river
It is a great place for "tubing" fans as the Grand river is calm, shallow and scenic. But there is only one inconvenient location to launch your own tubes as the other location is controlled by Grand River Rafting company which will not allow private tubes to be launched from their premises. Also, the place is poorly marked for day-users and there are no picnic spots next to the scenic river. Can be a major attraction with few minor changes which I am surprised have not happened.
Good place to camp
Always enjoy camping here, lots of great memories.
Bathroom and showers were not clean. The people we went with arrived to their site covered in trash.
Nice big campsites, front office closes way too early to buy more ice or cheap garbage "wood" - so thin it burns for maybe 2-5 minutes and then it's out.. pool is alright, not too many hiking trails and pretty quiet in late season
Take the cooler with you, with plenty of liquids and some food ... and enjoy the day!
Great for family and friends. Decent camping
Amazing park! Perfect for cute dates, family gatherings with plenty of space for all sorts of activities! There are picnic areas and a place to rent water crafts. Make a whole day of this place because it's full of great times.
Our first time renting a kayak there. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We will for sure be back. I can't want for the pool to open next season.
Beautiful place with grassy campsites. one of the smoothest stretches of the grand to look at. The bald eagles nest near the entrance of the park is an amazing sight as well. I could go on forever about how great of a place this is.my family has been camping here regularly since 1976 and loved every season.
Floated in a tube
Paid use of a public pool (no beach), biggest disappointment for this muskoka boy. Great campsites, however. Shady, good pit location. Bugs weren't much of an issue (compared to muskoka anyways lol).
Enjoyed canoeing on the river, tried to make it from Brantford up to Paris but ended up turning at the 403. The kids loved the giant pool. The firewood you buy on site is very crappy. Very thin and burn way to quickly.
Clean and really well priced!
Good campground nice big pool
Excellent place to camp! Except having to pay extra for Swimming!!
Good place for kids, on the Grand River. Big pool with life guards. Near by nature hiking trails. Outdoor fun pretty much in the heart of Brantford
Great pool and clean-ish washrooms
Beautiful place. Staff was friendly
Very nice conservation area, we did not see the whole park though we were there for the grand river rafting company
I have camped there twice with kids ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Brant is what I would consider a developed campground, with features like a gigantic pool, comfort stations and playgrounds. However, you can really feel immersed in nature because the campsites are quite private and there are wonderful hiking trails. Within the park there are gorgeous trails along the Grand River with loads of wildlife including birds, turtles, frogs, deer and more. Just outside the park gates you can connect with the Brantford to Paris rail trail and run, bike or hike endlessly. We also enjoyed the events put on by the park, like outdoor movies and Halloween in August.
Loved the trails of the park. The park seemed very well-maintained. It was quiet and peaceful enough to enjoy beautiful nature of the park.
Great park kids loved it
Brant Park is awesome! Love taking my family here :)
Always a great place to go!
Was here for tubing! All the staff super friendly and helpful!
Pretty park to explore and camp, very friendly staff, as well as other visitors.
Very quiet and relaxing
Great campsite . Big park .
Great local spot for camping, we stayed right on the river, and enjoyed the bird watching and swimming.
Very nice park. Grand river tubing is a blast that goes out of this park.
Grew up in this trailer park lol. It has changed alot though since I was a kid. Fantastic pool, great staff anything you need they are very accommodating. Had my wedding here. Prices are high $7.50 just to get in. Dosen't matter if you are only going in for 10 minutes.
Love it me and my family go there and we always leave with something good to say about our weekend there
Sites are big. Paved roads for riding bikes. No extra activities for kids though. Pool is dirty.
Great place to camp in the city.
Fantastic!! Beautiful, well cared for park! Lots to see and do here. The scenery and Grand River surround Brant Park and it is gorgeous!! Awesome trails, hiking and fishing..the river water is very clear and natural..but, there is a huge, lake style swimming pool too..camping is fun and easy in a place as beautiful as Brant Park. I love it here!
We have enjoyed the park for many year's. Right now due to covid pool is closed and some area's for the kids. They are now having Saturday night kids movies outdoors in the park.
