Back in the 90’s it was a pretty sketchy place - but since it’s seemed to get more and more upkeep and turning into a decent place. Came here to to again down the hill in winter. Lots of grass to play on. Or get into trouble. Good times! ????

Great park with splash pad, pool. 2 structure sets for different age groups. Large round swings. Toddler swings and set ages 2 and up. Plenty of tables and shady spots. Washrooms open when water activities open. 12 to 8pm for splash pad and pool.

Awesome playground for both toddlers and older children. It's close to the water area as well. The splashpark is great, but the big bucket dump scares me for the little ones. Washroom facilities on site are generally clean, tidy, and are very spacious. The pool is good, but staff need to start filling it earlier so it's open at the 11:00am time scheduled. The staff are terrific, friendly, helpful, and attentive to their responsibilities. Plenty of sun and shade areas, seating with picnic tables and benches. Great place to spend a hot summer day!

Has 2 playgrounds, one right under the water tower and the other at the bottom of the hill beside the outdoor swimming pool. The tobaggan hill is great even if there is a manhole at the bottom so you have to take care not to crash into it early in the season. There's also a lovely wading pool and splash pad nearby the swimming pool. excellent place for winter or summer fun.

Probably the nicest park in Brandon. Beautifully kept. Great for kids. Or for walking or a nice spot to read. Lots of things to do in the summer. And in the winter, this park has the best toboggan hills inside the city. We got married in Rideau Park! That's how lovely it is.

This park is usually nice. It has newer equipment and lots of space to run around. It has large multi-kid swings and a great water park in the summer. Unfortunately it has taken a bit of damage and only one of the swings is still up and one of the larger pieces of equipment was removed.

There are nice flower gardens to look at. A great play structure and a swimming pool and splash park. There is a good tobogganing Hill here for the winter. It is also a nice relaxing park to walk the dogs in.

Great place to go walking, take family time, or social distance with friends. There are swings, teeder totters, play structures, splash park (not open yet), lots of seating areas, picnic tables, shaded sitting areas, paved walking paths, and trees if you just want to drop a blanket and have an old fashioned picnic. Everyone I have seen there has been great for social distancing, and most kids have been wearing masks on the play structures. If you are playing Pokemon Go, Rideau park has 3 gyms and 8+ Pokestops. Can easily do laps around the park and stock up on free Pokeballs while getting excercise. Bonus, you might even get to see a real rabbit or two.

The park is well kept and clean although the garbage cans needed to be emptied. A great place with picnic tables with a roof over top. Lots of play structures and a kids pool for all the children with washrooms. Great place to take a break and have fun.

With walking paths, play grounds, pool, splash pad/wading pool, toboggan hill, and lawn bowling all on site, there is seemingly something to do year round at the park. Parking can get tricky during the afternoon in summer months as it is one of the most amenity rich locations in the city. Parking is available by the water tower with additional parking alongside the street.