Loving the experience here, just sad I couldn't stay longer, as the site was booked. The young worker lady was also very sweet, and the campsites were nicely kept. If your looking for a relaxing campsite look no further Brant Conservation Area is the place to be, will definitely be back as soon as possible.
Very peaceful and quiet place best for camping. Bathroom are clean.
Was here for a weekend. The conservation area is very nice and the people that are at the park are so friendly. The trails are along the river and the walls were perfect. See you again next year. And another camping area to definitely add to our list. ????????
What a lovely little spot to go camping or tenting with a whole lot of 300 year old oak trees all around you
Not bad not bad.
Amazing !
Good place for group Camping
Clean , well kept and friendly staff !
Great place for fun with family and friends. Kids enjoyed the pool and the splash pad a lot. Fishing is also available. Didn’t like the entrance fee and additional fee for the pool. Anyway, recommended.
Wonderful spot to enjoy the Grand River, fall colors are starting to show up
Very complicated to find yourself. Only staff knows how to navigate on site. Signs at that place not helpful. But overall not bad. When we lost , we got help from staff, how to find the place we looked for.
Great swimming area, disappointed we couldn't eat snacks on the grass and had to eat in the designated eating area instead of snacking with our kids throughout the afternoon. However, totally understand and appreciate how spotless the grounds were as a result.
Great overall experience! Loved the kayaking we did and our spot was very nice!
Great campground decent sized sites
Always have fun when camping at Brant Conservation Area
Well maintained, cleaner than what I would expect. Trails are also well maintained. Swimming pool was not opened yet when I visited.
Great times!
????
Spent one night here in September 2021. We are a 45' RV usually hauling a 35' Stacker Trailer. Without the trailer, this park can 'just' accommodate us. All sites are back-in and a little tight for our size, but with some wiggling, we managed without getting any branch scratches, etc. I wouldn't recommend it for RV's over 40' in length. The park itself is very well kept, right on the river, beautiful. The pool, etc was closed, but I believe it would be a wonderful place to spend time with the family when open. There's at least one playground for the kids (may be more as I didn't tour the complete park) along with laundry facilities and public bathrooms. Price of one night was $60, so, on the high side for an overnight stay comparing to other places we've found.
Beautiful!
Best place to go camping. You're right by the grand river. You can rent kayaks and canoes. Its beautiful, lota of friendly people and always wild life arpund. Ex. Deer, hawks, Eagles etc
It's a great place !
The pool isnt open and there was a lot of people!! But it's a fun adventure for the kids
Great park to relax, get rest as there are no much things to do. No beach, pool closed this 2020 and fishing areas no so comfortables.
Awesome
Have been a seasonal camper for two years now this will be our third year and we cannot wait! Dan is an awesome guy and takes care of us!
Not my first choice for camping, but good for families. Sites can be pretty tight, so do some recon before you choose.
I like this park. It is a nice, well kept area and I enjoy camping and swimming here.
Amazing area for walking and picnic. I when to the pool and change room found poor maintenance and sanitary conditions
Wide open if you want to take your dog out for a spin.
Easy and a great price to stay for just one night , for our road trip.
Great family fun
Spent alot of time in this area when I worked for Grand River Rafting. Its a special spot.
Needs a manager, the place needs someone who cares. Stayed six days washrooms not cleaned people handling sewage improperly.this was a pretty little gem and is still clean on some lots
Large swimming pool. Friendly staff. Birds and large trees.
Awesome rsfting experience
Great place to take the kids.
Good place for families. Could use some updating of parks and pool area.
Went rafting with Grand River Rafting. Really nice area. Lots of fun.
Perfect place for Kayaking, hiking, biking and camping, I had a blast.
Some sites are quite nice and spacious while others are tiny with little privacy. The only real way to tell is seeing the site first hand I think.
Lovely park. We had a great time. However, the park needs to step up on their patrols of the area. We were beside people that were a nightmare. They were hollering and being rowdy until well after 2am. I was surprised no one was driving by in the trucks throughout the night to keep their eye on things like this. I was more than happy to bash pot lids by their site early in the morning until they got mad....so they woke up bright and early. Happy hangover, selfish idiots.
Nice park
Grand River Rafting was a blast
The security personnel circulating the grounds are terrifically over zealous. They very aggressively use their authority to prey on the most vulnerable people within society because its the norm and that makes it ok. We and our friends were Maliciously targeted and thereafter were unfairly mistreated by them and will never return
Very beautiful park lots of nature and animals spotted few deers and turkey .
Nice views park is well taken care of.
Had a great time on the river, you do have to paddle sometimes, I wouldn't swim in the river though. It was relaxing n quite
Lovely, peaceful, quiet family oriented Park
Nice area. Pretty quiet.
Great atmosphere! Lots of wildlife to discover. Great place for a family day.
Wonderful location to camp and to hike! Great place!
Great spot, the mosquitos didn't slaughter me like usual the moment I step onto a campsite! Pool for the kids, lots of forest. Wildlife inclusive of snakes can be found on the camp sites. Watch for ticks like anywhere these days. They are present on the camp grounds
Great park..for families or even just you and your dog. Just went in September to my favorite site..and was very peaceful..lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife to take in. And close to town if you need anything..but feels like your far away from the hustle. Been coming camping here for the past (4) summers from Hamilton..45 min drive from home to camp.
It's was nice but lots of ticks so be careful
Went there for kayaking but stopped on the way out to enjoy their pool.
We've been camping there for 10+ years. I think that speaks for itself.
Great place to take the family for a swim. Fairly reasonable price to get into the park and go swimming. Its 8 dollars for an adult including swimming and our child was free under 2. The pool is massive so you don't have to worry about running into anybody or it being overcrowded. They have a concession stand where you can buy food and drinks. You can also bring your own food and drinks in and have a picnic if you'd like instead. Slight drawback is they have a lot of rules. We couldn't bring our child's flotation device because they only allow life jackets. Not the biggest deal. All in all, it's a great place to go swimming. Along with the other activities they have like camping, hiking and fishing.
Trails great
Nice place..would have been nicer if they cut their lawn..considering it was a school event and they knew we were coming.
Hidden gem .. Beautiful park & great camping!
Nice pool, love the "zero edge"(like walking in a lake) entry into the water. The building you enter the pool through could use an update, very tight walking our double stroller through the zig zag maze from entryway to bathrooms then to pool. On top of that, the life jackets checkout is right in the way of people entering\exiting. The bathrooms were dirty. This pool only uses UCL certified life jackets(for children), no floatation devices certified UL. No eating allowed in pool area (even on the grass where personal items are), must use designated area for food and drinks.
Good experience, beautiful pool, it could improve the bathrooms.
Create camping, unfortunately some of the campers are loud and rowdy and nothing is done about it!!
Nice park. Clean
Beautiful park, swimming pool is the best part for children which opens at 11:00 AM. I will suggest to go early like 10:15 ish so that you can occupy a close spot if you haven't reserved it. Furthermore charcoal bbq is allowed.
I always enjoy my time at Brant Park, I'll be back again and again????????????
Great place to go camping with the family
Always enjoyable time, love photographing the wild life in the park area
Great place to take the kids, good for camping and has a great place to swim. Very large pool with a small splash pad
Love camping and hiking/biking here!
I pre booked online and was charged $13 non refundable registration fee. If i would have just walked up to the front desk the day of, i wouldn't be charged that fee. I got penalized for booking my campsite in advance. Pretty lame. Park is nice, it was relatively quiet at night. No loud parties, beautiful grand river is right there. Very small playground for kids. Most camp sites are very nice and clean. Bathrooms and showers looked very clean. Staff very friendly
Excellent parknformamday trip.or camping.
Very nice and huge campsite for group. The ground is covered in grass which we all enjoyed playing. Close amenities. We enjoyed our camping here with the perfect weather.
Nice big pool and the washrooms a relatively clean for the amount of people that use them.
Wonderful trails for a walk. Great view of The Geand River from a walking bridge.
The park seemed quite nice, large with lots of amenities and space (we were just passing through really). The people using it however were not exhibiting the best behavior or practicing social distancing measures or consideration of others. Shame.
The kids and I enjoy camping here for a weekend getaway.
Nice
Highly recommend!
It is fairly peaceful here.
Have been a camper here since I was a kid. Love the access the to the river, the pool (precovid), and nice neighbour's. Have only camped seasonal and would recommend. Great location close to highway and groceries etc. Plenty of opportunity to be out in the wilderness along the many trails in the area. Bring floatys to float the river ! Also bug spray, especially if camping in "Hawthorne".
Good fishing
Awesome :)
Great place to camp
The conservation park is very big and lost of people coming for Picnic , Camping and River Rafting so lots of Maintenance is required , but Still needs Improvement on the Quality of Washroom. Need to replace portable with Permanent Washroom
We had a blast
What a fantastic park! Excellent camping sites. Right on the grand river!
Very nice trails
If you need a place to spend the day with the kids, this is the place
Decent park. Some of the bathrooms could use updating but they are usually clean.
Awesome place
Peaceful.
If you're looking for a quiet atmosphere with the possibility of getting a sneak peek at a deer walking by or Turtles sunbathing along the Grand river this place has it. No drunk teenagers or adults, just quiet and natural. No frills, no internet, so what! Talk to your loved ones and enjoy yourselfs. Take a Kayaking cruise, they also have a hug pool (covid closed but hopefully next year). Basically if you want calm and nature this place has it.
Amazing place. Was the perfect summer family reunion location.
Good for a bike ride
Typical camp ground.
Family reunion here. Great location
Love camping In This beautiful park.
Great place. Park people very helpful.
Amazing swimming pool, many great things to do here, but I personally think 14$ parking for visiting is to much. Either way nicely taken care of park, was very clean would recommend
Get place for camping or even a day trip. Places to picnic. Canoeing. And they have a very nice big big pool.
Great place for camping. We come back year after year
Beautiful heart breaking area. Unfortunately we encountered by a very unpleasant old lady whose camping side was empty and our kids accidentally went there without knowing it is rental site. Otherwise worthy place to revisit for a full picnic. Grand River view is awesome.
Decent campsites, they keep there washrooms fairly clean for a campground they have a pool that is well maintained but you have to pay to use it and arent allowed to bring any thing in with you
Nice and clean park paid entry clean and big pool for kids
It's a nice park, but the last few years the cleanliness and maintenance of the grounds is awful
Beautiful, scenic and well maintained. Highly recommended this camp site.
Verry nice camp ground. Great playground for the kids and friendly staff
Awesome family place love it
It was very exciting and adventurous
Great kayak experience
Love it here, fun for the kids
Why isn’t it listed anywhere the depth of the pool? Cool it’s 1.2 acres but how deep? Tried calling no reply whatsoever ever, no call back to date
It works, but could be better in terms of looks.
Nice campsite, washrooms not so nice.
Large park with lots to do. Picnicing canoeing and kayaking. Great for families
This is one of the best camp ground in a2hr. Rateis from to.very clean great fishing for bass trout. hikeing along the grand.or rent a canoe paddel the river to Parris ont 2.5 hr. Trip .camp sites are the best in ont Pool is big but cold splash pad .ive been to a lot of camp grounds around to this is the best by far.
Bloody expensive to get into the park these days not worth it if you are just trying to hit the pool with the kids
Great place!
Excellent park.nice site and very quiet
Have camped here for a dozen years or so. Usually do a group camping trip July long weekend. Pretty quiet, staff is good.
Reasonable rates comfortable camp sites and have never had an issue with year round campers telling us to keep it down the only downside is the no playing of music past 10pm
Love camping here every summer. Beautiful camp ground, especially great when it's not too busy (weekdays or non-holiday weekends)
i don't recommend people who work for pool not helpful so rude and unmannered . will never go back again
Staff was friendly, but the campsite lacked privacy. The services (water and hydro) were not easy to reach and the Hydro was only 15 amp service but was advertised as 30 amp. We will not camp here again.
Awesome place went there with my family!! We all really enjoyed it. Tons to do and awesome trails
Huge sites.
Great place to tube down the Grand River
Excellent place to camp
Wonderful little conservation/camping area with access to a wonderful river
(Translated) The coding of the camp is a bit messy, the location of the camp is small, it seems very dense, overall it is fine! (Original) 营地的编码有点点乱,营地位置偏小,显得非常密集,总体还好啦!
Perfect place
Love to picnic there with my family.everyone loves the pool.
Oh it's a great place to fish an canoe down the grand river
1.two small playgrounds 2.swimming pool closed 3.fresh drinking water available at the park …
A quiet place away from busy roads of city, trails for walk, good for camping. Easy parking
Went rafting on the grand river 13 kilometers. Took 5 and a half hours. Lots of fun. Would do it again. Great experience.
Kinda pricey and the ladies showers are smelly. And last year my generator was stolen from our camp site and the staff was little to no help.
Great place. I've only been once. The gate attendant was helpful. The park was peaceful. Plenty of space and activities for families with children. Being on the grand river is a bonus. Calm, serene, and friendly environment.
Great place for kids
Best camp ground in the area !
Wife & I were very. Happy with our whole experience. We tried booking for a month but monthly sites were not available so we book a month by daily rates . Dan the assistant manager called us after 2 days to say someone had cancelled their monthly booking for July & it was offered to us we took it immediately & are happy we did .We thank Dan & your staff for doing Xtra to help out. Great park to stay in big lots lots of wildlife thank you
Pretty boring pool but still nice with this humidity
We buy a pass that gets us in to the grcas every year! Brant park is one of our faves! They have 3 parks multiple trails lots of camp sites bathrooms and showers close to brantford to get stuff you may have forgotten!
The Wilkes Dam is the most interesting area, you can fishing, canoeing, kids can play around in downstream area, catching minnows and small shrimps, etc. Much more fun than the swimming pool.
Peaceful place for camping and the sites are large
(Translated) The camp number is a bit messy, not easy to find (Original) 营地编号稍微有点点乱,不是很好找
Great close camping for kids
Nice clean park
Clean, quiet, nice man made pool.
Pretty tree'd walk on asphalt trails along river. Bikes are numerous. Pets allowed on leash. Accessible from numerous parking areas. Good maps on most entry points. Feels like groomed country trails.
Great time tubing down the river with my family and friends.
Great local place to spend time with the family camping or swimming
Was a good, clean and large site right by the river. But We were unaware that Grand River Rafting was run out of the next site over which made it more busy than we'd like..and a grill to cook over the fire pit would be nice. But all in all a beauty park
Rafting was so fun. Didn't camp here tho
Upon entry, to stay in a group site, I was welcomed to the parking with the utmost respect and excellent customer service. While registering my car with my friend who rented our group site the employees who assisted us were so kind, well mannered, and very flexible with with the entire process. They answered every question showing full knowledge of all the information needed for an excellent experience and did it with a smile. I feel they each went above and beyond good customer service and am already planning to come back next summer!!
Good park...good for camping
Clean facilities and friendly staff
Great place to visit, if you are going tubing or kayaking, it take 4-5 hours. take food and drinks.
Love this place. Lots of room to roam.
Nice park
5 hour river raft was amazing!
The park is extremely clean and well maintained. Lots of activities for both adults and children including fishing, hikes, portaging, and has a pretty big waterpark. Privacy for each camp site varies but overall is relatively open. Excellent if you want to go camping and don't intend to drive 3+ hours.
Really peaceful on the streams, the canoeing is hard and tiring, but it is really fun
Great place for kids! Pool is big and clean
always nice here --- only lost a star because of the Tick issue -- UGH the ticks -- just watch for the ticks!
Great park. Secluded campsites in the area we stayed. Had a great time and will be back for sure.
Nice place to camp. Staff friendly. Pool area could be kept cleaner.
Great place some washrooms have been updated. Tough to fish there with kids not allowed to fish within 23m of the dam
Beautiful area would definitely recommend it
Impressed with how large the sites were here.
The water in the pool is always sooooooooo cold ☃
